The actress and husband Tom Cruise – with whom she has five-year-old daughter, Suri – will celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary later
this year and the brunette beauty is “proud” to be part of such a high-profile union.

She said: “It will be five years in November and our relationship is great. “My husband has made incredible movies that have impacted the world and therefore I’m a part of that now. I’m proud of it and it’s OK.”

Despite their worldwide fame, Katie insists she and Tom prefer low-key activities out of the spotlight. She said: “We like to play a version of Scrabble called Take Two, where you don’t use the board, just the pieces.” Katie admitted the attention she receives in public can sometimes be problematic, but she has learned ways of coping.

She explained to Britain’s Hello! magazine: “Some days you can go straight to Starbucks without being bothered and some days you have to switch cars and it’s something that becomes a part of your day. “You kind of figure out how to go with it or fight it. I am still a kid from Ohio, but this is a part of my life now.”

Sofia Coppola has married Thomas Mars

The ‘Lost in Translation’ director was wearing a custom-made lavender bridal gown as she tied the knot with the musician in Italy yesterday (27.08.11) on her dad Francis Ford Coppola’s estate in Bernalda in front of around 80 guests, including Johnny Depp and George Lucas.

Village mayor Leonardo Chiruzzi, who performed the ceremony, explained the occasion “went well”.

He said: “Everything went well. It was simple, calm, in the garden. If they wanted to do a Hollywood wedding, they wouldn’t have done it here. They chose to do it here because it’s here – it’s here that is beautiful.”

‘Godfather’ director Francis was previously said to be renovating his property for the nuptials, with the ceremony set to mark the end of his rebuilding.

His great-nephew Gaetano Russo explained: “The ceremony will mark the end of renovations at the palace, which will soon be inaugurated as a resort, open to the public.”

Sophia – who has two children, Roma, four, and 15-month-old Cosima with Thomas – used to be married to ‘Being John Malkovich’ helmer Spike Jonze between 1999 and 2003.

The reality TV star will marry basketball player Kris Humphries in a lavish ceremony in Montecito, California, today, and while planning the huge event has been stressful, she has is finally over her nerves about the nuptials.

Speaking to Radio host Ryan Seacrest on his KISS FM radio show, Kim said: “I think I had my freak-out moment a week ago. “From Kris’s dogs in my space to his shirts on the floor to going over budget to everything you could possibly think of.
“I mean, it’s ridiculous issues that I guess everyone goes through.

Planning a wedding is so much work. I had no idea.” Kim, 30, also added how much she is looking forward to settling down,
and how she knew right away Kris was the right guy for her. She said: “When you know you know. We’re having so much fun we just get along so well, he just lets me be me. And we have such a good relationship. It’s such a normal, healthy, trusting, easy relationship.”

Kim spent her last night as a free woman relaxing with her family, and playing with her 18-month-old nephew, Mason. Her mother, Kris Jenner, has also urged her to “remember everything” about her special day.
She told Life & Style magazine: “I want her to enjoy every moment and take mental snapshots and just try to remember everything because it goes by so fast.

“You know it’s going to be over in the blink of an eye, and I just want her to remember every single second. “The good news is we have a camera crew there to capture the whole thing in case she forgets anything.”

Kristen Stewart doesn’t believe in marriage

The ‘Twilight’ actress – who is dating co-star Robert Pattinson – admitted she has no plans to walk down the aisle, unlike her character in the movie series, because she doesn’t see the need for such a commitment to be marked by signing official documents.

When asked if she “believes” in marriage, she told German magazine TVMovie: “I like the thought of two people staying together for the rest of their lives. For me, however, this doesn’t need to be sealed with signatures.”

Her alter-ego Bella is set to tie the knot with Robert’s character Edward in film ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1′ – which is set to be released later this year – and the 21-year-old beauty explained she “loves” the wedding dress she has to wear for the marriage scenes.

She added: “I love it! It’s old-fashioned, but that’s exactly what I like.”

Robert recently gave Kristen – who is a fan of vintage jewellery – a $40,000 antique gold and platinum locket with a personalised inscription, which reportedly reads: “Even if you can’t see me, my love for you is always there.”

Queen Elizabeth’s eldest granddaughter tied the knot with the England rugby player at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland, in a private ceremony this afternoon (30.07.11).

The 30-year-old blonde – daughter of Princess Anne and her ex-husband Mark Phillips – looked stunning in a beautiful ivory gown by Stewart Parvin as she arrived at the venue with her father.

Following the service, Zara and Mike – who have been dating for around seven years – posed for photographers outside the church, kissing to the cheers from the excited well-wishers, who had lined the streets in order to catch a glimpse of them.

Guests at the wedding included the queen and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and fellow royal newlyweds, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who married in April.

Singer Una Healey, TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher and actress Katherine Kelly were also in attendance.

The reception will take place at nearby Palace of Holyroodhouse.

The ‘Ugly Betty’ star tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend last night (27.05.11) in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and castmates from the show, which ended last year.

The happy couple wed at America’s former co-star, Vanessa Williams’ house in Chappaqua, upstate New York. A source told People magazine: “It was an intimate setting amongst close friends and family. “The bride wore a dress by Amsale’s Christos label and Fred Leighton earrings.”

America, 27, met Ryan at the University of Southern California when he cast her in a student film. Ryan, who runs a production company, proposed last June and America first showed off her diamond topped engagement ring at the Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland later that month.

Shortly after their engagement, America said of their relationship: “We kind of connected from the get-go on that professional level and that was something that really drew us to each other. A shared passion for what we do and our work.”

The wedding ceremony was officiated by ‘Ugly Betty’ cast member Judith Light, and plenty of other stars were in attendance including Rebecca Romijn, her husband Jerry O’Connell, and America’s co-stars from the film ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’, Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, and Blake Lively.

Kate Moss has changed her wedding date to July 1.

The British model – who had originally planned to marry rocker Jamie Hince on July 2 – has left her 300 guests confused with a cryptic invitation that gave no reason why the nuptials have been changed, or whether her plans for a “festival” to celebrate her marriage will still go ahead.

A guest revealed: “I received a piece of white card with silver writing on it. It read, ‘Kate Moss and Jamie Hince will be marrying pm Friday July 1. Save the date’.

“The date has shifted from Saturday the 2nd but there’s no information about where the wedding is, how many days, nights, etc. Kate’s doing her usual secret mission stuff but it’s not so funny when the wedding’s just four weeks away.”

While the nuptials were believed to being held in a church near the 37-year-old beauty’s home in Oxfordshire, South East England, Kate’s sudden change of plans has thrown her guests into panic about what will actually be happening.

The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: “It’s very confusing. We have no idea how long to block out our time or where in the country we’ll be. We don’t know whether that’s the church or the party, whether we need to travel, or what’s going on.

Caleb Followill has got married.

The Kings of Leon rocker tied the knot with Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge in an intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara, California last night (12.05.11).

Speaking after the ceremony, Lily – who wore a Vera Wang gown – told JustJared.com: “Caleb is the man of my dreams. And you can quote me on that.”

Guests at the small ceremony included Caleb’s bandmates, his cousin Matthew Followill – who recently became a father for the first time – and brothers Nathan and Jared Followill.

While Caleb and Lily had a small wedding, Nathan and Jared recently promised to throw their brother a big party afterwards.

Jared said: “It’s going to be a very small wedding and then a big party. I think there are only like maybe 25 people or so going to the wedding, but a lot of people will be at the party.”

Nathan added: “I’m the best man and they’re having lemon custard for their wedding cake.”

Lily has previously revealed the pair are having a traditional wedding ceremony, although it was not what she wanted at first.

Prince William’s father joked about his bald patch at his wedding reception yesterday (29.04.11)

Prince Charles made a speech in which he also paid tribute to William’s bride, Kate Middleton – now the Duchess of Cambridge – welcoming her into the family.

Kate’s ex-school headmaster Dr Bob Acheson told The Sun newspaper: “He said he was very lucky to have a daughter-in-law like Kate.” Also as part of the speech, Charles – who himself has a prominent bald patch – made jokes at his son’s expense.

One guest recalled: “He joked about his own bald patch and his son’s thinning hair, saying it must be hereditary. “Everyone found it funny, even William and Kate.” The most eagerly awaited speech of the day, however, was that delivered by the best man, William’s brother, Prince Harry, who is well known among the royal family for his sense of humour.

A wedding guest and friend of the 26-year-old royal told website US Weekly: “Harry was brilliant. We all wished he could have just carried on. It was perfect. “But he was the model brother and said all the things he needed to say. It was perfect. He was a dude.”

The reception was held at London’s Buckingham Palace after the couple’s wedding at nearby Westminster Abbey, and saw some 300 guests enjoy both an eight-tier wedding cake and a chocolate biscuit cake – a
favourite of William’s prepared at his special request – then party until the early hours of this morning (30.04.11).

Prince William and Kate Middleton have got married

The couple – who will now be known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – exchanged their vows in front of the Archbishop of Canterbury and hundreds of family members, visiting dignitaries and invited guests shortly after 11am this morning (29.04.11).

As expected, Kate did not promise to “obey” her husband when she said her vows, but contrary to some rumours, the pair exchanged traditional sentiments, rather than penning their own verses.

According to a lipreading expert, William cracked a joke with Kate’s father Michael Middleton when they arrived at the alter, saying: “We’re supposed to have just a small family affair.”

After the ceremony, the congregation sang ‘Love Divine All Love’s Excelling’, before the bride’s brother James Middleton gave a reading from Romans 12, 1, 2 and 9-18.

The choir then led the congregation in singing ‘This Is The Day’, which was specially composed for the occasion by John Rutter and comprising different psalms from the Bible.

The Right Reverend and Right Honourable Dr. Richard Chartres, Lord Bishop of London and Dean of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal then addressed the couple in a 10 minute speech, before the choir sang another hymn, ‘Ubi Carita Et Amor’.

Prayers were then said, followed by a rendition of ‘Jerusalem’ before the ceremony ended with the National Anthem and the couple signed the three registers.

Kate Middleton’s wedding dress was designed by Sarah Burton.

The Alexander McQueen designer created the ivory gown with lace applique floral detailing and a 2.7 metre train, as well as the bridesmaid dress worn by the bride’s sister Pippa Middleton, and Kate’s ivory duchesse satin and lace shoes.

The skirt was handmade by the royal school of needlework at Hampton Court.

The lace design was hand-engineered using Carickmacross lace making techniques developed in Ireland in the 1820s.

The individual flowers – thistles, roses, daffodils and shamrocks – were hand-cut from Chantilly lace and engineered onto ivory silk tulle.

Kate wore a diamond Cartier tiara – loaned by Queen Elizabeth – and long veil with her hair pinned up at the front, flowing into soft curls at the back.

Her earrings, diamond-set stylised oak leaves designed by Robinson Pelham, were a gift from parents Michael and Carole.

The bride-to-be kept hr flowing gown virtually hidden as she made her way to Westminster Abbey, with only parts of her flowing train visible as she and her father Michael Middleton got into their car to travel to her wedding.

William’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth wore an Angela Kelly primrose dress with hand-sewn beading and matching hait, accessorised with Queen Mary’s true lovers knot brooch.

Kate’s mother Carole Middleton was a hit in the fashion stakes, wearing a Catherine Walker-designed sky blue wool crepe coat dress with satin piping and Jane Corbett hat.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall teamed her Anne Valentine champagne blue silk dress and hand-embroidered coat with an eye-catching Philip Treacy hat and bronze Jimmy Choo shoes.

In total, the milliner designed hats for 35 members of the royal families, including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Queen Anna-Marie of Greece and Princess Mathilde of Belgium.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Kate has the last-minute jitters and just wants the day to arrive. It’s hardly surprising considering the stage she is going to be on – with the eyes of the world on her.

“But her nerves have manifested in an interesting way. A recurring dream she hadn’t had for years has raised its head again.

“She finds herself in front of the congregation and then becomes suddenly aware she is completely naked. There is a deathly silence – and everyone from Queen Elizabeth to Prince Philip is starting at her.

“Kate has joked the worst bit is she can’t work out which parts to cover.”

Meanwhile, after spending last weekend together at the home of Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton in Bucklebury, Berkshire, South East England, a nervous William and Kate will now spend their last days as singletons apart.

Russell Brand’s marriage to Katy Perry is “ordinary”.

The British comedian insists the pair – who married in October 2010 after dating for just a year – are no different from any other couple and argue about simple things.

He said: “It’s nice to be married to Katy Perry but you’d be surprised how ordinary the marriage is.

“The other day I was wearing a shirt and she said, ‘Are you wearing that shirt out?’ And it was not a proper question, it was like she meant, ‘Get it off’. And I had to take it off.”

However, despite their petty arguments, the former womaniser – who has a history of drug addiction – insists he loves the “normality” of their squabbles and wouldn’t swap his marriage to return to his single days.

The couple flew out together on Christmas Day (25.12.10) and won’t return until later this month as they are determined to make the marriage work.

The pal added: “The fact that they have jetted away shows their commitment to making it work. They haven’t done it to get some glitzy deal. They have done it because they both need to do some hard talking.”

A guy who lives near the mansion where Twain tied the knot tells TMZ he stumbled upon the nuptials at the beach … and was quickly shooed away by several armed security guards.

In the video you can see an a guard with a pistol tucked in his belt roaming back and forth while the ceremony goes on behind him.

We’re told the security was so tight, if you wanted to walk past the wedding… you had to go into the ocean to get around.

The British comic married singer Katy Perry in India in October and claims wearing the symbolic jewellery could lead to more problems than the marriage itself.

He said: “It’s weird to wear a wedding ring because when I wash my hands, I’m scared I’ll leave it by the sink.

“So basically the wearing of the ring is fraught with potential pitfalls, if not the marriage it signifies.”

The pair met on the set of ‘Black Swan’ last year, in which Natalie portrays a troubled ballet dancer and Benjamin – who is classically trained and studied at the School of American Ballet as a teenager – was one of her choreographers on set.

The couple have kept their relationship out of the public eye, and did not even pose together on the red carpet at the film’s premiere, but 32-year-old Benjamin – who was born in France – has revealed he was “blown away” by Natalie’s acting ability and insists she was “amazing to watch”.

Natalie, 29, trained for up to eight hours a day for her role as the character Nina in ‘Black Swan’ and claims living the “monastic” life of a ballet dancer helped her get into the right mindset for the role.

She explained: “You are constantly putting your body through extreme pain, so you get that understanding of the self-flagellation of a ballet dancer.”

Israeli-American Natalie has also previously said she would like to raise her children in the Jewish faith.

She said: “A priority for me is definitely that I’d like to raise my kids Jewish, but the ultimate thing is to have someone who is a good person and a partner.”

Ginnifer Goodwin has got engaged.

The ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ star – who has been dating actor Joey Kern for almost two years – told friends of plans to wed earlier in the month, and her representative has since confirmed the happy news.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: “Yup, it’s definitely true! Joey emailed all his friends back on the 12th and gave them the good news.”

The 32-year-old actress – who previously dated ‘American Pie’ actor Chris Klein – recently admitted she is at her happiest and most productive in her career when she is in love.

She said: “I’m a better person in a relationship, and I’m a happier person. I need to come home at the end of the day and have it not be about me and my hair and make-up.

“And I think my work is more inspired when home is safe and sound and solid because what I do for a living is so bananas and so insecure.”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden tied the knot in a lavish ceremony last night (11.12.10)

The couple – who have been dating for four years and have two children, Harlow, two, and 15-month-old Sparrow, together – said their vows in front of 130 close friends and family at Nicole’s father Lionel Richie’s vast Beverly Hills estate.

With Joel’s twin brother and fellow Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden reportedly assuming the role of best man, it is believed one particularly unusual guest was in attendance at the nuptials.

According to gossip website Radar Online, a trained elephant named Tai was spotted being led into the estate prior to the wedding.

Meanwhile, DJ Samantha Ronson was bridesmaid, while several high-profile close friends, including Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Kris Jenner and music legend Quincy Jones – who is also Nicole’s godfather – also saw the couple marry.

However, the 29-year-old star’s former best friend Paris Hilton – with whom she famously had a well-documented spat in 2005 – was reportedly nowhere to be seen at the nuptials.

Nicole – who is believed to have worn a custom-made Marchesa gown – was said to be keen to ensure her wedding was only attended by the couple’s “closest friends and family”.

An insider told People magazine: “They wanted an Old Hollywood, glamourous feel to their wedding. They went all-out with the decor. Nicole wanted a memorable, elegant affair for only their closest friends and family on their special day.”
