50 Cent had lunch with Goldie Hawn yesterday (11.08.11)

The rapper and the ‘Overboard’ actress enjoyed a meal together, with both taking to twitter to compliment each other after the event.

He wrote: “I had lunch with Goldie hawn she is complete sweetheart.(sic)”

Goldie – who is in a long-term relationship with actor Kurt Russell, added: “Lunch was especially sweet today cause I met 50cent. His smile lit up the room.(sic)”

Hours later, she concluded in a tweet to the ‘Buzzin’ hitmaker: “Oh sweetest! I adore you!Xx(sic)”

It is not known why the pair met up for food, but it is not the first time 50 Cent has dined with a Hollywood legend.

Last year he spent time with ‘Gypsie’ actress Bette Midler, and she confessed afterwards she would love to work with him on musical project.

She said: “He is such a gorgeous star, holy cow. I’d love to collaborate with him, but I’m 30 years older than him. I really can’t rap, but I’d like to sing in the background on ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’.”

50 Cent loves hanging out with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino because he gets to be a “regular guy”

The hip-hop superstar became pals with the Hollywood A-listers in 2008 after he appeared with them in movie ‘Righteous Kill’ and enjoys meeting up with them because the attention is taken away from him.

He said: “It’s interesting being around them because when you are around someone that has that much attention focused on them, I get the chance to be a regular guy on the side, so it’s kind of cool to hang out them.”

Earlier this week, 50 was forced to pull the release of his new album.

The ‘In Da Club’ hitmaker claims problems with his record company, Interscope, have prevented him from being able to release the album – which had the working title ‘Black Magic’ – and vowed not to work with them again.

He tweeted: “Man I’m not releasing a album i can’t believe interscope is this f***ed up right now. I apologize to all my fans (sic).

“I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to many (sic).”

Pauly D — Shoring Up 3-Album Deal with 50 CENT

Pauly D is DANGEROUSLY close to joining forces with G-Unit — because TMZ has learned, 50 Cent desperately wants to sign him to his record label … in fact, a 3-album deal is already on the table.

Sources close to negotiations tell TMZ, the “Jersey Shore” DJ met with Fiddy and his people in NYC last week — where they discussed the lucrative record deal … and also tossed around the idea of a Pauly D merchandise line, specifically Pauly D-brand headphones.

Nothing’s signed yet — but according to sources, 50 wants to hammer out the deal ASAP … before Pauly jets off to Italy to shoot “Jersey Shore” Season 4.

We’re told talks have become so serious — 50 and Pauly have even started to kick around ideas for people Pauly can collaborate with. Calls to 50’s people weren’t returned.

50 Cent and Chelsea Handler went to a bar in New Orleans last night … and by the way they got up close and personal with each other, they gave some serious credibility to those dating rumors.

TMZ has obtained a photo of the two of them at the Blue Nile jazz bar in New Orleans – and one spy inside the joint tells us they were getting very hot and heavy with each other.

But before 50 got cozy with Chelsea, dude knocked out a live freestyle set with a local band at the club.

Jay-Z is the highest-earning man in hip-hop.

The ’99 Problems’ rapper – who is married to singer-and-actress Beyonce Knowles – has topped Forbes list of hip-hop ‘Cash Kings’ for the third year out of four. After he raked in $63 million in the last 12 months, thanks to his ‘Blueprint 3’ world tour and other ventures including his record label, fashion line, and stakes in the New York Nets basketball team, Broadway music ‘Fela!’ and a chain of sports bars.

Ryan Schinman, chief of Platinum Rye, America’s largest buyer of music and talent for big corporations, said: “Jay-Z is in a league of his own right now. There are very few artists of any genre, not just hip-hop, who’ve created such brands for themselves.”

Music mogul P. Diddy came in second in the list, although grossed less than half of the money earned by Jay-Z at $30 million.

Senegalese artist Akon – who has recently worked with artists including Whitney Houston and David Guetta – was third in the list, earning $21 million, partly from revenue generated by his Konvict clothing range.

Lil Wayne, who is currently serving jail time for weapons charges, made $20 million, while rapper-turned-actor Ludacris took $16 million, just behind Dr. Dre on $17 million.

Troy Marshall, vice president of promotions at Interscope records, added: “There’s a lot of cross-branding and cross-marketing that’s going on these days. Those are very important components for artists as far as spreading the message of their music and spreading the message of their brand.”

Other artists making the top 10 include Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West.

50 Cent – the only other person to have topped the list in the last four years, making £150 million in 2008 – saw his position slump to 14, after making a relatively-low £8 million in the last 12 months.

50 Cent wants Robert Pattinson to join his rap group G-Unit.

The hip-hop star thinks the ‘Twilight’ heartthrob – who has previously contributed songs to the movie franchise’s soundtrack – would be a great addition to the band because he would attract so many female fans.

When asked he would like to join his band, he said: “Robert Pattinson. He has a big enough following to be the frontline. ‘Twilight’ ain’t no joke.”

50 is looking for new G-Unit members to tour with him this summer because his regular bandmates Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo are busy with their own musical projects.

He added to MTV: “It’s interesting because they probably won’t be coming with me. In the US, Banks has momentum with the first single off his new album, ‘Beamer, Benz or Bentley.’ So he’ll be out on his own tour. While he’s doing that, it probably wouldn’t make sense for Yayo to come with me because his record is almost done now – he should use that time to complete his record and release it shortly after.”

50 – who is getting ready to release his new album ‘Black Magic’ – is looking forward to touring with some new artists because he likes to give people a head start in the music industry.

He said: “You’ll see new faces, because I’m looking for new artists now. I’ll sign new artists and take them with me and kinda groom them. I don’t specifically say, ‘I want this kind of artist’ – I look for talent that inspires me, that complements what I do with their own thing.”

50 Cent wants to have unprotected sex with Beyonce Knowles, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

The ‘Candy Shop’ rapper has a crush on all three singers and would love to settle down and have children with the stars.

He said: “I would kiss Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.  I would marry Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna in Africa, I’d have 3 wives!  And I would avoid wearing condoms and have really big families.”

While he is a big admirer of the pop beauties, 50 is furious about Beyonce and Gaga’s video for their single ‘Telephone’ as he believes it highlights sexism against men in the music industry.

The hip-hop star – real name Curtis Jackson – told MTV News: “I think the video is hot. But there’s a shot in the video in the diner that’s just breasts. And it looks great, but if I shot the same shot in my music video, they would make me edit that immediately.

“Even if I had someone who was recognisable female talent that was part of the project, they wouldn’t allow that to go. They would think it was you taking advantage of a girl for marketing purposes or whatever.

“It’s their personal perception of your intentions of how you utilise it.  Like ‘It’s Britney b***h’ nobody has a problem with that.  But if I say, ‘It’s 50 b***h,’ everyone’s like, ‘Oh my god! You got to edit that.’ ”

50 Cent was inspired by Eminem to become a success.

The hip-hop star was determined to become a huge star all over the world after seeing the phenomenal sales the ‘Slim Shady’ rapper achieved with his third album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ in 2000.

He said: “I remember looking at Eminem’s plaque for ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’, and it had 35 countries on it where the record went gold or platinum, and I looked at that and thought, ‘I want one of those.’ “

50 – real name Curtis Jackson – believes he has been able to match Eminem’s success because of his commitment to touring.

He said: “I think at this point, most artists would dream of having the ability to travel from the United States to different territories and actually be wanted, and have people already knowing their material.

“I’m excited to be going on tour right now. A lot of music that I hear coming from new artists, I mean, some of it’s good and some of it I’ll completely pass on. And I think a lot of people out there feel the same way, and it’s just a shift in the actual climate of the music business itself.”

The ‘Poker Face’ singer will feature in a free animated magazine as part of a preview for American publishers Bluewater Productions’ upcoming Fame series.

According to Bluewater, the title will focus on “culturally relevant celebrities and other pop culture icons”.

The comic will be available on Free Comic Book Day on May 5 and the publishers are planning further issues featuring Robert Pattinson, 50 Cent, David Beckham and Taylor Swift.

The Fame series joins Bluewater’s other biographical titles Political Power and Female Force, which focus on political and high-profile female figures respectively.

Bluewater Productions President Darren G. Davis said: “Over the past year we saw an opportunity to broaden the scope of who reads comics.

“There were many who had never picked up a graphic novel or comic book but bought our biography titles like Female Force and Political Power. Fame is the natural extension of that trend.”

The ‘Candy Shop’ rapper – real name Curtis Jackson – says he can never be sure when he might want to go on a spending spree so always makes sure he is packing cash.

He said: “I always carry $25,000, in cash, just in case something happens… I don’t know whether I’ll have to buy something or not.

“I like to have cash on me because it feels like I have money.”

The hip-hop star also revealed he ended his six-year feud with ex-girlfriend Vivica Fox by inviting her to appear in his latest music video for ‘Do You Think About Me’.

He told US talk show host Tyra Banks: “I called her and I said, ‘You got to stop fighting and be in my video.’

“The song is about when relationships don’t work, and when I explained it to her it kind of intensified what the song was about.”

The rapper is launching his own signature scent for men, ‘Power by 50 Cent’, and says guys will receive an instant ego boost from the cologne.

He said: “Are you referring to my new perfume ‘Power by 50 Cent’? It helps to boost your self-confidence. It’s important to look good and even more important to smell good. What good are the best clothes if you smell bad?”

Although 50 will be wearing the fragrance himself, he insists he doesn’t need a confidence boost because he is an international superstar.
