The Hollywood hunk – who was recently spotted on a dinner date with newly single Jenifer Lopez –was seen getting close to Scarlett when they partied together at the city’s Provocateur nightspot.

A source told LifeandStylemag.com: “Scarlett and Bradley arrived with a small group of friends, including model Cheyenne Tozzi, around two am.

“While Bradley was flirty with Cheyenne initially, after some drinks he turned his attention to Scarlett. The duo were hand in hand and more than flirty by the end of the night.” Bradley and Scarlett appeared together as lovers in the 2009 film ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’, and are thought to be reuniting on screen in new film ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’.

Friday was the second evening running the pair spent in each other’s company, after they were spotted with singer turned actor Justin Timberlake on Thursday (15.09.11) at 1OAK bar, also in New York. Simon Cowell reportedly split from fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy last month

The music mogul – who recently said he was “not sure” if he was still engaged to the make-up artist – is said to have called time on their relationship a few weeks ago although the break-up was amicable.

A source told The Mail on Sunday newspaper: “Simon and Mezhgan split up in August. He called it off and she wasn’t that surprised or even very bothered about it. Mezhgan told her friends she knew it had been coming for a while. She offered him the ring back but he has insisted she keep it.

“As with all his exes, he is being very generous, but he is already dating again and he has been on a dinner date or two with a mystery British brunette.”

Mezhgan – who put on a united front with Simon at the premiere of the US version of ‘The X Factor’ last week – is now living in Simon’s $5 million Beverly Hills home after moving out of the house they once shared.

The property is dubbed his “girlfriend graveyard” by friends because it is where his former lover Terri Seymour went after the pair separated in 2008.

Sources claim one of the reasons the couple – who got engaged last February after a whirlwind romance – split was because Mezhgan didn’t get on that well with Simon’s beloved mother Julie.

One said: “Simon knew it wasn’t going to end in marriage. There were commitment issues on his part and the added problem that Mezhgan didn’t get on all that well with Simon’s mother Julie.

Britain’s Duchess of Cambridge will not undertake solo royal duties until at least 2012

Duchess Kate – who wed Prince William in April this year – will not fulfil any solo engagements until at least next year as she adjusts to life within the royal family.

She will instead support her husband as he continues his training as a Royal Air Force search and rescue helicopter pilot in Anglesey, Wales. One aide said in the past people who marrying into the royal family have waited up to three years before taking on solo royal duties.

One senior courtier told the Daily Express newspaper: “I don’t think it’s going to be as long as that but I am just trying to put things in context. “Historically, women joining the Royal Family do not begin undertaking solo engagements until around two years after their marriage.”

Kate has already undertook official royal business alongside her husband, including her first official overseas visit, a trip to Canada shortly after their wedding.

She will also attend certain public occasions with William, such as appearing at the Cenotaph for the first time on Remembrance Sunday, on November 11. William and Kate are, however, set to spend less time in the public eye over the next year as they step back to allow the focus to be on Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012, marking 60 years of her reign.

Britain’s Prince Harry will party in Las Vegas while training in the US

The 26-year-old royal – who is renowned for a love of nights out – will spend 48-hours in the gambling city while undertaking a 12-week helicopter training course in California and Arizona later this year, as it is part of the “tradition” for those taking part.

A source told the Sunday Mirror: “It’s traditional that guys on his course, which is split between California and Arizona, have a break in Vegas at the halfway point. “The course doesn’t have much downtime, it’s pretty intense. This is a chance for pilots to let their hair down, kick back and enjoy themselves.”

As part of his US training, Harry – who was recently promoted to a Royal Air Force Captain – will learn how to use weapons systems on board a helicopter and take part in mock combat missions with American forces.

He will also be taught techniques which will help him avoid surface-to-air missiles. Harry recently enjoyed a holiday to Croatia, where he even jumped into a pool fully clothed at an open air nightclub on the island of Hvar.

Oprah Winfrey Network owner and former chat show host Oprah is placed at number 14, dropping from third place in 2010.

No showbiz stars made the top ten of the list, which is comprised of politicians and businesswomen including German Chancellor Angela Merkel at number one and other entrants US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Chief Operating officer of Facebook Sheryl Sandberg and Christine Lagarde, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The 54-year-old illusionist – who was previously engaged to supermodel Claudia Schiffer – and French girlfriend Chloe Gosselin welcomed a girl, named Sky, last year, but the news has only just been made public.

His spokesperson confirmed: “Forget vanishing the Statue of Liberty, David’s next illusion will be disappearing the dirty diaper. A lot more practical.”

David – who famously made iconic New York landmark the Statue of Liberty apparently disappear – is currently taking part in a magic show in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, and he is currently ranked as the 10th highest paid entertainer in the world according to Forbes magazine.

As well as his work as an illusionist, David is also heavily involved with his own Project Magic charitable scheme, where illusionists work with occupational therapists to help with the rehabilitation of people with physical problems.

Explaining the scheme, David has said: “It’s a programme that uses magic as a form of therapy for people with disabilities, where magic is taught to patients in hospitals to help them regain their dexterity and their coordination by learning sleight of hand, in addition to boosting the patient’s self-esteem by giving them a skill that an able-bodied person doesn’t even have.”

Audrina Patridge wants to do a movie version of ‘The Hills’

The reality star – who rose to fame on the show about a group of privileged youngsters growing up in Los Angeles – admits she had become “fed up” with the other people featured in the show, including Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari when it came to an end in summer 2010, but is now ready to reunite with them for a film.

The film’s producer Arnon Milchan says in new book ‘Confidential: The Life Of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon Arnon Milchan’: “At first, Jen didn’t believe he was involved with Angelina. She started asking around but no one would tell her anything because they were loyal to Brad, so she asked him point blank. He denied it.”

The pair went on a pre-planned holiday to the Caribbean with friends Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette to celebrate New Year 2005, but the strain proved too much and Brad confessed he was in love with Angelina, according to Arnon.

He added: “He eventually admitted he was in love with Angelina. Jen was furious and threw him out.”

According to Arnon, Brad only returned to his martial home to collect his belongings before moving into the producer’s house, where he would make a low-key entrance to the film set every day.

The book claims: “Brad drove each day to the set, and everywhere else, on a motorcycle and he wore a wraparound helmet with a tinted visor so no one would recognise him. He stayed with me for the duration of filming.”

Tax records from their Jolie-Pitt Foundation revealed the pair – who raise kids Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – gave away around $1.95 million to the ‘Fight Club’ actor’s Make It Right Foundation, which constructs homes for working families after it was set up in 2006 following Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

A source close to the couple said: “A lot of celebrities could learn a thing or two from Brad and Angelina.

“Not only do they give away much of their money, they make sure they do it in the very best way to the neediest causes.”

The pair’s generosity also saw them hand $1 million to the United Nations’ Pakistan Emergency Fund – which was established following extreme floods in the country – and $700,000 to a children’s cancer fund entitled Jane Etta, named after the 47-year-old actor’s mum, in Springfield, Missouri, where Brad grew up.

TMZ has learned … Kelsey Grammer and his ex-wife Camille have settled their child custody dispute — but only temporarily. And make no mistake about it — they’re still at war.

Sources tell TMZ … the agreement outlines who gets the kids, when and where, etc. We’re told Camille will have both kids more than Kelsey, but the agreement accommodates Kelsey’s work schedule.

The kids will not be separated. You’ll recall, at one point Kelsey’s lawyer recommended that the couple’s son would fly to Chicago to stay with him, and their daughter would stay with Camille in L.A.

Our sources say the underlying issues between the couple have not been resolved — i.e., money and permanent custody.

We’re told Camille is bitter at the way Kelsey has treated her and the kids, while Kelsey is angry because he feels Camille has been disrespectful to his new wife.

If they go for a walk, it turns into an international incident. “I’m really lucky, because I have the best of both worlds. He said in a brief speech: “Catherine and I have had a busy few days so the prospect of being able to let loose this afternoon is wonderful for me.

“That depends on the result out there today – I’m not a good loser.”

Guests at the $4,000-a-ticket event watched the prince score four goals as his team won 5-2, before tucking into lunch cooked by celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis.

Last night, the pair walked the red carpet at the BAFTA Brits to Watch event, to which Catherine wore a lilac Alexander McQueen gown and earrings borrowed from William’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

On arrival at the Belasco theatre, the couple met a small group of well-wishers before being introduced to the 14 table hosts at the event.

Meanwhile, in the ballroom, Duncan Kenworthy, vice chairman of British Academy of Film and Television Arts, reassured the star-studded crowd – which included Jennifer Lopez, Barbra Streisand, Jack Black, and Tom Hanks – on their interactions with the royals.

He said: “They want to meet all of you. They will try and chat to all of you this evening. When you meet them, you don’t have to bow and curtsy. You can call them whatever you feel, ‘Your Royal Highness,’ ‘Sir,’ ‘Ma’am,’ ‘William’ and ‘Kate’ – just as the mood takes you.”
Speaking on the red carpet ahead of the evening, Nicole Kidman said: “I think they are lovely, they just make you smile.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have to “hide behind some walls” to escape their celebrity status

The ‘Tree of Life’ star – who raises children, Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh five and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with the 36-year-old actress – thinks he now has his lifestyle down “pretty well” after spending 10 years getting used to being known as one of the world’s most famous actors.

He said: “It took me a good decade of hiding in my house and not going outside to even, like, get my arms around this idea of celebrity, where suddenly people are looking for you to pick your nose or get a shot of you kissing some woman.

“It’s a very discombobulating thing. But Angie and I have got it down pretty well. We have to hide behind some walls, but we’re good.”

Despite being happy with his domestic life, the 47-year-old hunk still struggles with his views on religion – having been brought up in the mid-west of the US, which well-known for its Christian views.

He told the Guardian newspaper: “I grew up in the f**king buckle of the Bible belt.

“This idea of an all-powerful, watching being that’s controlling our moves and giving us a chance to say he’s the greatest so we get into some eternal heaven – that just doesn’t work for me, man. I got a real problem with it.

“I see the value of religion and what it offers to people as a cushion and I don’t want to step on that. On the other hand, I’ve seen where I grew up how it becomes separatist, and I get quite aggravated and antagonistic.”

Sex scenes with Kate Winslet are “easy” according to Guy Pearce

The ‘King’s Speech’ actor appears alongside Kate in new TV miniseries ‘Mildred Pierce’, in which he plays her titular character’s lover Monty Beragon, and insists he had no problems filming intimate encounters with the screen beauty.

He joked: “Doing the (sex) scenes was easy – going home to my wife afterwards was tricky.”

Guy insists his wife of 14 years, psychologist Kate Mestitz, was quite accepting of the erotic sequences, but only as they were with Kate.

He added: “She said if it had to be anyone, she’s glad it was with Kate.”

The scenes were also easy for Kate – as she has admitted to having a crush on the character Mike, whom Guy played in soap ‘Neighbours’ in the early part of his career.

She told Radio Times magazine: “I had two heartthrobs in my whole teenage years; one was Patrick Swayze, and the other was Guy Pearce.

“I’d actually fake illness to stay off school and watch the 13.25 edition of ‘Neighbours’.

“Throughout ‘Mildred Pierce’, whenever we had an intimate scene or an intimate scene, before they said, ‘cut!’ I’d turn to the camera and break into the theme tune and, bless Guy, he was very good about it and he just sort of giggled. But I was pathetic, unashamedly pathetic, about the whole thing.”

Robbie Williams has been cheering up Joss Stone following an alleged plot to kidnap her

The Take That star is close friends with the British singer – after they performed together at the 2005 BRIT Awards – and after he heard the news that two men were allegedly planning to take her, he phoned her up and invited her backstage at the group’s show in Cardiff, Wales.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Robbie and Joss have been mates for years. He got straight on the phone to see if she was OK and invited her to Wales.

“She’s still in shock but Robbie did his best to put a smile back on her face. His cheeky chappy side was in overdrive when they met up after the gig.

“She was making light of it too, joking that it’s been like an episode of ‘Midsomer Murders’.”

Two men – Junior Bradshaw, 30, and Kevin Liverpool, 33 – were arrested earlier this week accused of conspiracy to rob and cause grievous bodily harm.

While the alleged plot must have been terrifying for Joss, she was keen to reassure fans she is fine following the ordeal.

She released a statement yesterday, saying: “I’d like to thank everyone for their concern but I’m absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their inquiries.”
