Blake Lively flew to Australia at the weekend to celebrate her birthday with boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio

The ‘Gossip Girl’ star turned 24 last Thursday (25.08.11) and decided to jet Down Under to see her Hollywood heartthrob beau in Sydney – where he has been shooting his new movie ‘The Great Gatsby’ – on Saturday (27.08.11).

The couple – who have been dating since May – enjoyed a meal at exclusive restaurant Aria and were seated at one of the eatery’s best tables which boasts a panoramic view of Sydney Harbour.

A source told Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper: “[Blake] looked gorgeous and they looked very much like a couple. They seemed to be having a really nice time and were definitely enjoying the view.”

Blake is still in Australia with Leonardo, 36, and on Tuesday (30.08.11) the couple enjoyed a trip to Featherdale Wildlife Park in Doonside, western Sydney.

The pair saw a variety of animals and were even allowed to get up close and personal to some baby crocodiles during their visit.

Featherdale marketing manager Kellie Ames said: “We weren’t told who it was. We only knew when they arrived. I made sure I was the one who escorted them when I saw it was Leo. I’m a big fan of his movies.

“They were both so nice and down to earth. Leo was asking about the endangered animals. They loved the koalas and the wombats. We also brought out baby saltwater crocs. Neither of them seemed scared one bit. They were very calm.”

Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her 32nd birthday with a family party in Mexico

The reality TV star partied at ‘Girls Gone Wild’ founder Joe Francis’ Casa Aramara villa in Punta Mita, Mexico, with her partner Scott Disick, their 17-month-old son Mason, sister Kim and her boyfriend, basketball player Kris Humphries and a host of friends.

Kourtney – who reached the age on April 18 – embraced the host country of her party by donning a sombrero, shaking maracas and dancing with the resident mariachi band.

Kim was also pulled up onstage by Kris for an impromptu dance and the couple got close, sharing a kiss in front of the other revellers.

Kim later retweeted an old post which read: “Dance like the photo isn’t being tagged, love like you’ve never been unfriended & tweet like no 1 is following. (sic)”

Mason was also doted over at the bash with Kim teaching the tot how to blow out the candles on Kourtney’s birthday cake, before they all tucked into generous portions of the chocolate treat.

Kim wrote on her blog: “It’s so good to get away and just enjoy quality time with family and friends. Mason gives the funniest faces when a camera comes around! He’s just too cute (sic)!”

Kourtney appears to be a huge fan of the Casa Aramara villa, having spent her last four birthdays there.

It appears she didn’t want to leave either, as upon returning to Los Angeles after six days celebrating last month, she tweeted: “So sad to be home from the most amazing vacation in Mexico with the best friends and family ever.”

Kristen Stewart received a motorbike from the cast and crew of the ‘Twilight Saga’ to celebrate her 21st birthday.

The actress – who plays Bella Swan in the franchise opposite real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson, who stars as vampire Edward Cullen – reached the milestone age on Saturday (09.04.11) and was presented with the gift in Vancouver, where she is currently shooting the final two movies in the series, the two-part ‘Breaking Dawn’.

A source told UsMagazine.com: “Rob was so excited for Kristen and they each took turns riding it. Kristen learned to ride a dirt bike in ‘New Moon’ so they thought it would be appropriate. Rob was supervising as she sat on it to make sure she was OK. They looked like they were having a great time, and it will be something they can really enjoy.”

Kristen was also treated to a party by those working on the film on Saturday night and onlookers revealed she was “embarrassed” to be the centre of attention.

A source said: “Rob led the crowd singing for her, and you could tell she was so embarrassed but in a cute way! Everyone was in a good mood, but it was a bittersweet night (as filming is almost complete).

“Rob and Kristen were together all night. They held hands and he kissed her cheek a bunch of times.”

The 30-year-old actor – who has been romantically linked to the singer since October – showered the ‘Love Story’ hitmaker with several thoughtful presents when she turned 21 on December 13, and even took the time to make her a personalised card.

A source told In Touch Weekly magazine: “It’s an Oscar-worthy bracelet – nearly 30 carats of colourless diamonds set in white gold. It cost Jake about $100,000, but he wanted to do something special for Taylor’s birthday.

“They love coffee, so he sent her 21 pounds of the best Kona coffee available, along with a coffee grinder and a coffeemaker. And he made her a birthday card, as opposed to buying a generic one!”

As well as Jake’s efforts to please Taylor, the singer is also doing her best to make the actor happy, with her friends claiming she has even changed her style to suit her boyfriend’s tastes.

One insider explained: “She’s decided to get a more sophisticated look. She’s buying from stores like Chanel, Prada and Hermes.”

As well as the bracelet and the coffee, it has also been claimed that Jake paid $11,000 for a guitar signed by country music icon Chet Atkins for his girlfriend.

A source said: “He spent the weekend in Nashville with her and she saw the guitar in a tiny store which a lot of A-list musicians use.

“He was originally going to buy it just as a gift but it ended up being perfect for her birthday.”

Taylor Swift is planning a Christmas-themed birthday party.

The ‘Love Story’ singer – who is rumoured to be dating actor Jake Gyllenhaal – turns 21 on December 13 and loves celebrating during the festive season because it means there is less focus on her.

She explained: “I love having a Christmas themed birthday party so people can give each other presents at my birthday party, so it’s not so much a spotlight birthday [thing] — especially with a 21st birthday where people are like, ‘Huh? Huh? What’s she gonna do?’

“I didn’t want it to be a crazy club thing, I just want it to be very me and the me thing to do would be to have a Christmas birthday party.”

Taylor certainly has a lot to celebrate this year, as her latest album ‘Speak Now’ broke sales records in its first week of release earlier this year and she admits it took a while for the news to sink in.

On hearing the news she told US TV show ‘Access Hollywood’: “That was just a crazy phone call to get. To have the phone call with my mom and dad on the phone and my record label president says, ‘I guess you’re my million dollar baby!’ I was like, ‘Are you serious? Are you talking in code? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt celebrated son Pax’s seventh birthday with a river boat cruise in Paris

The couple took the youngster and three of his siblings – Maddox, nine, Zahara, five, and four-year-old Shiloh – on the French city’s River Seine yesterday evening (28.11.10) in a chartered boat named Josephine.

Birthday boy Pax was treated to a special cake while the boat was decorated with balloons.

Despite the cold weather Pax, Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh all seemed to have a great time although there was no sign of their two-year-old twin siblings Knox and Vivienne.

As well as celebrating Pax’s birthday, earlier in the day Brad and Angelina had taken Zahara and Shiloh Christmas shopping in the French capital.

The little girls were seen trying on clothes at the Bonpoint boutique, with Shiloh picking out trousers and a pair of zebra-patterned boots while Zahara chose black suede boots and a dress.

Shiloh – who is known for her tomboy style – also picked out two sets of medieval knight’s tunics for her and Pax, and also chose a large plastic alligator for Knox.

A fellow shopper at the store told People magazine: “Angelina was great. She’s patient, and a very hands-on mother, making certain everything fits.

“Brad was very agreeable, absolutely polite and excellent with the girls.”

In Las Vegas she partied at exclusive nightspot Tao on October 15 and was presented with a cake, and she received another baked treat while enjoying a birthday meal at a New York restaurant on October 18.

The actor – who plays the titular wizard character in the film franchise – is thrilled by the giant canvas he was given for his 21st birthday, despite the limited creative prowess of his co-stars.

He said: “For my birthday this year, the idea was to get a lot of the people in the cast and crew to contribute some art and it was going to be a masterpiece! I’m not sure it is, but I love it because I know everyone on it.”

The British actor – who has played the iconic character since 2001 – recently finished shooting the two-part ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’, and admits it has been hard work filming two movies in one go.

Discussing progress earlier this year, he said: “We’re sneaking up on ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ as the record holder for the longest shoot – although I suppose this is two films, so how they stretched that into an 18-month shoot I’ll never quite know. It’s great, it’s still good but it doesn’t feel like it’s ever going to end.”

The final installation of the franchise, ‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’, is to be released in two parts. The first will open in cinemas in November, and the second in July next year.

The ‘Twilight’ actor – who turned 24 on May 13 – spent last weekend at the Ritz-Cartlon in Laguna Beach with girlfriend Kristen Stewart, where they dined at the Raya restaurant before taking a midnight stroll on the beach.

A source told Hollywood Life.com: “They were making small talk, not chatting a lot, but seemed very comfortable with one another. They were low-key and not bugged by other guests, left to their own devices.”

According to other hotel guests, the pair – who sat next to each other so they could both enjoy the ocean view – dressed casually in jeans and T-shirts, with the British star drinking beer with his meal.

Another source said: “You could tell they were a couple. They kept to themselves and looked like normal kids their age. They didn’t stand out at all. They were dressed very casual – Robert with a baseball cap, jeans and sneakers, and Kristen was casual as well. Rob’s hair was cut really short!”

Bronx Mowgli – who actually turned one on Friday (20.11.09) – was treated to a ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’-themed bash at his grandparents Joe and Tina Simpson’s house in Encino, California, which even included an impersonator dressed as the goofy, yellow sea sponge.

Pete thanked his friends and family on Twitter for a “rad b-day for Bronx. (sic)”

The tot was joined by 30 family and friends – including his pop star aunt Jessica Simpson – who tucked into birthday cake and played on a giant bouncy castle.

Last week, Pete revealed his plans behind opting for the cartoon theme.
