Carrie Underwood turns to cleaning when her husband is away at hockey games.

The country music star tied the knot with ice hockey player Mike Fisher last July and although she loves married life with him in Ottowa, Canada, the 27-year-old beauty admitted she often gets bored when her spouse is playing in a different city.

She said: “It is hard being a hockey wife. They will go off for a few days at a time to play some road games, and I am just like sitting at home twiddling my thumbs thinking, ‘What do I do?’

“I cleaned, and we are moving into a new house, and so I was unpacking all of his stuff. And laundry and dishes.”

Carrie was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Song for her track ‘There’s A Place For Us’, eventually losing out to Diane Warren with ‘You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me’ at last night’s (17.01.11) ceremony and even though Mike couldn’t make it to Los Angeles with her, she revealed he was cheering her on from home.

She explained to People magazine: “Even though he’s not here with me tonight, I know he’s watching. And just to have somebody that I know is 1,000 per cent cheering me on, it’s really nice to have that kind of support.”

David and Victoria Beckham are set to move to New York

The superstar couple currently live in Los Angeles – where David plays soccer for Los Angeles Galaxy – but also have homes in their native London and the South of France and are now set to splash out on a luxurious Manhattan home as fashion designer Victoria wants to be there for her work.

Victoria reportedly told a friend: “My work is so important to me and LA just isn’t a real fashion city.”

A source added to Now magazine: “Her friendship group in LA has disbanded and David was travelling a lot more than she’d anticipated and so was she. It just seemed to make sense for her to be based in fashion capital New York. It’s closer to London and Europe for her business meetings.”

However, David still has a contract with his club so the couple – who have three sons together – will keep their Beverly Hills home, which he will use as base while playing.

The source continued: “David’s used to flying a lot but this will be the first time he’s been permanently based so far from his team. If he has a few games in a row, he’ll stay in Los Angeles. This isn’t a decision they’ve come to lightly. They still like LA and have no plans to sell their home there but being based in Hollywood doesn’t appeal to them anymore and they feel it’s time for a change.”

A source told National Enquirer magazine: “When their meals arrived, Tony didn’t wake his napping bride, but quickly wolfed down his dinner solo and had hers packed to go. Then he gently woke his sleeping beauty, whose eyes were still half-mast, and gallantly guided her out to their car.”

Eva is not the only celebrity to have nodded off during a romantic evening. Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland once dozed off during a cinema trip with a prospective boyfriend, and was snoring so loudly her pal Beyonce Knowles had to wake her up.

She recently said: “Once I fell asleep. He was the nicest guy, but I just happened to fall asleep. We were at a movie and yes, he noticed that I fell asleep. Beyonce had to come up to me and say, ‘You’re snoring. We can hear you snoring back here.’ That was so embarrassing.”

Jennifer Lopez banned her ex-husband from auditioning for ‘American Idol’

Ojani Noa – the star’s first spouse – had planned to wait in line and serenade his former wife with one of her own songs when auditions opened in California on Wednesday (22.09.10).

However, J.Lo – who was unveiled as a new member of the judging panel this week along with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler – told the show’s producers, Fox, she would be uncomfortable with Cuban-born Ojani appearing leading to him being told by bosses he could be arrested if he went ahead with his plans.

A friend of Ojani told RadarOnline.com: “Jennifer got Fox to make sure the screeners would not let Ojani anywhere near the auditions.

“Fox made it clear that he was not welcome and that he could be arrested if he showed up, so he backed-out at the last minute.

“It was a shame because all he wanted to do was to showcase his voice and show people that he can really sing too.”

Ojani, 36, married Jennifer in 1997 after meeting her while working as a waiter. Their marriage lasted less than a year and they initially parted on good terms, but the pair have fallen out in recent years, after Jennifer hired and subsequently fired Ojani as head chef of her now closed Latin restaurant Madre’s in 2002.

He has since been banned from publishing a tell-all book he wrote about the 41-year-old star by one court, and last year a judge ruled he was also not allowed to commercially release footage from the couple’s honeymoon.

The source added: “Whenever Ojani tries to do something Jennifer just tries to block it any way that she can – nobody really knows what she’s so paranoid about.”

Since divorcing Ojani, Jennifer dated rapper P. Diddy, married and divorced dancer Cris Judd, got engaged to actor Ben Affleck and finally settled down and married singer Marc Anthony, with whom she has two-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Gemma Arterton is taking a break from Hollywood to spend more time with her husband

The ‘Tamara Drewe’ actress is planning to reduce her film roles so she and her 37-year-old spouse Stefano Catelli – who she married in a low-key ceremony in Spain on June 5 – can enjoy their first year of married life.

She said: “I love married life and I decided it was about time I took a break from filming and working abroad so we can spend more time together.”

However, the 24-year-old beauty will not take a break from acting completely.

Gemma has signed up to star in Henrik Ibsen’s ‘The Master Builder’ at London’s Almeida Theatre from November, and says she prefers treading the boards to shooting movies.

She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “I prefer working on stage, actually.”

Gemma has previously confessed she didn’t think she would ever get married and imagined a life filled with cats as she got older.

She said: “It takes you by surprise. I always thought I was going to end up an old spinster, with my cats and fur coats.”

Kendra Wilkinson is a “stay at home mom”

The 25-year-old former Playboy model – who gave birth to her first child Hank Baskett IV with her NFL football player husband Hank Baskett in December 2009 –has put her partying days behind her and spends most of her time caring for her son, who she believes is advanced for his age.

She said: “At the end of the day, I’m basically a stay at home mom that wants to love my son.

“He is so advanced it is not even funny. He already knows how to shoot a basketball. He’s so smart, he already knows how to put a ball through the basket. He just keeps on doing it.”

Kendra has also revealed she thinks of every day as a “special day” for baby Hank and is always purchasing gifts for him.

She told website Celebritybabyscoop.com: “I go to all these toy stores and all the cashiers always say, ‘Wow, is it his birthday or something?’ And I’m like, ‘No every day is a special day for him.’ I don’t look at toys as toys now.

“I look at everything as learning tools. They need to learn their shapes, colours, numbers, alphabet. So I give him as much as I can to learn.”

Kendra, 25, recently revealed she wants to expand her family soon so her son will have a sibling who is close to his age.

She said: “Yeah, about baby number two, we’re talking about it. Hank the other day just freaking called me and was like, ‘I want another baby. I want you pregnant!’

“I definitely want to try by next summer for sure. I want them close in age.”

‘O.C. Housewife’ Hubby Arrested for Domestic Violence

Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney’s estranged husband was arrested this morning on suspicion of domestic battery, according to law enforcement sources.

TMZ obtained Simon Barney’s mug shot. He’s in the process of divorcing Tamra, and sources tell us they were arguing over their dog when Simon allegedly threw the dog’s leash at Tamra and hit her wrist.

Sources say Tamra called the police. Simon is still in custody … he’s being held on $10,000 bail.

The Spanish actress has released a statement through her spokesperson confirming she is expecting her first child with husband Javier Bardem.

The 36-year-old beauty was photographed recently with what seemed to be a baby bump while shooting scenes for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ and it has now been revealed she is four-and-a-half months pregnant.

Penelope has been notoriously private about her life, marrying 41-year-old Javier in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas in early July.

However, she has previously confirmed her desire to have children, although she confessed she would be happy to adopt.

She said: “I’d love to have kids. Maybe I’ll adopt about 20 children – that’s been my dream since I was a little girl. I want to have my own kids, but also adopt. For a while I’ve had the feeling that my life won’t be complete if I don’t adopt.

“I think I would be a perfect mother. I love babies.”

Danielle Staub — My Ex is a Total Scumbag

Danielle Staub is going after her ex-husband with a vengeance — claiming the guy is such a drug-abusing, violent, sexual deviant … that his $5 million defamation lawsuit against Danielle should be thrown out of court.

Danielle just filed legal papers in L.A. County Superior Court – in which she states that Kevin Maher has “no evidence” that Danielle ever made several controversial statements about him … including accusations that Kevin killed her dog, forced her to play Russian Roulette … and even raped her.

As we previously reported, Maher filed a lawsuit against the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star — claiming she did make the alleged statements … and in doing so, she damaged his reputation to the tune of $5 million.

But Staub claims Maher has admitted to being such a scumbag in the past — that even if she did make the statements, his reputation couldn’t suffer any worse than it already has.

In fact, Staub lists several examples of Maher’s alleged scumbaggery …

According to the docs, Staub claims it’s all spelled out in Maher’s infamous biography, “Cop Without a Badge” … in which Maher admits to using cocaine, has “overactive sexual proclivities,” and once shoved a gun into the genitals of a man he thought was sleeping with Danielle.

As TMZ previously reported, Maher and Staub are attempting to settle their issues through mediation … but in case that fails, the case is set to go to trial in February.

Explaining he wants to live on a private island, employ a “genius chef”, smoke cigars, drink fine wines and get fat, the ‘99 Problems‘ star said:  “That’s what I enjoy. That’s the payback for all the hard work.

“Beyonce will be on the island too. But I don’t think she plan to get as fat as me. I’m gonna be fat.”

The music mogul – real name Shawn Carter – also revealed one of the high points of his career was when U2 frontman Bono invited him and Beyonce to holiday at the ‘One’ hitmaker’s home in St. Tropez, France.

Nicole Kidman grows her own vegetables

The Oscar-winning actress – who lives with husband Keith Urban and their two-year-old daughter Sunday Rose in Nashville, Tennessee – is said to spend hours tending to her garden so she can feed her family home-grown, organic produce.

A friend of the star told the National Enquirer magazine: “She likes to have fresh organic produce for their daughter, Sunday. She doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty to make sure that the lettuce and corn come out perfectly.”

In addition to growing vegetables at her home, Nicole recently revealed she has fulfilled a lifelong ambition by raising alpacas in her garden.

She explained: “We just planted our vegetables for the summer. I’m hoping the corn will be beautiful, because I love eating corn out of the garden.

“And we just bought some alpacas. They are sort of the cousins of llamas, which I’ve always wanted because of their long necks and eyelashes.”

Zsa Zsa’s Husband — Bedridden After ‘Blacking Out’

TMZ has learned …  Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband — Prince Frederic von Anhalt — has been confined to the bed next to his ailing wife after he “blacked out” and collapsed at their Beverly Hills home last night.

A rep for the couple tells us Von A-Hole was “doing stuff around the house” when he “felt dizzy and fell.”

We’re told one of the nurses assisting Zsa Zsa saw the Prince on the floor and rushed to call a doctor.  The rep tells us, “Prince is suffering from exhaustion and is not able to use his arm right now. It’s really bruised up.”

Doctors told Prince that he hasn’t been getting enough rest recently — and advised him to stay in bed for the next few days.

As for Zsa Zsa — the rep tells us she’s “still bed ridden but is eating a little, talking a little and sleeping a lot.”

The blonde beauty – who had her first baby Hank Baskett IV with husband Hank Baskett in December – wants to expand her brood in the near future because she wants her children to be close in age.

She said: “Yeah, about baby number two, we’re talking about it. Hank the other day just freaking called me and was like, ‘I want another baby. I want you pregnant!’

“I definitely want to try by next summer for sure. I want them close in age.”

However, the reality TV star admits Hank is really busy at the moment preparing for the start of the National Football League in September with his team the Philadelphia Eagles – leaving little time to plan for a new baby.

The 23-year-old reality TV star cited irreconcilable differences in her marriage to Spencer Pratt when she filed a petition in Santa Monica Superior Court, California, yesterday (30.07.10), two months after the couple split.

Jodeane Farrell, Heidi’s lawyer, told People.com: “Heidi has amended her petition for separation and today has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt.

“The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalised in a timely manner in an out of court settlement. Both parties are amicable with each other and over the possibility of finalising their divorce.”

Spencer, 26, recently admitted he and Heidi – who he married in April 2009 – had gone their separate ways because she wanted to enjoy married life out of the spotlight, while he had his sights set on increasing his fame.

He said:  “We love each other but I’m a famew***e and I’ll never grow out of it. Heidi knows that and doesn’t want that.

“I want every kind of press. She believes in bad press. There’s no way my love for fame and her love for puppies will every work out successfully. She just wants to hike and hang out and be calmer.

Brittany Murphy, Husband’s Deaths — the Mold Factor

The investigation into Brittany Murphy and Simon Monjack’s deaths is now being handled by the Department of Public Health, TMZ has learned … and it’s all because of mold found in their home.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the issue of mold in the house came up early during the investigation into Brittany’s death — but it was deemed “not to be a contributing factor.”

Then when Simon passed away a few months later, we’re told the issue came up again — but Brittany’s mom, Sharon, wouldn’t let the L.A. County Coroner’s Office in to investigate the mold. Now, we’re told, Sharon has agreed to let Public Health investigators into the home.

Mold could be relevant to Simon and Brittany’s respiratory health. Pneumonia was a cause of death for both of them.

We’re also told Simon’s mother, Linda Monjack is fully supportive of this move, and will be flying from Europe so she can be close to the investigation.

The former Playboy Playmate admits she and her husband Hank Baskett have been thinking about having another child because their seven-month-old son Hank Baskett IV has brought so much joy to their lives.

Kendra and NFL football player Hank are loving every minute of parenthood and are enjoying learning all the different nuances of raising a child.

Khloe Kardashian and her husband have a new bedroom hobby – they play Monopoly.

The reality TV star – who wed Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Lamar Odom in September 2009 – has revealed the pair stay up late in bed challenging each other at a computer version of the famous property buying board game.

The ‘Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami’ star said: “Lamar and I just got iPads and we play Monopoly on them all night and day. We lie in bed and play Monopoly.”

The 26-year-old beauty loves playing games so much she and Lamar have started having a weekly “game night” so they can compete with their friends.

She added: “The other night we had a game date night with everyone. It was so fun! It is a new thing we want to try and do once a week now. That’s how much fun we all had. I love to win, but I am not a sore loser. Still, winning is my goal in anything I do.”

Khloe also admitted her love of taking financial ‘risks’ in Monopoly is mirrored by her real life business decisions.

TMZ has learned Hooman — aka Nik Richie from “The Dirty” website — and his wife have both filed applications in Arizona to change their names … hoping to become Nik Lamas-Richie and Shayne Lamas-Richie.

But the best part — in Nik’s application, he documents several reasons for wanting to drop his given name, noting that he “can’t even pronounce it” — and adding, “People ask me if I am related to the Kardashians which is tacky.”

Meanwhile, nowhere in the docs does he complain about the name of his birthplace … Hackensack, NJ.

Jesse James’ ex-wife Janine Lindemulder is an expert at entertaining children … just not her own — according to new docs filed in the ex-couple’s custody battle, the former porn star is a fully trained clown.

It’s ironic … given that Janine allegedly sent several emails to Jesse’s sister in 2009 in which she admits, “I am so depressed, Sun is suffering, I can’t even find the energy to play with her.”  It’s so sad, it sounds like a Smokey Robinson song.

Sad, but true.  According to new legal papers obtained by TMZ, Janine “successfully” completed “the Basic Clowning courses” at the Academy of Performing Arts in Clowning on May 2, 2010 … and even has the certificate to prove it.

The current custody agreement requires that a monitor be present whenever Janine visits her daughter.

Mariah Carey’s new perfume was inspired by her husband Nick Cannon.

The singer says Nick’s proposal gave her the ideas to create Lollipop Bling, her new “sweet” fragrance.

She said: “The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick’s marriage proposal to me. He first surprised me with a ring-pop – romantic, fun and young-at-heart – like me!”

Mariah is releasing Lollipop Bang through Elizabeth Arden in conjunction with Topps Candy Company next month.

The singer was recently described by Nick as the “diva of all divas”.

The rapper-and-presenter said his superstar spouse lives up to her demanding reputation but that’s one of the things he loves about her.

Nick revealed: “Imagine if you’ve got the diva of all divas. If we’ve got to be somewhere at five or six o’clock, I tell her it’s time to go at noon so she gets those five hours to do what she needs to do.

Ronan Keating Wants to save his marriage

The Boyzone singer is distraught to think his 12-year union to wife Yvonne could be over following her discovery he has been having an affair with backing dancer Francine Cornell and has cancelled all work commitments for the next three weeks in a bid to save his relationship.

The 33-year-old singer performed with his bandmates at the SkyDance music festival in Zurich, Switzerland, on Friday (21.05.10) but is now flying back to the family home in Dublin, Ireland, to try and convince Yvonne, 36, to give their marriage another chance.

According to the News of the World newspaper, Ronan told a friend: “I’m devastated. I know what I did was wrong. I feel terrible about what this has done to Yvonne. But I’m not prepared to give up on my marriage. I’ve cancelled everything and I’m going back to Dublin to make this work.”

Despite Ronan’s hopes, Yvonne – who has three children, Jack, 11, Marie, nine and Ali, four, with the pop star – is completely devastated by the revelations and although she is prepared to meet with her husband he will not move back into the family home.

A source said: “Yvonne is completely shocked, upset and hurt. This has hit her very hard and she’s not ready to even think about a future with Ronan. At the moment she feels betrayed and she can’t see a way back.”

The ‘Lost For Words’ singer is alleged to have been having an affair with Francine, 26, for seven months after meeting her when she was employed as a dancer on Boyzone’s UK tour last year.

He is said to have fallen for her and endlessly bombarded her with text messages when they were apart.

A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “The affair had been going on for around seven months. It was broken off a couple of times but not for long as Ronan can’t stay away from her. He’s obsessed with Francine – besotted.”

Sandra Bullock still wants Jesse James to play a role in her adopted son’s life.

The Oscar-winning actress has filed for divorce from the motorcycle entrepreneur following allegations he cheated on her with a string of women but says she would like him to be involved with three-month-old Louis because she knows what a great father he is.

She told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “I will be adopting as a single parent. Anything else will be taken day by day.

“I have a different relationship with Jesse now. A bittersweet one. One of new understanding. One of forgiveness. One of support for his recovery. One that changed my life. I don’t really know how our paths will intersect in the future, but the father I have known Jesse to be with all the kids is one that I hope Louis can experience one day, no matter how Jesse and I go on with our lives.”

Jesse – who recently left rehab following treatment for sex addiction – has three children, Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and six-year-old Sunny, from previous marriages and Sandra would also like the kids to be involved in Louis’ life.

Michael Jackson’s Lawyer — Mystery Suicide Note

Peter Lopez — the music attorney who had close ties to Michael Jackson — left a suicide note that was completely silent as to why he took his life … sources connected to the situation tell TMZ.

We’re told the one-page, handwritten note expressed his love for his wife and kids and asked for forgiveness, but did not even hit at why Peter would end his life.

A source close to the family tells TMZ Peter dropped the kids off at school at about 9:00 AM Friday.  When he got home, we’re told Peter went to the backyard and shot himself in the head.

We’re also told people close to Peter thought he seemed “stressed out” in the weeks leading up to his death … but that he did not tell anyone — including his family — what was bothering him.

Lopez was married to Catherine Bach from “The Dukes of Hazzard” for 20 years. They had two children together.

In addition to working with Michael Jackson, Lopez — who worked with Jackson on the 25th anniversary of “Thriller” — was an attorney for The Eagles and served as a co-producer on the movie “Selena.”

Michael Jackson’s former lawyer has been found shot dead.

Peter Lopez – who was married to ‘Dukes Of Hazzard’ actress Catherine Bach – reportedly committed suicide at the couple’s home in California yesterday (30.04.10).A neighbour heard the shot, and Peter, 60, was found by someone who was at the house.

A spokesperson for Catherine – who played the character of Daisy Duke in the TV series – and the couple’s two daughters Sophia and Laura said: “The Lopez Family has suffered a tragic personal loss. Catherine and the girls ask for your prayers.”

Peter had been late ‘King Of Pop’ Michael’s lawyer since 2006 when he was appointed by the singer’s former general manager, Raymone Bain, to re-organise his business affairs. Raymone said: “I’d known Peter for 20 years, I can’t think of a nicer individual. He was a good guy. I’m just so shocked.”

Peter also represented artists including The Eagles, Andrea Bocelli and Michael Buble. The law firm where Peter was a co-founder, Kleinberg Lopez Lange Cuddy and Klein also spoke of their shock. A statement from the firm said: “We are deeply shocked and saddened by the unexpected loss of our friend and partner.”
