Mel Allegedly Begged Oksana for Forgiveness

Mel Gibson dropped to his knees the morning after the nuclear January 6 meltdown and begged Oksana Grigorieva for forgiveness … this according to sources connected with the case.

We’ve learned Oksana Grigorieva gave L.A. County Sheriff’s investigators an email — obtained by TMZ — in which Mel said to Oksana he wanted to “come by to make amends to you, Sacha and Lucia.” Mel added, “I spent 2 hours with a therapist today & have regained some perspective. What I’m telling you now is I am safe.”

Oksana responds by saying, “I have two broken front teeth and a concussion. I cannot c u today, I’m hurting.”

Mel then responds, “Did you get them fixed yet? When can I see you. I need to see you this evening & then I promise I’ll leave you alone for as long as you want if only for 10 minutes Please.”

We’ve learned Oksana has told Sheriff’s investigators Mel showed up at the house unannounced later that day, came inside, began to cry and begged for forgiveness. Oksana told investigators Mel crawled toward her but she walked away and Mel eventually left.

It’s important to note — we’re told there are hundreds of emails that went back and forth between Mel and Oksana, and the true story of what happened is only revealed by presenting all of them at once — which will come in due time.

Probation Dept. Cuts Lindsay Lohan a Break

Lindsay Lohan may actually skate on a failed drug test … sources connected with the case tell TMZ.

We’ve learned the second test Lindsay failed showed a positive reading for Adderall, but the L.A. County Probation Department is not recommending jail time for that violation — because there is an ambiguity in the paperwork that went from the court to the Probation Office.

The Probation Department is recommending 30 days probation for the first failed drug test which showed a positive reading for cocaine.

Now here’s where it gets interesting … Judge Elden Fox has a couple of options on Friday. He could sentence Lindsay on the spot to 30 days in jail for the cocaine violation … but because of overcrowding Lindsay would be released the same day.

Judge Fox’s other option is to deny her bail, throw her in jail and set a hearing that would take place 30 days later. Under this scenario, Lindsay would not be released early — she’d sit in jail for 30 days until her hearing. We’re told judges do this “all the time” when they want to make sure a defendant does the time.

Friday should be interesting.

Candy Spelling ‘Stalker’ Ordered to Stay Away

Candy Spelling can rest easier in her giant mansion — because a judge just granted a restraining order against a man she claims is a “mentally ill stalker” … TMZ has learned.

As we first reported, Candy filed for the restraining order earlier this month against 38-year-old Diyahml Farrakhan Muhammad — who was arrested outside of her home on August 31 and placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold. Candy claims he had been to the mansion at least nine times.

Per the restraining order, Muhammad must stay 100 yards away from Candy until 2013.

911: Ricki Lake Fire – ‘Mommy Had a Mistake’

Ricki Lake tries desperately to calm down her children as she calls 911 to report that she’s burned her house down … and TMZ has obtained the tape.

In the call, an extremely panicked Ricki tells the dispatcher, “The couch is on fire … please hurry,” after she tells her kids, “Mommy had a mistake.”

In fact, the house was on fire and burned down after Ricki attempted to refuel a portable heater and started the fire. L.A. County Sheriff’s arson investigators have concluded the whole thing was an accident.

The singer-and-actress – who has previously dated singer Nick Jones and ‘Twilight’ star Taylor Lautner – insists she would never date the 16-year-old pop star because it would be too “weird”.

When asked by Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show if she was romantically involved with Justin, she retorted: “Oh brother! He’s little. No, he’s like my little brother. It’s weird to me.”

The 18-year-old beauty recently admitted while she hasn’t been on a date in six months, she is happy being single until the right guy comes along.

She said: “Unfortunately, I haven’t been on a date in over six months. In hindsight, it doesn’t really seem that long between dates. The truth is I haven’t met anyone, but I’m young. I don’t need to have a boyfriend right now.

Evi Quaid Arrest Audio — Hysterical Screaming

TMZ has obtained audio of Randy and Evi Quaid’s latest arrest — and the blood curdling screams make it easy to understand why Evi got charged with resisting arrest.

The Quaids were busted on Saturday when they were discovered allegedly living in a home they had sold several years ago. During the arrest, Animal Control came to take care of the Quaids’ dog, Doji — and that didn’t sit well with Evi … at all.

On the tape she can be heard screaming and crying incessantly while an officer tries to calm her down.

Kendra Wilkinson is a “stay at home mom”

The 25-year-old former Playboy model – who gave birth to her first child Hank Baskett IV with her NFL football player husband Hank Baskett in December 2009 –has put her partying days behind her and spends most of her time caring for her son, who she believes is advanced for his age.

She said: “At the end of the day, I’m basically a stay at home mom that wants to love my son.

“He is so advanced it is not even funny. He already knows how to shoot a basketball. He’s so smart, he already knows how to put a ball through the basket. He just keeps on doing it.”

Kendra has also revealed she thinks of every day as a “special day” for baby Hank and is always purchasing gifts for him.

She told website Celebritybabyscoop.com: “I go to all these toy stores and all the cashiers always say, ‘Wow, is it his birthday or something?’ And I’m like, ‘No every day is a special day for him.’ I don’t look at toys as toys now.

“I look at everything as learning tools. They need to learn their shapes, colours, numbers, alphabet. So I give him as much as I can to learn.”

Kendra, 25, recently revealed she wants to expand her family soon so her son will have a sibling who is close to his age.

She said: “Yeah, about baby number two, we’re talking about it. Hank the other day just freaking called me and was like, ‘I want another baby. I want you pregnant!’

“I definitely want to try by next summer for sure. I want them close in age.”

Mel to Oksana — ‘I Could Commit a Crime’

Mel Gibson wrote a frantic, rambling letter to Oksana Grigorieva a year before their infamous, January blowout — in which he describes feeling so out of control that he “could drink or commit a crime.”

TMZ has obtained a copy of the letter – handwritten by Mel — and in it he says, “I’m so ragged I could drink or commit a crime. The anger seems to be out of my control -- I need to do something about it something lasting — not just a band aid.”

In the undated letter — which sources connected to the case tell TMZ was written in December 2008 — he says, “I don’t know why I’m so whacky and depressed but I need to get well and re-enter life. Please don’t be upset I’ve gone — I’m just not myself and feel bad when I am so f**ked up and sick around you.”

Mel goes on: “I don’t want to inflict this unhealthy version of myself on you.”

Mel theorizes, “Maybe it’s some kind of male menopause — or Brian’s s**t.” We’re told Brian is Mel’s holistic doctor.

In the letter, Mel repeatedly tells Oksana, “I love you” and says, “…this isn’t who I was meant to be — I know it! I’m scared I can’t get back.”

Lindsay Lohan — Probation Dept. Wants Jail

The L.A. County Probation Dept. will recommend that Judge Elden Fox throw Lindsay Lohan in jail for failing two drug tests … TMZ has learned.

We broke the story … Lindsay tested positive for both cocaine and amphetamines.

And this is interesting … our sources say the D.A. will not make a recommendation when Lindsay appears in court Friday AM.

Lindsay could get 30 days for each failed test.

Danielle Staub — star of her own sex tape — doesn’t want to be called a prostitute, a slut, a whore or a sex tape star … in court, according to the new legal documents she just filed.

It’s all over the $5 million defamation suit the former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star’s ex-husband Kevin Maher filed against her — claiming she falsely accused him of raping her on broken glass, sticking a loaded gun in her privates, and murdering her dog.

According to the new docs, obtained by TMZ, Staub wants to make sure any evidence depicting her as “a prostitute, or a slut, or a whore” — including her sexual history and sex tape – is excluded from the trial.

In the papers, Staub claims her dirty laundry would turn a jury against her.

Nicole Scherzinger wants to marry Lewis Hamilton soon

The Pussycat Dolls singer – who has been dating the British Formula 1 driver since 2008 – is ready to start trying for a baby but wants to get married before she has children.

Nicole, 32, said: “I’m really traditional – I’d want to be married before we have kids and that’s something we’ll hopefully be doing soon. Lewis is always telling me that I’d be a really good mom and I know he’d be a great dad. I love kids and I’m feeling broody.”

The pop beauty – who recently appeared as a guest judge on Simon Cowell’s pop star search show ‘The X Factor’ – admits she and 25-year-old Lewis are so happy together people can find them a bit “sickly”.

Sandra Bullock is talkin’ some serious smack about Jesse James‘ ex-wife … according to new legal docs.

Jesse’s ex, Janine Lindemulder, claims she was driving with daughter Sunny recently when the kid accused her of being a liar.

The conversation started innocently enough — when Janine was explaining to Sunny it was wrong to lie.

According to the docs, filed in O.C. Superior Court, Sunny blurted out, “Sandy said that you lied to the police and that’s why you went to jail.”

This isn’t the first time Janine has claimed Sandra bad-mouthed her in front of Sunny … as TMZ first reported, Janine alleges Sandra said within earshot of Sunny, “Quite frankly, I’m glad Janine is in jail. She can go ruin someone else’s life.”

James Gandolfini’s Truck Impounded

James Gandolfini had to bum a ride with a friend this AM, after cops impounded his car because Mr. G was driving on a suspended license.

Law enforcement sources tell us Gandolfini was pulled over for a traffic violation while cruising through the Hollywood Hills — and then determined he didn’t have a valid license.

We’re told Gandolfini’s truck was impounded at the scene  — and it will be locked up for the next 30 days.

Paris Hilton Detained in Japan Over Cocaine Case

TMZ has learned Paris Hilton is a captive in a Japanese hotel tonight and can’t enter the country … after being detained at the airport for hours over her guilty plea for cocaine possession.

A source close to Paris tells us she flew to Japan on business and was questioned by immigration authorities as she got off the plane. Immigration authorities are allowing Paris to stay at an airport hotel until the matter is resolved. For her part, Paris hasn’t decided whether to stay or leave.

Paris’ rep tells TMZ, “Paris Hilton was delayed by immigration authorities at a Japanese airport this evening after arriving for business obligations planned many months earlier. Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn’t want to let down her brands and many Asian fans.”

An employee at the Consulate-General of Japan in NYC tells TMZ … Japan is strict about letting people into the country with recent drug convictions but these matters are handled “on a case by case basis.”

Paris’ rep added … she will fulfill her contract but right now things are beyond her control.

We’re told there was a conflict within the ranks of those who questioned Paris — some of whom felt it was for show.

Paris Hilton is heading to Asia after escaping jail

The socialite has been planning a business tour of the Far East for six months and is now able to fly out after receiving a year’s probation order for cocaine possession.

Paris – who admitted two offences, drug possession and obstructing an officer, in court yesterday (20.09.10) in relation to her August arrest in Las Vegas when the illegal drug was found in her handbag – will touch down in Tokyo, Japan, on Wednesday (22.09.10) before she heads to Jakarta, Indonesia, on Friday (24.09.10).

While in Jakarta, the 29-year-old blonde will open a Paris Hilton shop and then conclude her trip in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Paris – who refused to cancel the work commitment in the wake of her court appearance – will also be unveiling her 2010 fall/winter collection of handbags, watches and her new perfume Tease.

As well as receiving the probation order – which will result in Paris being jailed for a year if she breaks the terms – the star must also complete a substance-abuse program, pay a $2,000 fine and complete 200 hours of community service.

Once she returns from Asia Paris will contact authorities to organise her community service and counselling.

‘O.C. Housewife’ Hubby Arrested for Domestic Violence

Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney’s estranged husband was arrested this morning on suspicion of domestic battery, according to law enforcement sources.

TMZ obtained Simon Barney’s mug shot. He’s in the process of divorcing Tamra, and sources tell us they were arguing over their dog when Simon allegedly threw the dog’s leash at Tamra and hit her wrist.

Sources say Tamra called the police. Simon is still in custody … he’s being held on $10,000 bail.

Lady Gaga urged the military to dismiss gay prejudiced soldiers at a rally in America yesterday (20.09.10)

The 24-year-old singer proposed her own alternative to the US military’s policy of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ – which requires homosexual service members to keep quiet about their sexuality on the proviso they won’t be asked about it.

Speaking at a gathering of over 2,000 people in Maine before the US Senate vote on the legislation today (21.09.10), she said: “Doesn’t it seem to you that we should send home the prejudiced straight soldier who hates the gay soldier?

“I am here today because I want to propose a law called ‘If you don’t like it, you can go home’. A law that sends home the homophobes, that sends home the prejudiced. If you are not committed to perform with excellence as a United States soldier because you don’t believe in full equality, go home. If you are not honourable enough to fight without prejudice, go home.”

The eccentric pop star wore a long white wig, black suit and a patriotic stars and stripes tie to deliver her message where she likened equality to “prime rib”.

She said: “Equality is the prime rib of what we stand for as a nation. And I don’t get to enjoy the greatest cut of meat that my country has to offer. Are you listening? Shouldn’t everyone deserve the right to wear the same meat dress that I did? Repeal ‘Don’t ask, Don’t tell’.”

Gaga – who recently revealed in a video blog that she wants to be the voice of her generation, addressing the big issues of the world – also laid down an ultimatum to the Senate and President Barack Obama.

She said: “I’m here today in this park, in Maine, to say that, if the Senate and the president are not going to repeal this ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy, perhaps they should be more clear with us about who the military is fighting for, who our tax dollars are supporting and, ultimately, how much does the prime rib cost?”

Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband is set to audition for her on ‘American Idol’

Ojani Noa, a former waiter from Cuba who became Jennifer’s first husband when they married in 1997, is planning to sing on the show in Los Angeles tomorrow (22.09.10), and will even serenade the rumoured judge her with one of her own songs.

The pop hopeful’s manager, Ed Meyer, said: “Ojani Noa will be in line at the Forum on September 22 to try out for ‘American Idol’ in front of his ex-wife.

“He escaped Cuba and married Jennifer Lopez, now he wants to be the American Idol. Of course he will sing a Jennifer Lopez song.”

Ojani’s stunt is set to take place on the same day as the new judging panel for the show is officially unveiled by host Ryan Seacrest, which is said to feature Jennifer – who has reportedly signed a $12 million contract to join the series – alongside original judge Randy Jackson and two other new panel members.

Ojani – whose marriage to Jennifer lasted less than a year – initially remained on good terms with the singer-and-actress after they split, but the former couple have fallen out in recent years, after Jennifer hired and subsequently fired Ojani as head chef of her now closed Latin restaurant, Madre’s, in 2002.

He has since been banned from publishing a tell-all book he wrote about the 41-year-old star by one court, and last year a judge ruled he was also not allowed to commercially release footage from the couple’s honeymoon.

The Quaids: We’re Victims of a Corpse Conspiracy

Randy and Evi Quaid claim they’ve been targeted in a diabolical scheme to steal property that rightfully belongs to them … and they insist the mastermind is using a dead person to carry out the plot.

Long story short — the Quaids tell TMZ someone forged the signature of a dead woman named Ronda Quaid on a legal document back in 1992 … and wrongfully transferred ownership of their house to a third party.

As we previously reported, the Quaids were arrested this past weekend — for allegedly squatting on the property, located in Santa Barbara.

But the Quaids believe they had every right to be on the property … and insist they can provide proof of the “dead person” scheme.

Evi says they showed up to the house this past weekend to simply perform two decades worth of cleanup and maintenance … and also to hang a self-portrait  over the fireplace.

We ran into Randy in L.A. yesterday, where he told us he’s ready to fight it out in court, saying, “If you don’t stick up for what’s yours, and defend what’s yours … what are you?”

Oksana to Mel: ‘U Dint Do Anything’

Oksana Grigorieva sent Mel Gibson an email on March 1, 2010 … telling him he had no reason to be hard on himself and professing her love for him … at the very time she now claims she was in fear for her life.

Oksana’s email was sent less than 2 hours after she received an email from Mel in which he called himself a “f**king failure.” TMZ has obtained copies of both Mel’s email and Oksana’s response.

Oksana emails on her iPhone, “Please don’t torcher urself like that, please!!!! U dint do anything to be so hard on urself. U r amazing man and always will be in my eyes and I will make sure Lucy knows it.”

Oksana’s email was sent nearly 2 months after their blowout argument on January 6, in which she claims Mel knocked two of her teeth out. Sources say Oksana told Sheriff’s investigators in March she was in mortal fear of Mel and felt he was a danger to Lucia.

But Oksana’s email goes on: “U r an anusually extraordinary person. Ur versitile talent speaks louder than the words! U r capable to make a masterpiece about jesus and to build the church for him! U r just one person, but u did this! In itself it’s a lifetime wearthy atchivements, but for only chosen one.”

Oksana ends her email by writing, “I love u, that doesn’t change. Even if u don’t want it anymore.”
