Robert Pattinson finds it hard to be spontaneous.

The ‘Twilight‘ heartthrob admits he can’t just do things on a whim and has to think about what he says and the consequences of his actions before he actually does them.

He said: “I just like doing things where you have a little time to think about what you’re saying. I’ve always had a problem actually thinking before I open my mouth. Yeah, being spontaneous or just thinking. I have a problem with thinking.”

The 24-year-old actor recently shaved his hair off and joked he had to do it because he had headlice, also known as nits.

He joked on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘: “It’s three days old. I got a terrible infestation of nits and I had to shave it all off.”

However, he soon reassured his army of females fans by revealing the real reason behind his new image was for his new movie ‘Water For Elephants‘, which he begins filming alongside Reese Witherspoon later this week.

He said: “No, I’m doing a film. It’s about a circus in the 1930s.”

Robert will play a circus worker who falls in love with an older woman, the wife of an animal trainer.

Murdered Woman’s Husband Gets TV Show

Apparently you can be a person of interest in your wife’s murder and still get a piece of a show on the CW.

TMZ has learned, the CW network has just picked up a show, partly owned by Bruce Beresford-Redman — the ex-”Survivor” producer whose wife was murdered in Mexico.

Beresford-Redman and his partner, Rick Hurvitz, pitched a show to the CW called “Shedding for the Wedding,” a weight-loss reality show featuring couples who are competing to lose weight for their big day.

We’re told the casting director used to help sell the show was Joy Pierce — the woman with whom Beresford-Redman allegedly had the affair at the time his wife was murdered.

The CW will announce tomorrow that “Shedding for the Wedding” will be part of the 2010-11 season. In addition to Beresford-Redman and Hurvitz, David Broome of 25/7 Productions is an exec producer.

A CW source tells TMZ Hurvitz ended his partnership with Beresford-Redman after the murder, but we’ve learned their company which sold the show — Mindcrime, Inc. — is still an active California corporation.

The CW source also told TMZ Beresford-Redman will remain a profit participant, but only if he can perform his duties as an executive producer — which means he has to come back to the States when the show is being produced.  But, we’re told, Beresford-Redman will not be listed as an executive producer in the credits.

We could not reach Hurvitz or Beresford-Redman for comment.

D.A. Down With Warrant to Arrest Lindsay

The L.A. County District Attorney wants the judge in the Lindsay Lohan case to issue a warrant for her arrest … this according to well-placed sources in the D.A.’s office.

It’s solely up to Judge Marsha Revel, who has already made it clear … she will issue a bench warrant if Lindsay doesn’t show up for her probation progress report tomorrow … and as we first reported, Lindsay will not be there.

Lindsay claims her passport was stolen and she’s getting a replacement tomorrow.

We’re told Lindsay will not be arrested when she lands at LAX … it’s a misdemeanor warrant and she’ll almost certainly be allowed to turn herself into the court.

Our D.A. sources say the prosecutor in the case will scoff at Lindsay’s excuses for not completing her alcohol ed classes and for not appearing in court.  As one source said, “She needs to feel the consequences, and jail could end up being a good thing for her.”

Chi Chi Rodriguez — The Robbers Were ‘Gentle’

Chi Chi Rodriguez says he’s doing just fine after he was robbed at gunpoint in his home in Puerto Rico this morning — noting that the bad guys were surprisingly “gentle.”

TMZ just spoke with the 74-year-old golf legend, who told us four men broke into his place at 1:30 this morning, while he and his wife were sleeping.

Chi Chi says one of the men tied up the “night watchmen” who guards the complex, while three other men rushed inside the home.

Chi Chi says one of the men had a pistol — the other guys were carrying zip ties and duct tape … and immediately tied up the couple, though he notes they were “gentle and very respectful of my wife.”

Rodriguez says the men then proceeded to take everything in the house — jewelry, cash, personal belongings … and even his wife’s wedding ring right off her finger.

Chi Chi says the whole thing took around 45 minutes — and it was the “scariest situation I’ve ever been in.”

Cops and federal authorities are now on the case — so far, no arrests have been made.

Chi Chi says neither he nor his wife were injured — and he’s still planning on making a publicity appearance in South Carolina this weekend.

Lindsay Lohan Will Be a No-Show in Court

Lindsay Lohan will not make it to court tomorrow … TMZ has learned.

Sources tell TMZ … Lindsay claims someone stole her passport in Cannes.  Lindsay claims she actually went to the airport yesterday trying to get on a flight without a passport but was denied boarding.  We’re told she had a reservation on the flight so she could make it back to L.A. for tomorrow’s mandatory court hearing.

Sources tell TMZ Lindsay has made an appointment with the U.S. Embassy tomorrow at 9 AM to get another passport so she can fly home.

As for the court hearing, Judge Marsha Revel has said she will issue a warrant for Lindsay’s arrest if she doesn’t show up at 8:30 AM. But Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, tells TMZ, “I was on the phone with Lindsay’s assistant the entire night and we’re doing everything we can to resolve this issue and get her back to L.A.”

Holley says, “Lindsay is distraught because it was her intention to get back to L.A. today to do more alcohol education classes today and appear in court tomorrow.”

Polanski Party, Table for 2?

Lindsay Lohan has just over 24 hours to make it back to L.A. — or she will become a fugitive from justice.

Lohan has been ordered to come to court … and as TMZ first reported the command performance is because the judge has determined she has not complied with the terms of her probation.  If Lindsay does not show tomorrow, the judge will issue a warrant for her arrest.

It’s 4 PM in Cannes, and Lindsay is still there.

We checked with the airlines.  There is no way Lindsay can make it back flying commercial for the 8:30 AM hearing.

It’s possible, of course, someone could offer Lindsay a mercy flight on a private jet.  But so far there’s no sign of that.

So here’s where it stands.  No evidence of Lindsay making her way back to L.A.  Officials from Lindsay’s alcohol ed course have told the judge LiLo is in compliance with the program, but we know Lindsay has only completed 10 of the required 13 classes.

Anna Nicole’s Panties — Too Dirty for eBay Auction

Several pieces of lingerie — allegedly worn by Anna Nicole Smith — have been pulled down from an Internet auction after eBay decided the unmentionables weren’t clean enough for sale.

As we first reported, Anna’s self-described “best friend” Jackie Hatten went to eBay this week to hawk panties, garter belts, “worn” lingerie tops and bottoms, and other creepy things that used to belong to Smith … like a used make up brush.

A rep from the auction site tell us, “eBay policy strictly prohibits listing used underwear. Used clothing may be listed on eBay as long as it has been cleaned and the listing clearly states that the clothing is used.”

Plus, it’s totally gross.

Justin Bieber has been nominated for a Black Entertainment Television (BET) award.

The 16-year-old singer’s speedy rise to super-stardom, aided by R&B star Usher, has earned him a nod in the Best New Artist category at the upcoming ceremony, because he’s thought of as a “crossover” artist.

Stephen Hill, BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials, said: “Bieber has crossed the colour boundaries the same way that hip-hop has crossed the boundaries the other way for a number of years. He’s had rhythm in his music. He makes the type of music our audience likes.”

The awards – which generally only recognise black entertainers, singers, actors and athletes – will see Justin battle it out against fellow rising stars Nicki Minaj, B.o.B, Young Money and Melanie Fiona.

Rapper Jay-Z has the most nominations with five and will compete with wife Beyonce Knowles for Video of the Year, Best Collaboration and the Viewers’ Choice accolade.

Other nominees include Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Kanye West.

Queen Latifah is set to present the ceremony which will air live on June 27 from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Prosecutor: Lindsay Should Do Time

TMZ has learned the prosecutor in the Lindsay Lohan DUI probation case thinks she’s violated her probation and should be sent to jail.

Sources tell TMZ the prosecutor believes the judge made it clear during the last hearing — either Lindsay proves she’s in full compliance with the terms of probation or she goes to the pokey.

As TMZ first reported, Lindsay has not attended all of her alcohol ed classes — she has been to 10 classes and needs 13 for full compliance.  In addition, Lindsay has not attended all of the classes in 7 day intervals, as the judge required.

An official from the alcohol ed program has sent a report to the judge saying Lindsay is in compliance with the terms of the program.  The report does not address the fact that she has not attended all of the required classes.

We have not spotted Lindsay on U.S. soil in the last few days.  If she doesn’t make it to court … the judge will issue a warrant for her arrest … period.

Battle Brewing at Michael Jackson’s Burial Site

Randy Jackson’s plan to let rabid fans flock to Michael Jackson’s mausoleum is setting up a nasty battle … with the family of another celebrity buried in the extremely private section of Forest Lawn Cemetery.

It’s all over Randy’s tweet, in which he said he was going to do his best to get MJ’s fans “beyond the gates of Forest Lawn” to pay their respects on June 25 — the 1-year anniversary of the singer’s death.

It sounds like Randy is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, because normally non-family members can’t access the mausoleum where MJ and a few other celebs are buried – one of them being Clark Gable.

The legendary actor’s grandson, Clark Gable III, told TMZ he’s not down with Randy’s plan … saying the mausoleum “wouldn’t be as sacred” if just anyone could go inside.

On the flip side, Randy has at least one supporter … author Ronald J. Fields — grandson of W.C. Fields, who’s also buried there — says he thinks fans should be allowed inside because it would be “moving to them.”

Randy did not respond to our calls for comment.

The Jonas Brothers have invited David Beckham’s three sons to appear in their new video.

Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz met the squeaky clean pop stars at a concert in Los Angeles last Saturday (15.05.10) after the boys watched their live show from a balcony with parents David and Victoria.

A source said: “Kevin, Joe and Nick were really pleased to meet the Beckhams and they invited the children to be part of their new video.”

The trio will be filming the clip for the latest single next week in Malibu, and the offer thrilled Cruz and Romeo – though 11-year-old Brooklyn was less impressed.

The sources added to The Sun newspaper: “The younger ones were really excited about it but Brooklyn decided to play it a bit cooler.”

The Jonas Brothers would certainly be a positive influence on the growing Beckham boys – the band famously vowed they would remain virgins until they were married.

David and Victoria are very protective of their boys and have deliberately kept them out of the limelight as much as possible, so it is not yet known if they will let Cruz, five, Romeo, seven, and Brooklyn to appear in the promo.

The Christian band have sold more than eight million albums since they found fame in 2005.

Robert Pattinson “doesn’t understand girls”.

The 24-year-old actor’s ‘Twilight’ co-star Ashley Greene claims the heartthrob – who first found fame playing Cedric Diggory in ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ – is constantly bemused by the attention he receives from women.

She told Seventeen magazine: “He doesn’t understand girls. He gets a lot of attention from them, but he doesn’t quite understand it because before ‘Twilight’, he was just a guy from ‘Harry Potter’.”

Despite his sex symbol status, Ashley has never had a crush on Robert – who is dating his other ‘Twilight’ co-star Kristen Stewart – because they lacked “chemistry”, though she thought about dating the franchise’s Kellan Lutz.

The 23-year-old screen beauty added: “When I met Rob, I didn’t think twice about him. He’s really attractive, but that chemistry wasn’t there.

“Have I hooked up with Kellan? I’ve definitely thought about it. But he’s one of my best friends, but if we were going to be romantic, we would have done it years ago. I like having him to talk to about other guys to get that male perspective. I really cherish our relationship, so I wouldn’t want to mess that up by dating.”

Meanwhile, Robert claims he has cut off his long locks because he had head lice.

Lindsay Lohan — High Marks from Alcohol Ed

Lindsay Lohan is in compliance with her alcohol ed course — this according to a letter sent by program officials to the judge in Lindsay’s DUI probation case.

According to the letter from Right On Programs — filed with the court and obtained by TMZ — Lindsay “attends regularly and consistently.”  And, program officials say, “Her attitude is positive and receptive to ideas regarding lifestyle changes.”

The program wrote the letter, despite the fact that Lindsay has only attended 10 of the required 13 classes.  And the program makes no mention of the lifestyle choices Lindsay has made over the last few months that have been captured by countless cameras.

According to the letter, “She has never come [to class] under the influence, been rude or disrespectful.”

The letter notes Lindsay “attends regularly and consistently communicates in a timely manner to reschedule if necessary.”  The program concludes, “At this time, Lindsay is in program compliance.”

According to supporting docs, Lindsay had a few weeks where she did not attend, but the program says the lapses were approved, once so she could go to a Haiti fundraiser in NYC and another time so she could go to Europe to promote her clothing line.

The program is not required to notify the judge unless Lindsay misses 21 consecutive days.  The judge, however, ordered Lindsay to attend class at least once every 7 days, but apparently that was not communicated to the program.

As TMZ first report, at Thursday’s hearing the judge will be told that Lindsay has — as of now — attended only 10 of the 13 classes and she did not attend all of them within the 7 day intervals.  Lindsay, however, has a good argument on the 7-day requirement if the program let her slide from time to time.  As for not completing the 13 classes — it’s all up to the judge.

Because Lindsay is not in full compliance, the judge has ordered her to attend Thursday’s court session.

Phoenix Suns Star Witnesses Mother’s Arrest

Phoenix Suns superstar Amar’e Stoudemire had more on his mind than basketball during last night’s playoff game against the Los Angeles Lakers — he watched his mother get arrested this weekend.

TMZ has learned the 6′10″ NBA star was named in a police report involving an incident with his mother, Carrie Mae Stoudemire, that took place Saturday afternoon.

According to the report, police in Scottsdale, Arizona pulled Carrie over for allegedly driving erratically — and eventually placed her in handcuffs for refusing to take a field sobriety test.  But soon after the stop, another car — a Bentley — arrived to the scene.

Two incredibly tall men emerged from the car — and a responding officer claims he recognized one of them as Amar’e.  According to the report, Carrie began kicking the patrol car and yelling for Amar’e to “get a lawyer.”

The officer claims he then asked Amar’e and his friend to leave the scene because they were causing Carrie to “act out.” According to the report, Amar’e immediately complied with the officer’s request.

Carrie — who has a long history of alcohol abuse — was eventually booked for speeding, failure to drive in a single lane and operating a vehicle without a court-ordered breathalyzer ignition interlock device.

Strange Life Insurance Request in ‘Survivor’ Murder

A nanny who worked for the former ‘Survivor‘ producer and his murdered wife claims there was ominous talk about a life insurance policy just before they took the fateful trip to Mexico.

In a declaration filed with the court, Maria Oaxaca claims just before the trip, Monica Burgos Beresford-Redman told her that her husband Bruce asked her to take out a life insurance policy.

The declaration makes it clear … the policy was for life insurance in the event of Monica’s death and the apparent beneficiaries were the couple’s two children.

According to the declaration, “She [Monica] thought it was strange since they had never taken out insurance policies before any of their other trips and said that it made her feel like her life was a soap opera.”

The nanny’s declaration was submitted in support of a motion by Monica’s two sisters to become guardians of the children.  The two sisters are opposing the move by Bruce’s parents to become permanent guardians.

Michael Lohan to Crash LiLo’s Court Hearing

Michael Lohan is finally going to get inside the same room as his daughter this week — TMZ has learned he plans on attending Lindsay’s upcoming DUI hearing in person.

But Mike isn’t just going to L.A. County Superior Court as a spectator, LiLo’s dad tells TMZ he’s going to ask the judge for permission to address the court in his daughter’s case.

We’re told if he’s granted permission to speak in open court, Michael will beg the judge to spare Lindsay a jail sentence … and instead, order her into a rehab center for drug and alcohol addiction.

There’s no guarantee that Michael will be allowed to even open his mouth — it all depends on the judge’s mood.

We’ll see how Michael’s plan works out during the hearing on Thursday.

Stephen Gately’s husband signed a contract promising to love the late pop star forever.

Andrew Cowles is still coming to terms with the loss of the Boyzone singer – who died of natural causes in October last year whilst holidaying with his spouse in Majorca – because they were “meant to be” together until they were old men.

He said: “We were meant to grow old together. He made me promise, he made me email him a contract five years ago that I would love him when he was old and I was actually looking forward to sitting in the bay water’s edge, holding hands and drinking coffee like two podgy old men, so I do feel cheated that I’m not going to get that opportunity.”

Stephen and Andrew united at a commitment ceremony in Las Vegas in 2003 and wed at a star-studded civil partnership ceremony in London in March 2006.

Although Andrew misses the pop star terribly, he doesn’t have any regrets about their romance because Stephen “touched his life dramatically”.

He added in an interview with Britain’s OK! magazine: “Stephen was an angel who was sent here for a while. He was a very special boy, he overcame his demons and when he’d found his peace, he moved on. He touched my life dramatically and I’m pleased to have had him in my life, even though it has caused me so much pain. I miss him dreadfully but I’d never miss out on any of it.”

Axl Rose: Guns N’ Roses Was ‘Sabotaged’

Axl Rose claims music giant Irving Azoff concocted a diabolical plot to destroy Guns N’ Roses … TMZ has learned.

Rose just filed a countersuit against Azoff — his former manager — claiming Azoff tried to strong-arm Rose into a reunion tour with the original members of GNR.   When Rose nixed the idea on the heels of the Chinese Democracy tour last year, Azoff did everything he could to screw Axl …so he claims.

Among other things, Rose claims Azoff tried “devising and implementing a secret plan to set up Rose and the band for failure so that Rose would have no choice but to reunite with the original Guns N’ Roses’ members.”

Rose believes Azoff was so vicious he even used Axl’s childhood name — something that carries heavy emotional baggage — when he filed the initial lawsuit for commissions.  Rose says the name William Bailey “carries significant emotional damage from Rose’s childhood” and that Azoff knew it because of numerous personal and confidential conversations.

Rose is countersuing for $5 mil minimum.

Octomom to Dogs and Cats: Don’t Go Where I Went

Octomom Nadya Suleman — aka the pot — wants dogs and cats — aka the kettles — to refrain from having litters.

Octo has agreed to display a banner around her La Habra home for PETA, with the warning:  “Don’t Let Your Dog or Cat Become an Octomom.”

In return, Octo gets $5 grand and a month’s supply of veggie dogs and burgers.

We’ll live stream the unveiling tomorrow at 11 AM PT … ’cause you never know who’s gonna drop another litter in La Habra.

Hulk Hogan — My Heart Isn’t Broken

Hulk Hogan had a big medical scare this week — after doctors thought they may have found an abnormality with the wrestler’s heart.

Hogan was undergoing tests for back surgery, when doctors discovered a problem with his EKG.

Sources close to Hulk tell us the back doc sent Hulk to a specialist at a cardiovascular medical center in Florida for further testing.

But this story has a happy ending — we’re told doctors ran more extensive tests and were able to determine that Hulk’s ticker is working just fine … though we’re told Hulk was “very worried” during the process.

And with his heart all hunky dory, Hulk is scheduled to undergo back surgery soon.

Megan Fox can survive a week without food.

The ‘Transformers’ actress – who is engaged to Brian Austin Green – claims her culinary skills are so bad, she would rather “starve to death” than attempt to make herself a meal.

She said: “I’ll starve to death before I’ll cook for myself. I think I could survive a week without eating.”

As well as claiming she can cope without food, Megan also insisted she wouldn’t mind going for lengthy periods of time without any human contact as she prefers her own company.

She said: “I could go days, weeks, without talking to another human being. I hate receiving compliments; I hate being told I’m talented or people think I’m going to be a movie star. I always feel that it’s forced and fake.”

The 24-year-old star also claimed she suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), which prevents her from using cutlery in restaurants or using public toilets.

She explained in an interview with Allure magazine: “This is a sickness, I have an illness – this is not OK anymore.

“Every time someone uses a bathroom and they flush, all the bacteria is shot into the air.

“Putting my mouth where a million other mouths have been, just knowing all the bacteria that you carry in your mouth? Ucch!”

Robert Pattinson celebrated his birthday at a luxury Californian hotel.

The ‘Twilight’ actor – who turned 24 on May 13 – spent last weekend at the Ritz-Cartlon in Laguna Beach with girlfriend Kristen Stewart, where they dined at the Raya restaurant before taking a midnight stroll on the beach.

A source told Hollywood Life.com: “They were making small talk, not chatting a lot, but seemed very comfortable with one another. They were low-key and not bugged by other guests, left to their own devices.”

According to other hotel guests, the pair – who sat next to each other so they could both enjoy the ocean view – dressed casually in jeans and T-shirts, with the British star drinking beer with his meal.

Another source said: “You could tell they were a couple. They kept to themselves and looked like normal kids their age. They didn’t stand out at all. They were dressed very casual – Robert with a baseball cap, jeans and sneakers, and Kristen was casual as well. Rob’s hair was cut really short!”
