Megan Fox wants to have children when her bank balance is right

The ‘Transformers’ actress – who married actor Brian Austin Green – admits she is keen to start a family soon but only wants to do so when she thinks she has plenty of money to support them.

She said: “I want to have children. I’ve always wanted kids. I have a number in my mind of what amount of money I want in the bank so that I can protect that child’s future.”

The 25-year-old star adds she does not always think of herself as beautiful – despite being named Sexiest Woman in the World by FHM magazine in 2008 – because she was not the most attractive girl in school. She said: “I was never the beautiful girl in my school – I mean, I had braces and I died my hair orange. I was not the popular girl. I was always the loner. I was drawn to this industry for other reasons.” However she admits her job in Hollywood has not always been easy.

She added to The Hollywood Reporter: “Careers sort of go up and down. Not everybody makes a hit every single time. There’s no particular technique. Most of the time it’s just about survival.”

‘Spartacus: Blood and Sand’ star Andy Whitfield has died

The 39-year-old star – who played the Thracian slave in the TV series – lost his battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma disease at the age of 39, 18 months after being diagnosed with the cancer.

His wife Vashti issued a statement yesterday (11.09.11) explaining he died on a “sunny Sydney morning” in the “arms of his loving wife”.

The announcement said: “On a beautiful sunny Sydney spring morning, surrounded by his family, in the arms of his loving wife, our beautiful young warrior Andy Whitfield lost his 18 month battle with lymphoma cancer.

“He passed peacefully surrounded by love. Thank you to all his fans whose love and support have help carry him to this point. He will be remembered as the inspiring, courageous and gentle man, father and husband he was.”

Chris Albrecht, president and CEO of Andy’s TV network Starz, released a statement describing him as an “inspiration to us all” and praising him for his “courage, strength and grace” during his battle with cancer.

The statement said: “We were fortunate to have worked with Andy in ‘Spartacus’ and came to know that the man who played a champion on-screen was also a champion in his own life.

“Andy was an inspiration to all of us as he faced this very personal battle with courage, strength and grace.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. He will live on in the hearts of his family, friends and fans.”

The Welsh actor was preparing to shoot the second series when he was diagnosed with cancer, and while waiting for his expected recovery the network produced prequel ‘Spartacus: Gods of the Arena’, which Andy had a voiceover role on.

In January, Starz announced Liam McIntyre would take Andy’s role on ‘Spartacus…’ after his condition started to worsen.

Kylie Minogue’s parents are among the few people who don’t pressure her about having children

The 43-year-old singer – who has been dating Spanish model Andres Velencoso for three years – is sick of people asking her when she plans on having kids but is grateful her parents aren’t trying to force her to become a mother.

She told YOU magazine: “I hate the question, ‘So when are you going to have children?’ But amazingly I have never heard it from my mum or dad. They never put pressure on any of us. For a while it looked liked it would never happen for us all and then boom, boom, boom.

“The only answer I have is, ‘If it happens for me –beautiful.’ I’ll have to wait and see. I love children and I love the thought of having a family. And Andres is really good with kids.”

While Kylie hasn’t ruled out having children in the future, for now she is content to dote on her nephews.

She said: “Don’t get me started talking about my nephew. My brother Brendan’s son Charlie is five now and his little brother James is two and Dannii’s boy Ethan is one. They all came to see my show in Melbourne and I could see them from the stage. I kept looking over to see if they were still there.”

Although Kylie calls herself a “serial monogamist”, she admitted she is reluctant to settle down and tie the knot.

She explained: “I don’t like to be boxed in. Maybe that feeling has affected my attitude to marriage. But it isn’t about fearing a commitment – I am committed. I’m a serial monogamist and I have never run off. It’s just that I need to be able to breathe.”

The actress avoids the web and never Googles herself because she doesn’t want to read criticism of her and her movies.

She told InStyle magazine: “I’m really rubbish with the internet, I try to stay away from it as much as I can. I read magazines more than blogs, but I’m terrible with trends. People come up and say to me, ‘What’s your style?’ And I’m like, ‘I really don’t know, I just know what I like. And what I think is cool.”

The ‘Clash of the Titans’ star isn’t the only actress who has an aversion to computers.

Angelina Jolie is a self-confessed technophobe and often has to ask partner Brad Pitt for help turning on their computer.

Britney Spears sees exercise as “spiritual thing”

The ‘Toxic’ singer keeps to a strict workout regime in order to be in peak condition for performing on her current ‘Femme Fatale’ tour and feels it goes beyond simply working out.

She told Britain’s Glamour magazine: “[Exercise] is a spiritual thing, it helps your mind and your body and it’s all connected. So, yes, I think it’s really important to take care of yourself in that way.

“I work out every other day, and sometimes every day. I run a lot on the treadmills in hotels when I’m on tour and I do light weights and a little bit of cardio.”

However, Britney has also long been a fan of calorific treats and in the past has been known to go on junk food binges, which reportedly caused her to put on 14lbs in one month during her 2009 ‘Circus’ tour.

A source said at the time: “She does not think about the calories in the food, just that she likes it. She loves greasy food and creamy sweets and hates fruit and vegetables.”

To regain her figure, the singer subsequently put herself on a 1,600 calorie-a-day diet.

“She’s completely cut herself off from him to cleanse herself of him, including deleting his number from her phone.”

The friend added: “What happened on the night of her party was a blip. Since then she’s taken time out again from him and now believes she was wrong. She can’t go back and try and right the wrongs of their marriage.

“What’s done is done and she’s got her head straight and believes it’s time for a new Cheryl.”

Cheryl has reportedly even agreed to go on a date with a self-made millionaire who has been desperate to meet her.

The mother-of-four told the Daily Record newspaper: “Stop striving for perfection because there is no such thing. We have to look beneath the surface and I think that we can’t take it personally and literally. We can’t judge a book by its cover, you have to read the book.

“How do you expect to know a person? You can’t expect to know who they are by reading an article in a magazine about them. We live in a society that is obsessed with celebrities and it’s pretty easy to get famous very quickly now. I so I think there is an obsession with celebrity and people mistake getting to photograph somebody in their backyard, playing on the swings with their children, as actually some kind of intimacy. But it’s an illusion.”

She told BANG Showbiz: ” Well I didn’t realise how deeply loved the character was when I signed on to play Emma. I wish I didn’t really know! It became even larger when people kept asking me, ‘So you’re playing Emma? Will you be doing this with the character? Will you be doing that?’ I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, people know every word of this book!’

“I quickly realised I was going to disappoint a lot of people. People have their own idea about who these characters are and how they act and how they sound.”

However, the brunette beauty did struggle to deal with the criticism and weight of expectation.

She added: “I’m a book lover. I feel possessive of my beloved stories as well but I am also a movie lover. I know that there are things you can do on screen that you can’t do with a book. Often times, a book will be wonderful in a different way.

“Yes of course there was pressure, some days it got to me, yes there were days when I would liken it to walking between two dams with criticism on either side and you just hope, ‘Please don’t crumble today I really can’t take it.’ There are a lot of things to enjoy. I tried not to let it get to me.”

David Beckham cuts his own hair

The soccer ace has sported a number of daring hairstyles during his career, including a Mohawk, and a shaved head, but insists he doesn’t spend a great deal of money on his hairstyles, and always makes a spur of the moment decision on whether change his locks.

He told GQ magazine: “People try to read too much into it. Over the years they’ve said I’ve spent £2,000 on a hairstyle, which I’ve never done. Either a friend has cut it or I do it myself.

“Sometimes, I wake up and I’m bored of it, I want to shave it off. It literally is a spur of the moment decision. And I don’t think of anything apart from whether I am happy with it.”

The 36-year-old hunk – who is married to fashion designer Victoria Beckham, with whom he has four children – is currently happy with a quiffed hairstyle, and although he could change it any moment, he insists there are certain styles he will not revisit.

He added: “I’m getting older so I can’t pull off the Mohawk or the ponytail anymore. The way I’ve got it at the moment, my wife likes it, my kids like it, so I’m happy with it. But that could all change in the morning.”

Megan Fox has got her curves back since ditching her vegan diet

The 25-year-old actress had been sticking to a strict eating plan based on the vegetarian lifestyle – which doesn’t allow followers to eat meat or any foods made from animals – but she wasn’t happy with the results because she lost too much weight.

She told Italian magazine Amica: “For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables, no bread, sugar and coffee. But I had lost too much weight.”

Megan – who is married to actor Brian Austin Green – now eats all the food groups but makes sure she limits the high-calorie meals she ingests.

She added: “So now I eat a bit of everything. And I train three times a week doing circuit training.”

Her diet isn’t the only thing Megan is changing I her life.

The ‘Jonah Hex’ star is also removing the Marilyn Monroe tattoo she has inked on the inside of her right arm because it has “negative energy”.

The screen beauty – who has at least eight other tattoos – said: “I’m removing it. It is a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life.”

Hollywood icon Marilyn died in August 1962 aged 36 from a suspected drugs overdose.

Robert Pattinson has taken his girlfriend Kristen Stewart on a tour of his hometown

The actress is currently shooting her new movie ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ in London and on one of her days off the actor took her on a trip to Barnes, Surrey, South East England, to show her where he used to live.

To ensure they weren’t spotted by ‘Twilight’ fans Robert and Kristen wore disguises, including blonde and ginger wigs.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “It was really sweet, Rob wanted to show Kristen everything about where he’d grown up. He even took her to the local cafe where he used to hang out and his old pub.”

Among the other places they visited were the primary school Robert attended and the spot where T-Rex singer Marc Bolan died in a car crash in 1977.

Things are going from strength-to-strength for the couple but it doesn’t look like marriage is on the horizon for them anytime in the near future.

Kristen recently admitted she has no plans to walk down the aisle because she doesn’t think relationships need to be legally recognised.

When asked if she “believes” in marriage, she told German magazine TV Movie: “I like the thought of two people staying together for the rest of their lives. For me, however, this doesn’t need to be sealed with signatures.”

Brad Pitt has hired a helicopter from a budget UK store

The Hollywood actor chartered the mode of transport belonging to supermarket chain Iceland – who use it to fly food around – because he was “sick” of the London rush hour traffic while travelling to various parts of the UK to shoot his latest movie ‘World War Z’.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Brad was sick of wasting time in the London rush hour traffic, so he chartered a helicopter to take him to Billericay for filming. It just so happens the one he’s using belongs to Iceland.

“It’s caused a lot of laughter on set – everyone assumed he’d fly in on Richard Branson’s.”

Brad and partner Angelina recently chartered one of the entrepreneur’s Virgin trains to take them and their children – Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox – from London to Scottish city Glasgow, which is being transformed into a makeshift Philadelphia for the zombie apocalypse movie.

The couple are currently based in Richmond, south west London, where they took their children to see ‘The Smurfs 3D’ movie in the town’s Odeon cinema earlier this month, following on from recent trips to the venue to see ‘Mr. Popper’s Penguins’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′.

The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor requested an “expensive leather chair” to sit in and asked for “expensive, vintage red wine” to drink as he watched the ceremony unfold at the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden on Tuesday night (06.09.11).

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Johnny likes his privacy and wanted to watch the ceremony in peace. He had all his home comforts surrounding him and just sat back and took it all in.

“The organisers weren’t fussed by his demands. As far as they were concerned, Johnny would have got anything he asked for.”

The 48-year-old star did make an appearance in front of the other guests – who included Charlize Theron, Emma Watson and Kylie Minogue – to present Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, whose audio book ‘Life’ he voiced, with the Writer of the Year prize.

While receiving the gong, Keith revealed his autobiography is set to be turned into a movie and he admitted the biggest problem facing filmmakers could be finding a suitable actor to portray him.

He said: “There are feelers out at the minute [but] I’m in no rush right at the moment. Also, how are they going to find me? The idea of a succession of Keith Richards coming down is horrifying.”

Johnny famously based his ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ character Captain Jack Sparrow on the legendary rocker and has previously indicated he would be interested in portraying him on the big screen.

Despite Justin having recently been linked to his ‘Friends With Benefits’ co-star Mila Kunis, this isn’t the first time it has been suggested he’s rekindled his former romance with Jessica.

In July, a source said: “They’ve been quietly seeing each other again. They have been talking the whole time and decided to give it another shot.

Sarah Jessica Parker says her twins are like “little monkeys” who “beat each other up”

The actress admits her two-year-old twins Tabitha and Marion are very mischievous and are especially naughty at meal times.

The ‘Sex and the City’ star – who is married to actor Matthew Broderick – said: “It is stunning to me what can happen in a kitchen in 20 minutes. It really is like feeding animals in a zoo. The twins are crazy, like little monkeys. They are so charming and funny and sweet, but brutal to each other, too. They beat each other up all the time!”

Sarah Jessica always tries to be there for her kids but admits her career sometimes gets in the way of her parental duties.

The 46-year-old Hollywood beauty was “very sad” when she had to miss her eight-year-old son James’ birthday but she insists she very rarely has to let her kids down.

She told Red magazine: “I have certainly felt disappointment and sadness. I missed my son’s birthday because of work. There was nothing, at all, I could about it, but of course I felt desperately sad. I try to organise my professional life around the things that are important in my children’s life. So when I am missing things, I look forward to hearing about them.”

Sarah Jessica – who plays a hedge-fund manager struggling to juggle her family and work commitments in ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ – has no plans to give up her career and is confident she can maintain a healthy life balance.

She said: “It’s like sometimes I won’t be there when they (the twins) wake up – and I wish I could be – but I have work to do and I’ll be home by 6.30pm, so I can feed them and put them to bed. Those are the important parts. And I still want to be that other person, that mother going out to work, too.”
