Colin Farrell thinks kissing scenes are “great”

The ‘Fright Night’ actor loves getting the chance to lock lips with his female co-stars, though he admits the experience can be “strange”. He said: “It’s always strange to kiss someone when you know they’re getting paid to kiss you back. That’s the most simple, mathematical way to put it.

“But it’s part of the gig and at the same time, kissing is lovely. So any time I get to kiss someone, that’s great.” While he enjoys kissing in films, Colin admits it can be “uncomfortable” getting any closer on screen, and he relies on humour to get through sex scenes.

He said: “When the clothes start coming off, though, that’s when it can get a bit uncomfortable. And then what do you fall back on? Humour. “That’s what we do as human beings don’t we? We laugh, we joke, we try to poke fun at an embarrassing situation. But there’s never been a bad day at the office.”

Prince William asked Kate Middleton if their first public kiss as a married couple was “OK”

The newlyweds – now titled the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace in London yesterday afternoon (29.04.11) and shared two kisses, to the cheers of crowds below and delight of a worldwide TV audience estimated at two billion.

As he turned to his new wife for their first kiss, William, 28, said: “Kate, shall we? Shall we kiss. Come on, OK? The kiss.” According to The Sun newspaper, after they briefly touched lips William stood back, smiled and asked her: “That OK?”

Two minutes after their first smooch, William responded to chants from the crowd assembled below of “kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss,” by asking his bride: “Do you want this? Takes a bit of getting used to.

“Another kiss! One more? Let’s give them another one. I love you. One more kiss – go on, come here.” The couple lingered longer for their second kiss, which lasted 1.25 seconds, before Kate, 29, pulled away with a huge smile on her face for the assembled crowd which lined The Mall below.

William is then said to have called time on their public displays of affection, saying: “That’s it. No more, no more, I’m embarrassed.” The young royal couple had earlier been married at nearby Westminster Abbey and were joined on the balcony by their bridal party and respective families – including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton to watch a fly by of Royal Air Force (RAF) jets.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were “constantly touching and kissing” on a night out on Friday (07.01.11)

The pair – who ended their five-year romance last month – fuelled rumours they have reunited with their flirty behaviour at the opening of SHG’s Eden Hollywood when they arrived with mutual friend Brittany Snow late in the evening.

A source told People magazine: “Vanessa was bopping around with her arms up while Zac had his hands all over her. Vanessa had a smile on from ear to ear and the two were inseparable after that.”

Following their public display of affection on the dancefloor, Zac, 23, and 22-year-old Vanessa then retreated to a table – and grew even more affectionate.

The insider explained: “Zac sat in between her legs and she wrapped her arms around him. They were making out on and off for the last hour or so until closing. They acted like there was no one else in the room.”

The former couple narrowly escaped being pictured together but as the ‘17 Again’ hunk leaned in for a kiss, Vanessa pushed him away after spotting a fellow reveller with a cameraphone.

However, a source said: “They were kissing on the lips and seemed to be enjoying their night. They seem to be back together.”

When news of Zac and Vanessa’s break-up was announced last month, pals insisted the separation was mutual and they were still “good friends”.

The pair met on the set of ‘High School Musical’ in 2005.

The singer-and-actress – whose actual birthday is today (23.11.10) – celebrated reaching the landmark age at Los Angeles nightclub Trousdale.

She headed straight to the nightspot after performing at the American Music Awards (AMAs) and was seen smooching the 18-year-old Canadian star – who appears in new Nickelodeon TV series ‘Victorious’, which follows the life of fictional aspiring singer Tori Vega and her days at performing arts high school Hollywood Arts.

Despite the embrace, it has been claimed that Miley and Avan are not dating.

A source told People: “They’re just hanging out. She’s still single. They have just hung out together a few times and are getting to know each other – that’s really it right now.”

The ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ hitmaker partied with her mother Tish, actress Demi Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher, Demi’s daughter Rumer Willis, Kelly Osbourne, actor-and-rapper Kyle Massey and ‘Glee’ stars Mark Salling and Chord Overstreet as DJ Cobra played music.

As well as getting a birthday kiss from Avan, Miley was also treated to a giant red velvet cake, Key lime pies, chocolate mousse and raspberry shot glasses and a dessert table, all provided by the Sweet & Saucy Shop.

The teen star – whose father Billy Ray Cyrus is currently divorcing her mother – has revealed she likes to celebrate her birthday for an entire month.

She said: “I have a birthday month. I do the whole month of November. Thanksgiving, cake – it’s all about me on Thanksgiving!”

Vanessa Hudgens finds Zac Efron’s beard too itchy when they kiss

The ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ actor is presently sporting new facial hair, but says it hasn’t been such a big hit with girlfriend Vanessa, as he’s always scratching her face.

When asked about his beard at the premiere of ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ in London’s Leicester Square last night (16.09.10), Zac said: “Well Vanessa finds it very itchy when I kiss her.”

Modest Zac, 22, also admitted he doesn’t feel his facial fuzz quite matches up to that grown by ‘Twilight’ heartthrob Robert Pattinson, who recently cultivated a more rugged look ahead of taking a road trip across the US.

When asked whose mane was thicker, Zac told BANG Showbiz: “Probably Rob’s.”

Zac also told of his desire to work alongside more British actors, saying he’d sign up to star alongside “anyone from RocknRolla” - Guy Ritchie’s 2008 gangster film featuring Gerard Butler, Thandie Newton, Tom Wilkinson and Tom Hardy - in a heartbeat.

Augustus Prew – Zac’s co-star in ‘Charlie St. Cloud’- said he got the opportunity to spend some time with the former ‘High School Musical’ actor and Vanessa when making the film in Canada, and they appeared very much in love.

He said: “We were up filming in Vancouver, and Vanessa was also in British Columbia shooting ‘Sucker Punch’, so she came over and my girlfriend was there too, and we all hung out.

“Zac and Vanessa are the sweetest couple, they are so in love.”

Kristen Stewart “wasn’t allowed to grope” Dakota Fanning on the set of ‘The Runaways’

The actress told how there were strict rules in place when she performed her on-screen kiss with the teenage star, but their intimate moment felt “natural”.

Kristen – who rose to fame in the ‘Twilight’ franchise – said: “Well, she was 15, and I wasn’t allowed to grope her. I’m not kidding. There are major restrictions.

“But it’s very innocent in the movie, just a kiss. Of course, everyone’s talking about it like it’s a huge deal but it was so natural and impulsive.

“And it’s like five seconds in the movie.”

The film tells the true story of rock star Joan Jett – who the 20-year-old actress portrays – and her all-girl band The Runaways, a teenage group from the 70s. Dakota plays the group’s singer Cherie Currie.

Kristen said the role differed to her previous work because she had to portray a living person, but that she became close to Joan – who was one of the movie’s producers – during filming.

She told Stylist magazine: “I think we really do understand each other, and that’s rare. We have a lot of idiosyncrasies and tics that are really different to other people, and so I feel the role was an easy thing to step into.

“When we were shooting I was doing a lot of press and I think I was sort of wearing her and projecting her a little bit.”

It seems that Dakota Fanning had no issue while kissing Kristen Stewart in their new movie “The Runaways“.

Kristen Stewart’s 16-year-old costar was comfortable with the kissing scene. Fanning said, “When you feel comfortable around someone and you have no defences up, that’s when you’re going to be the best.” She added, “I feel very comfortable with Kristen”.

Dakota Fanning stars as Cherie Currie in the The Runaways, a biographical film about the 1970s all-girl rock band of the same name. Currie was the lead vocalist of The Runaways. The Runaways received generally favorable reviews from critics.

Earlier Dakota told to MTV News, “I don’t think it was ever a big deal to me”. Stewart said that kiss acted as an extension of their bond and friendship.

Dakota Fanning found kissing Kristen Stewart “comfortable”

The 16-year-old actress locks lips with the ‘Twilight Saga’ star in their new movie ‘The Runaways’ – in which they play rockers Cherie Currie and Joan Jett respectively – and despite it being her first female kiss, the teenager insists there was nothing awkward about the scene.

She said: “Was it awkward? When you feel comfortable around someone and you have no defences up, that’s when you’re going to be the best. I feel very comfortable with Kristen.”

The ‘Nine Lives’ actress – who shot to fame aged just seven in ‘I Am Sam’ – also insisted she was comfortable with her strict Christian parents seeing the movie, despite its adult nature, because she had been so desperate to take on a role that reflected the fact she is growing up.

She explained: “I wanted to do a different kind of movie because I am getting older and my parents had no doubts about the project whatsoever.

“I think everyone was comfortable because it’s a true story.

“My mom was there on set the whole time. My dad saw it at the Sundance festival and I wasn’t really nervous because I’ve been doing this since I was six, so he’s used to seeing me in different situations.

“He says that when he watched it he didn’t even think it was me because I look so different and Cherie is not who I am in real life.”

The 45-year-old actress locked lips with 25-year-old Scarlett at the MTV Movie Awards when she presented her with the Generation Award at the event on Sunday (06.06.10), and Sandra praised her for her skills after.

Referring to her ‘The Proposal’ co-star Ryan Reynolds – also Scarlett’s husband – Sandra said: “Ryan is right, Scarlett is a great kisser.”

The 16-year-old singer insists that despite his young age, he has already grown romantically close to more than one person, and believes his smooching technique is better than average.
