‘Dancing’ Star Pulled Over — You Move Too Fast!

“Dancing with the Stars” pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy tangoed with the law last night after partying in West Hollywood.

Our TMZ camera rolled as Maksim left STK after a dinner with his partner Erin Andrews — got into his Mercedes — and punched it down La Cienega … burning rubber as he left the restaurant.

Seconds later, Maksim was staring at red and blue lights in his rear view from an L.A. County Sheriff car who pulled his butt over.

Maksim stopped … and had a little chit chat with the cop … who apparently let the dancer waltz off without a ticket.

Mindy McCready — My Mom Overreacted

Mindy McCready’s rep tells TMZ the singer did not OD on drugs — she just had a bad reaction to a painkiller and her mom “overreacted.”

Brent Young, Mindy’s rep, tells us she broke her toe 2 days ago and has been complaining about the pain.

We’re told Mindy’s mom gave her four Darvocet pills this morning.  Darvocet is a narcotic painkiller.

Young says Mindy told her mom that she wasn’t feeling well — possibly from a bad reaction to the Darvocet — and her mom “overreacted” and called 911.

McCready and her mom have been fighting over custody of Mindy’s son.  Young says McCready’s mom may have simply been trying to make her custody argument stronger by calling the paramedics.

Young says he just spoke with Mindy, saying, “She’s totally coherent.  She can’t believe her mom did this.”

Young says, Mindy wants him to call Dr. Drew to say she hasn’t fallen off the wagon.

David Hasselhoff: I Wasn’t Hospitalized for Boozing!

David Hasselhoff is positively certain he wasn’t hospitalized for alcohol poisoning this weekend — and to prove it, dude just entered the most physically grueling workout class in L.A.

Despite reports that his 17-year-old daughter Hayley took Hoff to the hospital on Sunday following a three-day bender, Hoff hit up Barry’s Bootcamp this morning with his other daughter — where the “Baywatch” star told us there’s been “no drinking” and he’s “looking good, feeling good.”

As for the report, Hoff claims he never went to the hospital — and both he and daughter Taylor say they “have no idea what’s going on.”

Oh, and trust us — you can’t make it through Barry’s Bootcamp if you’ve been drinking.

Jesse James claims Sandra Bullock was “proud” of him when he went to rehab.

The motorcycle entrepreneur – who underwent treatment for rumoured sex addiction after it emerged he had cheated on his wife – admits he confessed “everything” about his infidelities, after previously telling a string of lies to cover his tracks.

He said: “I told her basically everything, that I had affairs outside of our marriage… I think she had her suspicions but I lied my way out of it. I lied to everyone, even myself.

“I told her I was going to get help and she told me she was proud of me.”

Jesse also spoke of his heartbreak at seeing Sandra with four-month-old adopted son Louis Bardo – who she cares for as a single parent following their marriage split – but admits he understands why he had to be excluded from the legal process.

He added in a forthcoming interview on US TV show ‘Nightline’: “The photographs of them made me sad. But I realise why things had to be done in a certain way.

“To see her in the role as mother is, like, one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. She is like a fish to water… as soon as she put that baby into her hands, it was automatic and amazing.”

Claudia Schiffer has named her baby Cosima Violet Vaughn Drummond.

The German supermodel gave birth to her new daughter on May 14 at London’s Portland Hospital and now she and her film producer husband Matthew Vaughn have decided on a moniker for their new arrival.

Claudia’s publicist told Welt Online: “Her name is Cosima Violet Vaughn Drummond. Both mother and child are fine.”

Claudia and Cosima have now left hospital and are back at home.

The couple – who have two other children, seven-year-old son Caspar and five-year-old daughter Clementine – wanted to wait until “the whole family met the newborn” before they announced her name to the world.

Cosima is an Italian name derived from the Greek word kosmos which means “order or decency”. In the 2007 book ‘The Baby Names Bible’, written by Pamela Redmond Satran and Linda Rosenkrantz, it was described as a fashionable name for the daughters of members of high society in the UK.

Although she lives in England, Claudia recently revealed she wants to spend some time in her native Germany with her family when Matthew is working on the new ‘X-Men’ movie.

The catwalk beauty – who married Matthew in 2002 – said: “I would like to move to Berlin with Matthew and the kids for a few months. If we’re lucky he’ll be shooting some of ‘X-Men’ in Berlin. I would love that. Berlin is like being abroad in Germany. It’s German, but not provincial. Everyone loves it. My friends often tell me how very German I still am.”

The Twilight hunk admires Daniel Radcliffe’s acting skills and has labelled him as “a great actor”.

Rob told CBS, “I love the mix of stuff he has done in his career, always pushing the boundaries and stuff like that. I also envy his stints on stage – he is a great actor.”

It seems that the 24-year-old star also wants to have a go on the Broadway stage. He explained, “Stage work is something that I want to do as soon as I get a window.”

Last year Radcliffe admitted “Rob Pattinson is a genuine sexy guy. He’s got the height.”

They both appeared in ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ when Daniel was more famous than Pattinson.

Lindsay Lohan’s Movie Excuse — Total BS

Lindsay Lohan made it clear to the court that she didn’t wanna wear a SCRAM bracelet because she thought it would get in the way of an upcoming movie shoot in Texas — problem is, no such shoot exists.

TMZ has contacted the producers of the only two motion picture projects Lindsay is currently attached to — “Machete” and “Inferno” — and they both made it very clear that LiLo has no business in Texas.

A rep for “Machete” tells us there ARE additional scenes being shot in Texas but, “according to the director, they don’t include [Lindsay].”

As for “Inferno,” a rep tells us, “The Linda Lovelace biopic doesn’t plan on starting shooting ’till the beginning of August.”  Also, it’s not being shot in Texas — so the SCRAM bracelet would have no affect on that film either.

Lindsay’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, relayed Lohan’s excuse to Judge Marsha Revel on Monday — but the judge didn’t buy it anyway … and forced her to SCRAM it up.

Lindsay’s Dad — She Shouldn’t Quit Cold Turkey

Lindsay Lohan’s father believes that forcing Lindsay to cut herself off from drugs and alcohol ASAP is a bad thing — and he’s getting support from an expert.

Michael Lohan tells TMZ he thinks Lindsay has a problem with prescription pills, but he “doesn’t think it’s a good idea for her to detox on her own.” He feels Lindsay would be best served by “being under a doctor’s care.”

And according to addiction recovery specialist Marc Kern — Michael’s logic ain’t too far off.

Kern tells us if — and only if — Lindsay has a drug problem, “There probably should have been an assessment of her reliance and dependency of substances before they took her off of everything. That would have been a safer method.”

Of course, this all assumes that Lindsay actually has a drug problem.

Nas & Kelis — Officially Divorced!

After an eternity of legal war, the marriage between rapper Nas and singer Kelis is officially kaput.

TMZ obtained legal docs, filed last Friday in L.A. County Superior Court, which show that the marriage has been terminated — but there are still a few more nasty battles to fight … like child custody and spousal support.

Currently, Nas is ordered to fork over roughly 10k a month for child and spousal support — which he claims he can’t afford.

So, the next round should be all sorts of fun.

Simon Monjack delayed having heart surgery as he grieved for Brittany Murphy.

The scriptwriter – who died suddenly on Sunday (23.05.10) aged 39, just five months after his actress wife passed away last December aged just 32 – is believed to have been trying to put off a bypass operation for his condition until after a planned charity event in September for the Brittany Murphy Foundation.

His publicist Roger Neal said: “I can tell you he was excited about what the future held in terms of the legacy of Brittany Murphy. He looked fine to me.

“As far as we know he passed away of natural causes. He did have a heart condition and he was due for bypass heart surgery.”

The writer was found unconscious at the home he shared with the late ‘Clueless’ star by her mother Sharon Murphy – who also discovered Brittany’s body in the shower of the home.

Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter has previously revealed prescription drugs were found near Monjack’s body, although he has refused to give any further details.

Sharon is “devastated” to lose her son-in-law.

Roger said: “It is a very sad day for Ms. Murphy. She’s devastated. She’s a very strong woman. I don’t know how you handle something like that. She is resting. Sharon loved Simon as a son. They were a very close family.”

At the time of his passing, Simon had been setting up a charity to pay for dance and singing lessons for youngsters who can’t afford private tuition.

Roger added: “He and Sharon we both very involved in a foundation being set up to help children. He was getting ready for a whole lot of things that were very positive and very incredible… Just talking with him and Sharon, the expressions on their face, they were still sad over the loss of Brittany, which is to be expected, but he was very focused about what they were doing with this formation of the foundation and the gala and things like that.

“Brittany’s dream, as was Simon’s, was to help children who want to learn to do ballet, sing, etcetera, who couldn’t afford it. The foundation would raise money for it.”

The official cause of Monjack’s death is still to be determined. An autopsy and toxicology testing should take place in the next few days.

The Boyzone singer – who separated from his wife Yvonne last week following revelations of an affair with backing dancer Francine Cornell – was told to leave his £2.5 million home north of Dublin, Ireland, after he flew in from Switzerland, where he had been performing solo shows.

A source close to the Irish star told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Ronan is praying the separation is only that and doesn’t translate into a divorce. He is desperate to make amends.”

He is also said to have dismissed suggestions Francine was anything more than a casual relationship.

According to the Daily Star newspaper, he told friends: “She meant nothing – it was just a fling and a mistake.

“It’s cost me the thing most dear to me in the world. I’ve wrecked everything. I just hope it’s not too late.”

Meanwhile, Yvonne is said to be considering forgiving her cheating husband, but is going to make him sweat until Christmas time.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “It will take up to six months but they’ll get there. She will not tolerate any more nonsense now and he will have to earn her trust all over again.

“It will be on her terms and she is likely to ask him to cut down on his hectic workload and devote more time to his family.”

Ronan, 33, has now taken the couple’s three children, Jack, 11, Marie, nine, and Ali, four, on a trip to the exclusive K Club in County Kildare, Ireland, where he was spotted playing golf flanked by minders.

‘Survivor’ Producer — Passport Still in Mexico

Nobody stamped Bruce Beresford-Redman’s passport when the “Survivor” producer secretly returned to the United States this weekend — because the passport is still in Mexico.

According to Beresford-Redman’s attorney in Mexico, Raul F. Cardenas Rioseco, the former “Survivor” producer’s passport is still in possession of Mexican officials, who seized it after they questioned Bruce about the murder of his wife, Monica.

According to Rioseco, Beresford-Redman didn’t need permission to leave Mexico, because “he hasn’t been charged with anything.”

Rioseco tells us he plans on “soliciting” the passport — as soon as Bruce pays for services rendered.

As for how Bruce crossed the border without a passport … still a mystery.

Jesse James’ Ex — I Want My Daughter Back

Jesse James‘ porn star ex-wife has decided she wants to regain custody of their 6-year-old daughter – but she can’t afford to pay the legal costs to get the little girl back.

The woman making the claim is Janine Lindemulder — who lost custody of her daughter Sunny James to Jesse while she was serving a 6 month prison stint in 2009 for tax evasion.

Lindemulder is now a free woman and claims she’s ready to get 50-50 custody back — but she’s too broke to pay a lawyer to handle the case. So, she’s filed documents in Orange County, CA asking a judge to make Jesse spot her a cool $5,000 for legal fees.

But according to the docs, Janine doesn’t think Jesse’s gonna play ball — and expects him to fight her request for 50-50 custody.

The sister of Monica Burgos Beresford-Redman tells TMZ she will fight Bruce Beresford-Redman for custody.

Carla Ferreira-Burgos tells TMZ, “I don’t think someone suspected of killing their mother should be in charge of the kids.”

As we first reported, the former “Survivor” producer is back in L.A. and will seek to regain custody of his two kids, even though he’s still considered a “person of interest” in the murder of his wife.

Simon Monjack — Possible OD

Law enforcement sources tells TMZ there are signs Simon Monjack may have died from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

One well-placed source says, “There were a number of pill bottles on the nightstand in the bedroom, and some were empty.”

There is, obviously, an eerie similarity to the death of Monjack’s wife, Brittany Murphy, just 5 months ago.  In her case an array of prescription drugs were found on the nightstand of the same bedroom where Monjack died.  Many of the drugs on Simon’s nightstand were the same as the ones found after Brittany died.

One law enforcement source says the two causes of death that seem most plausible at the moment are “natural” and “accidental drug overdose.”

Monjack told TMZ recently he had suffered a heart attack during the incident last November when he had a medical emergency aboard an airplane.

Brittany’s mother, Sharon Murphy, discovered Monjack’s body last night.  She is also the one who found her daughter, Brittany, unconscious and on the floor of the bathroom 5 months earlier.

‘Survivor’ Producer Still ‘Person of Interest’

The former ‘Survivor‘ producer who is again ensconced in L.A. is still “a person of interest” in his wife’s murder … Mexican law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

An official involved in the investigation of Monica Burgos Beresford-Redman tells TMZ, “Of course he is still a person of interest to officials in this case.”

TMZ broke the story that Bruce Beresford-Redman came back to L.A. — but it is unclear if he came back with a passport.

Mexican authorities had previously told Beresford-Redman not to leave the country pending the investigation — it is unclear if he obtained permission before leaving.

Kendra Wilkinson’s sex tape is beating sales of Kim Kardashian’s rival X-rated movie.

The former Playboy model’s explicit video – which shows her having sex aged 18 with her boyfriend Justin Frye – has become a hit before it has even been released, with pre-order figures completely overshadowing the raunchy film sold by the model-and-party girl.

Both videos have been released through pornographic video company Vivid Entertainment.

Justin was paid $100,000 for the footage, while Kendra is to receive up to 50 per cent of the profits made from sales of the tape.

The blonde beauty initially tried to block the release of the recording when news of it first emerged, but after realising the earning potential of the DVD, which will be titled ‘Kendra Exposed‘, she decided to enter negotiations with Vivid Entertainment.

The 24-year-old star – who is married to American footballer Hank Basket and has a five-month-old son Hank Baskett IV with him – started dating Justin in high school, but split from him shortly before she embarked on a relationship with Hugh Hefner and moved into the Playboy Mansion.

Ronan Keating’s lover was “indiscreet” about their affair.

The Boyzone singer’s relationship with backing dancer Francine Cornell had reportedly become an “open secret” and she had told her friends about the romance.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Francine had become quite indiscreet. She told more than one friend this year she couldn’t date other men as she was with Ronan.

“It was as if she wanted people to know. By that time they’d been having an affair for months – it had become an open secret in the dancing community.”

Francine even dumped her previous boyfriend Nick Robbins in October 2009 when things began to get more intense with Ronan.

Nick’s dad Royston told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I think they’d discussed marriage. She moved into his Chelsea flat and was really pleased when she began working for Ronan.

“Nick told me she was already receiving texts from Ronan. Next thing I heard, she’d told Nick that she wanted to end things.”

Meanwhile, Ronan kept a low-profile between performances in Switzerland over the weekend.

A backing dancer for the ‘Life is a Rollercoaster’ singer said: “We’ve hardly seen him and he’s hardly said a word.

“As soon as he came off stage on Saturday (22.05.10) he just said, ‘God, that was tough – I just want to go home.’ ”

The 33-year-old singer – who has three children, Jack, 11, Marine, nine and Ali, four, with his model wife – is now heading back to Dublin to try and reconcile with Yvonne, who threw him out of the family home last week following the affair revelations.

A friend said: “He’s in bits – embarrassed and ashamed. He’s saying he’ll do whatever it takes to get Yvonne back. He’ll beg on his knees.”

However, a pal of Yvonne’s said she is unlikely to give into him easily.

The source said: “She isn’t going to crumble on this. They had a pact never to cheat. Ronan really has little hope of saving the marriage.”

Lindsay Lohan — Scared Stiff

Sources tell TMZ … Lindsay Lohan is “freaked out” over her court appearance today … and possibly with good reason — she has a big problem in the alcohol education department.

Lindsay was required to complete 13 alcohol ed classes by last Thursday’s court hearing. As TMZ first reported, she has only completed 10. We’re told Lindsay wanted to make up at least one class on Sunday but the school could not accommodate her.

So Lindsay will appear before an unsympathetic judge still three classes shy, and Judge Marsha Revel has already made it clear … she was expecting full compliance.

People who interacted with Lindsay over the weekend say she is really scared about today’s hearing.  LiLo knows the judge will probably prohibit her from drinking or doing drugs … and that may just be too tall an order.

It’s the first time, one source says, Lindsay seems to get how much trouble she’s in.

Brittany Murphy’s widower has been found dead.

Simon Monjack – who was left devastated when his actress wife died last December aged just 32 – was discovered unconscious by Brittany’s mother Sharon at his Los Angeles home last night (23.05.10) at around 9.30pm.

She immediately dialled 911 but Simon, 39, was pronounced dead by paramedics after attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

It is believed he suffered a heart attack and his passing is being treated by Los Angeles police as unexplained.

A death investigation is now underway, according to website TMZ.

Following Brittany’s death on December 20, the British screenwriter – who was left out of her will – had spoken out about their life together saying they were planning to start a family.

He said: “She knew her career wasn’t in the best place. She was ready to kind of be a mother and that was what a lot of the talk was about.

“We were discussing children the night before she passed. We were discussing baby names. A boy would have been Oliver and a girl would have been Sophie. That was the plan, to move to New York and to start a family.”

He also revealed how he felt “vindicated” by her autopsy report after the enquiry into her death showed she had no history of drug abuse.

He said: “Although Brittany’s autopsy report was incredibly shocking and sad to the family – her mother Sharon Murphy and I both shed tears – we are vindicated in that we always said Brittany never did any kind of illegal substances and that the medication she was taking was the medication found in her system. We hope now that people will understand the legacy of Brittany Murphy and the incredible body of work of Brittany Murphy.

“I am so sad that we are living in a culture of rumour and I just wish that people would understand that sometimes out of every tragedy can come some good”

Cheryl Cole says her mother is her biggest role model.

The 26-year-old pop star insists her mother Joan Callaghan inspired her to be a better person because she has such a positive outlook on life.

Cheryl – who moved Joan into her marital home while she was still living with her now estranged husband Ashley Cole – said: My mum’s a great person. When I was growing up, she was never somebody who commented on other women. You know you hear women commenting on other women in a mean way? My mother was never like that. Everybody is lovely in her eyes.”

The Girls Aloud singer accepts she is now a role model to thousands of women, but it is something she is comfortable with and proud of.

She added in an interview with Style magazine: “If you could just give me one word to be, ‘inspirational’ would be the one. I want to inspire women to make the best of themselves. Like, one woman, said to me, ‘I’ve got you on my fridge door to inspire me to go to the gym,’ and I felt like that about Britney Spears when she did ‘I’m a Slave 4 You’. So to think that I can be inspiring someone like that – or in any kind of way – is great.”

Bret Michaels — Precautions for ‘Apprentice’ Finale

Getting fired isn’t the only concern for Bret Michaels on tonight’s “Celebrity Apprentice” finale  — and TMZ has learned medical precautions will be taken due to Bret’s condition.

A source close to the show tells us there will definitely be a medical staff at the live taping tonight … “ready in case anything happens.” Michaels suffered a brain hemorrhage on April 22 and was briefly hospitalized for heart problems last week.

We’re told Bret is in NY and will be at rehearsals today for tonight’s show.

Reps for Bret had no comment.
