MJ’s Paranoia

MJ’s Family — Michael Predicted He’d Be Murdered
Michael Jackson’s family claims the singer predicted his own death shortly before he died – telling TMZ, the King of Pop was paranoid he’d be murdered … for his incredibly valuable Sony catalog.
The statement is in response to the story TMZ first broke in April — that Dr. Murray’s defense will argue MJ accidentally killed himself by self-injecting a lethal dose of Propofol.
But a rep for Michael’s family tells us the Jacksons are “absolutely mortified” by the implication that MJ took his own life — insisting, “Michael did NOT kill himself.
The rep adds, “What is incredibly ironic is that Michael told his mother shortly before he died that he thought someone was going to kill him … and they were going to kill him for his catalog.”
The family is also concerned that video surveillance of Michael’s last living moments — crucial evidence in Murray’s trial — is still missing.

‘This Is It’ Producer — Star Witness in MJ Prelim
Michael Jackson’s producer/director for the “This Is It” tour will be a star witness for the prosecution in Dr. Conrad Murray’s preliminary hearing which begins today … sources tell TMZ.
Our sources tell us … Kenny Ortega will testify that on June 19, 2009 — a week before MJ died — Michael complained he was cold, had the shakes and was unable to perform … so the rehearsal was canceled.
The next day — June 20 — an emergency meeting was held at Michael’s home. Kenny Ortega, several big wigs from AEG, Michael, and Dr. Conrad Murray were present. We’re told the meeting was “intense, loud and argumentative.” Kenny read Michael the riot act, imploring him to take better care of himself because the tour was imminent.
Ortega will testify, during the meeting, Dr. Murray said some “terrible things,” showing a lack of concern and respect for Michael. Our sources would not reveal specifics, but we’re told it’s “damaging” to Murray.
Ortega will also testify that on June 23 and 24 — the day before Jackson died — Michael did a complete turnaround in rehearsals, wowing the backup dancers and others present with his moves and singing.
Ortega’s testimony is important, because prosecutors will argue MJ was fine before Murray began pumping him with drugs the day he died.

Christina Aguilera Thinks Burlesque Dancing Can’t Be Too Raunchy
by cyan on Dec.14, 2010, under Actress, Dancer
Christina Aguilera thinks there is no such thing as being “too raunchy”.
The 29-year-old singer-and-actress thinks the “art form” of burlesque dancing is “empowering” to women and can never be too sexual.
Speaking at the UK premiere of her movie ‘Burlesque’ at the Empire cinema in London’s Leicester Square, she told BANG Showbiz: “I don’t think there is such a thing as too raunchy when it comes to the art form of burlesque. I think it’s very empowering to women to feel confident in their own skin and their own bodies and I think this movie definitely represents that.”
The blonde star makes her big screen debut in the movie and admitted she was nervous stepping on set for the first time but soon rose to the challenges of filmmaking.
She said: “It was scary at times and being a newcomer I definitely had a lot to face and new challenges everyday but I had an amazing time and got focused and down to business.”
Christina was joined at the premiere by the movie’s lead actress Cher and a host of other stars including Kristen Bell, Cam Gigandet and Chelsea Traille.
Guests walked a special pink carpet and Christina braved the cold to meet fans and sign autographs.

Freida Pinto’s Idol
by Abbey on Nov.26, 2010, under Actress, Artist, Dancer, Entertainment, Singer
Freida Pinto used to think she was a “great” Michael Jackson
The ‘Miral’ actress had dreamed of growing up to be a performer for a young age and used to practise routines – including those of the late King of Pop – in front of her mirror.
She admitted: “I have dreamt since I was the age of five that I wanted to become an actress. I didn’t know that I would do it professionally. But I knew that this was my area of interest.
“I would stand in front of the mirror and for the longest time I really thought that I was a great Michael Jackson impersonator.”
As well as dreaming of a career in the spotlight, Freida spent much of her childhood travelling the world and was grateful for the opportunities she had.
She told Total Film magazine: “Both my grandfather and my uncle were in the army – which meant we travelled a lot.
“As an army man, you keep getting posted in different places, so we’d use that as an opportunity to visit them and see new places.”

MJ Fans: Oprah’s Molestation Show Is No ‘Coincidence’
An official MJ fan group ain’t buying Oprah’s “purely coincidental” excuse — telling us, they are “angry and disappointed” that she’s airing her interview with MJ’s kids days after a special on child molestation.
A rep for the Official Michael Jackson Fans of Southern California tells TMZ, “We are both angry and disappointed in Oprah’s constant need to reference child molestation shows prior to airing Michael Jackson related episodes. Her tone seems to speak volumes.”
Oprah called the whole thing “purely coincidental” … but MJ fans aren’t convinced. The rep adds, “How can something so obvious be a coincidence?”
As we previously reported, Oprah’s big interview with Michael Jackson’s children is scheduled to air next Monday — three days after Friday’s big show … entitled “200 Adult Men Who Were Molested Come Forward.”

Rick Fox… 2 B Eliminated From ‘Dancing With The Stars’
by Abbey on Nov.03, 2010, under Dancer, Entertainment, TV
Rick Fox has become the seventh contestant to be eliminated from ‘Dancing With The Stars’
The retired basketball player and his professional partner Cheryl Burke were eliminated last night (02.11.10) despite gaining 24 points, their highest score in the competition for their quickstep on Monday’s (01.11.10) special 200th episode.
A visibly disappointed Rick said: “We were the couple going home. It’s a lot of work put in; you don’t visualise going home, you visualise being here every week. But it’s now something that both Cheryl and I are processing for the first time.
“Not having to go to the studio to rehearse tomorrow? That’s a hard pill to swallow.”
Despite his elimination, Rick admitted he had loved the experience saying it changed his life.
He explained: “It’s been a transformational journey for me, it’s been amazing. My relationship has transformed with my girlfriend and my daughter.”
Elsewhere, poorly-performing couples Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas, and Kurt Warner and partner Anna Trebunskaya were saved for yet another week, kept afloat by viewer votes – which are combined with the judges’ scores to produce the final results.
Bristol said: “I’m relieved and shocked. Can’t believe we made it to another week, but I’m thankful for the fans that voted for us.”
The results show featured musical performances by country music star Taylor Swift and singer Rod Stewart.
The eighth round of `Dancing With The Stars’ will take place next Monday (08.11.10).

The TooFab Q&A: Lacey Schwimmer
We got another The TooFab Q&A for you today — and this time we’re going one-on-one with “Dancing with the Stars” professional Lacey Schwimmer.
In a candid conversation with TooFab’s Brian Particelli, Lacey talked about Audrina Patridge’s shocking elimination, spilled a Kyle Massey secret and revealed possible plans to go TPing on Halloween!
On her chances of winning with partner Kyle Massey …
“You never have any idea with this show. Obviously, we ‘d love to be at the end, but at the same time we’re happy we’ve made it this far!”
On Audrina’s elimination …
“She’s so lovable and so sweet and was doing amazing on the show. I was definitely shocked to see her go. At this point in the game though, we’re shocked no matter what. We’re like a family, we never want to see anybody go. She’ll be really missed.”
On why Bristol Palin’s lasted so long, despite low scores …
“She’s more of the underdog and she knows she’s the underdog. She’s working her butt off, she’s sweet and such a great girl, she’s having a blast.”
On dancing with Kyle …
“He’s like a little brother. He’s super fun at all of our rehearsals. And I totally understand how my mom felt raising me and my brother.”
On what we haven’t seen on the show …
“Kyle has a basketball he named Jacko Wilson. It can’t leave his sight during rehearsals. He’ll go talk to it for 5 minutes. We play basketball, kickball with Jacko. It’s really fun.”
On their toughest competition …
“At this point, it’s hard to say. We’re all really consistent at this point, but there are ones that will definitely make it to the finale, like Jennifer [Grey].”
On coming back next season …
“I don’t know. I would love to if they asked me. It’s such a great gig, but you never know where a few months takes you.”
On what’s next …
“I have a bunch of little projects, including a dancewear/costume line, a bunch of musical projects and acting projects.”
Her Halloween plans …
“Probably nothing. Halloween lies on a Sunday, so Monday we’re live. I’ll probably be sitting around my house watching scary movies with my boyfriend sadly. Maybe we’ll dress up and go scare people. Or toilet papering. I love toilet papering. It’s such a favorite pastime of mine!”
To her fans …
“Thank you for everyone who’s keeping up the show, we hope we’re keeping things interesting!”
Lacey also wants all her fans to check out her new song with Cash Cash called “Red Cup” — which you can download in iTunes or by clicking here!

New Claim: Michael Jackson Supported His Dad

New Claim: Michael Jackson Supported His Dad
Michael Jackson secretly supported daddy Joe Jackson … according to new legal docs.
In legal docs filed in Joe’s wrongful death case against Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael’s former alleged manager, Leonard Rowe, wrote a sworn statement in which he claims Katherine acted as Michael’s agent, funneling money to Joe for support.
And Joe’s lawyer, Brian Oxman, wrote his own declaration in which he claims he prepared financial docs for Michael during his 2004 custody battle with Debbie Rowe. In those declarations, Oxman claims Michael disclosed he was giving Katherine $50,000 a month in the early 2000s and later it went up to $66,000. Oxman says Katherine used part of the money to pay for Joe’s living expenses.
The legal docs are being used in the wrongful death case to prove Joe has standing to sue — in other words, he must show Michael had been supporting Joe during his lifetime.
Michael’s camp had no comment.

Alecia Moore (born September 8, 1979), better known by her stage name Pink, is an American contralto singer-songwriter, musician, acrobat, dancer and actress, who rose to fame in early 2000. Alecia released her first single “There You Go”, on her first album, the R&B-oriented Can’t Take Me Home, in 2000 via LaFace Records, which garnered commercial success. Her more pop rock-oriented second studio album, Missundaztood, which began a marked shift in the sound of her music, was released in 2001 and was a huge success worldwide.
She released her third album, Try This, in November 2003, which although less successful commercially than her previous release, still managed to sell around 3 million copies and earned her a Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for the single Trouble. Her fourth album, called I’m Not Dead, was released in April 2006.
Alecia joined Choice in 1995, an American contemporary R&B girl group, which also included Chrissy Conway and Sharon Flanagan. A copy of their first song, “Key to My Heart”, was sent to LaFace Records in Atlanta, Georgia, where LA Reid overheard it and arranged for the group to fly there so he could see them perform. After this, he signed them to a record deal; because the girls were under 18, their parents had to co-sign the contract. The group relocated to Atlanta and recorded an album, and “Key to My Heart” appeared on the Kazaam soundtrack for the 1996 film of the same name. The group disbanded in 1998.

Michael Jackson — 2 Pay Or Not 2 Pay

Michael Jackson — To Pay or Not to Pay
The Michael Jackson Estate made some interesting calls when it came to creditors — who got paid, who didn’t, and who’s still waiting.
The estate made a bunch of decisions on creditors’ claims, but four stand out.
– Dr. Arnold Klein submitted two claims for medical services in the months before Michael Jackson died — totaling $58,522.89. Pretty ironic, since some people in the Jackson world believe Klein contributed to MJ’s death. The estate has taken no action so far — neither rejecting nor paying the dough.
– Tom Mesereau, the lawyer who did a remarkable job in Jackson’s 2005 molestation trial. Mesereau submitted a claim for $341,452.05. The estate paid the lawyer in full.
– Kai Chase, the cook who was at Jackson’s home the morning he died and the woman who interacted with Dr. Conrad Murray that day, submitted a claim for $8,000. The executors compromised with Chase and settled the claim by making partial payment. This one is interesting because some of MJ’s family got pissed off when she made the rounds on TV following his death.
– Raymone Bain, MJ’s longtime publicist and friend who had a mega falling-out with Jackson, had filed two claims totaling $404,000. The estate rejected the claim and Bain sued. The court tossed her case out.

Jackson Executors: How We Turned it Around
The executors in the Michael Jackson estate have just filed legal docs explaining how they turned chaos and financial ruin into a booming, postmortem business.
According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Jackson owed 10’s of millions of bucks at the time he died. We’ve previously reported how the Jackson family was about to lose their home in Encino and Jackson was on the brink of going belly up.
Executors John Branca and John McClain turned things around in a big way, for two primary reasons. First, they restructured all of his debts and got creditors to significantly lower killer interest rates.
Secondly, the executors went full bore to generate revenue — and the brass ring was the movie, “This Is It.” According to the docs, the flick grossed $260,000,000, the most lucrative documentary in history.
As for the album, “This Is It,” it sold 5 million copies, making it the 3rd biggest album in 2009.
As for other deals, the executors:
– Republished the “Moonwalk” book
– Made mega-merchandising agreements for all things Jacko
– Distributed a leather-bound, coffee table book on the life of MJ
– Renegotiated MJ’s royalty agreements with record label
But there were lots of legal fees that were incurred to make the estate money — more than $3.8 million since Jacko’s death.
The estate also notes what we’ve already reported — that they paid off the Jackson family home in Encino, bought Katherine Jackson a car and did lots of other stuff for the family.

Shakira Mebarak (born February 2, 1977), is a Colombian singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, dancer, and philanthropist who emerged in the music scene of Latin America in the early 1990s. Born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, She revealed many of her talents in school as a live performer, demonstrating her vocal ability with rock and roll, Latin and Middle Eastern influences with her own original twist on belly dancing.
Shakira released Pies Descalzos in 1995, which brought her great fame in Latin America and Spain, and her 1998 album ¿Dónde Están los Ladrones? was a critical success. Since then she has gained many fans in semi-Hispanophone countries, and many non-Spanish-speaking countries, especially the United States. In 2001, aided by the extreme popularity of the music video for “Whenever, Wherever”, she broke through into the English-speaking world with the release of Laundry Service, which sold over 13 million copies worldwide. Four years later, she released two album projects called Fijación Oral Vol. 1 and Oral Fixation Vol. 2. Both reinforced her success, particularly with the best selling song of the century to date, “Hips Don’t Lie”.
Her debut album, Magia, was recorded with Sony Music in 1990 when she was only thirteen years old. The songs are a collection penned by her since she was 8, mixed pop-rock ballads and disco uptempo songs with electronic accompaniment, however it was hampered by a lack of recording and production cohesion. The album was released in June 1991 and featured “Magia” and three other singles. Though it fared well on Colombian radio and gave the young Shakira much exposure, the album did not fare well commercially as only 1,200 copies were sold worldwide. After the poor performance of Magia, Shakira’s label urged her to return to the studio to release a follow-up record.
During an online chat with her fans in El Heraldo in February 2008, she revealed that work on her sixth studio album was about to begin. Furthermore, at Shakira’s cousin Isa Mebarak’s album release party in Colombia, Shakira’s father William Mebarak stated that Shakira was currently at work writing and producing new songs for her upcoming album. This was being done in “her own studio”, which many fans thought to mean the studio at her home in the Bahamas. Shakira recorded 2005’s Fijación Oral Vol. 1 and 2006’s Oral Fixation Vol. 2 there as well.
