Robert Pattinson wants to hire a body double.

The ‘Twilight Saga’ actor is planning to step up his security after being bombarded by saucy mail from female admirers and came up with the idea of a decoy after one of his more dedicated fans started following him and girlfriend Kristen Stewart everywhere.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “He’s become the focus of a group of over-zealous female fans.

“Robert is constantly inundated with fan mail but one group of four girls have been targeting him repeatedly, telling him they want to do ruse, saucy things to him. One girl from Japan has started turning up wherever he is.

“Robert thinks there’s only one thing for it and that is to increase his security and use a body double. It may seem a bit extreme but at least he can now be in two countries at once and spend some quality time with Kristen.”

It was previously revealed that Robert needed 25 security guards to protect him when he was shooting his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight Saga’ movie franchise.

The British star said earlier this year: “They had to hire another ten security guards and they had to form a ring around you and it had to be every single day. And if you’re doing a movie for $1 million or $2 million, security is expensive. So you hire 25 security guards for one cast member.

“The whole thing got over-run and people are grabbing you and that’s just you on the way from set to trailer.”

Robert, 24, has previously admitted his legions of fans and the pressure of fame made him “really paranoid”.

He explained: “I was getting really paranoid. But then I realised that if tomorrow I say, ‘OK, I’ve had enough we’re stopping everything,’ it won’t change anything.

“Might as well try to accept it and stay Zen as I have no control over it. It’s not always easy. But whining won’t change anything.”

Kristen Stewart doesn’t want to be the next Angelina Jolie

The 20-year-old actress – who plays Bella Swan in the ‘Twilight’ movies – respects Angelina’s acting talents and commitment to humanitarian work but she would not want to trade places with her.

She said: “I don’t want to be Angelina Jolie. Not that Angelina Jolie isn’t the most talented, beautiful, successful, amazing, admirable person who does good things for the world, but I don’t want to be a movie star like that.”

Despite being in one of the biggest films of the moment, ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, Kristen doesn’t enjoy being in the limelight.

The brunette beauty – who is rumoured to be dating her co-star Robert Pattinson – added: “I don’t think there’s anything about being a celebrity that’s desirable. I understand, though, that everybody’s going to know who you are and what you look like, but why be so obsessive? People are in love with you and they don’t even know you. It can be isolating.”

Robert Pattinson feels guilty ‘Twilight’ fans camped out for days to see him at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’.

The 24-year-old actor – who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the movie series – didn’t know how to react when he heard people had been sleeping outside as early as last Saturday (19.06.10) to catch a glimpse of him last night (24.06.10).

Speaking at the premiere, which was held at the Nokia Theatre, Robert said: “They’ve been camping out. Some of them have been camping out since Saturday, apparently.

“I spiral into this oblivion of guilt whenever they say that because I don’t know what to do. All I can do is sign.”

The British star admitted he wouldn’t be out late to enjoy the fun of the premiere as he had to work today (25.06.10).

He revealed: “I have to work tomorrow (Friday). I have got a 5am start on a film – ‘Water For Elephants’.”

Discussing the impending end of the movie franchise – only the two-part ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ is left in the series – Robert said: “I like all the people that I work with and I guess I’m going to miss all the crowds as well.”

Robert was not the only major cast member to tread the special black carpet for the event.

Kristen Stewart – who plays Edward’s human girlfriend Bella Swan – wore a white dress by Elie Saab, while Taylor Lautner cut a dashing figure in a black suit and tie.

Kristen joked she wasn’t enjoying the glitzy event because of the size of her high heels.

She said: “I’m ready to go inside, but only because my feet hurt.”

Ashley Greene, Christian Serratos and Nikki Reed were among the other stars in attendance.

Robert Pattinson uses fan websites to check his schedule.

The ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ actor – who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the hit movie franchise –admits he is astonished at how quickly his supporters find out his plans and post the information on the internet, but admits he can use it to his advantage.

He said: “It’s kind of incredible the information they get so quickly. Sometimes I’ll check them to see what my schedule is on stuff, especially on the weekend when I can’t get through to my agency, or even to see my emails sometimes.

“It’s strange being in ‘Twilight’ because so much of the fan base is being on the internet and having a community with each other.”

Although the 24-year-old star feels there is a particular devotion to the ‘Twilight Saga’, he is aware that his appearance in the movies generates interest in his other work – even if it is just to boast to fellow fans of the vampire franchise.

He explained: “You see people turn up on sets of other movies I’ve done and take a picture. You know the main reason is so they can have a thing within their online community and you know it’s going to be up within five seconds. It’s strange.”

Jaden Smith is a huge Robert Pattinson fan. No marks for guessing that he belongs to team Edward! The 11-year-old star would love to star in a vampire movie with Rob.

In an interview with MTV News, Jayden said, “I’ve never met Robert Pattinson before, but I will just say that we should make a vampire movie together.”  Smith also revealed that he would love to have a role in ‘Breaking Dawn’. “Maybe they already shot it, but that’d be amazing to be in.”, he explained.

Smith is known for his roles in the films The Pursuit of Happyness, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and the 2010 remake of The Karate Kid. Smith collaborated with Canadian singer Justin Bieber for the theme song of Karate Kid, “Never Say Never”.

Justin Bieber’s fans knocked over his mother as they mobbed him at New Zealand airport last night (27.04.10).

The Canadian teen sensation was rushed through the terminal building to escape hoards of screaming teenagers, who stole his hat as they stampeded.

He later tweeted: “Finally got to New Zealand last night. The airport was crazy. Not happy that someone stole my hat and knocked down my mama. Come on people.”

‘Baby’ singer Justin’s mother wasn’t hurt when she was knocked over, and later tweeted fans to say she was OK.

She wrote: “Thanks for all ur support!! I’m ok thank you!!!(sic)”

Police told the singer to axe plans to sign autographs and take pictures with fans amid fear the crowd would get further out-of-control, prompting many of the waiting group to burst into tears.

However, most of the waiting supporters were just delighted to have caught a glimpse of their idol.

Fan Tory Shaffett said: “Oh my god, he was so amazing and beautiful. I can’t believe I saw him.”

Justin later implored fans to calm down or face other signing opportunities being scrapped.

He tweeted: “I want to be able to sign and take pics and meet my fans, but if you are all pushing security wont let me. let’s keep it safe and have fun. (sic)”

Hoards of teenage fans also forced the cancellation of a scheduled appearance by the 16-year old star in Sydney, Australia, earlier this week.

Police reported “mass scenes of hysteria” and 10 girls fainted as they waited through the night to watch their idol perform. Paramedics treated the injured on the scene, and the worst injury was to one fan who fractured their kneecap.

Pierce Brosnan has revealed his ‘Remember Me’ co-star Robert Pattinson was pursued by beautiful girls on set every day.

The former James Bond star – who plays Robert’s estranged father in the gripping family drama – had to make do with older admirers while the 23-year-old heartthrob soaked up the attention of screaming teenagers.

Pierce, who shot the movie with Robert in New York, told Empire magazine: “I remember being outside the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. We were shooting in the Oak Room and there were 2,000 girls out there from 12 to 21. Actually, there were some gorgeous looking girls out there, but they weren’t around my caravan. I had the mothers at my end and some beauties there were too! But it was very sedate by my end of the motor homes. I’d walk out and get a hearty cheer. I’d trip up the steps of the Plaza feeling very good with myself that I still have the juice. But as I’d be walking down the corridors into the Plaza I would hear this wave, this cacophony of sound as girls clamoured for Robert. His girls go through the rafters for him.”

The 56-year-old star thinks Robert – who has become an international heartthrob after playing vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ movies – will be able to handle his enormous fame, but he personally finds it almost incomprehensible.

He added: “I never experienced anything like that as a young man of 23. I’m sure he’ll weather the waters swimmingly. He’s a grand lad and I wish him well in every way.”

Robert Pattinson is terrified he’ll lose his hearing because of screaming fans.

The ‘Twilight’ actor – who is currently in the UK shooting his new movie ‘Bel Ami’ with Uma Thurman – claims the devoted female supporters who follow him everywhere could make him deaf because of the volume at which they screech.

The 23-year-old heartthrob said: “I’m almost completely deaf anyway. So I’m worried. I’m very worried.”

Robert’s ears aren’t the only part of his body which have been damaged by fans.

The actor was clipped on the legs by a taxi in New York last year while he was trying to run away from a horde of teenage girls who had come to see him film his latest release ‘Remember Me’.

Speaking of the incident, he said: “It was kind of chaotic.”

A source said at the time: “It’s non-stop busy all day with people trying to get a glimpse of him, and the crowd goes nuts when they do see him.”

Robert previously revealed he had to rely on the support of his castmates and the crew on ‘Remember Me’ to stop him being mobbed by his fans everyday.

He told BANG Showbiz: “Everyone was so supportive on set. I got everyone helping me out everyday. Fans were gathering on the street and the crew would have to get really close together and form a circle around me, so we were really close.”
