Kellan Lutz was cut by a machete while shooting his latest film.

The 25-year-old actor loves tackling his own stunts but left his agent horrified when the knife action got out of hand on his new movie ‘The Killing Game’.

He explained: “I loved doing stunts; I don’t have tattoos and I always say that my scars and bruises are my tattoos. I just did this movie called ‘The Killing Game’ and we had real machetes and my chest got cut up by accident. My agent was like, ‘That’s your money maker! You can’t ruin that!’ ”

Kellan – who is best known for playing Emmett Cullen in the ‘Twilight Saga’ – was left disappointed when he had to axe plans to indulge his action-loving side starring opposite Sylvester Stallone in ‘The Expendables’ because it clashed with his commitment to the vampire series.

He explained in an interview with website Dose.ca: “I love action movies, I want to work with Sylvester Stallone one day. I was supposed to work on his movie ‘The Expendables’.

“I auditioned for it and I got the role, but the scheduling didn’t work out with ‘New Moon’. And I was just like, ‘What a bummer.’ It has seven of my favourite action stars. Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Randy Couture… it’s such an all-star cast. If the name ‘Kellan’ would have been up there with them, I would have died happy.”

A rep for Dr. Conrad Murray’s defense team tells TMZ Joe Jackson’s lawyer is flat-out wrong when he claims Dr. Murray was drinking at a strip club hours before Michael Jackson died.

TMZ broke the story … Joe Jackson’s lawyer, Brian Oxman, has served Murray with legal papers as a prelude to a wrongful death lawsuit. In those papers, Oxman claims Dr. Murray was at Sam’s Hofbrau — a strip club — on June 25, 2009, prior to treating Jackson.

The rep for the defense team tells TMZ Dr. Murray was not at a strip club when Oxman claims, nor was he there the night before. As the rep put it, “In the weeks before Michael died, Murray barely had time to take a shower.”

The rep also says Oxman got it wrong when he claimed Dr. Murray was drinking, because “He does not drink.”

As for whether Murray has ever frequented the club, the rep did not know one way or the other.  But one of the waitresses at the club tells TMZ Dr. Murray was at the club sometime in June of last year.  A stripper who works at the club tells TMZ she vividly remembers the night before Michael died because she’s a big MJ fan, and says, “It was dead that night. Dr. Murray definitely was not there.”

The club’s owner tells TMZ … at least twice in the last 6 months, a private investigator came to the club and asked various employees a bunch of questions about Conrad Murray and if they remembered seeing him at the club.

The ‘Harry Potter’ actor has been so busy working he has failed to keep up with the current music scene and has now given up trying to know what is popular.

He said: “I’m so out of the loop when it comes to pop culture that I kind of don’t even try anymore. Only heard Justin Bieber for the first time two weeks ago. I genuinely thought it was a woman singing. I’d never heard it before.”

While the 21-year-old star admits to being clueless about current music, he could soon be a chart rival to Justin after admitting he has been having singing lessons and honing his vocal talents by singing in karaoke bars with his ‘Harry Potter’ co-stars.

He told MTV News: “I love karaoke. I am one of those people [who says], ‘No, no, I can’t, I couldn’t possibly, no I won’t… all right, give me the mic!’ And then I’m elbowing other people out of the way to get to the stage.”

Speaking about a recent karaoke night, he added: “I sang Elvis Presley’s ‘Hound Dog.’ That, and then I did ‘Feeling Good’ by Muse. That was my proudest moment, because I actually did that rather well. I was really pleased, because I can sing.

“I’ve been having singing lessons for two and a half years. I’m not amazing, obviously, but I’m all right.”

Robert Pattinson is happy the ‘Twilight Saga’ is almost complete.

The British actor – who has become an international heartthrob for his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the hit movie franchise – admits working on the series can be “boring” and he is delighted he will soon finish work on the final instalment, ‘Breaking Dawn’, which will be split into two films.

He said: “It can get a little boring. The good news is that the whole thing is done in seven months.”

The 24-year-old London born star – who is in a relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart – admits he still feels “bothered” by other people’s opinions of him and admits he is tired of reading about himself.

He added in an interview with The Times newspaper: “Kristen is better about dealing with photographers than I am. I’ve learnt to let it go a bit, but I’m still really bothered by it. The more you are exposed, the more people irrationally hate you, I think we reached a point a peak with ‘New Moon’ where the stories became so saturated into the culture that it started to feel normal. It’s like the tabloids don’t know what to write any more because they’ve used up all their scandals.”

Despite admitting he is bored by the films the actor recently expressed his delight at the latest instalment of the series, ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’.

He enthused: “I’ve seen a very early cut. It’s good. It’s different. It’s really different, like, it’s kind of serious.

“All the kinds of fight scenes that are in ‘New Moon’… they’re real fights now in ‘Eclipse’. They’re not, like, fantasy things. It’s like a horror film!”

Nicole Richie Probation Extended Because of Babies

TMZ has learned … Nicole Richie’s probation was just extended by a year, because she’s been so preoccupied with her kids, she hasn’t taken the required number of alcohol ed courses.

Nicole is on probation because of her 2006 DUI, when she was arrested after driving the wrong way on an L.A. freeway.

Nicole’s probation was due to terminate next month, but today in court, her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, explained to the judge … because she had program-approved leaves of absence in order to deliver and care for her two kids, she didn’t complete the required number of alcohol ed courses.

So Nicole’s probation was extended until March, 2011.

The judge said he would terminate her probation earlier if she completes the alcohol ed program before March.

The alcohol ed report gives Nicole high marks, noting, “Her attitude is excellent.”  Hear that Lindsay?

More breaking news drama on the split of the century — TMZ has learned Vienna Girardi wanted out of the relationship because she just realized the guy she met on a national TV show … is a “fame whore.”

Sources close to Vienna tell us her relationship with “The Bachelor” Jake Pavelka ended last night around 6 PM — and OMFG … the final conversation took place over the phone!!!!!!

Vienna’s stepmom tells us when Vienna moved out of Jake’s place this weekend — she left a goodbye note … and the 3 carat Neil Lane diamond ring that he used to pop the question on “The Bachelor.”

But sources close to the show tell us Jake is required to give the ring back to the production company. The deal is — they only get to keep the ring if they get married.

We’re told Jake believed Vienna was “stepping out” with Gregory Michael — an actor on the ABC Family show “Greek.”

The story had been out that the 2 were flirting at a recent event, but apparently Jake took it to heart.

Sources at “The Bachelor” say they don’t know if Vienna was in fact doing the nasty with Greg — but Jake was convinced enough to end the relationship in the last 24 to 48 hours.

Russell Brand is seeking love advice from his friends.

The ‘Get Him to the Greek’ star admits his romance with Katy Perry is unfamiliar territory so he has asked close pals David Walliams – who recently married model Lara Stone – and rocker Noel Gallagher for tips on sustaining a lasting relationship.

He explained: “I spoke to David Walliams and he said, ‘Oh it’s difficult because you have to agree on everything’ but my advice from Noel Gallagher was to say yes to everything, not just weddings but in relationships too.

“I asked Noel how to get by in a relationship and he said, ‘Just say yes to everything they say’. It works, I’ve been using that system and it’s working well.

“Then Walliams yesterday added, ‘Don’t act like you don’t care though’. Instead, you have to be like this, ‘Oh that seems good to me’, so I’m just agreeing to things – while caring about them.”

Though the British star admits he would never want to move to Los Angeles for good because of his family and favourite soccer team, he has already sent his beloved pet cat Morrissey to live with his fiancee.

He added to UK TV show ‘GMTV’: “I don’t want to ever leave our country because I love it here, but in America they make more films. My mum is here and West Ham are here.

“Morrissey has moved to America now. He lives with Katy’s cat Kitty Purry and our new cat Krusty.

Gary Coleman secretly took out a restraining order against his ex-wife a few months before he died.

The ‘Different Strokes’ actor – who passed away last month after suffering a brain haemorrhage – claimed in the documents that Shannon Price had moved back into his Utah home against his wishes while he was in hospital.

In the documents – which were filed under ‘John Doe Vs. Jane Doe’ – the actor alleged Shannon: “has shown a tendency to damage, destroy and steal my property and I believe she will continue to do so in my absence and while she is trespassing in my home.”

However, though the order was granted on February 19 2010, Gary never served it on his former spouse, who has said they were on the verge of remarrying before his death.

The actor’s former agent Robert Malcolm told RadarOnline.com: “The dynamics of their relationship were very unhealthy.

“This time he knew he needed to break away so he made sure she was not allowed in his home, but then he had feelings for her even though she was abusive and so he allowed her back into his home.”

Gary – who had his lawyer make an ex parte court appearance to get the restraining order, meaning all parties did not need to be present for the hearing – also explained he feared Shannon’s revenge, which is why he applied for the document under a false name.

He wrote: “I believe if she is given any warning of this pending order to require her to immediately vacate the home, she will cause more damage and destroy more irreplaceable memorabilia, documents, personal papers and other such valuables.

“I would therefore ask the Court to issue this order ex parte requiring her removal from the home and restraining her from going upon the premises of my home under any circumstances.”

He also requested police be present when Shannon removed her belongings.

Dame Helen Mirren “prostitutes” herself “quite often”.

The 62-year-old Oscar-winning actress – who plays Grace Botempo, a whorehouse madam, in her new film ‘Love Ranch’ – thinks actors do the opposite of what women working in the sex industry do, but still have to use their assets to get work.

She explained: “The girls who work in the sex industry, they put themselves out of their bodies. An actor does sort of the opposite. People say ‘Oh, you play someone else.’ I’m always playing myself. You can only do it by going into yourself, in the deepest, most terrifying way.

“Not to say I haven’t ever prostituted myself quite often and happily. But in my heart it’s very serious.”

The British star – whose husband Taylor Hackford directed her new movie – loved working on the film because she got to act out her secret dream to be a “bad girl”.

The lawyer for the Michael Jackson estate thinks the businessman who partnered with Katherine Jackson is hurting Michael’s children — and is threatening legal action if the dude doesn’t stop.

Howard Mann — whose business ventures include online nude gambling — got Katherine Jackson to agree to publish the book, “Never Can Say Goodbye,” scheduled for release this week.

Mann also told TMZ he and Katherine will make record deals for 273 unreleased Michael Jackson songs — part of an MJ treasure trove he acquired in a fire sale after Joe Jackson failed to pay a storage bill.

But estate lawyer Howard Weitzman is ticked, claiming Mann “may be using his relationship with Mrs. Jackson to infringe upon Michael Jackson’s copyrights … to the detriment of, among others, Michael’s 3 kids.”

Weitzman says Mann has no right “to exploit any estate assets” and he will take “whatever action is necessary to prevent him from unlawfully profiting.” TMZ translation — the estate will sue his ass if Mann goes forward.

We’re told Katherine Jackson is happy with the job the executors have done — namely filling the coffers with hundreds of millions of dollars — but sources say family members are in her ear, getting her to sign off on ventures that end up hurting the estate, MJ’s kids, and Katherine herself.

She said: “When I wake up in the morning, I feel just like any other insecure 24-year-old girl. Then I say, ‘B***h, you’re Lady Gaga, you get up and walk the walk today.’ ”

The Bad Romance hitmaker – real name Stefani Germanotta – takes her image so seriously, she wouldn’t even let ill-health stop her from dressing up.

She explained to Rolling Stone magazine: “If I were to ever, God forbid, get hurt onstage and my fans were screaming outside of the hospital, waiting for me to come out, I’d come out as Gaga.”

Despite her gruelling dance routines, the star also refuses to drink water on stage as she thinks showing signs of weakness such as dehydration would let her fans down.

She added: “I don’t even drink water onstage in front of anybody, because I want them to focus on the fantasy of the music.”

Gaga takes her inspiration from the late Michael Jackson – who died of acute Propofol intoxication last June – because of the way he carried on even after his hair caught fire during filming of a Pepsi commercial in 1984.

Anna Nicole Smith Judge — It Was ‘Foul Play’

The judge who decided where Anna Nicole Smith would be buried has written a new book claiming someone is guilty of manslaughter in her death, but he went even further with TMZ, calling Anna’s death “a potential murder case.”

Former judge Larry Seidlin, who authored “The Killing of Anna Nicole Smith,” tells TMZ, there is no way the Seminole County Sheriff’s Department was sophisticated enough to properly investigate Anna’s death.  As Seidlin put it, “They can tell you how to get to Elm Street or the public library, but this case was too much for them.”

Seidlin says, “I think there was foul play and it should be investigated by an independent agency.”

Seidlin claims Anna died under “highly unusual circumstances.”  As he put it, “She never left her room.  She checked into room 607 at the Hard Rock and never left.  When she was checking in she couldn’t even stand up.”

Seidlin would not say who he believed should be considered a suspect.

Showdown Between Katherine and MJ Estate

TMZ has learned Katherine Jackson has gone into multiple businesses with a man who promotes online nude gambling — and the stage is now set for a showdown between Katherine and the Michael Jackson estate.

Katherine met Howard Mann five months ago. We’re told she instantly liked him, began inviting him to her grandson’s basketball games and other events, and then they started talking about publishing a book.

The book — “Never Can Say Goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archives” — is being published this week and sold online at www.jacksonsecretvault.com.

But there’s more. Mann tells us he and Katherine are producing a biopic on Katherine Jackson’s life. And he says they’re going into business to sell 273 unreleased MJ tracks. Mann bought a storage locker owned by the Jackson family after they didn’t pay the storage bill.  There was a treasure trove of stuff in the locker, including the 273 tracks, along with 19,800 photos.

But we’ve learned the Michael Jackson estate is drawing a line in the sand. Estate lawyer Howard Weitzman tells TMZ, “Mr. Mann can listen to the tracks in his living room or play them at cocktail parties, but he has absolutely no right to the intellectual property and has no claim to the music.”

‘Sandlot’ Lifeguard Pleads No Contest in DUI Case

Marley Shelton — who played the hot lifeguard in “The Sandlot” – copped a sweet plea deal in her DUI case today … because the court dismissed her two DUI charges.

Shelton — aka Wendy Peffercorn — ended up pleading no contest to one charge of speed exhibition and was sentenced to two years probation and fined $240 plus penalties … which is exactly how her lawyer said it would play out.

As we first reported, Shelton was arrested in Hollywood on April 30 after police say she failed a field sobriety test.

TMZ has learned Dr. Conrad Murray will go about his normal business — seeing patients — on the anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death.

We’re told Murray will not visit MJ’s mausoleum Friday, because it will cause a scene. He will, we’re told, pay his respects around that time, when no one is there.

Miranda Sevcik, the PR rep for Murray’s lawyer, Ed Chernoff, tells TMZ, “Dr. Murray will be mourning privately. He doesn’t want to distract people by reminding them of Michael’s death. He’d rather people remember his friend, Michael Jackson, as he was in life.”

The 23-year-old reality TV star – who filed for a legal separation from her ‘The Hills’ co-star Spencer Pratt earlier this month – is reportedly keen to put an end to the couple’s 19-month marriage as soon as possible.

According to reports, the self-confessed plastic surgery addict has hired long-time friend of the Montag family, Jodeane Farrell, to act on her behalf during the divorce proceedings.

Farrell – who has been practicing family law for 24 years – is taking steps to get the quickest divorce possible in California, and will be setting up a meeting with the former lovers in the next two weeks.

According to gossip website TMZ, Heidi wants her lawyer to mediate the divorce, meaning the pair will try to come to an agreement with regards to their property, assets and liabilities, and will then wait for the six months required by Californian law before ending their marriage.

The blonde beauty filed for separation on June 8, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Since then, Heidi is believed to have hired a private investigator in the hope of finding out whether Spencer has been romancing other women.

An insider recently revealed: “She is very anxious to find out if her suspicions and the rumours are true, especially if he’s spent any money on another woman.

“Heidi has hired a former member of the sheriff department, who now works as a private investigator, to look into it. It is really important to Heidi to find out if Spencer has been cheating on her.”

Knock us over with a feather. TMZ has learned … Heidi Montag is so serious about ending her marriage to Spencer Pratt, she’s already lawyered up and she has a game plan.

We’ve learned Heidi has picked Jodeane Farrell to handle her divorce and this lawyer isn’t playing games … she’s already taking steps to get the quickest divorce possible in California.

Farrell — who has practiced family law for 24 years and currently handles divorce mediations — will be setting up a meeting with Heidi and Spencer in approximately two weeks. We’re told both Heidi and Spencer want the divorce mediated — meaning the two will try and hash out a property settlement privately, wait the six months required by California law, and end their marriage.

Heidi wants Farrell to be the mediator, provided Spencer is down with it. Farrell is a longtime friend of the Montag family, but she tells TMZ she doesn’t think there will be a problem in mediating the deal.

Farrell plans to meet with Heidi and Spencer together, and if he’s on board she’ll schedule a meeting with their accountant to go over assets and liabilities.

And Farrell says … so far things are “very amicable” between Heidi and Spencer.

Michael Jackson’s children will start school in September – so they can make friends.

The late King of Pop’s mother Katherine Jackson – who is the legal guardian of his three kids, Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 12, and eight-year-old Prince Michael II, known as Blanket – has revealed the trio are due to enrol at a new education centre later in the year, to help them befriend youngsters their own ages.

Katherine said: “They don’t have any friends. They don’t go to school, they have private lessons at home – but that will change in September, when they are due to enrol at private college. But they have their cousins and aunts and uncles around them constantly, and that’s helped them immensely.

“To them, it’s normal, it’s the life they have known. They have a certain time to go to bed, then they get up and get dressed for lessons. They practise karate and swim, which they love.”

Michael died on June 25 2009 from acute Propofol intoxication, aged 50.

However, his children provide the Jackson family with continuous memories of the pop star, because they all has personality traits similar to his.

Katherine explained to the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “Paris has that lovely way, just like him, and I see his talent in her. Whatever she does, she is very good at it. She’s a good artist, she plays the piano and she wants to be an actress. Prince is serious about a lot of things. He wants to be a cameraman or produce movies. He is dedicated to that, like Michael was. And Blanket is very playful, like Michael was.”

Katherine, 80, has also revealed her son was so protective of his young children – who he raised alone – he deliberately kept his fame from them for as long as possible – so they wouldn’t get “egos”.

She added: “He said, ‘I never told them what I do’. He didn’t want them to know… He didn’t want them walking around with egos! So when they went to the 30th show, the two little ones were in the audience. Michael got backstage and they said, ‘You’re a big star! When I grow up, I want to be like you!’ Michael said that gave him the biggest chuckle.”

The X Factor judge – who is currently in Australia preparing for the birth of her first child with British boyfriend Kris Smith – claims she never saw a baby in her future until she became pregnant.

She said: “I just never thought it was something I would do. I had never been broody. No clock was ticking. And I would never have wanted to do it unless I was in the right relationship. He felt like the one.

“Kris loves me pregnant and that’s a big, big help. You do have hormonal days and I think if anything was said that left me thinking, ‘What did he mean by that?’ it might have got to me. But he is loving every minute of it.”

The 38-year-old singer also admits her older sister Kylie Minogue is not jealous of her having a baby and is simply glad to be alive following her recovery from breast cancer.

She said: “Someone asked me recently, ‘Is your sister jealous?’ I said, ‘My sister is alive.’ ”

Discussing her place on the judging panel on British TV talent show The X Factor, Dannii admits she finds comparisons with Cheryl Cole tough, but is hardened to it.

She told You magazine “It’s hard on both of us, because you want to have your own vibe and do you own thing.

“It reminded me of the years I’ve been through with Kylie, ‘Who’s better?’ , ‘Who’s prettier?’, Whose got nicer clothes?’ ”

Katie Price is to perform her new single at her wedding.

The glamour model is having her marriage to cage fighter Alex Reid blessed in a televised ceremony in the coming weeks and is planning to treat guests – including TV talent show judge Piers Morgan and singers Michelle Heaton and Simon Webbe – to a preview of the as-yet untitled disco track.

The groom is also reportedly planning to join in with the entertainment, performing with dance troupe Diversity – who won UK TV talent show ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2009 – after the couple undertake their first dance.

A source said: “Katie loves Diversity, so Alex is thrilled to be working with them. They’ve arranged to lead the first dance, then Alex will dance with them.

“But it’s raised a few eyebrows among his friends. Nobody’s denying Diversity are brilliant at what they do. But urban street dance isn’t the most romantic choice for a wedding.”

The event is expected to be a big departure from the glamour model’s previous wedding to singer Peter Andre, with Katie keen to have a classy affair.

The source added to The Sun newspaper: “This time she’s going to be a lot more understated. There will also be no sit down meal and instead she is going for a buffet style dinner. She wants a ball rather than a disco for a party.”

Katie – who married Alex in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas in February – admits she is excited to get the blessing to her new husband underway.

She said: “It’s going to be great sharing this fantastic day with my friends and family. I can’t wait to celebrate our love for each other again.”
