Gwyneth Paltrow kicked Matthew Morrison in the groin when filming ‘Glee’

The actress makes a special appearance as substitute teacher Holly Holiday in the musical TV drama and Matthew – who plays Will Schuester – admitted she worried about hurting him as they danced together.

He told website Access Hollywood: “We’re doing the Argentine tango, so you’re in-between their legs and you’re kicking up and stuff.” Pointing to his inner thigh, he added: “So she’s kicking in here, and she’s like, ‘I’m so scared that I’m going to hit your man-love!’ “And I said, ‘You know, just go for it.’ And she did and she connected a couple of times.”

Matthew added that the episode – due to air tonight (08.03.11) in the US – has a steamy theme and will feature Gwyneth’s character teaching a class about the birds and the bees. He added: “The episode is called ‘Sexy’ and Holly comes back as a sex-ed teacher and we teach the kids about sex through music.”

While Gwyneth, 38, is married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin, Matthew is single and admitted he doesn’t think he’d make a good boyfriend at present. He explained: “I’m not dating anyone. I don’t feel like I’m in a good place to be a good boyfriend. “I know how much work it is to be in a relationship and I don’t have the time to put in that work right now.”

Selena Gomez’s new song addresses internet “haters”

The singer and actress received death threats through twitter and Facebook when pictures of her kissing teen heartthrob Justin Bieber emerged online, and her latest track, ‘Who Says?’, is a response against such behaviour.

Selena told host Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show: “When I heard it, I felt like my fans need this song right now, especially with Twitter and Facebook. I feel like it’s really negative for me. “Within that world, there’s just such easy access to people’s feelings. This song is such a great message to my fans, and it really touched me when I heard it. “Basically, it’s to the haters, it’s to the people who try to bring you down.”

The track features lyrics including: “You made me insecure/ Told me I wasn’t good enough/ But who are you to judge/ When you’re a diamond in the rough.” Justin, 17, was rumoured to be dating Selena, 18, for months, but the couple only recently confirmed their relationship, making their first public appearance at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on February 27. They are presently apart, however, as Justin is on tour in Europe.

“Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada claims she was stabbed in the back by producers and wants to leave the show for good … TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the reality star tell us … Evelyn feels producers violated her trust by allegedly divulging sensitive information about an illicit relationship she had in the past.

We’re told Evelyn believes producers leaked the information to a female cast member in an effort to incite a violent confrontation between the two women on the show.

We’re told Evelyn feels completely betrayed and even fired off an email to producers last night … saying she wants to leave the show for good.

So far, no official comment from Evelyn.

Reality Star — GRUESOME Injury During Stunt Mishap

This is just disgusting … an extreme athlete SHATTERS his wrist while trying to navigate an obstacle on a reality show … and the whole stomach turning event was captured on tape.

It all went down during a recent taping for “Jump City” on G4 — featuring Parkour teams from across the country, competing against each other by maneuvering insane obstacles.

Parkour master Levi Meeuwenberg tripped over an elevated railing and plummeted head first down a 10 foot drop on to a concrete stairway. When Levi got up, his arm was pointing in all sorts of different directions.

We’re told Levi had pins and metal plates surgically implanted into his arm to help reset the bone.

No word on his current condition — but we’re guessing he won’t be competing any time soon.

The full episode airs tonight at 8 PM ET on G4.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee — Custody Battle Underway

Pete Wentz does NOT want his soon-to-be-ex wife Ashlee Simpson to get primary physical custody of their 2-year-old son Bronx — as she’s requested — and now he’s taking her on in court … TMZ has learned.

Wentz just filed legal papers in response to Ashlee’s divorce petition … asking the judge for JOINT physical and legal custody of their son. In her divorce petition, Ashlee checked the box that indicated she wanted primary physical custody.

According to the docs, filed in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ, Wentz also wants each party to pay their own legal fees … even though Ashlee asked the court to make Pete foot the bill for both sides.

And while Ashlee didn’t specify the official break-up date in her papers — Pete says the two called it quits on Feb. 9 … just days after Pete came home from a wife-less trip to Dallas for the Super Bowl.

Sheen’s Goddess Gets 2-Day Trial in DUI Case

Bree Olson — one half of Charlie Sheen’s goddesses — will get the chance to prove she wasn’t driving drunk in Indiana last month … but she’ll only have two days to do it.

TMZ has learned Olson — real name Rachel Oberlin — appeared in a Fort Wayne courtroom today and requested a 2-day trial to battle misdemeanor drunk driving charges.

As TMZ first reported, Olson was busted on Feb. 3 after allegedly crashing her Lexus … and then blowing a .19 when cops arrived on scene — more than twice the legal limit.

Olson’s trial is scheduled for June 8 and 9.

The No Doubt singer has been with the Bush musician for 14 years and she is “proud” of that “accomplishment” because of the revelations that have rocked their union.

Gwen – who has two sons, Kingston, four, and Zuma, two, with Gavin – told Elle magazine: “I’ve been with Gavin for 14 years, and, let’s face it, that is a huge accomplishment.

“I feel so proud of that – it hasn’t been the easiest journey.”

It emerged in 2004 that model Daisy Lowe is Gavin’s daughter from a relationship he had with her mother Pearl Lowe in the late 1980s. He had been her godfather prior to being told of his paternity.

Last year, the 45-year-old musician finally admitted to having a homosexual affair with gender-bending British pop star Marilyn in the same decade when he was in his late teens.

Speaking about his sexuality, Gavin – who had refused for years to comment on Marilyn’s claims they had a relationship – said at the time: “I think at the outset there was a sort of fear – that was right at the beginning of Bush, and I didn’t want it to be part of it.

“I’ve never wanted to appear closed about it. It’s not something I’ve talked about really because it’s always been in the glare of a tabloid world. It’s just one of those things – move on.

The 34-year-old actress – who has two children, 11-year-old daughter Ava and seven-year-old son Deacon, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe – is backing cosmetic firm Avon’s new empowerment charm bracelet, which is being sold for £5 in the UK to raise funds for domestic violence charities Refuge, Women’s Aid and Unifem and marks the centenary of International Women’s Day today (08.03.11).

Reese, who is an Avon Global Ambassador and Honorary Chair of the Avon Foundation for Women, said: “Although the problem may seem insurmountable, there are ways for women and men everywhere to help bring an end to violence against women across the globe.

“The Avon Empowerment Bracelet is a simple, but powerful, way to raise funds to reduce violence against women. TMZ has learned … Christina Aguilera has quietly put her home on the market — the home she bought from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne — for $13.5 million.

Aguilera’s move comes just weeks after her divorce from Jordan Bratman, and a week after her arrest for public intoxication.

Aguilera bought the 8,900 square foot house near the border of Bev Hills for around $11 million in 2008.

Cops: Wrestler Was ‘Belligerent,’ Arrest Was Warranted

A rep for the Columbus PD tells TMZ they feel they had every right to arrest former WWE wrestler Shad Gaspard this weekend … saying the video TMZ posted earlier doesn’t tell the whole story.

As TMZ previously reported, Gaspard was popped by Columbus PD for allegedly jaywalking and the video of his arrest shows three officers pinning him down while he, and several onlookers, tried to tell them he did nothing wrong.

Sgt. Rich Weiner, a rep for the Columbus PD, tells TMZ the police report says Gaspard was observed by an officer walking in the roadway and obstructing traffic. He says Gaspard ignored an officer’s request to get out of the street and refused to provide the officer with ID when asked several times.

Sgt. Weiner says, according to the report, the officer then tried to arrest Gaspard, but he “broke free from the officers as they attempted to take him into custody.”

The video we posted begins sometime after that, which Weiner says “does not show the events which led to Mr. Gaspard being put on the ground and being placed in handcuffs.”

Warner Bros. has just fired Charlie Sheen from “Two and a Half Men.”

Warner Bros. issued the following statement: “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ effective immediately.”

The statement does not say if the show will go back into production.

Brooke admits she fell off the wagon in the Bahamas, but claims the events over the last week — especially with Charlie Sheen — have shaken her to the core … and she’s now determined to stay clean and submit to regular testing.

Lawyers for Brooke and Charlie are negotiating today, trying to avert a court battle Tuesday morning.

We’re told Brooke is more than willing to give her lawyers authority to agree to drug testing. As a family source puts it, “She’ll do anything that needs to be done to keep her kids.”

Emma Watson is postponing her university studies

The ‘Harry Potter’ actress and model is taking time out from her education at the prestigious Brown University in the US to concentrate on her commitments to the film series.

In a message to fans, the literature student wrote on her website: “As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible.
“I’ve decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on Harry Potter (the last one comes out this summer) and to focus on my other professional and acting projects.

“I will still be working towards my degree… it’s just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought.” Although shooting on the ‘Harry Potter’ series – in which Emma plays one of the central characters, Hermione Granger – is over, the last movie, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2’, is yet to be released and Emma will be expected to work promoting it over the summer.

The 20-year-old actress also appears in the film ‘My Summer With Marilyn’ which is released later this year, and has signed up for another movie, ‘Perks of Being a Wallflower’. Emma also announced a new fashion venture last week, collaborating on the ‘Pure Threads by Emma Watson Alberta Ferretti’ line.

Mel Gibson — Guatemala-Bound

Mel Gibson is leaving for Guatemala tomorrow on a long-planned charity trip, and it looks like he’ll be out of the country when the D.A. charges him with misdemeanor domestic violence.

Sources tell TMZ … the purpose of the trip is associated with the campaign to save the rain forest in the country. Mel made the commitment to go several months ago.

As we have already reported, the D.A. will charge Mel with domestic violence, and a spokesperson for the office says the decision will likely come this week — while District Attorney Steve Cooley is on vacation.

So it looks like Mel will not be in the U.S. when he’s charged.

Ex-WWE Wrestler — The SHOCKING Arrest Footage

THREE cops held ex-WWE superstar Shad Gaspard down on the concrete in Ohio this weekend … insisting he was resisting arrest, despite a crowd of witnesses who say Shad did nothing wrong … and it was all caught on tape.

TMZ obtained the footage — which begins moments after the 6′8″, 300 pound wrestler was taken down to the ground by Columbus PD officers who accused him of jaywalking … an accusation Shad vehemently denied.

At one point during the incident, Shad can be heard saying, “Why am I being arrested? Because I’m big and I’m black?”

One of the officers approaches the camera man and explains, “[Shad] was resisting.”

At least 3 people who witnessed the arrest shouted at the officers — insisting Shad was being treated unfairly. The man operating the camera is Strikeforce fighter Josh Barnett.

Shad tells TMZ he feels he’s the victim of racial profiling — and claims during his ride to the police station, he heard the arresting officer saying,”He’s just one more …”

Shad adds, “I don’t know exactly what to do yet, but I will fight this as much as possible.”

He continues, “I’m not doing it for the money, I have the means, I’m doing this so cops don’t think they can do this to someone else … it’s not right.”

Shad is due back in court later today. So far, no word back from Columbus PD.

‘Last Comic Standing’ Finalist Dies

Comedian Mike DeStefano — one of the 5 finalists on last season’s “Last Comic Standing” — died last night … TMZ has confirmed.

DeStefano was a former heroin addict who had been clean for 11 years. According to the NBC website, he frequently performed at prisons and rehab centers for free.

According to reports, DeStefano died after suffering a massive heart attack last night.

His rep released a statement saying, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a dear friend, a true gentleman, a great comic, and a fierce warrior, Mike DeStefano.”

The statement continues …

“Mike had a lot of wisdom to share with the world from his own life lessons and he always did it with laughter and a smile.

It’s hard to think that there won’t be any more “hey sweetheart” calls, because Mike always made my day with his mix of kindness and warmth AND profanity filled rants against the wrongs of the world. He was the genuine article. We love you and will miss you, Mike.”

Charlie Sheen has just made it official — he’s fighting Brooke Mueller in court tomorrow for custody … TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with the case tell us … Charlie’s lawyer just gave Brooke’s attorneys notice that they will ask a judge Tuesday to undo the restraining order prohibiting Charlie from seeing his kids.

TMZ broke the story … settlement negotiations between Brooke and Charlie stalled this weekend, because of several issues including a requirement that a monitor be present when the kids are at Charlie’s home.

Demi Lovato has thanked her fans for giving her the strength to get through her time in rehab

The 18-year-old singer-and-actress left an unnamed clinic in Illinois in January after being treated for “emotional and physical issues”, and she has now released a video expressing her gratitude to everyone who supported her during the “darkest time of her life”.

In the video, posted on website cambio.com, she said: “I wanted to let you know that I am back and home. And I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the support you guys have given me along the way.

“I read all of the tweets and the fan mail and your support is what got me through this. So I couldn’t be more thankful for everything that you guys sent me.

“The journey that I’ve been on has been very, very difficult over the past few months. I was dealing with issues that I know not just girls my age, but of all ages are dealing with. I hope one day to raise awareness of everything so that I can help people in the same way you guys helped me through this rough time.

“I can’t tell you how much light you guys brought into my life at probably the darkest time of my life. Without you guys I wouldn’t be here today.”

Demi – who stars in the TV series ‘Sonny with a Chance’ – also revealed she is returning to work following her treatment and is looking forward about getting the chance to thank her fans in person.

She added: “I wanted to let you guys know that I’m excited to get back to work and I can’t wait to tell you what the future holds. I can’t wait to see you guys in person and thank you all individually. I love you all and I couldn’t have done this without you.”

Demi entered rehab voluntarily at the beginning of November 2010 after an incident in which she allegedly punched backing dancer Alex Welch.

In December, the Disney star settled her dispute with the dancer by giving her a sum of money in compensation.

The flamboyant pop star is fascinated by the mythical creature – which is typically depicted as a white horse with a single, straight horn growing from its forehead – because it is different and contains “magic”.

The ‘Born This Way’ singer said: “I’m actually quite obsessed with unicorns. They are in essence a mythical creature. The unicorn is born magical and it’s not the unicorn’s fault and it doesn’t make it any more or less special or any less unique but it can’t help that it was born with that magic.”

The eccentric musician believes her fascination with the creatures comes from her love of My Little Pony toys – miniature multi-coloured horses that also included ranges of unicorns and Pegasi, flying horses – when she was a child

Speaking on the ‘Big Top 40’ radio show in the UK, she added: “I had My Little Ponies. I was obsessed with the idea of a creature that was born with something magical that sort of made them the misfit in the world of the stallion.”

The 24-year-old singer is believed to be including a track entitled ‘Unicorn’ on her upcoming album ‘Born This Way’, although it has not yet been confirmed if the song will make the final LP.

Lawsuit: Aguilera Hit Stolen From ‘Moon People’

If Christina Aguilera’s hit “Ain’t No Other Man” sounds like a classic, that’s because its infectious beat comes from a 43-year-old song — and a new lawsuit claims Sony Music hasn’t paid the rightful owner for the sample.

Take a listen … Christina’s song clearly samples from a 1968 latin soul tune called “Hippy Skippy Moon Strut”(aka “I’ll Be a Lucky Man) by Dave Cortez and the Moon People. Gotta love that name.

According to the federal lawsuit, filed in New York, TufAmerica purchased exclusive rights to ‘Hippy Skippy’ in 2004 … however Sony Music — Christina’s label — made a deal with Codigo Music and the Clyde Otis Music Group to use the song.

TufAmerica is asking the court to declare it the rightful owner of the groovy ’60s hit … and to void the other publishers’ claims on the song. The company also wants damages — as in money.
