Kim Kardashian will eat “just about anything”

The 30-year-old beauty – who is renowned for her curvy figure – admits there is little she would leave on her plate apart from peas, which she used to pretend to enjoy as a child but now will not touch.

She said: “It’s like a family rule: The table must be filled with tons of yummy food at every gathering. I’ll eat just about anything you put in front of me – except peas.

“When we were growing up, my parents would make us finish our vegetables or we’d lose our playtime, so I had to get creative. One night, I found out that I could spit the peas into a glass of milk and they’d disappear!”

However, her trickery meant she had to volunteer to clean up afterwards so no one would know she hadn’t eaten them.

She added to Every Day with Rachael Ray magazine: “The only consequence was that I had to volunteer to do the dishes so no one would know my trick.”

Despite her love of food, Kim is thought to be on a wedding diet ahead of her marriage to basketball star Kris Humphries on August 20.

When one of Kim’s twitter followers tweeted her last month saying, “On my way to GNC to buy some quicktrim”, Kim responded by writing, “Take some for me! I’m about to start again! Wedding slimdown (sic)”

Angelina Jolie treated her six children to afternoon of painting yesterday (09.08.11)

The Oscar-winning actress is currently staying in Richmond, south west London, as partner Brad Pitt films new movie ‘World War Z’, so she decided to take her brood – Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, and Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – to Pottery Cafe, where they all got to decorate their own crockery.

The cafe currently has a ‘Pirates and Princesses’ theme – to coincide with the British school summer holidays – and Knox and Vivienne really got into the swing of things by dressing up as a pirate and princess respectively.

A spokesperson at the Pottery Cafe’s Richmond branch told website MailOnline: “They all had a lovely afternoon of painting, and we hope to see them again soon!”

Meanwhile, as his family were enjoying a day out in Richmond, Brad stunned a local bakery shop in Cornwall, South West England, by ordering 700 Cornish pasties.

The handsome star is currently filming in the seaside resort of Falmouth and wanted to treat the actors and crew on the set of the movie so requested the massive order at Rowe’s Cornish Bakers.

Marketing boss Paul Pearce told the Daily Express newspaper: “I knew Brad Pitt was filming in the area but initially I thought, ‘This has got to be a wind up.’

“But as the conversation went on I realised the request was genuine and we set about it. It was a bit of a mad rush.”

Mel C has blasted Rihanna for being too sexual in her videos and on stage

The former Spice Girls singer – who has a two-year-old daughter Scarlet with boyfriend Thomas Starr – has grown increasingly concerned about “inappropriate” imagery in the music business and believes the ‘California King Bed’ hitmaker’s behaviour is too graphic for her younger fans.

In an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: “People have to take some responsibility because we’ve got to a point where the over-sexualisation of young children has gone too far. I think music is a big part of that. Women in music are extremely sexual and they have young fans. It is inappropriate.

“Rihanna has a responsibility and although culture’s always changing, it’s changed too much. It needs to be dealt with. It’s reached saturation point, we owe it to our kids to protect them.”

Mel believes Rihanna makes many of her X-rated artistic decisions – which have included her whipping reporters, dressing in a leather bikini and being tied up in her ‘S&M’ video, which was banned in 11 countries because of its sexual content – because she isn’t a mother herself.

The 37-year-old singer – who is about to release her new solo album ‘The Sea’ – added: “I love Rihanna, I think she’s a f***ing brilliant artist, with great songs, a great record and she looks fantastic … but she’s not a mum. Maybe if she becomes one she’ll feel different. I hope so anyway.”

Mel and her Spice Girls bandmates – Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel B and Emma Bunton – were criticised in the late 90s for being too sexual for their young fans, but the star insists they would always censor themselves if they felt something was wrong.

She said: “It’s a long time ago since the Spice Girls were first together and we were criticised for being sexual. Yes we wore crop tops, look how much has changed, but we always sat down as a group and if somebody felt something was inappropriate for our young fans, we did something about it. I think that’s something young people in the music industry today, like Rihanna, should do now.”

Despite splitting from the 30-year-old socialite last year, NFL star Reggie Bush has reportedly been bombarding the brunette beauty – who is due to marry basketball ace Kris Humphries on August 20 – with “text messages and voicemails” attempting to persuade her he’s “the one for her”.

An insider said: “He’s been sending text messages to Kim and leaving her voicemails, telling her she’s making a mistake and that he’s the one for her.

“In the past, Kim was friendly to Reggie, but now she’s stopped responding.”

Reggie is said to have been begging Kim to call off her impending nuptials, but the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is “burned” by the way their romance ended.

The source added to Life & Style magazine: “He was begging her to call off the wedding and give him another chance. She was burned by the end of their relationship, and she’s truly moved on.”

Kim made sure to tell Reggie about her whirlwind engagement before it hit headlines.

A friend said at the time: “Reggie was told about Kris and Kim’s engagement this past weekend because Kim knew everyone would be contacting him for reaction.

Lady Gaga is “emotionally thin”

The ‘Judas’ hitmaker – who is renowned for her eccentric dress sense – believes she holds her feelings close to her under a layer of skin but is not “vulnerable” as that implies she does nothing but cry.

Asked what she has learned about herself recently, she said: “I learned that to be a great artist, you must be emotionally very thin. Your tears and anger and your happiness must be just under the surface of your first layer of skin.

“I like to say ‘emotionally thin’ because it’s much more dramatic. Vulnerable to me implies only tears.”

However, the 25-year-old singer admits it is a challenge to fight against public perception of her and reveals she is “an act”.

She added to PopDust.com: “The challenge is that what others view as artifice—my wigs, my makeup, my clothes, my love for show business and theatre—to me, these are the paint in my palette. These things are not artifice. These things are my reality. But they create a boundary between me and the public that I have to fight through.

“People wonder, ‘Is she for real? Is it all an act?’ But my question is, ‘Since when did the act become a bad thing?’ Show business has always been about the act. Hasn’t it?”

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have thrown a party for the cast and crew of ‘Two and a Half Men’

The 33-year-old actor – who has replaced Charlie Sheen in the sitcom following him being fired from his role as Charlie Harper earlier this year – and his 48-year-old wife pleased everyone by holding the bash in the back room of West Hollywood club Troubadour after Ashton’s first day of shooting wrapped on Friday (05.08.11).

The ‘Punk’d star is also said to have won over his workmates with his positive attitude.

A source told UsMagazine.com: “Ashton and Demi were both cute together and friendly with everyone. Everybody is loving Ashton on the set. He’s really coming off like a cool low maintenance guy, and with everything that went down with Charlie everyone is breathing a sigh of relief.

“He jokes with the crew, has no tantrums, he comes in well studied in his lines – it’s such a nice change. So far there have been no issues and everyone is really happy with how it’s working out. Nobody is missing Charlie right now.”

Ashton will play a broken hearted internet billionaire named Walden Schmidt who will buy Charlie Harper’s luxurious beachfront condominium after a number of buyers – including a selection of celebrity guest stars – view the property.

The first episode will open with Charlie’s funeral.

Audrina Patridge wants to do a movie version of ‘The Hills’

The reality star – who rose to fame on the show about a group of privileged youngsters growing up in Los Angeles – admits she had become “fed up” with the other people featured in the show, including Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari when it came to an end in summer 2010, but is now ready to reunite with them for a film.

She told radio host Ryan Seacrest: “We were kind of all just so fed up with each other that we all needed a little break, so now we’ve all had our break.

“Maybe we’ll all come back together and do a movie, you never know.”

Despite making her name in ‘The Hills’ – which also led Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt to fame – Audrina previously admitted she wanted to be a psychologist when she was younger, but needed to make a decision and wanted to try her hand at acting.

She said: “When I was younger I wanted to be a psychologist. But acting happened. I had to choose between going to college and trying to be a psychologist or moving to LA and trying to be an actress. Acting won out.”

The actress had been suspicious about the relationship between her then-husband – who she married in 2000 – and his ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ co-star for a long time before their 2005 separation, but he initially denied they were romantically involved.

The film’s producer Arnon Milchan says in new book ‘Confidential: The Life Of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon Arnon Milchan’: “At first, Jen didn’t believe he was involved with Angelina. She started asking around but no one would tell her anything because they were loyal to Brad, so she asked him point blank. He denied it.”

The pair went on a pre-planned holiday to the Caribbean with friends Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette to celebrate New Year 2005, but the strain proved too much and Brad confessed he was in love with Angelina, according to Arnon.

He added: “He eventually admitted he was in love with Angelina. Jen was furious and threw him out.”

According to Arnon, Brad only returned to his martial home to collect his belongings before moving into the producer’s house, where he would make a low-key entrance to the film set every day.

The book claims: “Brad drove each day to the set, and everywhere else, on a motorcycle and he wore a wraparound helmet with a tinted visor so no one would recognise him. He stayed with me for the duration of filming.”

Brad split from Jennifer in January 2005 and started a relationship with Angelina just a few months later.

The couple are still together now and raise six children, Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, together.

And Mila is adamant she is not dating her ‘Friends with Benefits’ co-star Justin Timberlake, despite the relentless speculation.

‘Harry Potter’ triumphed at the Teen Choice Awards last night (07.08.11), winning six prizes

The final movie in the series, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′ won the Choice Summer Movie accolade, while Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the titular character, picked up the Choice Summer Movie Star Male gong and his co-star Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger, won the female equivalent at the ceremony at the Gibson Amphitheatre, Los Angeles.

Taylor Swift was the biggest single winner on the night, taking home six prizes including Choice Music Female Artist, Country Music Female Country Artist, Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon Female and Choice Music Country Single for her hit ‘Mean’.

Accepting her Ultimate Teen Choice surfboard onstage, the 21-year-old singer joked: “It’s been a long time since I was a teenager, like two years.”

Selena Gomez nabbed five surfboard statuettes, including Choice TV Actress Comedy for her role as Alex Russo in the ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ and Choice Music Love Song for ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ – beating her boyfriend Justin Bieber who achieved four wins.

The 17-year-old singer appeared on stage alongside his friend Sean Kingston, who was making his first live televised appearance since recovering from a jet-ski accident that left him needing two bouts of heart surgery and incapacitated with a broken jaw and shattered wrists.

Other multiple award winners included ‘Glee’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’, which picked up a hat-trick of gongs including Choice Movie Actor Sci-Fi/Fantasy for Taylor Lautner’s portrayal of Jacob Black.

Justin Timberlake believes he would have been successful without *NSYNC

The 30-year-old singer-and-actor joined the group in 1995 and went on to carve out a successful career after leaving the ‘Bye, Bye, Bye’ hitmakers in 2002 but believes his musical talent would still have been discovered even without his stint in the band. He said: “I don’t want this to come out the wrong way… It was an amazing platform but even without it, I believe I would have been heard as a solo artist.

When he went solo, Justin refused to play both his debut record, ‘Justified’, and the 2006 follow-up ‘FutureSex/ Love Sounds’ to his record company until they were complete and he admits he is still baffled as to why he was permitted to do so.

He told Britain’s Elle magazine: “I don’t know why they let me do that. But I hadn’t come out of nowhere. People had preconceptions and I didn’t want to be misunderstood.

“I’ve learned that people have preconceptions, period. They’re uncontrollable but they’re not.

Nicki Minaj compares working a series of dead end jobs to “torture”

The ‘Super Bass’ rapper had to work part time jobs after graduating from New York’s prestigious LaGuardia High School, and although she hated the experience, she claims she now has the last laugh.

She said: “That whole time was so horrible. It was like torture. At the end of the day, after working at whatever job I hated, I would get all dressed up and go out with the hope of getting a record deal.

“At night, I was an artist, but during the day I was a slave. When I think back on that time, on the people who made my life a living hell, I want to say, ‘Are you all seeing me now?

“This is me having the last laugh after all those years when you made it hard for me to get out of bed in the morning.”

Although Nicki thought about quitting at one point, her pride and dedication to making money to support her family were what eventually helped her achieve success.

She added: “I had no money, I had no one to call and I was out on my own.

“I also had the burden of not wanting to tell my mother that I was out of a job, and could I come back home?

“Besides faith in God, the only thing that got me through that time was the fear of what would happen to my family if I didn’t make it.

“I remember thinking, ‘I don’t know if this is ever going work but I’m going to give it one final try.’”

The ‘Melancholia’ actress says that as she’s got older she’s realised what matters to her and now loves spending time with her parents and grandparents.

She said: “I speak to them every day. My grandmother lives with my mother and I worry about not seeing her enough. I love my grandparents. I can never understand why people put family into care homes. I feel proud that I’ve earned enough money to buy a house for my mother and grandmother. My grandfather in Germany was so proud of my Best Actress award. He was telling all his friends, he got to be the guy with the big news. I loved that.”

Kirsten, 29, lives with her younger brother Christian and admits she’s “lucky” with the friends and family she has.

Despite her maternal instincts being awoken during filming scenes for the series, she admits she was a little freaked out by the animatronic child, operated by a member of the crew, which she had to interact with in certain scenes.

She said: “Filming it, this guy’s sweating under your eye line, they get the hand up to touch your face and then it sticks to your hair and pulls a little bit.

“You’re like, ‘Ugh! Get that thing off me. Get me a baby, this is ridiculous.’ It had hair and it’s a newborn baby!”

The ‘One Day’ actress insists she was always “professional” on set but didn’t always take the advice she was given by directors.

She said: “I think I used to be a lot better at speaking than listening and missed a lot of wisdom that was coming my way as a result.

“I was so afraid that if I didn’t say things loud, they wouldn’t get heard at all.

“I wasn’t a nightmare – I was always professional – but I think, maybe I was a little young and arrogant.”

The ‘Love and Other Drugs’ star also admitted she is bemused as to why people associate her name with romantic comedies as she has “never” starred in one and just looks for “honest” movie choices.

She told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine: “It’s funny because I recently found out I’m mainly known for romantic comedies, but I’ve never actually made one.

The 21-year-old actress – who shot to fame playing Hermione Granger in the ‘Harry Potter’ films – reportedly fell for the 24-year-old actor on the set of the drama movie, which was shot in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and they are still close after filming ended.

A source – who spotted Johnny dropping Emma off at a restaurant where she was meeting friends – told US Weekly the pair “looked very loved up. Holding and hugging each other for a while and playfully kissing. [They] seemed very open and not trying to hide their affection.”

Although the relationship is relatively new, the pair are said to have become virtually inseparable

A source said: “Emma and Johnny met shooting ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ and have gotten serious fast. She loves how down to earth and normal he is and thinks he’s the nicest guy. He feels the same way about her. She doesn’t act like she’s one of the biggest stars in the world.”

A second source added: “They have really fallen for one another and both aren’t dating anyone else. She once said she’d never move to LA, but I think she’s reconsidering, especially because Johnny lives in Los Angeles.”

Emma previously dated financier Jay Barrymore but their two-year relationship ended in March 2010 after two years.

Kim Kardashian’s fiance Kris Humphries makes her “really happy”

The reality TV star will marry Kris Humphries on August 20 and Kim’s close pal Ciara thinks the pair are perfect for each other and says she is relieved her friend found the perfect man.

She told America’s OK! Magazine: “I am going. I’m just happy to be able to support her in this moment and to see her do it. It’s going to be really fun.

“This is really a beautiful time and especially when you know the journey of your friends. This is one of the biggest moments of our lives as women. She found someone that makes her really happy and that’s what’s really important.”

The couple are planning a lavish ceremony and Kim, 30, recently revealed close family friend Vera Wang, will make her wedding gown.

She wrote on her blog: “I am so excited to reveal that Vera Wang is my wedding dress designer. Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years, so when it came to picking my wedding dress designer she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!

“I know that Vera can make my dream come true and create the most perfect gown for my special day.”

Emma Watson can’t wait to have kids

The 21-year-old actress – who shot to fame playing Hermione Granger in the ‘Harry Potter’ films – is reportedly dating her ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ co-star Johnny Simmon and although she has refused to confirm the romance, she admitted she sees children and marriage in her future.

Emma told Company magazine: “I have very strong family values and I definitely hope that will be in my future. I can’t wait to be a mum and have my own family one day.”

The British star is drawn to confident men but concedes there are some people who are only interested in her for her fame.

She said: “I can spot people like that a mile off. It’s easy to figure out who’s who and, generally, I can just tell. It took me a year at university to trust anyone properly, but sometimes you have to take a risk because otherwise you’re not really living and that’s pretty sad.

“I look for kindness, good manners, intelligence, confidence and someone who can make me laugh. On a superficial level, I don’t have a ‘type’. You could line up photographs of all the guys I’ve dated and they look totally different. You won’t believe me but it really is more to do with their personalities rather than looks.

Cheryl Cole is holidaying in Cannes with will.i.am

The ‘Parachute’ singer – who has not been seen in public following revelations her ex-husband Ashley Cole bedded a string of women days before they were rumoured to have reconciled – is enjoying a break in the glamorous South of France resort where she has been spending quality time with the Black Eyed Peas star.

will.i.am uploaded a picture of him and Cheryl – whose maiden name is Tweedy – on twitter and wrote: “Its me and the “Tweety Nird” in Cannes, France… Me and Cheryl Cole in the south of France having fun. (sic)”

However, the following morning he corrected himself, writing: “My last tweet I had a typo. I put “tweedy nird” but meant “tweedy bird”. B and N are close…ooops. (sic)”

Earlier in the day, he had revealed he and his bandmate apl.de.ap were staying on a “mother-f**king boat” on the French Riviera.

Cheryl is set to work with will.i.am – who she appointed as her manager to mastermind her career in the US – on her third album and has already recorded a song, which they hope will be the first single.

Talking about the track – which was originally offered to Cher Lloyd, who Cheryl mentored on last year’s series of the UK ‘X Factor – said: “Cheryl loved the song from the start and didn’t think twice about recording a version after she was sure it would not be appearing on Cher’s album.

“There is no love lost between the two so she couldn’t care less what anyone has to say about her being offered the song. It’s a great track, so much so that it is being considered as the lead single from Cheryl’s third album.”

Fergie wants to take a break from showbiz

The Black Eyed Peas star is glad the band – who she appears in with will.i.am, Taboo and Apl.de.ap – are taking a short hiatus so she can focus on her family life with husband Josh Duhamel and decorate her home.

She said: “I need more balance in my life. I want to be home more, not in hotel rooms recovering from jet-lag and the chaos of touring.

“I need a break from that. I want to be in my house, decorating!”

The 36-year-old singer admits a baby may be on the cards for her and Josh and is “looking forward” to their future together.

She added: “I’m a huge family person – huge – and yes, Josh and I want to have children, but I am not pregnant!

“But we definitely talk about it. That’ll be a whole other chapter of our lives and it’s going to be so much fun. We’re looking forward to it.”

Despite being well known for her sexy image, often wearing skin-tight clothes while performing with the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie admits she feels sexiest when she is make-up free.

She told Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine: “When do I feel sexiest? When I get out of the shower and I feel fresh and my hair is clean.

“I feel very sexy then because I’m so clean and pure and beautiful. I don’t feel so sexy when I’ve just taken an 11-hour flight and I get home and I’m jet lagged!”

Lindsay Lohan attended a Coldplay concert in Los Angeles last night (03.08.11) as a special guest of frontman Chris Martin

The troubled actress – who was recent released from house arrest, served in lieu of jail time for taking a necklace from a boutique and violating the terms of probation set for her 2007 conviction for driving under the influence (DUI) – is a huge fan of the British rockers and reached out to Chris for tickets as the pair have been “good friends” for years, according to gossip website TMZ.

Lindsay – who brought her younger sister Ali to the gig, where they enjoyed prime seats near the stage – later tweeted: “I love Coldplay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! W/my sis (sic)”

Coldplay paid tribute to the late singer Amy Winehouse during the band’s encore, where they performed a slower version of her hit ‘Rehab’, before singing their own song ‘Fix You’.

Lindsay is not Coldplay’s only famous fan. Chris’ wife Gwyneth – who has two children, Apple, seven and Moses, five with her musician spouse – recently revealed she is having trouble getting hold of their new LP, which is due to be released later this year, despite her close relationship with the band.

She wrote on twitter: “Who do I have to bang to get an advance copy of the new coldplayalbum? I mean, really.(sic)”

Justin Timberlake’s pals have called the paparazzo his bodyguard has been accused of assaulting a “lying piece of s**t”

The ‘Friends with Benefits’ actor was joining his co-star Mila Kunis – who he is said to be dating – at London’s exclusive Nobu restaurant on Tuesday night (02.08.11) when a smartly-dressed man, believed to be his security assistant, was reportedly seen punching a photographer to the floor although a close friend of Justin claims this is completely untrue.

He told E! News: “[Justin's bodyguard] did not touch that photographer.”He was a lying piece of s**t photographer who fell down.

“[The bodyguard was arrested because] that’s how it is [in the U.K.]; to be arrested is to be questioned. And after questioning him, the police determined that the bodyguard did not touch the photographer and he was released with no charges.”

A spokesperson for Scotland Yard said yesterday (03.08.11): “Police were called to Berkeley Square at approximately 9.45 Tuesday night. A man alleged he was assaulted.

“He suffered minor injuries. He did not require hospital treatment. Officers later arrested a 45-year-old man at a central London hotel on suspicion of common assault. He is being held at a central London police station. Enquiries are on-going.”
