Cheryl Cole’s British soldier wants to take her to dinner as soon as his tour of duty ends

Royal Marine Andy Baker – known as ‘Bagsy’ to his friends – met the Girls Aloud beauty when she travelled to Afghanistan on a morale boosting trip for troops earlier this month and after swapping phone numbers, Andy is now counting down the days until he leaves the country on October 1.

His brother-in-law Graham Peck is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Andy would love to take Cheryl out for dinner when he’s back in the UK.

“He thought she was lovely, really gorgeous – I think all the guys did.

“Andy contacted me through Facebook, raving about Cheryl and even made a photo of them his profile picture. They met up a couple of times during her trip and hit it off.”

Cheryl, 28, and 25-year-old Andy first met at an awards bash and met up again later during an informal barracks dinner but the soldier panicked when he heard Cheryl was planning to call him because he has no mobile phone connection until he leaves the country.

Graham added: “Andy wants her to know that he’ll be in touch the moment he lands and wants her to wait for him.”

After her trip to Helmand province Cheryl revealed she was so taken with the military hunk she is planning to call him and “see what happens”.

She said: “Not only are the soldiers incredibly brave, a few of them were also incredibly cute.

“I actually came back with a phone number from one lad … although I think his talking to me was a dare. He started chatting to me after I’d been shot at during a training exercise.

“Obviously it wasn’t real ammunition but it was still terrifying. Anyway I think I am going to call him this week and we’ll see what happens. I’m sure he’s not expecting me to ring but that’s why it’ll be funny and that’s why I’m going to do it.”

David Beckham cuts his own hair

The soccer ace has sported a number of daring hairstyles during his career, including a Mohawk, and a shaved head, but insists he doesn’t spend a great deal of money on his hairstyles, and always makes a spur of the moment decision on whether change his locks.

He told GQ magazine: “People try to read too much into it. Over the years they’ve said I’ve spent £2,000 on a hairstyle, which I’ve never done. Either a friend has cut it or I do it myself.

“Sometimes, I wake up and I’m bored of it, I want to shave it off. It literally is a spur of the moment decision. And I don’t think of anything apart from whether I am happy with it.”

The 36-year-old hunk – who is married to fashion designer Victoria Beckham, with whom he has four children – is currently happy with a quiffed hairstyle, and although he could change it any moment, he insists there are certain styles he will not revisit.

He added: “I’m getting older so I can’t pull off the Mohawk or the ponytail anymore. The way I’ve got it at the moment, my wife likes it, my kids like it, so I’m happy with it. But that could all change in the morning.”

Alyssa Milano has given birth to a baby boy

The 38-year-old actress and her husband, Hollywood agent David Bugliari, welcomed their first child into the world this morning (31.08.11).

The tot weighed 7lb and the overjoyed couple have named their new arrival Milo Thomas Bugliari.

The ‘Charmed’ star’s representative said: “Alyssa and her husband David proudly announce the birth of their son, Milo Thomas Bugliari. Milo Thomas was born on August 31 at 9.27am weighing 7 pounds and was 19 inches long.”

Alyssa, 38, took to her twitter account to share her joyous news and also thanked her followers for their congratulatory messages.

She wrote: “Thank you for all the well wishes for my son Milo. My heart has tripled in size. I love him more than all the leaves on all the trees.”

Alyssa – who married David in August 2009 – knew she was having a son throughout the later stages of her pregnancy but was refusing to pick a name for her baby until she met him.

She previously said: “We have three names. You hear so many stories about people who picked a name out and then the baby didn’t look like the name. So we’re narrowing it down until we see the child. However, we will go with a slightly Italian name, so that it goes with Bugliari.”

Brad Pitt saved a woman on the set of ‘World War Z’ from being trampled

The 47-year-old actor was shooting battle scenes for the horror apocalypse movie in Glasgow, Scotland, with 700 extras when the actress fell to the ground in the melee.

Quick-thinking Brad scooped her up in his arms and put her back on her feet before she faced the risk of getting badly injured.

A source told the Scottish Sun newspaper: “Lots of people hurt themselves and Brad came to the rescue of one woman who slipped. I don’t think she could believe it when Brad picked her up.

“He didn’t have time to speak to her as it was mid-shoot. But she said afterwards how grateful she was, despite having a grazed knee.”

Although the actress had her very own Hollywood hero to save her, many of the other extras weren’t so lucky and were left with injuries following the dangerous battle scene.

The source added: “Loads of extras suffered bumps and scrapes. One extra playing a soldier was even hit by a moving car and ended up on the vehicle’s bonnet, but fortunately he escaped unhurt.”

Brad has been in Scotland for the past few weeks filming scenes for the movie, and he and his family – partner Angelina Jolie and their six children, Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – have been staying at a rented 16th century mansion in the Ayrshire hills.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have been named the world’s highest-earning couple

The supermodel and her NFL player husband earned a staggering $76 million between them during the period May 2010-2011, with the Brazilian beauty’s fashion career, endorsements and business deals bringing in a $45 million share of their joint income.

According to Forbes magazine, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z earned just $4 million less in the same period, with the ‘Run the World (Girls)’ hitmaker bringing in $35 million from her record sales and endorsement deals and her spouse generating $37 million through his contract with Live Nation, a stake in the New Jersey Nets, his 40/40 Club chain and ad firm Translation.

Placed third were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who earned $50 million after the actor brought in $20 million and his partner – with who he raises six children – earning the additional $30 million.

Kim Kardashian has married Kris Humphries

The reality TV star tied the knot with the basketball player in a ceremony in Montecito, California, yesterday evening (20.08.11), witnessed by 440 family and friends.

Kim, 30, wore an ivory Vera Wang gown and was given away by her stepfather, Bruce Jenner. She walked down the aisle carrying a bouquet of white roses with her hair up and her veil off her face.

The wedding ceremony reportedly lasted half an hour and saw Kim and Kris – dressed in an Ermenegildo Zegna tuxedo with a white jacket and tie – exchange wedding rings made by Lorraine Schwartz, the same designer behind Kim’s engagement ring.

During the traditional Christian service, officiated by pastor Joel Johnson, tributes were paid to Kris’ late grandmother and grandfather, as well as to Kim’s late father, lawyer Robert Kardashian. Kim told the crowd: “I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle. But I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me. I love and miss you, dad.”

The 30-year-old bride’s sisters Khloe and Kourtney were maids of honour, and Kourtney’s son Mason acted as ring bearer. Her mother, Kris Jenner, had earlier in the day helped Kim prepare for the wedding and also wore a white Vera Wang dress to the ceremony. She also posted a tribute to her daughter on her website, which said: “Kimberly, I still remember you as a little girl playing dress up in my closet like it was yesterday! I can’t believe the time has flown by so fast.

“You will always be my little princess angel, and you are going to make the most amazing wife. You are truly blessed. I love you with all

Lea Michele’s favourite meal is vegan lasagne

The ‘Glee’ star has been a vegan for a few years and although she is proud of her beliefs on animal rights she admits she missed eating the mdelicious pasta dish – which is made from layers of pasta, ground beef, cheese and tomato sauce – when she first made the lifestyle switch.

But luckily her mother showed her how to recreate the meal without the animal unfriendly products. Lea – who plays Rachel Berry in the musical TV series – said: “I’m a vegan for many reasons, one being my love of animals. I’m an activemember of PETA and I don’t wear fur. I’ve also found sticking to a meat-free diet has given me more energy. My favourite dish has always been lasagne and my mum taught me how to make the vegan version by swapping the beef and cheese for soy and tofu.”

The 24-year-old actress has always been adamant her meat-free diet is great for keeping in shape and staying healthy. She previously said: “I believe that what we put into our bodies is important. I became a vegan when I moved to California. I eat a lot, but really well. Every morning, I make a tofu scramble with soy cheese; lunch and dinner is usually a salad, with lots of vegetables, and pasta. I love to cook.”

Kellan Lutz refused to audition for the role of ‘Twilight’s Edward Cullen because the character is “too depressing”

The hunky actor – who plays Edward’s adopted brother Emmett in the vampire franchise – revealed he was originally asked to try out for the part which eventually went to Robert Pattinson but he turned it down because he wanted a part that made him “smile”.

Kellan explained to JustJared: “I didn’t want to do it. I spent so much time filming in Africa before that, seven months, and that’s a long time to be away from your family and dogs. My agent wanted me to read for Edward and I read the script and thought that character was too depressing for me right now, I want to do something where I smile. I wanted to take a break from acting and I said that, I turned it down, I turned down the audition a couple of times.”

However, Kellan’s agent insisted the film would be career changing and convinced him to audition for the role of big brother Emmett, who Kellan loved for his “comedic” characteristics.

Kellan said: “Ryan, my agent at the time really knew it was going to be a special project so he told me to read the role of Emmett, and I read it, it was only about four lines, but he was the big brother, the comedic relief and I fell in love with him. I said ‘Sure, I would love to play this type of role’. I auditioned, and long story short, here I am finishing the saga and Emmett is going to be in my heart forever.”

The actress has starred with the heartthrob actor in two movies and insists he is always a pleasure to work with as he hasn’t let his fame and sex symbol status make him arrogant.

She said: “I know actors always say this about each other but he really is lovely. I worked with him on ‘Brokeback Mountain’ and then five years later on ‘Love and Other Drugs’; he was a great guy then and still is. He’s a real person.

“That’s a weird compliment, but someone’s as good looking as he is, with as much adoration from such a young age, they could easily be a nightmare, or stuck-up jerk. But he’s a good guy.”

The 28-year-old screen star has a great deal of respect for Helena Bonham Carter and her partner, director Tim Burton, for the way they live their lives and their approaches to movie making.

The actress – who began dating the actor earlier this year – was introduced to Justin’s documentarian cousin Louis Theroux at exclusive London venue Shoreditch House on Wednesday (20.07.11), following the UK premiere of her new film ‘Horrible Bosses’.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: “Louis obviously approved of Jennifer. It looked like they were having a great time, and they all seemed instantly at ease with each other. Justin looked proud of Jen and seemed quite manly and protective.”

The trio enjoyed dinner and drinks and another onlooker said the former ‘Friends’ star “was really chilled out and seemed blissfully happy”.

Louis is best known for his Gonzo style journalism on the British television series ‘Louis Theroux’s Weird Weekends’ and ‘When Louis Met…’.

Things seem to be getting serious between Jennifer and Justin as the couple are reported to be house-hunting together and have been looking around several Beverly Hills homes.

Cheryl Cole is reportedly thinking of starting a new life in Spain

The ‘Parachute’ hitmaker is said to be “hugely intrigued” by a suggestion from her ex-husband Ashley Cole – who was dumped by the Girls Aloud beauty after revelations he cheated on her during their four-year marriage – that he moves to play for a European soccer team and she joins him for a more relaxed pace of life.

A source said: “Ashley has told friends he sees his future abroad and he wants to persuade Cheryl to come with him.

“It all boils down to what Cheryl wants, but the early signs are she would be up for the idea.

“She’s found living in the UK to be fraught especially with so much ‘negativity’ towards her now.

“But abroad, she could lead her life at her own pace. That’s appealing to say the least.”

Ashley is also said to be planning to buy new rings for himself and Cheryl – who was sensationally sacked from the US ‘X Factor’ after just a few weeks – to signify a “new start” if she agrees to his plans.

Kim Kardashian is planning a “wedding slim down”

The 30-year-old socialite – who will marry basketball star Kris Humphries later this summer – revealed she will start using weight loss supplement QuickTrim again, on which she has previously lost 15lbs, in order to get in shape for her nuptials.

When one of Kim’s twitter followers tweeted her yesterday (20.06.11) saying, “On my way to GNC to buy some quicktrim”, Kim responded by writing, “Take some for me! I’m about to start again! Wedding slimdown (sic)”

Kim has also been beautifying herself ahead of the big day by using at home skin care and hair removal treatments from TRIA Beauty.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette are back together – to work on a new game show

The estranged married couple – who announced a trial separation last year – have jointly sold a pilot called ‘Identity Crisis’ to CBS.

The programme requires contestants to identify celebrities based on a number of clues and is based on a board game.

Courteney and David are acting as executive producers on the show and if the pilot is well received then a full series will be commissioned.

The game show is the third TV project the pair have worked on together, following ‘Dirt’ and ‘Cougar Town’ – both of which starred the former ‘Friends’ actress and were produced by their company Coquette Productions.

Although they have maintained a working relationship and have remained on good terms since their split, David recently admitted he is unsure if he and Courteney will ever reconcile.

The 39-year-old actor – who has a six-year-old daughter Coco with the 46-year-old screen star – said: “I really don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s up in the air. But we really love each other and we’re great parents together and we have a business together. We’re both figuring out a lot about our lives at the moment and our personalities and what we need to feel more complete.”

Lady Gaga has sent Kate Moss an accordion as a wedding present

The ‘Judas’ hitmaker and the supermodel – who is set to wed The Kills frontman Jamie Hince on July 1 – discussed how much they love the musical instrument when they met in May after Gaga performed at London’s Annabel’s club, and so the 25-year-old singer sent her new friend the unusual gift because she can’t make the British beauty’s forthcoming nuptials.

Justin Timberlake’s sex scenes with Mila Kunis in ‘Friends With Benefits’ were “awkward”

The Hollywood heartthrob and the brunette beauty play lovers in the upcoming comedy movie, and Justin admits it wasn’t easy getting romantic in front of the cameras with Mila.

He said: “I’d be lying if I said filming the sex scenes wasn’t completely awkward … The producers and I agreed we would shoot a big chunk of the movie before we got down to the sex scenes, which was a good idea. That allowed Mila and me time to get comfortable. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to go all out for this.”

It had been predicted that his scenes in ‘Friends With Benefits’ – which focuses on two professionals who agree to have a sexual relationship with no strings attached – wouldn’t be the only awkward moments on a film set for Justin.

He stars with his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz in new movie ‘Bad Teacher’, which see’s the actress’ character Elizabeth Halsey romantically pursue Justin’s alter-ego Scott Delacorte, but he insists things were fine between them on set.

The singer-turned-actor – who dated the blonde beauty for almost four years until December 2006 – told Playboy magazine: “It sounds complicated to everybody else, but it wasn’t to us … We don’t talk to each other all the time, but we respect each other, and on some level we’ll always love each other – but in our new capacity as friends. Patrick Dempsey says the current season of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ will be “his last”.

The 45-year-old actor, who has played Dr. Derek Shepherd in the US medical drama since 2005, says he has no plans to continue with the role once season eight ends but admits his departure at the end of his current contract will be “bittersweet”.

He told Italy’s Vanity Fair magazine: “It’s gonna be my last. I do not know what’s going to happen to the other characters, but for me it’s done.

“[Leaving will be] bittersweet because it’s been a great part of my life. But I can’t see me doing it anymore.”

Patrick – whose hunky character is nicknamed ‘McDreamy’ by fans of the show – also plans to distance himself from romantic comedies after becoming known for films such as ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ and ‘Made of Honour’ because he would rather take on more action roles.

He continued: “No more romantic comedies, that’s for sure. I’m not the right age and in any case, I do not care, I do not feel at ease. I am more interested in action films.”

After the star revealed he is leaving ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, his publicist denied it was a definite decision but admitted his contract will soon come to an end.

The representative said: “He was referring to the fact that his contract is up at the end of next season and we have no idea what the future holds.”

Meanwhile, Ellen Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey on the show, has revealed that her contract will also finish at the end of next season and it is unlikely she will renew it.

Dr. Drew — Conaway Did NOT Die From an Overdose

Despite widespread reports, “Grease” star Jeff Conaway did NOT die from a drug overdose — but rather his body gave out after long-term prescription drug abuse … this according to Dr. Drew.

Drew — who treated Conaway on “Celebrity Rehab” — tells us there is no evidence showing Jeff died from an overdose … saying, “This was aspiration with overwhelming pneumonia and sepsis.”

Drew tells us Jeff’s condition was inevitable because the actor had been a serious pill popper for years and the constant substance abuse wore down his body.

Drew explains, “Jeff is another pharmaceutical death from the overutilization of prescription drugs. Please continue to pray for friends and family. They appreciate your support.”

‘Grease’ Star’s Ex — I Will Fight Restraining Order!

Jeff Conaway’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Vikki Lizzi believes the actors’ family had NO RIGHT to ban her from visiting Jeff in the hospital after he fell into a coma earlier this month … and now she’s begging a judge to rip up the restraining order.

Vikki’s best friend, Aubry Fisher, tells us the family members who blocked Vikki on Jeff’s behalf last week don’t have his best interests in mind because they refused to help him conquer his addictions in the past.

Conaway has been in a comatose state for weeks — after he reportedly overdosed in his L.A. area home earlier this month.

Aubry says Vikki’s lawyers are going to court today to try and lift the restraining order so that she can be by Jeff’s side, adding, “Vikki just wants to take care of him, she would never hurt him in any way.”

Maria Shriver’s People Leaked Arnold Baby Story

The Arnold Schwarzenegger baby drama story was leaked to the media by Maria Shriver’s own people … and they did it because Maria was so angry at Arnold, she wanted to do it herself.

TMZ has new information from sources connected to Maria.  We’re told when Maria found out that Arnold was the father of Mildred Patty Baena’s son, she was “hysterical” and wanted to hold a news conference blowing the lid off the scandal.

We’re told Maria’s friends talked her off a ledge and a plan was eventually hatched to leak the details to the L.A. Times and TMZ.

And we have new information about when Maria found out about the baby.  Now we’re told Maria learned about Arnold’s love child in late April or very early May.

The timeline further supports the story TMZ broke earlier — that Maria was miserable in her marriage and wanted out for a long time.  As we first reported, Maria was looking at pricey L.A. condos back in January with a Beverly Hillls realtor.

Maria has told friends for nearly two years she wanted a divorce but never pulled the trigger.   Maria, we’re told, is now ready to end the marriage.

As for Arnold, our sources say he’s upset Maria was talking to her friends about the scandal.  Arnold and his people know the story leaked through Maria’s camp.

‘Basketball Wives’ — Chris Bosh Boxes Out Baby Mama

“Basketball Wives” star Royce Reed just dodged a BULLET — because we’re told, she would-be replacement on the show just got axed from negotiations … all thanks to Miami Heat star Chris Bosh.

Sources close to the VH1 reality show tell TMZ, Chris was pissed when he heard “Wives” producers were in talks with his baby mama Allison Mathis — the front runner to replace Royce next season — and the NBA star quickly put the ki-Bosh on the whole operation.

According to sources, Chris was determined to prevent his baby mama from blabbing about him and their daughter on TV — and “Wives” producers decided Allison just wasn’t worth the headache.

Sources tell us, with Allison out … Royce will probably stay on — but producers are still holding out for a miracle last-minute replacement.

M. Night Shyamalan being in the running to be crowned Worst Director and it will also challenge ‘Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore’, ‘Clash of the Titans’, ‘The Nutcracker in 3D’ and ‘Saw 3D’ for new prize the Worst Eye-Gouging Misuse of 3-D.

The category has been created to reflect Hollywood’s current obsession to make movies in 3-D following the success of ‘Avatar’.

The other nominees for the night’s most unwanted accolade Worst Picture are ‘The Bounty Hunter’ – which starred Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler – ‘Sex and the City 2’ and ‘Vampires Suck’, which was a spoof of the ‘Twilight’ films.

Speaking about the amount of gongs ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ is up for, Razzies founder John Wilson said: “I know people who are into ‘Twilight’ who take it totally seriously and they’re very vociferous. Those of us who are not ‘Twi-hards’, we don’t get it. I don’t actually know any teenage girls who have had to make the choice between a werewolf and a vampire.”

Other nominees include Cher who is up for the Worst Supporting Actress statuette for her performance in ‘Burlesque’, Billy Ray Cyrus who is in the running for the Worst Supporting Actor gong for his appearance in ‘The Spy Next Door’ and Sylvester Stallone who could be crowned Worst Director for his film ‘The Expendables’.

The Golden Raspberry Awards – which is the Razzies’ full title – nominations were announced today (24.01.11) and the winners will be revealed on February 26 the night before the Oscars ceremony.

David Beckham is well on his way to having his very own family soccer team

The Beckham’s reps have confirmed People’s report that the soccer star and his wife are expecting their fourth child this summer.

The new little Beckham will join brothers Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5. David, 35, and Victoria, 36, have been married for 11 years.
