Is Taylor Swift Dating Chord Overstreet
by Abbey on Feb.28, 2011, under Artist
Taylor Swift is reportedly dating ‘Glee’ star Chord Overstreet
The ‘Love Story’ hitmaker – whose most recent relationship was with ‘Love & Other Drugs’ star Jake Gyllenhaal from October to December last year – has been spotted enjoying dates with the actor and friends say the pair are enjoying getting to know each other.
After the couple were spotted at a hockey game last week, a friend told E! News: “They are dating. It’s in the early stages so who knows, but they seem to be into each other.”
The pair also attended Harvey Weinstein’s pre-Oscar party at Soho House on Saturday (26.02.11) night where a source said: “They spent most of the night talking closely and giggling. He would playfully touch her arm, and she couldn’t stop smiling. It was cute!!”
Meanwhile Taylor, 21, reportedly had an intense chat with former boyfriend Jake, 30, at the Vanity Fair post Oscars bash last night (27.02.11), where onlookers said they appeared to be “sorting something out”.
A guest at the party told People: “They were outside near the restroom having a discussion. It seemed a bit more serious – it certainly wasn’t a ‘Hi, how are you?’ talk. It seemed like they were catching up, sorting something out.”

Nick Jonas 2 Appear In ‘Glee’
by Abbey on Feb.16, 2011, under Artist, Band, Singer
Nick Jonas wants to appear in ‘Glee’
The 18-year-old singer is a big fan of the US musical drama series and would be “honoured” if show creator Ryan Murphy offered him a cameo role.
He said: “Everybody says this, obviously, in the entertainment business because it’s such a popular show – that’s why I’m reluctant to say it from time to time – but I really do appreciate the use of music in ‘Glee.’ I think everyone can relate that’s in the music business. Everyone’s just thankful that music is kind of popular again because ‘Glee’ does a great job of incorporating it into the show.
“I would humbly say that if there’s ever an opportunity they see that I could work well on that show, I would be honoured. Plus I think that cast is really talented – it would be fun.”
Even if he isn’t offered a role in the show, the Jonas Brothers star would happily grant permission for his music to be used.
He told website TVSquad.com: “Would I let them use our music? Absolutely! Whatever they wanted to use.”
Stars to have made cameo appearances on ‘Glee’ in the past include Britney Spears and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Lea Michele & Her Family
by Lisa on Feb.05, 2011, under Actress
Lea Michele finds it “tough” being away from her family when she is shooting ‘Glee’
The actress grew up in New York where all her family and boyfriend, ‘American Idiot’ actor Theo Stockman, live and admits she misses them like crazy when she is in Los Angeles filming the musical TV drama, in which she plays Rachel Berry.
She said: “My family is very, very important to me. My mother is Italian American. She’s a very strong woman – a good role model. My father’s side is Jewish. I’m an only child, but we’re the kind of family where every Sunday night, we have dinner with all 19 of my cousins. I miss home in New York so much. I miss my family, my boyfriend. It’s tough filming the show in Los Angeles. Sometimes that
makes me feel down.”
Although she misses her family, the 24-year-old star admits her parents Edith and Marc often come to visit her and she now has more space for them since she stopped sharing a house with her ‘Glee’ co-star Dianna Agron, who portrays Quinn Fabray.
She added in an interview with Britain’s Glamour magazine: “I used to share a place with Dianna Agron but now I have my own place. I live by myself, although my family is visiting me. I’m not a party animal, I have never been. I like to be at home and cook and catch up on old movies.”

‘Glee’ Singer — 2 Nervous
by Lisa on Jan.16, 2011, under Entertainment, updates
Adele was too nervous to meet the stars of ‘Glee’
The 22-year-old British singer is such a big fan of the US musical drama series, she couldn’t bring herself to meet with Amber Riley and Chris Colfer – who play Mercedes and Kurt – when they came to the UK.
She admitted: “I f***ing love ‘Glee’, love, love, love ‘Glee’.
“I was meant to meet Amber and Chris the last time they were in London but I kept saying I was too busy because I was so nervous.
“’Glee’ is a really important show actually. It’s funny, but it’s quite serious as well.”
While Adele is a big fan of the show, she is unlikely to want to make a guest appearance after being embarrassed by a previous cameo role in US comedy ‘Ugly Betty’.
She explained in an interview with Attitude magazine: “I was such a mug on that show. I wasn’t meant to say anything because you have to have an actor’s visa in America. I was meant to turn up and mime my song but I turned up and they gave me a script and I had to speak as part of the storyline.
“Because I was in America, I put on a fake English accent. I don’t know why! Everyone I know was taking the p**s out of me.
“Since then, I’ve had so many offers for other TV programmes or films, and I’m just like, ‘F**k off.’ ”

Mercedes Jones….”I don’t make resolutions”
by Abbey on Dec.31, 2010, under Actress
‘Glee’ star Amber Riley doesn’t make New Year’s resolutions
The actress – who plays Mercedes Jones in the musical drama series – prefers to act immediately if there is something in her life she wants to change.
She said: “I don’t make resolutions – why wait to do tomorrow what you can do today?”
The 24-year-old star is looking forward to 2011 and finishing the current series of ‘Glee’ – which follows the lives of the members of the show’s titular singing club.
She added: “In 2011 I just want to keep working on my dream and finish season two of ‘Glee’ with a bang!”
One storyline definitely confirmed for ‘Glee’ in the New Year is a cameo by Katie Couric.
The ‘CBS Evening News’ anchor will appear as herself in the series’ post-Superbowl episode, which will air on February 6.
Although her storyline is yet to be confirmed, Katie will appear in scenes with cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, who is played Jane Lynch.

Miley’s — 8 Teen Kiss ..?
by Abbey on Nov.23, 2010, under Actor, Actress, Artist, Birtday, Entertainment, Kisses, Singer, updates
Miley Cyrus kissed teen actor Avan Jogia during her 18th birthday party on Sunday night (21.11.10)
The singer-and-actress – whose actual birthday is today (23.11.10) – celebrated reaching the landmark age at Los Angeles nightclub Trousdale.
She headed straight to the nightspot after performing at the American Music Awards (AMAs) and was seen smooching the 18-year-old Canadian star – who appears in new Nickelodeon TV series ‘Victorious’, which follows the life of fictional aspiring singer Tori Vega and her days at performing arts high school Hollywood Arts.
Despite the embrace, it has been claimed that Miley and Avan are not dating.
A source told People: “They’re just hanging out. She’s still single. They have just hung out together a few times and are getting to know each other – that’s really it right now.”
The ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ hitmaker partied with her mother Tish, actress Demi Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher, Demi’s daughter Rumer Willis, Kelly Osbourne, actor-and-rapper Kyle Massey and ‘Glee’ stars Mark Salling and Chord Overstreet as DJ Cobra played music.
As well as getting a birthday kiss from Avan, Miley was also treated to a giant red velvet cake, Key lime pies, chocolate mousse and raspberry shot glasses and a dessert table, all provided by the Sweet & Saucy Shop.
The teen star – whose father Billy Ray Cyrus is currently divorcing her mother – has revealed she likes to celebrate her birthday for an entire month.
She said: “I have a birthday month. I do the whole month of November. Thanksgiving, cake – it’s all about me on Thanksgiving!”
Ryan Reynolds — Sexiest Man Alive
by Lisa on Nov.17, 2010, under Actor, Entertainment
Ryan Reynolds has been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine
The ‘Proposal’ actor – who is married to actress Scarlett Johansson, who was named Babe of the Year by GQ magazine this week – was awarded the title by the publication in their annual list and, although he expects to be teased by his family about the accolade, he is hoping to boast about the title to strangers.
He said: “You just have to go with the flow. This gives my family entre into teasing me for the rest of my life.
“Now it’s going to be, ‘Sexiest man, take out the garbage.’ That does sound better. The most difficult part is going to be organically working this title into a conversation with random strangers.”
While Ryan has been named Sexiest Man Alive, he admits he has to work hard to maintain his toned physique.
He joked to People: “My body naturally wants to look like Dick Van Dyke. When I stop training, I turn into a skin-coloured whisper.”
Other stars to feature in the list include ‘Mad Men’ actor John Hamm, ‘Twilight Saga’ hunk Kellan Lutz, actor-turned-rapper Drake and ‘Glee’ star Matthew Morrison, who made up the top five.
Making up the rest of the top 10 were Jon Bon Jovi, ‘True Blood’ star Joe Manganiello, Robert Downey Jr. and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Jesse Williams.
Meanwhile, the publication also ran a poll on social networking website Facebook, where fans voted Vin Diesel – who placed eleventh in the magazine’s own list – as their Sexiest Man Alive.
The 43-year-old actor took the title over Jersey Shore’s Paul ‘Pauly D’ DelVecchio and Enrique Iglesias, who polled second and third place respectively.
People will publish its full list of the Sexiest Men Alive in their next issue which hits newsstands on Friday (19.11.10).

Lea Michele — Fewer Colos On ‘Glee’
by Kavy on Oct.24, 2010, under Actress, Artist, Music, Singer, TV
Lea Michele is reportedly upset she is being given fewer solos on ‘Glee’
The 24-year-old actress – who plays uptight singer Rachel Berry in the musical TV show – is angry the second series has focused less on her and more on other characters.
A source said: “In the beginning, she was the biggest star. But some of the biggest episodes have taken attention away from her, like the Britney Spears show, which was all about Heather Morris (Brittany).
“She thinks that because she has a Broadway background, this show was made for her.”
Lea has allegedly been critical about some of the efforts of her co-stars – which include Amber Riley, Chris Colfer and Dianna Agron -leading to friction on set.
The source added to Britain’s Star magazine: “It’s not easy being around Lea on set. She has put several people’s backs up and it’s showing no sign of improving.”
Lea has previously admitted working on ‘Glee’ helped boost her self-confidence about her looks.
She said: “‘Glee’ has made me feel beautiful. It has shown me that I am beautiful, that I can be beautiful no matter what I look like, what my weight is.”

Matthew Morrison : Pay Rise — ‘Glee’
by Kavy on Oct.10, 2010, under Actor, Artist, Entertainment, Singer, TV
Matthew Morrison believes he should be paid more because his hair is “another character” in ‘Glee’
The 31-year-old actor – who plays teacher Mr. Schuester in the musical TV series – explained he gets so much attention for his hairstyle in the show that he thinks he should be given a pay rise by Fox bosses.
He said: “How do I feel about the jokes about my hair? It doesn’t bother me, but I do feel I should be paid more money because my hair is another character!
“As people once asked for a Rachel from ‘Friends’ haircut, perhaps they’ll soon be asking for a ‘Schuester!’”
The hunky actor admitted he has had to add a lot of hats to his wardrobe in order to avoid being recognised by the show’s enthusiastic fans.
Matthew added: “My anonymity has gone. I can’t walk five feet without being stopped for a picture. But you have to embrace it. You work this hard and hope for something like this to come along, so you can’t push it away when it happens.
“But I am buying a lot more hats now! I’m also walking around a lot in clear glasses – sunglasses make it look like you’re trying too hard!”

Britney Spears says her tribute episode of ‘Glee’ brought back many happy memories
The ‘Womanizer’ singer admits watching the special storyline, which aired in the US last night (28.09.10), took her on a trip down memory lane.

The 28-year-old pop star also joked she was terrified of actress Jane Lynch, who plays intimidating cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester.
Speaking about Jane, she joked: “Jane Lynch scares me.”
Britney then added: “Jane Lynch is hilarious and scary all rolled into one.”
The singer also praised Heather Morris – who plays ditzy cheerleader Brittany Pierce – for being able to dance with a snake like she did in to her song ‘I’m a Slave 4 U’ at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards.
She wrote: “Awww Heather Morris is sooo cute! Brittany S Pearce. Ha! She was so fun to work with and was really sweet in person.
“I know how hard it is to dance with that snake! Nice job. (sic)”
