Robert Pattinson wants a “simple” wedding

The 25-year-old actor – who is in a relationship with ‘Twilight Saga’ co-star Kristen Stewart – insists he wouldn’t want to tie the knot in front of hundreds of celebrities, and ideally would just be joined at the ceremony by a small group of close family and friends.

Asked about his dream wedding, he told heat magazine: “I imagine it to be pretty simple. It’s not exactly my style to fly in 500 different celebrities from around the world.

“My best friends now are the same best friends I had before everything got a little crazy. I would want it to just be family and close friends, not somebody I’ve said hello to once at an awards ceremony.”

The British star also revealed he would return to his native UK to get married, despite the unpredictable weather.

He added: “The weather in LA is great, but if I were to get married, I think I would like to do so back home.”

The ‘Water for Elephants’ star recently spoke of his desire to settle down and have a family, revealing he dreams of sharing his home with a number of children.

He added: “I’m not interested in casual relationships, I need to know people, I’m not making an existential statement here, simply, I want a family with two or three kids.”

Justin Timberlake’s sex scenes with Mila Kunis in ‘Friends With Benefits’ were “awkward”

The Hollywood heartthrob and the brunette beauty play lovers in the upcoming comedy movie, and Justin admits it wasn’t easy getting romantic in front of the cameras with Mila.

He said: “I’d be lying if I said filming the sex scenes wasn’t completely awkward … The producers and I agreed we would shoot a big chunk of the movie before we got down to the sex scenes, which was a good idea. That allowed Mila and me time to get comfortable. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to go all out for this.”

It had been predicted that his scenes in ‘Friends With Benefits’ – which focuses on two professionals who agree to have a sexual relationship with no strings attached – wouldn’t be the only awkward moments on a film set for Justin.

He stars with his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz in new movie ‘Bad Teacher’, which see’s the actress’ character Elizabeth Halsey romantically pursue Justin’s alter-ego Scott Delacorte, but he insists things were fine between them on set.

The singer-turned-actor – who dated the blonde beauty for almost four years until December 2006 – told Playboy magazine: “It sounds complicated to everybody else, but it wasn’t to us … We don’t talk to each other all the time, but we respect each other, and on some level we’ll always love each other – but in our new capacity as friends. I think the world of her.”

Selena Gomez was admitted to hospital after suffering from “malnourishment”

The 18-year-old singer-and-actress – who was hospitalised on Friday (10.06.11) when she fell ill with nausea and a severe headache – has vowed to take better care of herself in the future after learning her symptoms stemmed from dehydration and an iron deficiency.

She said: “I was very malnourished. I was dehydrated and very low on iron. So, I just gotta take care of myself.”

Selena – who has been dating 17-year-old singer Justin Bieber since the beginning of this year –is feeling “much better” following the scare, but was disappointed to have missed out on promoting her new movie ‘Monte Carlo’ in Santa Monica, California, last week.

She told ‘Access Hollywood’: “I’m doing great, much better. I was very disappointed I couldn’t be here, but I’m here now.”

After being admitted to hospital late last week, the brunette beauty reportedly underwent tests for blood pressure problems, and boyfriend Justin was quick to tweet his support for the star.

Victoria Beckham has asked Eva Longoria to be the Godmother of her unborn daughter

The singer-turned-fashion designer is expecting her fourth child in July – a much-longed for girl – and she and her soccer star husband David have decided to give the ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress an important role in the tot’s life.

A friend of the couple – who already have sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz, together – told The Sun newspaper: “Victoria ran it past David and they both want Eva. She’s extremely honoured.”

Victoria and Eva became close friends after the former Spice Girl moved to Los Angeles in 2007 following David’s move to the Los Galaxy soccer team.

Last year, Victoria helped support Eva through her marriage split from basketball star Tony Parker and in May, Eva throw Victoria a pink-themed baby shower alongside celebrity hairdresser Ken Paves.

The star-studded event took place at the Petit L’Ermitage hotel in West Hollywood and Eva ensured the venue was decorated with pink tablecloths, flowers and chairs.

The ‘Harry Potter’ actress – who has starred as Hermione Granger in the wizard franchise since she was just 11 – admitted she has “no control” over her life and is “desperately trying” to find more normality.

She said: “I have had no control over my life. I have lived in a complete bubble. They found me and picked me for the part. And now I’m desperately trying to find my way through it.”

The 21-year-old beauty – who recently dropped out of Brown University to concentrate on her career -also revealed she felt like a “pain in the butt” for film-makers Warner Brothers because she was constantly striving to get an education.

Emma added to US Vogue magazine: “I have felt for the last 10 years I have had this battle; I’ve been fighting so hard to have an education. It’s been this uphill struggle. I was Warner Bros.’ pain in the butt. I was their scheduling conflict. I was the one who made life difficult.”

However, the actress explained she sought relationship advice throughout her time on ‘Harry Potter’ from co-star Daniel Radcliffe.

She said: “We would help each other compose texts to our most recent flames.”

Jennifer Lopez will “probably” watch the US version of ‘The X Factor’

The 41-year-old singer – who is a judge on rival pop star search show ‘American Idol’ – loves watching talent programmes and thinks she will tune in when the series airs in September.

Speaking at the 95-106 Capital FM Summertime Ball at London’s Wembley Stadium last night (12.06.11), she told BANG Showbiz: “You know what, I watch all those shows. I’m a big fan of those type of shows so I’ll probably be watching.”

The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker had kind words for Nicole Scherzinger – who will be a judge on ‘The X Factor’ alongside Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul – wishing her “the best” of luck for her new venture.

She said: “I just saw Nicole backstage. I gave her all my love and wished her the best, she says she’s already started. She was supposed to be the host and now she’s a judge and she’s very excited about that.”

Kim K to Bret Lockett — Here Comes the Lawsuit!

Bret Lockett might finally get that face-to-face meeting with Kim Kardashian he always wanted — but it looks like it’s going to go down … in a courtroom!

Sources close to Kim K tell TMZ … her lawyers are drafting a defamation lawsuit against Lockett and will file it as early as Monday morning.

Kim has maintained all along she never met Bret — despite his claims they had a “physical relationship.” Harvey hammered Lockett on TMZ Live last week, asking him when and where he met Kim, but Lockett refused to say. Nevertheless, he insisted he and Kim had hooked up this year, after she starting dating Kris Humphries.

But on Friday, Lockett finally fessed up on “Showbiz Tonight” … admitting he never actually met Kim.

We’re told Kim’s lawyers fired off a letter to Lockett in the last few days, telling him to hang on to the so-called “evidence” he has on his “affair” with Kim — because he’ll need to produce it in court.

Kim Kardashian can’t stop working

The 30-year-old reality TV star – who recently got engaged to sportsman Kris Humphries – struggles to switch off and can’t resist checking on her various endeavours even when she is on holiday.

She said: “I’m always travelling. Having so many business ventures gets hectic.

“Even when I take days off, I find myself sneaking off to approve shoes for my website or photos for my perfume campaign. I’m a workaholic.”

Despite her hectic schedule, Kim – who has an online shoe company, clothing line, jewellery collection, two perfumes and co-owns three boutiques – insists she doesn’t mind putting in the work because she wants to do well.

She said: “If I’m doing something, then I’m 100 per cent involved. That’s what it takes to be super-successful.

“From ad campaigns to pictures to wording, I want it all to be perfect. I don’t want to be just a face.”

However, the brunette beauty admits she often runs into difficulties with her work.

She told Britain’s Glamour magazine: “There are always challenges. Getting a name trademarked and hiring people you can trust are hard.

“Opening Dash New York was a risk because the rent was four times as much as we were used to and we weren’t familiar with the city.”

Duchess Catherine is “loving” every minute of married life

The brunette beauty – who wed Prince William in April – told guests at a recent gala dinner how she was incredibly happy since tying the knot in April even though she sometimes finds her new royal role “surreal”.

One guest at the exclusive bash at London’s Kensington Palace told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Kate said she was ‘loving it’ when asked what married life was like. She added that it was surreal sometimes but that’s to be expected.

“She said she was totally and blissfully happy and her eyes lit up whenever William’s name was mentioned. The pair are clearly so in love.”

Catherine was making her first official public appearance with William at the 10th annual Absolute Return for Kids (ARK) Gala Dinner on Thursday (09.06.11) and while the bash was completely over-the-top, onlookers say the couple didn’t seem to mind.

The onlooker added: “It was the most extravagant, ostentatious, over-the-top bash you can ever imagine with bankers splashing their cash like there’s no tomorrow. It was not the sort of occasion you would normally associate with royalty. But Kate and Wills took it in their stride like true professionals.”

Earlier in the evening, William addressed the crowd to announce his wife had joined the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry as a patron.

He said: “My brother, Catherine and I hope to use our philanthropy as a long-term catalyst for meaningful change.”

Emma Watson is enrolling at Oxford University

The ‘Harry Potter’ star is expected to study English at the well respected British university, enrolling in its Worcester College to start in October.

Emma had quit America’s Brown University in April saying she had trouble finding the time to commit to her studies while also carrying out her film, promotional and modelling work. She did, however, say she expected to enrol in another university to continue her education this autumn.

She wrote on her website: “Recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible.

“I’ve decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on ‘Harry Potter’ and to focus on my other projects.”

Emma has lived in Oxfordshire – where the university is based – since she was five, so may feel more at home at the university.

Earlier this month, she revealed another contributing factor in her decision to quit was she underestimated just how famous the ‘Harry Potter’ films have made her.

The 21-year-old actress said: “I was in denial. I wanted to pretend I wasn’t as famous as I was. I was trying to seek out normality, but I kind of have to accept who I am, the position I’m in and what happened.”

It is possible Emma could return to Brown University, in Providence, Rhode Island, to study in her third year, as it offers a transfer scheme which allows some students to study at Oxford for a year.

A spokesperson for Emma said: “No decisions have been made yet.”

The 29-year-old singer – who has two sons, Sean Preston, five, and Jayden James, four, with second husband Kevin Federline – got secretly engaged to long-term boyfriend Jason Trawick when the 39-year-old talent manager popped the question by writing the pop star a romantic poem.

After filling the ground floor of the couple’s Los Angeles mansion with roses and candles, Jason reportedly presented Britney with a flower-shaped diamond ring, according to The Sun newspaper.

An insider said: “She’s on cloud nine.”

The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker is also said to be keen to have another child, her first with Jason, but only wanted to do it once she had tied the knot again.

The source added: “Britney is desperate to settle down again and have more children. But she is very traditional and didn’t want to start a family with Jason until they’d tie the knot.

The Beckham boys – Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz – are all huge fans of the ‘Baby’ hitmaker and Victoria took to her twitter page to thank Justin for his generous gift and share a picture of the musical instruments.

Victoria tweeted: “Thank u justin bieber for the boys signed guitars!!! they are so happy!!!!!!! X VB x (sic)”

The kids love Justin so much that David revealed Romeo wants to name their new sister “Justine Bieber Beckham”.

The soccer superstar and Victoria are expecting their fourth child – a confirmed daughter – next month and their middle son is desperate to name the new arrival after the pop star.

David said: “When we got told it was a boy, Romeo said, ‘How about Justin Bieber as a name? Justin Bieber Beckham?’

“So now we know it’s a girl, he said, ‘Well, how about Justine Bieber Beckham?’ “

David says the kids are huge fans of the 17-year-old singer and the youngest two boys met Justin after one of his concerts.

He explained: “The funny thing is, I was on the way to school drop off the other day and my youngest said, ‘Do you think we could have a play date with Justin Bieber?’ I said, ‘I think he’s a little bit busy.’”

Victoria Beckham admits being a working mother is “hard”

The singer-turned-fashion designer – who is expecting her fourth child with husband David Beckham – will always put her family first, but wants to give her work as much attention as she can and is pleased she enjoys it so much.

She told Britain’s Glamour magazine: “Maternity leave – what’s that? I’ve been working incredibly hard so I’m prepared for next season.

“Being a working mum is hard – I think women can relate to me when I say it’s like juggling glass balls.

“My husband and children will always be my priority. But for me, what I do professionally doesn’t feel like a job – it’s my passion.”

While Victoria has been busy working hard, she recently took time out to enjoy a baby shower thrown in her honour by close friend Eva Longoria.

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress held the party at the Petit L’Ermitage hotel in West Hollywood, and invited guests including Nicole Richie, Demi Moore and Selma Blair – herself expecting a baby.

The theme of the party was pink, to celebrate the impending girl, with pink tablecloths, pink flowers and pink chairs.

In addition to the girly colour scheme, there was also an English garden party feel, with guests treated to cups of tea and a Princess cake covered in marzipan.

Kings of Leon star Jared Followill injured his finger at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards last night (07.06.11)

The bassist attended the ceremony at London’s Berkley Square Gardens with his bandmates and brothers, drummer Nathan Followill and singer Caleb Followill, and during the evening he hurt his hand – but can’t remember how.

He wrote on his twitter account: “And I’m back. What an epic hangover. At some drunk point last night, I took a gash out of my finger. Or was it the other way around? Eh? Eh?”

While at the awards show, Jared took to twitter to seemingly praise the number of attractive women in attendance.

He tweeted: “At the Glamour Awards. A few wa wa we wa’s running around. (sic)”

Guests included Kim Kardashian, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jessie J and Kristen Stewart.

Jared wasn’t the only member of Kings of Leon feeling the after-effects of the glitzy ceremony.

Drummer Nathan went for an energy restoring lunch with his wife Jessie Baylin today (08.06.11) following a night of partying.

He tweeted: “Good morning. On a lunch date with my gal recovering from a glamorous night with friends. Pretty sure I drooled on @cindycrawford last night. (sic)”

Supermodel Cindy was staying at the same hotel in London as Nathan and Jared and the pair were thrilled to meet the catwalk legend.

Kim Kardashian was named Entrepreneur of the Year at last night’s (07.06.11) Glamour Women of the Year Awards

The 30-year-old socialite – who recently got engaged to basketball star boyfriend Kris Humphries – was joined by an array of stars at the event at London’s Berkley Square Gardens, including ‘Tamara Drewe’ actress Gemma Arterton, who took home the Film Actress of the Year prize.

Victoria Beckham – who is currently expecting her fourth child with husband David Beckham – was awarded Accessory Designer of the Year, while chart-topping singer Adele was given the UK Solo Artist of the Year gong.

Meanwhile, ‘Price Tag’ hitmaker Jessie J took home the coveted Woman of Tomorrow accolade, while ‘Transformers’ actress Rosie Huntington Whiteley was handed the Editor’s Special Award.

Elsewhere, British designer Sarah Burton – who created the lace wedding dress Princess Catherine wore to her April 29 nuptials with Prince William, as well as her sister Pippa Middleton’s silhouette-enhancing ivory bridesmaid dress – was named Designer of the Year.

Despite the awards recognising the achievements of women, ‘Country Strong’ actor Garrett Hedlund was given a prize, the coveted Man of the Year honour.

Hosted by British TV actor James Corden, the event also saw the likes of ‘Twilight’ actress Kristen Stewart, UK girl band The Saturdays and Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks – who was presented with the Outstanding Contribution Award by Rod Stewart – turn out to the star-studded event.

Chris Bosh Begs Judge — Let My Kid Go to NBA Finals

Miami Heat superstar Chris Bosh desperately wants his 2-year-old daughter to watch him play in the NBA Finals — but his baby mama won’t let her go to the games — so he’s going to court to try to force her hand.

Bosh and his ex-girlfriend, Allison Mathis, are locked in a bitter custody war — and while they hash out a permanent solution, they are currently abiding by a temporary court-ordered arrangement in which they share custody … and right now, their daughter is with Mathis.

TMZ obtained an emergency motion Bosh filed with a Maryland court last week — asking the judge to temporarily alter their agreement so “[Bosh's daughter] is able to share in what, to date, is the pinnacle of Bosh’s professional career, and possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity.”

In the docs, Bosh also includes an email he sent to Mathis last month in the hopes of striking a deal outside the courtroom. In the letter, Chris states, “I am embarking on a new chapter of my life by making it into the finals for the first time in my professional career and it’s very important to me to have the people closest and dear to my heart to be able to share these moments with me.”

Bosh continues, “If we can make this happen please respond asap and I will set up the arrangements for pick up/drop off without you even having to lift a finger.”

According to the legal docs, Bosh never heard back from Mathis. So far, the judge has yet to rule on the matter … but a source close to Allison tells us she does not want to change the arrangement.

But there’s a silver lining in this story for Bosh — according to the original arrangement, he’s due to get custody of the kid back on June 11 … one day before Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

And since the Heat lost to the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday night — evening the series at 2 games a piece — it seems Bosh will get to play in front of his daughter after all.

Richie Sambora has left rehab

The Bon Jovi guitarist checked into a US treatment facility in April after deciding he need some time out to regain his sobriety and deal with exhaustion and after leaving rehab last night (05.06.11), he is now preparing to fly to Croatia on Wednesday (08.06.11) and join his bandmates – Jon Bon Jovi, Tico Torres and David Bryan – on their European summer tour.

Richie previously spent time at the Cirque Lodge treatment facility in Utah in 2007 following a troubled period in his life, which included his divorce from wife Heather Locklear, separation from girlfriend Denise Richards and death of his father Adam and pals said it was while Richie was on the band’s later tour, he came to the conclusion that he needed to seek help.

A source said: “Richie recently has been drinking too much, and wants to get his life together. Richie has had a busy year. I think this was a culmination of all the things that overloaded his life and finally he understood he needed to take care of himself.”

The ‘Harry Potter’ actress – who shot to fame at the age of 11 when she first appeared in the wizard franchise – admitted while she has been through a lot in her life, she often still feels “incredibly young and very naïve”.

She said: “I’m this very weird mix. In some senses, I feel as if I’m 100 years old. In others, I still feel incredibly young, very naïve and as if I haven’t seen much of the world at all. I’ve been incredibly protected, but in other ways I’ve had to be in situations that nobody my age would.

“Sometimes I think I’m the worst person in the world to be in the situation I’m in. I’m shy, I’m sensitive and I’m self-critical. It’s a terrible combination.”

The 21-year-old beauty also thinks her notoriety “intimidates” members of the opposite sex, because she is never pursued by men.

Penelope Cruz asks to be made ugly in her movie roles

The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ actress – who has a five-month-old son, Leo, with husband Javier Bardem – insists she isn’t vain about her appearance and is happy to change her looks to suit her characters.

She said: “I’m not scared to be ugly when I work – so I often ask for more moustache or black bags under my eyes.”

The Spanish beauty also revealed she prefers to be asked to change her accent for her movie roles because she becomes less critical of herself and more open to experimenting with her characters.

She explained to Closer magazine: “I love to spend hours with the dialogue coach because it creates a distance from myself. That way I don’t hear Penelope talking – I don’t criticise myself so much and have more freedom to try things.

“My grandmother was very gypsy in her spirit and she taught me to love words, especially poetry and flamenco and music and drama.”

Vanessa Paradis doesn’t worry about ageing

The 38-year-old singer-and-actress – who has children Lily-Rose, 12, and nine-year-old Jack with long-term partner Johnny Depp – has accepted her appearance will alter as she gets older, and isn’t concerned about doing anything to change it because she considers her achievements more important than her looks.

She said: “What do you wanna do? You can pull what you’re gonna pull… But it’s always going to be there – the age and the lack of limberness.

“It’s not about that. It depends what you’ve achieved in your life and where you are at in your life. And it’s not like I’m that old that I can’t look at myself in the mirror. I’m not there yet.”

Vanessa admits she feels more comfortable with herself now than she did in her twenties.

She added to Britain’s Vogue magazine: “I do, for sure, feel much better in my shoes than I did when I was 20.

“Just because you’re more at ease – at peace with yourself. Not that you’ve given up anything. But you’re more accepting of the way you are, and who you are. But I know so many women who feel like that.”

Britney Spears is being sued for $10 million

The ‘Toxic’ hitmaker and her father Jamie Spears – who is co-conservator of the star’s estate – is the subject of legal action by licensing firm Brand Sense Partners, who allege breach of contract and are claiming they have stopped receiving the 35 per cent commission that was agreed as part of their deal to launch Britney’s fragrance line.

The company have filed a request with Los Angeles Superior Court asking for the singer to be ordered to appear for a deposition in relation to the suit, as they say repeated attempts have been blocked because of her conservatorship.

According to documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Britney was given notice to appear for a deposition on April 29 but couldn’t make it, which sparked lawyers on both sides exchanging “over a dozen emails and phone calls counsel in an attempt to cooperate and find a mutually agreeable date for the deposition.”

Though Britney’s lawyers state the star cannot appear in a deposition because someone else has control of her affairs, Brand Sense insist they want her to do so as she signed the original paperwork.

Their documents state: “Ms. Spears is competent to testify, and she is the key witness in this case. She has direct knowledge of the operative agreement at the heart of this dispute and has signed each of them.”

The company argue that the ongoing attempts for a deposition are causing their legal bills to increase and are seeking “sanctions in the amount of $4,500 which represents their reasonable attorney’s fees.”

A hearing is set for July 11, when a judge will decide if Britney has to appear for the deposition.

The 37-year-old actress has been in a relationship with filmmaker George Augusto for nine years and though she often thinks about starting a family, she has no desire to settle down with kids just yet.

She said: “In a weird way I fluctuate between not giving it any thought and wanting to leave it up to whoever’s running the show, then giving it a lot of thought.

“I have to be honest, I don’t feel the urge yet. Maybe I’ll do it when I’m 41 or something, that’s happened to a lot of people I know who decided not to. I don’t feel the ticking clock.

“I feel I have time. Whether that’s a reality for me or not, I don’t know. I’ll just be patient.

“I’m not saying no, but I don’t know, I really don’t.”

Eva admits there are skills she would like to be able to master before becoming a parent, including cooking and swimming.

She told Stylist magazine: “Not knowing how to cook would worry me if I became a parent. There are so many things I need to get together before I do that.

“Cooking is one, but I also need to learn to swim. We just got a pool…”
