What Is Ryan’s Biggest Hobby?
by Kavy on Jul.03, 2011, under Actor
Ryan Reynolds’ biggest hobby is his career
The ‘Green Lantern’ actor – who split from wife Scarlett Johansson in December after two years of marriage – insists he isn’t a workaholic, but even in his down time is happy to turn his attention to business calls because making movies is not a difficult profession.
He said: “My hobbies are work. No, I’m kidding. But I do love to work and my hobby is also my career.
“Am I a workaholic? It depends who you ask. I don’t think so. I think when I have time off I really use it, but I work in Hollywood. It’s not like I’m a neurosurgeon. I can take a phone call when I’m relaxing.”
Ryan admits that as he has gotten older he finds it easier to relax and no longer has to be busy all the time.
He added: “I’m closer to moderation now than I’ve ever been, but years ago I would have had trouble with that. If it was a vacation I had to climb something or do something, but that’s just being younger I think.
“Now I can handle a book and some TV for a while.”

Re-union: Cheryl And Ashley
by Abbey on Jul.03, 2011, under Reunion
Cheryl Cole reunited with her ex-husband Ashley Cole at her birthday bash on Friday night (01.07.11)
The 28-year-old star – who divorced the England and Chelsea soccer ace in September 2010 amid allegations of multiple affairs on his behalf – spent the evening partying at London’s exclusive Sanderson Hotel, allowing the beauty to forget her career troubles after being axed from the US ‘X Factor’.
A close friend of Cheryl’s said: “That evening they realised how much chemistry they still have and how much they mean to each other. Cheryl wanted Ashley at the party to share her special night.
“It’s a liberating time for her – without ‘The X Factor’ she can be herself. Besides, she figured that since people were talking about her and Ashley being together again, she had nothing to hide.
“Ashley and Cheryl looked really happy. It was obvious they were close.”
However, the reported reconciliation is said to have made Cheryl question whether they should have ever have got divorced in the first place.
The friend added to the News of the World newspaper: “Cheryl couldn’t have looked happier when she was in Ashley’s arms. It was just a small party for those closest to her. There were only around 40 there. Cheryl only had eyes for one man. They looked so in love.
“Cheryl now wishes they’d just separated. She’s madly in love with her ex-husband and she’s the happiest she’s been for a long time. They both want to make this work. Finally their friends and family accept them, they just want the public to accept it now.”

Spielberg’s Views On Film-Making
by Alice on Jul.02, 2011, under Director
Steven Spielberg likes to make films the “old-fashioned way”
The ‘E.T.’ director began making movies as a child and believes many people can now make films by even using a mobile phone to shoot something, but he prefers older forms of filmmaking.
He said: “All kids have to do these days is take their cellphone, flip it open and make a movie, but I like the way it started. “It wasn’t a point-and-click art form, it was a craft. It involved solvents, photo-chemistry, cutting out poster board with industrial scissors and getting your fingers fused with Elmer’s glue.
“It was all homemade stuff. If I was a chef, a microwave would be my worst enemy. I would want to do it the old-fashioned way”. His love of cinema started when his father used to take a camera on holiday with them as a child.
He explained to Empire magazine: “My dad used to film our camping trips. He’d put the camera outside the window as we were driving along, and all you’d see was a blurring, brown motion of the Arizona desert streaking past. It got to the point where I begged him to be the videographer.”

by Lisa on Jul.02, 2011, under Artist
Cheryl Cole celebrated her 28th birthday at London’s Sanderson Hotel last night (01.07.11)
The former ‘X Factor’ star partied with friends including Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am at the exclusive party, which she is using as an opportunity to “jumpstart” her career following her shock sacking from the US version of the singing competition.
A family friend told The Sun newspaper: “Her moping about ‘The X Factor’ is over. She’s determined to jumpstart her career. She still has America in her sights.” Cheryl wore a 60s style Stella McCartney white dress for the occasion, teamed with high heeled shoes.
However, her ex-husband Ashley did not make an appearance as some had expected. Cheryl has only been seen in public twice since she was replaced by Nicole Scherzinger on ‘The X Factor’, but before her first return – at the US embassy in London earlier this week – she was keen to tell her fans she was doing fine.
She wrote on her website: “I have had the time that I have not had in so long to just chill with my loved ones and do the normal things that I like to do. See my friends and family and be with my doggys. It feels long overdue and sooooo good, even my feet are happy to not have to wear a pair of high heels hehe.
“It also breaks my heart a little when i hear that some of you worry about me and need to know that I am ok, so I want to PROMISE you that I am absolutely fine and more than OK! (sic)”

Jim Carrey doesn’t know if he’ll ever find someone to spend the rest of his life with

“But everything in my life comes to me for a reason, to step me up to another level and to make me learn. Every single relationship has brought me a little bit closer to realising what I want and what I don’t want, and teaching me the value of love.
“I don’t know if I’ll ever actually find somebody I can hang with for the rest of my life.”

Why Brad And Angelina Wants 2 “hide”?
by Abbey on Jul.01, 2011, under Entertainment

The ‘Tree of Life’ star – who raises children, Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh five and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with the 36-year-old actress – thinks he now has his lifestyle down “pretty well” after spending 10 years getting used to being known as one of the world’s most famous actors.
He said: “It took me a good decade of hiding in my house and not going outside to even, like, get my arms around this idea of celebrity, where suddenly people are looking for you to pick your nose or get a shot of you kissing some woman.
“It’s a very discombobulating thing. But Angie and I have got it down pretty well. We have to hide behind some walls, but we’re good.”
Despite being happy with his domestic life, the 47-year-old hunk still struggles with his views on religion – having been brought up in the mid-west of the US, which well-known for its Christian views.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “I grew up in the f**king buckle of the Bible belt.
“This idea of an all-powerful, watching being that’s controlling our moves and giving us a chance to say he’s the greatest so we get into some eternal heaven – that just doesn’t work for me, man. I got a real problem with it.
“I see the value of religion and what it offers to people as a cushion and I don’t want to step on that. On the other hand, I’ve seen where I grew up how it becomes separatist, and I get quite aggravated and antagonistic.”
