Despite multiple reports to the contrary … Britney Spears‘ father has not given her a bra ultimatum — in fact, we’re told he laughed when he heard the story.

As the tale goes, Jamie Spears was embarrassed by pics of Brit Brit showing off her nip nips, so he imposed a “must wear a bra” rule on his famous conservatee. But sources close to the family tell us there is no such rule in place, nor has there even been any thought of one.

We’re told Jamie’s feeling is this … you can’t make any 28-year-old woman wear a bra if she doesn’t want to … especially Britney.

Control her finances? Yes. Her undergarments? No.

Ronan Keating’s hobbit ambition

Boyzone singer Ronan Keating has revealed he recently auditioned for a role in upcoming fantasy movie ‘The Hobbit’.

He said: “I don’t think I’ll get the role of the hobbit. But I would like to take on roles which nobody would expect. I don’t want to be reduced to love stories. I’d like to try dark, edgy roles. I need a challenge.”
Ronan – who has three children, Jack, 11, Marie, nine, and four-year-old Ali, with his model wife Yvonne – is even considering leaving his native Ireland to live in Los Angeles to pursue his big screen dream.
He added: “If it goes well with the movies we might be there more often. So far I planned to go there for holidays with my family in summer. But we return in September and the kids go back to school in Ireland. But we’ll see.”
Although he is ambitious to break into acting, Ronan has no plans to quit music and is loving working with Boyzone again, who were rocked last October when member Stephen Gately died suddenly.
Ronan told website freundin.de: “My future definitely lies in the music business. I will continue to work as a solo artist. But I‘m now in a situation where I can take a break from my solo career. I don’t want to eliminate that possibility but currently Boyzone is my priority. I just love to work with the guys.”

Charlie Sheen’s marriage to Brooke Mueller is on life support, but Brooke has not decided to move out of the house or end the marriage … at least not yet.

“Brooke is absolutely frickin’ ballistic that he is seeing this hooker while she is working on the marriage,” a source very, very close to the situation tells TMZ.

Photos surfaced last week of Charlie wearing a disguise and allegedly leaving a high-end hooker’s apartment, something Charlie’s rep denies.

Several magazines are reporting that Brooke has moved out of the house and the couple is splitting, but we’re told that hasn’t happened. One source says, “Brooke’s stuff is still at the house.  She spent the last two days living at a spa, but she hasn’t moved out and she hasn’t split with Charlie.”

The source adds, “She’s absolutely crazed that her children’s father would shave his head, put on a disguise, wearing pajama bottoms and come out of a hooker’s house so that some day his children will see this.”

Brooke is telling people, “I’ve had it” — but we’re told she had not decided to leave Charlie. They are still talking and texting multiple times a day.

Ambre Lake, the Season 2 winner of “Rock of Love,” tells TMZ she’s spoken with people who are close to Bret who say he’s stabilized and conscious.

Lake’s tale matches another contestant who has also spoken with Bret’s bandmates.

We’re told the next 24 to 48 hours are critical — Bret will be closely monitored.

Randy Quaid claims the man he trusted as his business manger and lawyer betrayed him by engaging in “gossip mongering.”

Quaid and wife Evi filed a lawsuit — obtained by TMZ — in which the couple claims they hired Lloyd Braun, who runs an entertainment website that has run stories on the Quaids.

According to the suit, Braun, an attorney, sealed numerous business deals for Randy and became a close friend of the family.

The suit claims Braun — in his position at the website — inappropriately capitalized on his relationship with the Quaids for his own financial benefit by posting photos and information about the couple.

The Quaids are in the middle of a criminal mess after allegedly skipping out on a $10,000 bill at a resort near Santa Barbara.

The Quaids allege Braun also refuses to fully account for the profits from various films and other business deals Braun negotiated on their behalf.

We left messages for Braun. So far, no word.

TMZ has learned Pamela Bach just got the book thrown at her … she’ll be spending 90 days in jail.

Bach — whose divorce with David Hasselhoff is epic — was just sentenced for a DUI she got in November.  The judge sentenced her to 30 days in jail.

But Bach was on probation for a previous DUI.  Because the November DUI constituted a probation violation, Bach was sentenced to an additional 60 days.

We’re told Bach will surrender and begin serving her 90-day sentence on May 3.

The former “Survivor” producer — Bruce Beresford-Redman –  suspected of killing his wife may now lose custody of his kids, because his parents have now made their move to get permanent guardianship … TMZ has learned.

David and Juanita Beresford-Redman – who now have temporary guardianship — filed legal docs in L.A. County Superior Court asking to make them guardians of the two children permanent.  They say Bruce wants it that way.

David and Juanita — who filed papers without a lawyer — say they are retired and in good heath, they’ve had a relationship with Alec and Camilia since birth, and are “able to devote ourselves to the care and nurture of our grandchildren.”

David and Juanita say, “We are both well-educated, each with a masters degree … we will be able to address questions that arise from our grandchildren…”

Those questions will surely include the murder of their mother, Monica, in Mexico.  Bruce was detained but released and ordered to stay in the country pending the outcome of the investigation.

David and Juanita say their son is “assisting the Mexican authorities in matters concerning the murder.”

A former “Big Brother” houseguest was arrested this weekend after allegedly unleashing a ferocious attack on his pregnant girlfriend.

According to the Boston PD, cops responded to the home of Matt McDonald — who appeared on BB Season 9 — after receiving a domestic violence call from someone inside the apartment.

Cops say Matt’s GF — who was 7 weeks pregnant — told them the two began arguing after the reality star accused her of cheating on him … and that’s when things got violent.

According to the police report, Matt’s GF told cops he began strangling her and yelling, “I hope the baby dies and hope u [sic] have a miscarriage.”

The GF claims the next day, Matt accused her of pouring water in his plasma TV — and then proceeded to kick her in the collarbone, put her in a headlock .. and began punching her in the arms.

The GF claims she yelled for her father, who was also in the house, when Matt screamed, “shut the f*ck up or I’ll punch you in the face.” She also claims Matt threatened to kill her father if he called cops.

According to the police report, officers observed visible bruising on the GF’s arms, neck and  collarbone — and proceeded to arrest McDonald. According to the police report, McDonald told cops that she attacked him — and he was simply defending himself.

McDonald was charged with assault and battery — and assault and battery upon a pregnant person. He’s due back in court next month.

Charlie Sheen doesn’t appear worried about his future on “Two and a Half Men” — he does, however, seem deeply concerned about bladder issues.

A week after Charlie boy unveiled his bald head, he was spotted in a Los Angeles area CVS last night  — pining over adult underwear and flipping through a tabloid magazine with him on the cover.

He bought some aspirin and a pack of razor blades. The adult diapers remained on the shelf.

Lindsay Lohan — Lose a Rolex, Take a Rolex?

Lindsay Lohan is both a Rolex victim and a suspected Rolex thief … and the pictures below could prove both.

TMZ broke the story that Lindsay is a suspect in the disappearance of a $35,000 Rolex.  Law enforcement sources tell us they have a photo of the Rolex Lindsay is accused of stealing.  We did some digging and came up with the photo on the left, taken April 14, showing Lindsay sporting a Rolex … very possibly the same one a friend accidentally left at her house and is now at the center of the investigation.

Now take a look at the Rolex on the right.  That Rolex was stolen from Lindsay last year — allegedly by The Burglar Bunch.

The two Rolexes are similar but not identical.

As for the current investigation, Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, denies the allegation against her client.

Survivor ‘Villain’ Arrested for Battery

One of the stars on “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” was arrested in Louisiana early this morning after cops say he attacked somebody at a street festival.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Russell Hantz — the runner-up from “Survivor: Samoa” — was partying at the Festival International de Louisiane, when he allegedly “shoved” somebody to the pavement.

Cops say Hantz was immediately arrested by Lafayette City Police — and taken to a nearby jail.

Hantz was eventually released.

But get this, Hantz is still in contention to win “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains” — which is airing now on CBS … and yes, he’s one of the “villains.

Lindsay Lohan has branded her father a “pathological liar”.

The actress says her dad Michael’s allegations she is addicted to prescription drugs are completely false and she is struggling to come to terms with his attempted intervention at her Hollywood apartment yesterday (22.04.10).

She tweeted: “pathological liar – a person who lies to the point of it being considered a disease or condition, an abnormally habitual liar = MY FATHER. (sic)”

Lindsay also took to her twitter page to praise her mother Dina for always being there for her and her siblings, Ali, 16, Michael Douglas, 22, and Dakota, 13.

She added in series of posts: “my mother is AMAZING! not ANYTHING like what Michael is saying. W/out her, i wouldn’t of been able to follow my dreams and be as strong as i am today. (sic)”

She also publicly told Michael – who went to the home Lindsay shares with her sister Ali with police officers – she does not want him in her life.

She wrote: “attention on his part&a public display of “reaching out” when we have stated that he is NOT a part of our lives, nor has he been for a while. as for our well being- he’s never cared about that before, nor does he now-never paid child support..10months now… (sic)”

Britney Spears’ father has banned his daughter from going out without a bra.

The ‘3′ singer – who is still under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears following her widely-publicised breakdown in 2007 – has been warned she needs to improve her public image which is why he has imposed the bra rule and threatened to sack any member of her security who lets her slip out without underwear on.

A friend said: “Jamie’s control over Britney’s life is incredible. He hates the pictures of her with her nipples all over the place so he has banned her from leaving the house without a bra. He wants her to put across the right impression. One security guard is told he is close to getting fired because he lets her go out without her bra.”

The 57-year-old patriarch – who has control of the singer’s finances – has also been deemed responsible for the end of the pop star’s relationship with 38-year-old talent agent Jason Trawick, who she split with at the end of February.

The friend added to The Sun newspaper: “It was also Jamie who made her split with Jason. He likes Jason but their relationship was too intense and volatile. He feared it was sending her back to her old ways. He warned her, ‘It’s Jason or your children.’ ” Britney, 28, has two sons, Sean Preston, four, and three-year-old Jayden James, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Cheryl Cole’s wealth has grown by 150 per cent in the last year.

The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer – who is the face of L’Oreal Elvive hair-care range and Coca Cola Zero – came fourth in the Young Music Millionaires aged 30 and under list with earnings of £10 million.

She was beaten to the top spot by Charlotte Church, Katherine Jenkins and Leona Lewis, who are all worth £11 million.

Dr Philip Beresford, who compiled the list, claims the statistics prove British women are working harder than ever and no longer need a man to be a success.

He said: “The girls are showing you can make it big if you keep trying. It doesn’t matter where you come from. Drive and determination can get you the Hollywood lifestyle.”

It is rumoured that Kristen Stewart is being lined up to replace Angelina Jolie in ‘Wanted 2’.

The ‘Twilight’ beauty has reportedly been approached to replace Angelina as the female lead character in the sequel to ‘Wanted’ and has met with Timur Bekmambetov, the director of the series.

According to the E! News service Timur wants Kristen to play a new young assassin in the comic book adaptation – about a brotherhood of secret assassins who have control over secret superhuman abilities – alongside James McAvoy.

Angelina’s character, Fox, was killed off at the end of the first film, but Timur had previously told of his plans to bring her back in the second instalment.

He said: “We know how to do this, but it’s still tough to do, because there is a bullet inside her head.

“But there has to be a reason for her to come back – and we know the reason. I think we found the reason for her to come back.”

Angelina, however, has reportedly distanced herself from the project, reportedly leading to the studio behind the film unsure whether to fund it without a big female star, meaning Kristen could save the project.

Complications have arisen for the project though, as Kristen is scheduled to film the fourth ‘Twilight’ film, ‘Breaking Dawn’ – which will be released in two parts – around October this year; although the film’s producers have not yet specified a start date for shooting, which has affected actors involved with which other projects they are able to take on.

Lohan Named a ‘Suspect’ in Rolex Theft

Lindsay Lohan has been named a suspect in the theft of a $35,000 Rolex watch, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

We’re told the watch belongs to one of Lindsay’s “friends,” who accidentally left it at Lindsay’s house earlier this year — and never got it back.

But sources tell us that cops have photographic evidence which could prove Lindsay knows exactly where the Rolex went.  We’re told cops rolled over to Lohan’s pad Wednesday to question the actress about the Rolex — but Lindsay denied any involvement in the theft.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case — but it’s another major issue for Lohan … who seems to be in a downward spiral.

Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, tells TMZ, “The allegations are completely untrue.”

Casey Johnson Rehab Claim Filed

An exclusive Malibu rehab facility has filed a claim against Casey Johnson’s estate — a claim that would wipe out all of her assets.

TMZ has obtained legal docs in which Renaissance Malibu claims Casey went to rehab there in August, 2009.  Renaissance claims the $74,750 bill has not been paid.

TMZ first reported Casey’s entire estate was valued at around $75,000 — which would leave $250 if the claim is paid in full.

According to the docs, Casey spent 30 days at the facility and then received additional days of therapy.

Dr. Drew to Lindsay: Don’t Blame Me!

Lindsay Lohan is holding Dr. Drew Pinsky responsible for “provoking” her father’s surprise police visit today — but Drew tells TMZ he’s never even met Michael Lohan.

Moments after Michael — along with several officers — rolled through LiLo’s apartment to check on 16-year-old Ali Lohan, Lindsay claimed that she “agreed” with a Tweet that read, “This is all that quack, Dr. Drews’ fault. He purposely provoked your unstable leech of a father.”

The Tweet was referring to a statement Drew made recently, in which he claimed if it were his kid he would plant drugs on her and have her as a last resort arrested to save her.

Drew tells TMZ, “I’ve personally never met Michael Lohan, nor Lindsay. My comments were in relation to what I would do as a father.”

Drew added, “I have no direct knowledge of her case, but I hope she gets the help she needs.”

Lindsay Lohan — Sheriffs Arrive

TMZ has learned the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department just showed up at Lindsay Lohan’s apartment accompanied by Michael Lohan to check on Lindsay’s sister’s welfare.

Sources tell TMZ Michael went to the Sheriff’s Department and said 16-year-old Ali Lohan was staying with Lindsay and he was concerned for her safety.

Lindsay just tweeted she is angry at building management for letting the cops and Michael in.

Michael, we’re told, convinced deputies to go to Lindsay’s pad to do a “welfare check” on Ali.

We’re told Ali was in the apartment and deputies spoke with her.  Deputies left and Ali was allowed to stay with Lindsay.

Romancing Rachel Uchitel – Coming to TV

There’s a story out there that Tiger Woods‘ Mistress #1 – Rachel Uchitel — is hitting a Vegas dance studio so she can be on the next installment of “Dancing with the Stars” … but TMZ has learned Rachel has become far more entrepreneurial and is pitching her very own reality show.

Sources tell TMZ Rachel, along with two producers and an agent, have gone to 4 different cable networks, pitching a show called “Romancing Rachel.”  We’re told the premise is that Rachel has a hard time meeting guys, given what’s been going on with her.  The pitch — watch Rachel try to find true love … with single guys.

We’re told Rachel was in L.A. earlier this month and pitched the show — along with her producing entourage — to E!, VH1, Oxygen and Lifetime.  We’re told Lifetime and E! have passed, but VH1 and Oxygen are still in play.

As for Rachel’s entourage — one of the producers is Scott Jeffress, who produced “Jersey Shore,” “The Bachelor” and a bunch of other shows.

As for “DWTS” … we’re told Rachel isn’t taking dance lessons to get on the show.  She just wants a new hobby.

Jon Gosselin: I Never Asked for Custody

Jon Gosselin is lashing out at the lawyer he just fired …. claiming the attorney filed legal papers asking for primary custody without Jon’s permission.

Gosselin tells TMZ, “I never wanted primary custody, he [attorney Anthony List] filed for that.  I only wanted a more flexible custody schedule so I could be with my kids.”

But List tells TMZ, “Jon signed off on everything.”

Jon, who is pissed that List spoke with the media, insists he wants to pay child support, adding, “I just can’t afford the $22,000 a month right now. That is why I’m trying to find a job.”

As for what type of job … Jon says, “I would like a job in some aspect of TV, probably as a host.”

Lindsay Lohan — One More Chance

Third time will be a charm for Lindsay Lohan’s deposition … or else.

TMZ was in court this AM when lawyers for the people suing Lindsay  — over a wild ride on Pacific Coast Highway back in 2007 — asked a judge to order her to show up for her deposition.  The attorneys also asked for sanctions against Lindsay, for not showing up twice for her depo.

But there were technical problems with the legal docs that were filed, and the lawyers — including Lindsay’s lawyer, Ed McPherson — agreed that Lohan will really really appear on May 4 for her deposition.

But this time the judge made it clear … he’ll throw the book at her if she doesn’t appear.
