The ‘Alice in Wonderland’ actor – who lives in Plan-de-la-Tour in southern France with partner Vanessa Paradis and their children Lily-Rose, 10, and seven-year-old Jack – has a dream to create his own alcohol, but would insist on trying it for himself before selling to the public.

He said: “I have a secret desire to make wine. But I’ll keep it for myself before daring to sell it commercially.

“In the Var where I live, it’s very interesting. The region is notable for rose and it’s very good, though I prefer red myself.”

The 46-year-old star credits his family for helping curb his wild ways and admits he would do anything for his kids.

He added to France’s VSD magazine: France has given me everything. A marvellous family and also an equilibrium which I missed enormously.

“With Vanessa and the kids, we live in a sort of little village in the south and I have the impression of being in paradise.

“Everything revolves around the children. ‘Where will we go for a walk? Should we eat at the house with them or maybe go for a picnic?’ These are the problems we face there.”

The ‘Kill Bill’ actress – who has daughter Maya, 11, and son Levon, eight with ex-husband Ethan Hawke – believes she needs to stay “steady” around her kids to stop them from growing insecure.

Asked whether the youngsters realise how difficult it is to juggle work and family life, she said: “I hope they don’t. I don’t want them to notice when I’m exhausted or depressed. They need a steady mother who gives them a feeling of security, otherwise they might become even more vulnerable than they, as children, already are.”

Uma is particularly keen for her children to view her as a role model and despite admitting motherhood can sometimes be difficult, she wants to share in every aspect of their lives.

She added: “I constantly wrack my brains, but unfortunately there’s no manual for it. It’s really important to be a role model. But I always try to explain to my children that their mum is only human, too.

“What does being a mother mean to me? That’s simple – Every day I experience the greatest love I have ever felt. It takes a lot of energy and nerves, but I don’t want to miss a second of it.”

The 39-year-old star always looks to her own mother for advice, but admits that hasn’t always been the case.

She added to Germany’s OK! magazine: “I can always rely on my mother’s advice. I rarely used to look for support from her when I was younger though – I wanted to learn from my own experiences. Even when I was a young girl I felt drawn to grown-ups and felt like going out into the world. Did I fail from time to time or make mistakes? Of course I did. But instead of drawing up walls inside of me, up to today I still meet people benevolently and with trust.”

The supermodel had been accused of punching limousine driver Miodrag Mejdina in the back of the head yesterday (02.03.10), but according to the New York Police Department (NYPD) officers are not interested in speaking to her about the incident.
A police spokesperson told Radar Online: “There were no arrests in the Campbell matter, and we have no intention of talking to her.”
The 39-year-old supermodel allegedly become enraged with her 27-year-old driver – who had been hired for the day – as he drove her through Manhattan, New York, and fled the vehicle on foot when he stopped to report her to authorities.
In response to the claims, her representative Jeff Raymond said: “There shouldn’t be a rush to judgement. Naomi will cooperate voluntarily, and there is more to the story than meets the eye.”
New York police issued a ‘harassment report’ over the incident because no officer witnessed what took place. It does not carry any penalty.
Authorities later confirmed the driver had decided not to pursue the matter, meaning Naomi is unlikely to face any charges.

The ‘Twilight’ actor is the latest star to be honoured with his own waxwork by famous museum Madame Tussauds and his figure will be unveiled in both the New York and London branches.

Artist Luke Fisher is keen to give the statues a true resemblance and has received a lot of help from other members of staff.

Madame Tussauds said: “They have been studying hundreds of photos and pouring through hours of video to ensure that they capture R-Pattz’s trademark sultry expression and inimitable style.”

Robert follows in the footsteps of a host of stars to have been immortalised in wax including Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Marilyn Monroe and David and Victoria Beckham.

The waxworks will give fans on both sides of the Atlantic a rare chance to get close to the heartthrob as he recently revealed he hides from his followers because he finds the attention hard to deal with.

He said: “You are trying to limit the amount of time you have to deal with it. I do a bit of hiding.”

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Alex and his manager, Chris Herbert, had worked out the deal and were ready to go ahead. It was going to be Alex’s bravest shoot ever, because he was going to be naked. But Katie insisted on having final approval on the interview before it ran. She sent Chris like 150 texts in three days, so in the end the shoot got cancelled.”

The 27-year-old actress believes she has been fortunate to land so many big roles, but admits she has often found herself out of her depth when working with big Hollywood names.

“Nicole agreed after laying down strict guidelines to put more romance into their relationship. One of those was that she didn’t want any interruptions when they dine out, meaning Lewis agreed to leave his BlackBerry at home. They also thought it would be an idea not to read tabloid stories about each other.”

The final part of the plan was that Lewis spoke to Nicole everyday – rather than just textinhg – while Nicole, 31, has agreed to reschedule her diary to spend more with her 25-year-old beau.
