Robert Downey Jr’s wife Susan Levin is pregnant

The couple – who have been married for six years – are set to welcome the new addition to their family in February, 37-year-old Susan’s aunt has revealed.

Nancy Miller told America’s Star magazine: “I think it’s wonderful that she’s pregnant.

“The baby is due in February. Susan’s father, my brother, called me about three weeks ago with the good news. Her parents are over the moon about it.

“It [doesn’t] really matter if it’s a boy or a girl. What really matters is that the baby is healthy.”

While the baby will be film producer Susan’s first, Robert, 46, already has an 18-year-old son Indio from his first marriage to actress-and-singer Deborah Falconer.

Robert – who has battled drug addiction in the past – has previously credited Susan with providing him with a more stable relationship than he had with first wife although he admitted he is constantly surprised by how much work it takes to make a marriage successful.

He said: “Susan is cut from a slightly different cloth from Deb and I, and she’s provided a great new framework for lots of things.

“Susan doesn’t care if this building fell down and we never did another movie again so long as we were happy and loving and together, but so long as it hasn’t, she’s operating on the fact there’s a lot of s**t to get done.

“She is a master at it – I wouldn’t be surprised if she built the pyramids.

“Do we have to work at the relationship? More than I thought. And usually more than I would care to.

“But ultimately, it’s nice to have pure communication with, for me, a woman. Historically this is not something that, for me, was not really achievable.”

Beyonce Knowles is pregnant.

The ‘Run the World (Girls)’ singer arrived at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) last night (28.08.11) in a loose fitting orange dress, and clutched her visible baby bump as she posed on the red carpet.

She told the press: “I have a surprise!”

Beyonce’s publicist later confirmed the news, telling People.com: “I’m happy to say it’s true.”

The child will be the first for the 29-year-old and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, who married in 2008.

During the VMAs Beyonce first cheered on Jay from the side of the stage as he performed new single ‘Otis’ with Kanye West, then wowed the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles herself, singing ‘Love on Top’. She told the crowd: “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside of me.” As she sung, Beyonce proudly rubbed her bump, and the cameras panned over to Jay-Z, who had a huge grin on his face. The performance was met with a standing ovation.

Beyonce has recently hinted she was thinking of settling down, saying earlier this month how she was hoping to “dedicate herself” to having children. She said: “When you’re young – 18 or 19 – you have the energy and drive. That’s the time to work as hard as you can. “Now I’m a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children.”

David and Victoria Beckham’s new daughter is believed to have been named after a Disney character

The naming of Harper Seven, who was born in Los Angeles on Sunday (10.07.11), is thought to have been largely influenced by her three brothers – Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz – who wanted to call their sister Harper Finkle, a character played by Jennifer Stone in TV show ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’.

A friend of the couple told The Sun newspaper: “The boys love ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ – and have been very vocal in helping to name their new sister.

“David and Victoria think it is a lovely name. The whole family is pleased with the choice – the boys are very happy.

“Seven is something they had talked about. They were still not certain when the baby was born but it all seemed to fall into place.

“She was born in the seventh month in the hour of seven and weighed seven pounds. It just seemed right. David is keen on the meanings and power of numbers. We all hope it will bring her luck.”

The soccer superstar also wore the number seven shirt when he played for Manchester United and captained the England team.

Following the arrival of Harper Victoria has told husband David they are not having anymore children, insisting their family is now “complete” after going through a pregnancy that left her with back pain and bunions.

A source said: “With three great boys and now a beautiful girl Victoria is insisting their family is complete.

And a friend added: “Victoria is determined not to have to go through that again.”

Victoria Beckham has given birth to a baby girl

The fashion designer and her soccer star husband David – who already have three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz, together – welcomed their daughter into the world this morning (10.07.11) at Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai hospital.

The tot weighed 7lbs 10oz although her name is yet to be revealed.

A spokesman for the couple – who have been married for 12 years – said: “David and Victoria Beckham are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter.

“Happy and healthy she arrived at 7.55 am this morning at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.

“Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family.”

Victoria – who has made no secret of her desire to have a daughter – recently said she felt “blessed” to be pregnant again even though it’s tough being a working mother.

The 37-year-old star said: “As any working mother out there knows, it really is like juggling glass balls when you’ve got the kids and a husband to look after, and you’re passionate about your career.

“But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m blessed.”

Victoria Beckham still has a “little while to go” until she gives birth

The 37-year-old fashion designer – who is believed to be booked in for a caesarean section at a hospital in California to deliver her and husband David Beckham’s fourth child later today (04.07.11) – is still awaiting the arrival of the couple’s first daughter.

Her spokesperson told gossip website RadarOnline.com: “She still has a little while to go.”

The couple – who already raise sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz – recently admitted July 4 will always be a special day for them, not just because it is when their first daughter could be born.

Speaking at the launch of his soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy’s new strip, David explained: “Obviously we got married on July 4, 12 years ago, Monday, so it’s a special day for us, it always has been and always will be.”

Meanwhile, the sports superstar explained he is overwhelmed by all the pink items now in their male-dominated home.

He added: “It’s a whole new, different thing for us. To have so much pink in the house, lilac in the house and dresses. All the clothes are ready, the room’s ready. We’re really excited.”

The couple – who have three sons, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and five-year-old Cruz – are believed to have found out after a 16-week scan the private Rivers Hospital in Hertfordshire, southern England, that they will be adding a healthy baby girl to their brood this summer.

A friend of the pair told The Sun newspaper: “David and Victoria are over the moon. This will be their last child and to be told they are having a girl is the icing on the cake for the Beckham clan.

“Victoria is 36 and David is thinking about life after retirement. For them, with a sister for their boys – who are growing up fast – this is the perfect family. All their dreams have come true. They couldn’t have wished for more.”

Victoria has made no secret of her desire to have a little girl in the past, saying she would love someone to do girly activities with.

She explained: “I can imagine painting her nails, putting on make-up and choosing clothes with her.

Miranda Kerr has reportedly given birth to a son

The Victoria’s Secret model and husband Orlando Bloom welcomed their first child into the world late on Thursday (06.01.11), it has been claimed.

Though news of the new arrival has not been officially confirmed, gossip website X17 Online report the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor could be overheard outside the Los Angeles hospital where his spouse gave birth bragging about “my son”.

Miranda, 27, married Orlando, 33, in July and announced the pregnancy in August.

She found out she was pregnant while shooting a fashion campaign in Paris, France, following weeks of nausea.

Miranda’s parents flew from her home country of Australia at the end of December to be with her for the arrival of their grandchild.

The couple have previously stated they didn’t want to find out the sex of the child before the birth and the catwalk beauty has insisted she wants to completely focus on motherhood after the birth.

She said: “For me, family is life. The decision to start one wasn’t complex at all.

“My career has been wonderful, but it’s not my life. I don’t feel pressure to get back to work.”

Explaining her vision for the future, she added: “My goal involves a hammock, a vegetable patch, and a solar-powered house. And I hope to eventually get there.”

Rachel Stevens has given birth to a baby girl

The former-S Club 7 singer and husband Alex Bourne welcomed their first child, who they have named Amelie, into the world this morning (16.11.10) and mother and baby are “doing really well”.

A statement released to BANG Showbiz read: “Rachel Stevens and Alex Bourne are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter Amelie. She arrived this morning at 2.05am; mother and baby are both doing really well.”

Rachel, 32, announced her pregnancy in May and said she was delighted at the prospect of becoming a mother.

She said: “We are thrilled and so excited about becoming parents.”

She has previously revealed she was very keen to start a family with Alex, although she was unsure what kind of mother she would be.

She said: “We’d absolutely love to have children. I think having children is the most amazing thing.

‘I don’t think I can tell what kind of mum I’d be until I go through it. It’s such a life-changing thing. But I do have a little niece and nephew so I can just about change a nappy. Alex would be a great dad – he’s very hands-on.”

The Spanish actress has released a statement through her spokesperson confirming she is expecting her first child with husband Javier Bardem.

The 36-year-old beauty was photographed recently with what seemed to be a baby bump while shooting scenes for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ and it has now been revealed she is four-and-a-half months pregnant.

Penelope has been notoriously private about her life, marrying 41-year-old Javier in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas in early July.

However, she has previously confirmed her desire to have children, although she confessed she would be happy to adopt.

She said: “I’d love to have kids. Maybe I’ll adopt about 20 children – that’s been my dream since I was a little girl. I want to have my own kids, but also adopt. For a while I’ve had the feeling that my life won’t be complete if I don’t adopt.

“I think I would be a perfect mother. I love babies.”

Penny Lancaster and Rod Stewart are having another boy

The couple – who already have a four-year-old son, Alastair, together – recently announced they are expecting their second child and decided to find out the baby’s sex, leaving little Alastair delighted he is going to have a brother.

Penny – who conceived through in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) - said: “I had a scan and, although it was quite early on, the doctor said he was 99 per cent certain it was a boy. You should have seen Alastair’s face when he found out he was most likely having a brother. It’s exactly what he wanted and his happiness made all the IVF treatments worthwhile.”

Penny – who married rocker Rod in 2007 – says she was desperate to have another child because Alastair was keen for a sibling his own age.

The 39-year-old model told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “Rod and I felt blessed already with Alastair but he’s always talked about his friends who had sisters or brothers. He’d return from play dates with my brother’s kids and say, ‘It’s not fair, they’ve got each other and I have no one.’ He has got siblings from Rod’s previous relationships but they’re much older. The youngest, Liam, has just turned 16 but he’s six foot tall!

“Alastair really wanted a little companion and always said he wanted a baby. I’d tell him it takes three things – Mummy, Daddy and God – and that maybe God thinks we’re so lucky to have him that he wants to give babies to other people who don’t have children. I said we were trying and praying and putting in as much effort as possible to give him a brother or sister.”

As well as Alastair and Liam, Rod, 65, has five other children from previous relationships.

The former Spice Girls star – who has a three-year-old daughter Angel with the comedian – admitted she doesn’t think the ‘Flubber’ star will ever have a role in the tot’s life because of his conduct during her pregnancy.

She explained: “Angel is three and I didn’t expect her real biological father to pop back into her life. I think, in my mind, I fought so hard for justice at the very beginning of my pregnancy. I was hanging my head in shame because everyone was like, ‘Is that really the father?’ but I knew what I knew.

A DNA test eventually proved Eddie was the father of Angel, but Mel – who also has an 11-year-old daughter Phoenix Chi with first husband Jimmy Gulzar – admitted the period when he denied fathering Angel was a “horrible” time.

Mel – who is now married to producer Stephen Belafonte – added on her new reality TV show ‘It’s A Scary World’ : “I had to keep my head down – I had no choice but to just carry on with everything. It brings up all that again and all that hurt I went through by myself and pregnant.

“I had to move to the beach, I had paparazzi following me everywhere, I had people calling me a gold digger and saying that I got pregnant on purpose. It was a horrible time so I had to make sure I wasn’t frustrated by what everyone was saying and forget what actually went on.”

Joe Jonas — Ready to Fight Over Demi Lovato

Joe Jonas is prepared to go to war over a blog posting that insists he and his underage ex-girlfriend Demi Lovato are currently “friends with benefits” … in fact, Joe’s lawyers are already on the attack.

TMZ has learned … Joe’s attorney just fired off a letter to a Canadian entertainment blogger named Zack Taylor … blasting the guy for a story he posted which implied that 20-year-old Joe and 17-year-old Demi “are involved in an illicit relationship.”

In the letter, obtained by TMZ, Jonas’ attorney claims the story is “completely false, offensive and defamatory” — and accuses Taylor of a “malicious attempt to attack and devalue [Joe's] good name and reputation.”

Team Jonas is demanding that Taylor pull the post ASAP … or else a lawsuit may follow.

Zack Taylor had no comment on this story.

The blonde beauty – who had her first baby Hank Baskett IV with husband Hank Baskett in December – wants to expand her brood in the near future because she wants her children to be close in age.

She said: “Yeah, about baby number two, we’re talking about it. Hank the other day just freaking called me and was like, ‘I want another baby. I want you pregnant!’

“I definitely want to try by next summer for sure. I want them close in age.”

However, the reality TV star admits Hank is really busy at the moment preparing for the start of the National Football League in September with his team the Philadelphia Eagles – leaving little time to plan for a new baby.

She told ‘E! News’: “Everything is up in the air. That’s what’s crazy about our lives. Hank right now is doing the most amazing job in training camp, but right now we’re like, ‘Is he going to make the team?’

Penny Lancaster is pregnant

The 39-year-old model is expecting her and husband Rod Stewart’s second child together. They already have a four-year-old son, Alastair.

A statement released by the couple to Hello! magazine read: “Penny and Rod were lucky enough to be celebrating more than just their third wedding anniversary in June, as the news came that Penny was pregnant with their second child.

“We were thrilled and delighted to be able to tell Alastair that he was going to be the big brother to a little baby, expected just before mummy’s 40th birthday.”

An additional statement from Penny’s agents Nicholas Young and Veronica Pieters at Crawfords said: “Everyone in the office is overjoyed at this wonderful news. Penny is such a lovely person and a brilliant mum and we wish her, Rod and Alastair all the very best.”

The baby is due just weeks after Rod celebrates his 66th birthday on January 10 2011.

Rod and Penny married in Italy in 2007 following his proposal to the British model on the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris in 2005.

In November, the ‘Maggie May’ singer – who has six other children from previous relationships – revealed he and his wife were trying for another baby.

Christina Applegate is pregnant.

The ‘Samantha Who?‘ star is expecting her first child with her musician fiance Martyn Lenoble and the couple are said to be “thrilled” with the news.

Christina’s representative confirmed she is expecting to People magazine. No other details are known at the time of writing.

The 38-year-old actress and bass player Martyn, 41, got engaged on Valentine’s Day (14.02.10) after dating for two years, but are yet to set a date for the big day.

Earlier this year, Christina admitted she was keen to start a family with Martyn.

She said: “What’s next? Babies, lots of babies. Well, not lots of babies, but a couple.”

The TV star has also previously praised Martyn for helping her overcome breast cancer in 2008.

Christina – who had to undergo a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with the disease - said: “I have a small but mighty support system and Martyn has really been an incredible part of my life. “Without him, I don’t know if I could’ve gone through any of it. He came around at a time when there was a lot of loss in my life on many levels, so he’s been a really incredible help.”

Spousal Abuse Investigation In Mel Gibson Case

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. has opened a domestic violence investigation and TMZ has learned the probe is in connection with Mel Gibson’s alleged attack against his baby mama Oksana Grigorieva.

Sources tell TMZ the alleged incidents occurred in Malibu in both January and February of this year.  We’re told it’s a “spousal abuse” investigation and the alleged victim is Oksana.   Sources tell TMZ Sheriff’s deputies interviewed Oksana on Monday.

The Sheriff’s Dept. has released a statement claiming investigators are “currently gathering information regarding the allegations.”

Mel Gibson: She’s Lying and She Secretly Taped Me

Mel Gibson’s baby mama Oksana Grigorieva was bitter over a custody agreement she signed, and that’s why she made up the story that Mel beat her up … this according to sources connected with the actor.

TMZ broke the story … Oksana’s lawyers went to court last Monday and got a domestic violence restraining order against Mel after telling the judge Mel beat Oksana up last January.

According to sources connected with Mel, on January 6, 2010, Mel and Oksana were arguing at home when Oksana took baby Lucia, ran around the backyard, threw herself on the ground, came back inside the house and began shaking Lucia like a ragdoll. Mel followed and the sources acknowledge there was physical contact, but insist Mel did not punch her and was just trying to protect the baby.

The sources say Oksana began traveling the world with Mel and made no mention to anyone about being the victim of brutality at the hands of M.G.

In May, after the couple split, there was a mediation in which Mel and Oksana got joint legal custody of Lucia – Oksana got primary physical custody and Mel got visitation, which included overnights. The deal was … the arrangement was eventually supposed to turn into 50/50 custody.

On one occasion, while Oksana was touring Russia for her singing career, Mel went to her house to see Lucia. Oksana’s mother was there and told him to stay overnight with the child, which he did. Oksana’s mother even let the bodyguard go for the night. Oksana had no problem with this, sources say.

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ Oksana regretted agreeing to the mediated custody settlement and wanted to limit or even exclude Mel’s contact with Lucia.

A week ago Friday, Mel’s representatives got a call from Oksana’s lawyer, saying Oksana would not allow Mel to spend time with Lucia on Father’s Day … something to which she had already agreed.

According to sources, at noon on Monday, Oksana’s lawyer called Mel’s rep and said she got a restraining order against him to stay 100 yards from her and couldn’t even see Lucia until a hearing in July.

The next day, Mel’s lawyer went to the judge and got the restraining order modified, allowing him to see Lucia — just like it was agreed before.

During the hearing, it came out that Oksana had secretly taped arguments she had with Mel. The judge ordered the tapes sealed and also ordered Oksana not to talk publicly about the recordings.

And, we’re told, the judge was extremely unhappy with Oksana’s lawyer for not revealing that there had been a mediated custody agreement in place.

The 24-year-old singer believes the demands of motherhood affect an artist’s creativity in a negative way and at the moment all she wants to do is focus on her music career.

She said in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine: “I’m terrified of babies. I think, creatively, as a woman, you change once you give birth. I’m totally not ready for that.”

The eccentric singer also spoke about the love she still has for an ex-boyfriend, who she refers to only as a heavy metal drummer called Luke.

Gaga credits him with helping her become the pop megastar she is today.

She explained: “I wouldn’t have been as successful without him. I’ve never really loved anyone like I loved him. Or like I love him. That relationship really shaped me. It made me into a fighter.

“But I don’t want to talk about him… he’s too precious to talk about.”

Kelly Preston’s pregnancy has “changed her life”.

The actress and her husband John Travolta – whose 16-year-old son Jett died after suffering a seizure in January 2009 – recently revealed they are expecting a baby, and her mother Linda Carlson believes the new addition is just what the couple and their 10-year-old daughter Ella need to get over their grief.

Linda said: “We are over the moon I’ve been praying that this would happen, especially since Jett’s death. Anything to get them out of their sorrow. I know Kelly has been longing for another baby. She just loves babies! So do I. I just can’t wait for this child to arrive. It’s taken them out of such deep grief and made them able to focus on new life.

“It couldn’t come at a better time. Her aura is so filled with peace. It’s changed their lives.”

Linda has promised the baby will be taught all about their late brother as they get older.

She added: “He’ll see the pictures and he’ll be told stories. He or she, whatever.”

Despite her advancing years, 47-year-old Kelly is not concerned about the effect her age may have on the baby’s health.

Linda said: “She’s not worried about it at all. She’s not concerned. She takes really good care of herself and she’s in good health. She looks so much younger.”

Shortly after Jett’s death, the family were victims of an extortion plot, which Linda believes worsened their grief over the teenager’s passing.

She added to Usmagazine.com: “They have been through so much. Not only losing Jett but those horrible men trying to extort them! Unbelievable. It was awful on them, they were grieving so badly. They do weather it, but holy cow, such grief. John was devastated, just devastated.”

Mariah Carey is pregnant.

The 40-year-old singer is said to be “very excited” about expecting her first baby with husband Nick Cannon – who she married in May 2008 – but is trying to keep the news quiet.

A source told RadarOnline.com: “They’re both very excited and very happy.

“Mariah and Nick want to keep the pregnancy quiet as long as they can.”

A spokesperson for the star refused to confirm or deny the news.

Her representative Cindi Berger said: “I am not at liberty to discuss Mariah’s personal life at this time.”

Mariah first hinted she was planning a family in March.

Speaking at the Independent Spirit Awards, she said: “Something else very special is on the way.”

The singer recently dropped out of her next movie, ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf’, citing medical reasons, which further fuelled rumours of a pregnancy.

Claudia Schiffer has named her baby Cosima Violet Vaughn Drummond.

The German supermodel gave birth to her new daughter on May 14 at London’s Portland Hospital and now she and her film producer husband Matthew Vaughn have decided on a moniker for their new arrival.

Claudia’s publicist told Welt Online: “Her name is Cosima Violet Vaughn Drummond. Both mother and child are fine.”

Claudia and Cosima have now left hospital and are back at home.

The couple – who have two other children, seven-year-old son Caspar and five-year-old daughter Clementine – wanted to wait until “the whole family met the newborn” before they announced her name to the world.

Cosima is an Italian name derived from the Greek word kosmos which means “order or decency”. In the 2007 book ‘The Baby Names Bible’, written by Pamela Redmond Satran and Linda Rosenkrantz, it was described as a fashionable name for the daughters of members of high society in the UK.

Although she lives in England, Claudia recently revealed she wants to spend some time in her native Germany with her family when Matthew is working on the new ‘X-Men’ movie.

The catwalk beauty – who married Matthew in 2002 – said: “I would like to move to Berlin with Matthew and the kids for a few months. If we’re lucky he’ll be shooting some of ‘X-Men’ in Berlin. I would love that. Berlin is like being abroad in Germany. It’s German, but not provincial. Everyone loves it. My friends often tell me how very German I still am.”
