Michael Lohan is telling people he’s going to intentionally fall off the wagon and check himself into the Betty Ford Clinic to be near Lindsay Lohan — and stage his own arrest if necessary to get his daughter’s attention.

We’re told Michael is going to show up at Betty Ford and demand admission. He will stage his own arrest — to show everyone how much he cares about his daughter.

Michael is saying he’ll make one more trip to Betty Ford to attempt to see Lindsay. If she won’t let him in, he’s going to get all drunk and then go back and make a scene.

Wasn’t this an episode in “I Love Lucy?”

Michael Lohan: Dina Screwed Lindsay Up, Too

Michael Lohan is lashing out at claims he’s the root of Lindsay Lohan’s problems — what with the violence, prison stints and general bad behavior.

Michael tells TMZ … Dina was violent as Lindsay was growing up, and it left an impression. Michael claims when Lindsay was 4-years-old, Dina was arguing with his mom and Dina allegedly smashed a phone across grandma’s face, requiring six stitches.

And Michael says, on another occasion — when Lindsay was a teenager — Dina went nuts on Michael, flew over two beds to get at him and accidentally knocked herself out.

Michael adds it was Dina’s idea to leave Lindsay in Hollywood at a very young age, even though LiLo had a stalker.

As we reported, some members of Lindsay’s family tell us … Lindsay believes her current predicament is the result of Michael’s craziness.

Michael Lohan Goes Conservator Shopping

Michael Lohan thinks the guy in this photo could save Lindsay Lohan’s life.

Michael Lohan is eyeing Dana Cole, a prominent Los Angeles criminal defense lawyer, to serve as the conservator for Lindsay Lohan.

The two met on Thursday, though we’re told Cole did not sign on — but he listened.

As we first reported, Michael wants to file for a conservatorship, but he knows the judge would never appoint him as a conservator … for numerous reasons.

But Lindsay is adamant … she’s not going under a conservatorship — period.

Michael Lohan Makes Move for Conservatorship

Michael Lohan will ask a judge to establish a conservatorship for Lindsay Lohan … TMZ has learned.

Michael met with attorney David Chon today and will hire him to file conservatorship papers … Chon specializes in trusts and estates.

We’re told Michael has enough sense to know the judge isn’t going to make him the conservator, so he has two other people in mind … though he’s not saying who.

Michael is saying, he doesn’t want Dina Lohan or Lindsay’s business manager, Lou Taylor, to handle Lindsay’s affairs because “they’re in it for themselves.”

Our sources say Michael plans on filing a petition for conservatorship “within days.”

Michael Lohan doesn’t necessarily think it’s Lindsay Lohan’s fault she failed multiple drug tests – he blames the people who enable her.

We caught with MiLo at LAX on Sunday, where he told our photog he thinks this never would have happened if he had been a regular part of Lindsay’s life.

Wonder if Lindsay would agree with that.

Michael Lohan Blows Into L.A. For Lindsay

Michael Lohan has moved to Los Angeles so he and Lindsay Lohan can be one happy dysfunctional family again … so Michael tells TMZ.

Michael says he moved from New York to L.A. yesterday … largely to be near Lindsay.  He says he wants to be close to Lindsay while she goes through outpatient rehab and therapy.

Michael concedes Lindsay would rather get mauled by a bulldog than be around him … but says as she becomes “clean and sober” that could change.

And, Michael blames the wedge between him and Lindsay on Dina, saying, “If wedges hadn’t been put between us and people didn’t use children as pawns, a lot of the problems suffered by children wouldn’t happen.”

Michael tells us he’s working with a realtor to find an L.A. pad of his own.

Why Rachel Uchitel Ran From Rehab — Dad’s Death

The issue that drove Rachel Uchitel to run away from rehab had nothing to do with Tiger Woods – instead it was an intense talk about her father’s death.

Sources closely connected to the production of “Celebrity Rehab” tell TMZ that Rachel’s breaking point came during a recent one-on-one therapy session where the main topic was her dad.

We’re told Rachel’s father died of a cocaine overdose in his 40s, and Rachel was 15 at the time.

Rachel split from Dr. Drew Pinsky’s facility in Pasadena and stayed at a Beverly Hills hotel for one night — and, according to our sources, she only came back the next day because her ‘Rehab’ castmates called and urged her to rejoin them.

Mel Gibson has finally broken his silence about his allegedly violent relationship with baby mama Oksana Grigorieva — but the man who got the exclusive swore to God he wouldn’t blab … ’cause he’s a Reverend.

TMZ has learned Mel has been opening up to Reverend Clement Procopio — the man in charge of the actor’s mega-church in Agoura Hills, CA.

When we asked Rev. Procopio if he’s offered any advice to Mel, he simply responded, “Of course, I gave him lots of words of wisdom. I am his confessor.”

Obviously, the Reverend wouldn’t get into specifics — but it’s clear, Mel’s religious advisors could play as big of a role in this case as his lawyers.

Joe Jackson Linked to Unauthorized MJ Memorial

The Michael Jackson estate and others have been asking … who’s behind an unauthorized MJ memorial set to go down Saturday night at the Beverly Hilton — now, there’s a smoking gun pointed at Joe Jackson.

As we previously reported, the bash is being thrown by a website called VoicePlate.com — but no one could identify the person responsible for pulling the strings. It’s also unclear who convinced Katherine Jackson to record that awkward, scripted promotional video for the tribute.

But now — a clue … and it all has to do with the featured entertainment at the MJ tribute … a band called the Chi-Lites — they had a couple of hits in the ’70s, including “Oh Girl” and “Have You Seen Her.”

If you recall, just days after MJ died … Joe Jackson shamelessly held a news conference to introduce his new business partner, Marshall Thompson … a member of the Chi-Lites.

Think it’s coincidence that the band got a brand new gig … at an MJ event?

Didn’t think so.

Family chef Kai Chase has revealed she took the children – Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 12, and Prince Michael II, eight – away from their father’s room as resuscitation attempts were made and formed a prayer circle to ask God to let him live.

She told The Sun newspaper: “It was as if a hammer had smashed the sun in and everything turned black.

“All three children ran to me, crying hysterically. Prince was shouting, ‘Dad, dad, what’s wrong with dad?’ While Paris screamed, ‘Daddy, daddy, daddy,’ over and over.

“I clutched them to my chest and got them to hold hands with me in a circle. Then I said, ‘Pray with me, all pray with me,’ and we prayed aloud, asking God for a miracle.

“We said, ‘Dear God, keep daddy safe, make this OK.’ But I knew – and I think they knew – that he was dead.”

Kai, 40, who has no children of her own, also claims Michael was a very fun and doting dad, and she remembers on Paris’ 11th birthday he threw her a party with a performance by acrobatic troupe Cirque du Soleil.

Referring to the eccentric character from ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, she said: “Mr. Jackson was an almost Willy Wonka-style father, with his crazy sense of fun.

“He had paid for members of the circus troupe Cirque du Soleil to perform throughout the house and garden. It was magical and one of the security team filmed the whole day.

“I know Paris keeps that tape close to her heart and watches it to remind her of her daddy.”

Meanwhile, Michael’s brother Jermaine claims the ‘Thriller’ star – who died on June 25, 2009, from acute Propofol intoxication – would have lived had he converted to Islam.

He said: “I felt that if Michael would have embraced Islam he would still be here today and I say that for many reasons.

“Why? Because when you are 100 per cent clear in your mind as to who you are and what you are and why you are and everybody around you, then things change in a way that’s better for you. It’s just having that strength. God is so powerful.”

Megan Fox was her grandma’s favourite grandchild.

The 24-year-old actress – who was recently dropped from the third Transformers film- said that her mother’s mum preferred her to the rest of her family, even though she couldn’t always join in with her games.

She said: “My mother’s mother always favoured me for some reason—out of all her grandchildren. When I was really young, maybe two or three, I used to always ask her to get down on the floor and play My Little Pony or whatever I was into at the time, and as an excuse she would tell me that she had a bone in her knee.

“It took me another three years to figure out that we all have bones in our knees. So I eventually called her out on it, and I remember her being genuinely amused with me.”

Megan, who grew up in Tennessee, recently admitted she loves home life with partner Brian Austin Green and relies on their time together to keep her “sane” away from the pressures of fame.

She said: “Oddly you wouldn’t think it, but I’m very domestic. That keeps me sane. “I sort of distance myself from the Hollywood crowd. I don’t go out and socialise that way.”

Peter Andre has been crowned Celebrity Dad of the Year 2010.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer – who raises three children with ex-wife Katie Price – was thrilled to be given the award by Bounty Parenting Club, which received 35,000 votes to determine the winner.

He said: “This feels so good. It’s been a turnaround year for me and the kids and it’s an honour to be the subject of the public’s support and best wishes.

“This means a huge amount to me as being a dad is my most important role.”

Since splitting from Katie in 2009, Peter has played a vital role in the lives of his two children Junior, five, and Princess Tiaamii, two, as well as continuing to care for his eight-year-old stepson Harvey – the model’s child from a previous relationship.

Faye Mingo, spokesperson for Bounty, said: “Our mums tell us that he’s an inspiration for all single dads going through a tough divorce and that they respect the fact that he makes time and puts in untold effort to be able to enjoy the family life he values so much. ”

Arnie Klein — Joe Jackson’s a Hypocrite!

Dr. Arnold Klein — the man who was probably closest to Michael Jackson — came out swinging against Joe Jackson, claiming the elder Jackson could have tried talking Michael off a ledge, but all he cared about was making money.

Dr. Klein tells TMZ, “Michael was very close to Katherine, but Joe talked to him too, but all Joe ever wanted to talk about was business. Everything Joe utters is nonsensical.”

Joe is taking lots of flack for telling News of the World Katherine is responsible for Michael’s death by not trying to cheer him up.

But Klein says he’s over the drama:  “I’m no longer interested in the Sodom and Gomorrah show on Havenhurst (the family home).  My main concern is the welfare of the children, especially Michael’s, and the preservation of Michael’s memory.”

Katherine Jackson’s Lawyer Goes After Joe Jackson

Joe Jackson’s cruel attack — that his wife, Katherine, is responsible for Michael’s death, is but the latest in a rich history of reckless, untrue comments … so says Katherine’s lawyer and the lawyer for Michael Jackson’s estate.

Katherine is not commenting on what amounts to her husband’s declaration of war — that she refused to “keep [Michael] cheered up” because she didn’t want to invade his privacy, and he’d be alive today if she had.

Katherine’s lawyer, Adam Streisand, tells TMZ, “The world knows that Mrs. Jackson has always been a loving mother and grandmother, and that she and Michael had a very special relationship.”  Streisand then drives it home:  “The world also knows who Joe Jackson is and he seems bent on never letting us forget.”

Howard Weitzman, lawyer for the Michael Jackson estate, tells TMZ, “The inference by Joe Jackson that Mrs. Jackson was in any way responsible for Michael’s death is preposterous.  Katherine Jackson was a supportive and loving mother throughout Michael’s life.  His love and respect for her is reflected in his estate plan.”

Now here’s how Joe may have screwed himself.  He’s not included in Michael’s will and no matter how hard he tries to invalidate the will, he’s going to end up with nothing in that department.  The chances of Joe getting a court-approved allowance from the estate are slim to none.  And Joe is trying to exploit Michael’s name to make money, but his unauthorized attempts have pretty much been shut down by the estate.  Ouch … and true.

So the only thing Joe has been able to rely on … Katherine’s generosity in the money department.  Looks like that gravy train may have finally left the station.

Michael Jackson’s father blames his wife for their son’s death.

Joe Jackson has admitted he accused Katherine Jackson of not doing enough to stop the late ‘Thriller’ star – who died of acute Propofol intoxication – abusing prescription drugs, just hours after he passed away last June.

Speaking of their confrontation in the mortuary, Joe admitted: “Katherine was weeping uncontrollably and highly upset. But I didn’t give her a hug because I was mad at her crying.

“I said, ‘If you had listened to me Michael would be living now.’ I kept thinking about the times I had stood in front of her saying something was wrong.

“I couldn’t bottle up my feelings. Katherine didn’t say a word – I had to get away from her. If she’d done what I asked, Michael would be here today. I am incensed with her. She could have made a difference.”

Joe – who was accused by Michael of beating him during childhood – claims he asked Katherine several times to intervene in the King of Pop’s problems because he knew the star wouldn’t listen to him.

He added to the News of the World newspaper: “In Michael’s final months alive I said to her many times that I couldn’t get through to him – and that she needed to help her son.

“I had begged her to go over and stay with him, but she insisted he needed his privacy and gave him the slack she thought he needed. A child will listen to his mother more than his father – and Michael was a mummy’s boy.”

Despite his accusation, Joe, 80, also holds himself responsible for Michael’s death because he was unable to get the singer’s planned 50-date London residency reduced.

He explained: “I wish I had made him walk away from those shows. I knew he would never make them, but I never thought he’d die.

“I tried to help Michael, but I feel I could have been more aggressive in getting access to him.”

Liv Tyler sees her parents as “human beings”.

The actress – the daughter of Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler and model Bebe Buell – confesses she detaches herself from them as family and tries to see them as people with normal struggles.

She said: “My mum is hysterical. We have lots of fun. I find in my life my relationships with both my parents are constantly evolving and you definitely understand things in a new way and have a new perspective on things they went through in their youth.

“I see them now more as human beings than as parents, and I try to understand the struggles and things they’ve been through in their life.”
Liv wasn’t aware Steve Tyler was her father until the age of 11, thinking instead it was music producer Todd Rundgren – although she is not bitter about it.

She said: “It was exciting. I didn’t see the bad side of it.”

Although she has sees her parents less like family, Liv thinks they are great grandparents to her five-year-old son Milo, whose father is her ex-husband Royston Langdon.

She said: “My mum is an amazing grandmother. She buys the best books, about dragons and dinosaurs which Milo really wants to read.

“And Milo is obsessed with his grandfather. It is super-special too, because he has no idea who Steve is or who Aerosmith are but he finds him so magical. Milo is simply addicted to his Papa Steve.”

Lindsay’s Dad — She Shouldn’t Quit Cold Turkey

Lindsay Lohan’s father believes that forcing Lindsay to cut herself off from drugs and alcohol ASAP is a bad thing — and he’s getting support from an expert.

Michael Lohan tells TMZ he thinks Lindsay has a problem with prescription pills, but he “doesn’t think it’s a good idea for her to detox on her own.” He feels Lindsay would be best served by “being under a doctor’s care.”

And according to addiction recovery specialist Marc Kern — Michael’s logic ain’t too far off.

Kern tells us if — and only if — Lindsay has a drug problem, “There probably should have been an assessment of her reliance and dependency of substances before they took her off of everything. That would have been a safer method.”

Of course, this all assumes that Lindsay actually has a drug problem.

Christina Aguilera admits her relationship with her father is “pretty non-existent”.

The ‘Not Myself Tonight’ singer – who regularly watched dad Fausto Aguilera abuse her mother while she was growing up – doesn’t meet up with him as she doesn’t see the point.

She said in an interview with Latina magazine: “Our relationship is pretty non-existent. I’m in a place in my life where I just don’t see a reason for it.”

While Christina – who now has a two-year-old son Max with husband Jordan Bratman – doesn’t enjoy a close father-daughter relationship, she doesn’t hold a grudge.

She said: “To remember the chaos that my mother went through, the abuse, I don’t know how she did it. But it’s amazing how much you can trick your mind into surviving when you have to.

“There’s always room for forgiveness. And I do forgive – but you grow up and make choices for your family.”

The 29-year-old blonde star is now concentrating on her new family life and credits Jordan, who she married in 2005, as being her rock.

She revealed: “Jordy was the calm in the storm when everybody else was driving me crazy. I had a lot of older people around me who were conniving – and these people do that so you cling to them. He was the person who reached down, pulled me out and made me see reason. I’m very lucky to have him.”

Miley’s Dad on Lap Dance Video: ‘Just Fun’

Billy Ray Cyrus is blowing off the controversy over his then 16-year-old daughter Miley Cyrus grinding on a 44-year-old man — saying, “It’s what people her age do.”

We spoke to Billy moments ago about the video that TMZ first posted yesterday — Miley dirty dancing with Adam Shankman during the wrap party for her movie “The Last Song.”

In our poll, an overwhelming majority said the dance was inappropriate … and 40 percent of readers blamed Miley’s parents — who were not there when the dancing deed was done.

Papa Billy says Miley was just “having fun.”

Michael Lohan: I’m Not Backing Off Anything

Michael Lohan’s lawyer, Lisa Bloom tells TMZ in no uncertain terms … Michael is not backing down or backing off his stand to get Lindsay into rehab.

TMZ reported that Michael was backing off his threat to force the issue.  We were told the lawyers were “trying to resolve things amicably.”  But resolving it amicably does not mean Michael is backing down or backing off, Bloom says.

Bloom tells TMZ, “There has been no agreement as to anything.  All options remain open to save and protect Lindsay.  That is Michael’s #1 priority.”

Bloom adds, “Michael wants Lindsay to go to rehab.  If she doesn’t, all options remain open.  He loves her.  Her decision not to meet with him or go into rehab puts him in a very difficult position.”

Sandra Bullock still wants Jesse James to play a role in her adopted son’s life.

The Oscar-winning actress has filed for divorce from the motorcycle entrepreneur following allegations he cheated on her with a string of women but says she would like him to be involved with three-month-old Louis because she knows what a great father he is.

She told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “I will be adopting as a single parent. Anything else will be taken day by day.

“I have a different relationship with Jesse now. A bittersweet one. One of new understanding. One of forgiveness. One of support for his recovery. One that changed my life. I don’t really know how our paths will intersect in the future, but the father I have known Jesse to be with all the kids is one that I hope Louis can experience one day, no matter how Jesse and I go on with our lives.”

Jesse – who recently left rehab following treatment for sex addiction – has three children, Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and six-year-old Sunny, from previous marriages and Sandra would also like the kids to be involved in Louis’ life.

She said: “I know my role is not one that exists on paper, but Louis is their brother, and Jesse and I will do whatever it takes for them to know that their world will not change and still be protected and safe and full of love. It will just have a slightly different dynamic now.”

Michael Lohan Hit by Lightning

TMZ has actual proof — God does not like Michael Lohan.

Michael tells TMZ the plane he took yesterday on his way from New York to L.A. got hit by lightning.

Michael says the plane made a scheduled layover in Atlanta but it was damaged badly enough that he had to get on another jet to make his way to L.A. — where he plans to meet with lawyers about establishing a conservatorship for Lindsay Lohan.

Michael says, “You know Dina was praying for it.”  He did not specify if he felt she was praying for the hit or for the plane to go down.

Alex Reid feels “very protective” of Katie Price’s children.

The cage-fighter – who wed the glamour model Katie Price in a quickie Las Vegas wedding ceremony in February – was furious to hear that her two-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii, was covered in bruises and a black eye when she arrived at her father Peter Andre’s home.

Alex said: “Princess left out care in perfect, happy health, so we were extremely concerned to be told she had bruises and two black eyes. As anyone in their right mind would do, I immediately contacted the police. Although the kids are not of my blood, I love and adore them and am very protective – and that goes doubly for Kate who is an excellent mum.”

Peter had asked his legal team to contact Katie – who also has four-year-old son Junior with the singer and seven-year-old Harvey from her relationship with soccer star Dwight Yorke – after he noticed the marks on his daughter’s skin.

At the time, reports suggested that the matter was a misunderstanding and that Princess was merely covered in smudged mascara.
However, Peter later denied that explanation, writing in his column for New! magazine: “Princess arrived at my house with some bruises on her face and body a couple of weeks ago, and I contacted my lawyers so they could find out from Kate what had happened. I wasn’t accusing Kate of anything at all but as her father I just wanted to find out if there was anything I should know.”

Alex has since defended Katie’s parenting skills, and confirmed that there were definitely no worrying bruises on the child.  He added in his column for Star magazine: “After examining Princess, the police sergeant told us there was no bruising on Princess that a two year old wouldn’t have from simply being a toddler, and she definitely didn’t have a black eyes.”

TMZ has learned Michael Lohan will be back in L.A. Monday … and he’s telling people he’ll start the legal ball rolling to create a conservatorship for Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay is in NYC but refuses to see MIchael … and daddy Lohan says it’s now time.

As for a possible conservatorship, Lohan is telling people he’d gladly serve as the conservator but is open to someone else assuming that role.

Michael Lohan also says he does not want his daughter to go to jail. As TMZ first reported, Lohan is on the fast track for a jail cell because she has squarely violated the terms of her probation. A court day of May 20 looms for Lindsay.

Michael wants Lindsay in rehab but not a traditional, group facility. He wants to go the Brooke Mueller route — a private home with lots of doctors. What Michael isn’t factoring in — that type of rehab is bocu expensive and Lindsay is broke.
