Justin Bieber has introduced Selena Gomez to his extended family.

The 17-year-old Canadian singer and his 18-year-old girlfriend were joined at the Swiss Chalet restaurant in his home town on Stratford, Ontario yesterday (01.06.11) by his cousins and aunt and uncle, where onlookers described them as “friendly and happy”.

One source said: “Justin and Selena had lunch with Justin’s cousins and his aunt and uncle. They were really sweet and make an adorable couple.

“They looked happy and in love. They acted just like everyday people, very down-to-earth. Justin is part of the community, he’s one of us and is as friendly as can be.”

Earlier in the day, Selena – who spend last weekend introducing her boyfriend to her family in Texas – spent time with Justin’s mother Patti Malette and grandparents at local eatery Madelyn’s Diner while the ‘Baby’ hitmaker worked out at a nearby gym.

Waitress Glynnie McCauley told HollywoodLife.com: “Selena enjoyed our home-made comfort food with Justin’s mom and grandparents. Justin’s stepmom and his stepmom’s daughter Amanda also joined them.

“They all got along wonderfully. Selena sat next to Justin’s grandmother and across from Justin’s mom. They all seemed really happy. Selena was so nice. She is super sweet and even posed with one of the waitresses for a photo.”

It seems Justin has been taking the time to show Selena all of his favourite hang-outs in Stratford.

On Tuesday (31.05.11) evening, the couple took a romantic stroll along the Stratford Upon Avon river, and the pair couldn’t hide their affection for one another.

Local resident Taylor Ramsey said: “They looked completely in love with each other.

“Justin had his arm around Selena and was showing her the swans in the river.

“After they walked around the river, they sat on one of the bridges for a little while. It’s a really romantic place to go because it is so peaceful and you are surrounded by nature.”

The 24-year-old actor – who is in a relationship with his ‘Twilight Saga’ co-star Kristen Stewart – insists starring with older leading ladies in Reese Witherspoon and Uma Thurman in ‘Water for Elephants’ and ‘Bel Ami’ did not bother him as it was so similar to his own life.

He said: “Every girl I went out with in my teens was older than me. My first girlfriend was 26, I was 17.

“Women who were older always seemed more exciting.”

The British hunk admits one of the attractions of dating older women was how much it irritated other people.

He explained: “I used to think I was a bit of a bad-ass when I was younger. I liked that it annoyed people how much younger I was.

“I liked walking into a room with a woman and people looking at us and thinking, ‘They do not look right together.’ ”

Nowadays, Robert is more cautious with his personal life as he knows any outrageous antics will shunt him further into the spotlight.

The 22-year-old actor – who has been dating his ‘High School Musical’ co-star since 2005 – revealed while he often feels uncomfortable next to the brunette beauty, she is the only person who he doesn’t drive mad.

He explained: “Dating Vanessa makes many things much easier, because you understand each other without having to explain a lot. In terms of planning, I am very picky – worse than any woman. I drive everyone mad, except for Vanessa, she is always very understanding.

“The only disadvantage is that she is always dressed so stunningly that I look awkward and stand out.”

The ‘Gossip Girl’ star – who is rumoured to have just begun dating newly single Kelly Osbourne – wants to be with a girl who he can feel a close connection to.

He said: “I want a girl who touches me on the inside. I hardly meet any of that kind though. That is the reason I haven’t had a girlfriend for a while.”

Famed sportswriter and ESPN personality Jay Mariotti has been charged for an alleged attack on his GF last month … and now we’ve learned he may have stolen her purse.

As we previously reported, Mariotti — a frequent guest on ESPN’s “Around the Horn” — was arrested on August 21 after allegedly roughing up his girlfriend following a spat at a Santa Monica nightclub.

Now, the L.A. City Attorney has charged Mariotti with 7 misdemeanors … including 4 domestic violence charges, false imprisonment, vandalism and grand theft.

We’re told Mariotti is accused of taking his girlfriend’s purse and keys — and the purse is valued at more than $400.

If convicted on all charges — Mariotti could spend more than a year behind bars.

The 22-year-old actor – who has been dating the brunette beauty since they met on the set of ‘High School Musical’ in 2005 – was watching the actress strut her stuff in musical ‘Rent’ at The Hollywood Bowl when he got up from his seat to tip her for her sexy striptease during ‘Out Tonight’.

Vanessa – who is starring as HIV-infected stripper Mimi in the popular stage production – grabbed the cash from her boyfriend and seductively stuffed it into her top.

An onlooker said: “Everyone was surprised when Zac got out of his seat to give Vanessa the money. It was all very good humoured although she was probably shocked to receive a bill from her boyfriend during the middle of the show.”

The 21-year-old actor has been seen with a pretty brunette in recent weeks and it can now be revealed his new romantic interest is 19-year-old Olive Uniacke.

Olive is the step-daughter of David Heyman, the millionaire producer of the ‘Harry Potter’ movies, in which Daniel plays the titular character.

Her father is Robie Uniacke – a London society figure who was recently romantically linked to actress Rosamund Pike – and her mother is his ex-wife Rose, an interior designer.

Caitlin Beadles – who split from the ‘Baby’ hitmaker shortly before he found fame early last year – spent time with the 16-year-old star in the Bahamas last month when he was doing a photoshoot with Kim Kardashian.

On June 6 she tweeted: “Bahamas here I come! Gonna be an awesome week!”

She followed up the message on her return a week later, posting: “What happens in the Bahamas stays in the Bahamas!”

A few days afterwards, when Justin tweeted that he was “back in Canada”, Caitlin again took to her page on the social networking website to apparently express her feelings.

According to Life and Style magazine, she posted: “I hate when you have to leave. It’s like half of me is gone. I miss you already!”

Despite their split, Justin and Caitlin have remained close, with the ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ singer flying to see his former love last August after she was involved in a serious boating accident.

In December, he serenaded her onstage during a concert in Georgia.

However, despite the speculation, Justin insists he is not romantically involved with anyone.

The 22-year-old musician is reportedly taking part in a wedding rehearsal today (18.12.09) which features a roller skating rink.

Kevin, the eldest of the pop siblings, met his fiancee in the Bahamas in 2007 and proposed to former hairdresser Danielle, 22, by turning up at her New Jersey doorstep last June with a ring, breaking teen girls’ hearts worldwide.

Danielle is said to be walking up the aisle in a strapless Vera Wang gown and a headpiece by designer Denise Leli.

A source said: “Danielle has gone for a romantic dress and an intricate headpiece with floral details, because when she met Kevin on the beach she was wearing a flower in her hair.”

Demi Lovato, who starred with The Jonas Brothers in ‘Camp Rock’, is one of the celebrity guests expected to attend the ceremony.

The Canadian crooner says he was so intimidated when he first met Argentian actress Luisana Lopilato at one of his concerts last November that he spent the night talking to her male friend instead.
