Robbie Williams says his stage fright is like “thinking you’re going to throw yourself off” a balcony.

The ‘Morning Sun’ singer was amazed at how much his nerves spiralled out of control on his 2006 ‘Close Encounters’ world tour and never knows how they will affect him.
He said: “I never know what I’m gonna get until the day of the show itself.
“I did a tour and on that tour an awful lot of people came to see me, and I bit off a bit more than I could chew and I buckled.
“The stage fright went from being something necessary to prepare yourself for the big show to an overwhelming fear of, ‘I can’t go on, I can’t go on.’
“It’s a bit like that feeling when you’re standing on the balcony and you think you’re going to throw yourself off. That kind of fear.”
Robbie is still keeping tight-lipped about speculation he is to reunite with his former group Take That, despite reports revealing he joined his ex-bandmates – Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange – in the studio this week to record some tracks.
Robbie – whose best friend in the band Mark Owen missed the sessions as he battles to save his marriage to Emma Ferguson following his cheating confession – said: “I’ve got something very exciting planned for the end of the year, too. Separate to me… and that’s very, very, very exciting.”

Jennifer Lopez is putting her home life before her career for the first time.

The actress-and-singer – who has two-year-old twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony – has enjoyed spending time away from the spotlight and thinks it has helped her realise what’s important to her.
She said: “I think you have to know what is most important to you. And I think you have to realise that as much as you put into work, you have to put into your relationship and your children – but more so. That is how you balance it.
“For me, my family is the most important thing and everything else comes after that. It is hard to do everything, but you just have to. You have to make that effort. I have put so much time into my career in the past, so much time trying to get ahead and all that. But you have to do as much and then more for your home life too.”
The 40-year-old beauty – who is set to release a new album in the summer and stars in the romantic comedy ‘The Back-Up Plan’ – admits she is still on a “learning curve” as a mother.
She said: “I try to spend all my free time with Marc and the babies. It’s all a learning curve really. The last year has been an amazing time for us, me and Marc. I just wish I could be in two places at once. I would rather be at home now with my babies if I could be.”

The rapper-and-presenter claims his spouse is the funniest person he knows and he would love for them to show off her comedic talents in a joint venture.

Mariah’s most recent big screen outing was as a dowdy social worker in ‘Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire’ and she admits she felt “tortured” by the role, although she believes it has made her a better person.
She said: “It was definitely a commitment to be seen looking that bad. I love Lee Daniels, the director, but he’s a sick man. He wanted to torture me.

Robert Pattinson uses his films as therapy.

The ‘Twilight’ actor looks for roles that will help him with his life, which is why he was attracted to new movie ‘Remember Me’, in which he plays Tyler Hawkins a rebellious young man living in New York city and trying to cope with the suicide of his brother.

He said: “I try and pick roles that will help me develop as a human being and I think I was going through a similar kind of experience as my character Tyler, which I guess you could call being rebellious. I thought just doing the film would actually help me to think about and discover things that would help me in my life. I was kind of using it as a therapy exercise.”

The 23-year-old heartthrob also admitted he is still grieving the death of his beloved dog Patty last year as he felt he had lost a family member.

He told Parade.com: “I keep talking about my dog all the time. It was an incredible dog, and I said in an interview recently he was the most important person in my life. My family went crazy with me for saying that. But, however ridiculous it may seem to some people, my relationship with my dog was a defining moment. Having the dog die was, literally, like the worst day of my life. It was like losing a family member.”

The 32-year-old model-turned-author – who married jazz musician Jamie Cullum in January – is still getting used to married life but gets a thrill out of speaking about her spouse.

She said: “My husband is a good cook. I love saying ‘husband’. It’s funny that something so universal should make you so excited to say.”

Sophie – the granddaughter of late children’s writer Roald Dahl – and Jamie tied the knot in a small low-key ceremony and are pleased they kept the ceremony private.

She said in an interview with the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “Making that promise is a sacred thing and not really for anyone else. It’s to be witnessed by your close family and your close friends, and that’s it. It was wonderful and joyful, and that’s all I want to say.

“There is a reason why we didn’t want to have our wedding ‘out there’ as a lot of people do, and I want to remain true to that. I think one has to be allowed to have things that are the property of your own heart and this is one of them.”

Husband Jamie has previously spoken about how he and Sophie have always shunned the showbiz lifestyle.

He said: “I live an extremely unglamorous life. I choose to hang out with my friends who aren’t in that world and I choose to go to concerts and to the pub and play soccer.

Leonardo DiCaprio considered quitting acting after starring in ‘Titanic’.

The 35-year-old actor didn’t enjoy the fame he achieved by starring in the blockbuster movie because his appearance took precedence over his acting ability.

Leonardo – who starred in the movie with Kate Winslet – said: “At first I hated the way I was turned into a pretty boy, as if that was all that was expected of me.

“It made me almost want to stop acting for a while because the attention that was focused on me was not where I wanted to take my career.

“I didn’t want to do romantic films or anything which just exploited my image or appearance. I also kind of had to be more careful about the friends I was hanging out with. I was living a pretty big life for a while and then that just gets tiresome.”

Leonardo has also revealed children could be on the cards for him and girlfriend Bar Refaeli.

The ‘Shutter Island’ star admits family has become more important to him since the death of his 93-year-old grandmother Helene Indenbirken in 2008.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Family is something I’m starting to think about more and more, especially now that my grandmother is no longer around.  It makes you think about the importance of things and how important it is to be part of a family – to have some meaning apart from your work.”

The ‘Parachute’ singer – who has had a turbulent few weeks after dumping husband Ashley Cole following revelations he cheated on her with several women – has been forced to cancel two public appearances as she battles the lung infection.

Cheryl was due to film an interview on British talk show ‘Friday Night with Jonathan Ross’ last night (11.03.10), to be aired tonight (12.03.10), and was scheduled to perform live on UK station Radio One today.

The 26-year-old pop star is apparently so unwell she can’t even leave her house.

A source said: “Cheryl has been a trouper up until now but the pressure has finally got to her. She is very sick and feeling very, very low. The bronchitis has knocked her off her feet.”

Last night, her spokesperson confirmed Cheryl had been forced to withdraw from her pre-arranged appearances.

The spokesperson said: “Cheryl has had to postpone all promotion until she is better.”

Cheryl’s estranged spouse Ashley is apparently desperate to fly over from France – where he is currently being treated for a broken ankle – so he can meet up with the ‘Fight for This Love’ singer.

The England soccer player is due to be checked over by medics later today, and has a car on standby to take him to the airport as soon as he gets the all-clear.

A fellow patient at the sports injury clinic said: “There is a car on standby and a plane waiting to go. It is like a military operation.

“He’s had a long time to think about what he wants to say to his wife. Now he just wants to get on with it.

“I don’t know what he’ll do if doctors say he needs to stay. He’ll probably sneak off to the roof and be whisked away by helicopter”.

Robert Pattinson wants to release an album this year.

The ‘Twilight’ actor is keen to venture into the music world but says he will have to take a break from acting as he wouldn’t be able to combine his two passions.

He said: “I kind of want to do an album at the end of the year. All my friends are recording albums and I’m very annoyed about it. But I can’t do two things at once. I don’t know how people like Jennifer Lopez can act and also sing. I’m just like, ‘I can’t.’ But, hopefully, I’ll find some time to get it together.”

Last year, Robert revealed would love to pursue a music career but fears the baggage of his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ films would ruin his chances of being successful.

He said: “I write songs, that’s true. I’ll record a few tracks as soon as I finish the promotion for the movies, but before I won’t to do anything. I don’t want to release an album which has a sticker on it saying, ‘By the vampire of ‘Twilight’,’ on it.

“If the record is released one day there won’t be my name or my picture on the cover. Everyone would be biased. No one would listen to it.”

Robert Pattinson is auctioning some of his movie costumes for charity.

The actor has donated outfits from his latest movie ‘Remember Me’ including a blue Prada suit, slip-on Birkenstocks, and an off-white LNA T-shirt for an online sale, which will raise money for the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF).

Fans can start bidding for the 23-year-old ‘Twilight’ star’s costumes on the website icollector.com at 11am on Saturday (13.03.10).

His ‘Remember Me’ co-stars have also donated outfits for the charitable cause.

Actress Emilie de Ravin – who plays his love interest in the movie – has a pair of her denim shorts up for offer and Pierce Brosnan has donated an expensive grey suit.

Costumes from other hit movies such as ‘The Blind Side’ and ‘Leap Year’ are also up for grabs.

The actor – who shot to fame following the success of the ‘Twilight’ vampire franchise – was recently immortalized in wax at the famous museum Madame Tussauds.

Madame Tussauds said: “They have been studying hundreds of photos and pouring through hours of video to ensure that they capture R-Pattz’s trademark sultry expression and inimitable style.”

Robert follows in the footsteps of a host of stars to have been immortalized in wax including Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Marilyn Monroe and David and Victoria Beckham.

It was hoped the waxworks would give fans on both sides of the Atlantic a rare chance to get close to the heartthrob.

Gerard Butler is “paranoid” about having sex.

The Scottish actor – who has been romantically linked to his ‘Bounty Hunter’ co-star Jennifer Aniston in recent months – admits he is afraid anyone he sleeps with will go on to sell their story so is much more cautious about his behaviour.

Referring to golfer Tiger Woods – whose extra-marital affairs have been recently made public – he said: “I get laid less now than I used to, because I’m way more paranoid now. Look at f***ing Tiger Woods!

“I mean, I’m nowhere near as naughty as I used to be, partly because I did a lot of that when I was drinking.”

However, the ‘P.S. I Love You’ star hasn’t curbed his behaviour completely – he is just more discreet.

He told Men’s Health magazine: “I’m not saying I’ve cut that part out. I’m certainly no angel. There’s no smoke without fire. But here’s the thing: While they’re accusing me of that, I’ve probably been off somewhere else doing damage with someone else. I’m pretty smart like that.”

The 40-year-old star also feels he is addicted to “anxiety” and can’t help but create stressful situations for himself.

He said: “I was born into a world of anxiety… I am slightly addicted to anxiety. When I’m feeling anxious, I’ll create more anxiety for myself.

“Like I might call all these people about what’s fun to do tonight and end up with four different options, which in itself would put me into a blind panic; but then I’ll make another four calls just to make it 10 times more anxiety-ridden.”

Robert Pattinson was bullied at school – because of his passion for acting.

The ‘Twilight’ heartthrob’s teen years were made tough because the people he studied with tormented him over his thespian ambitions, but he admits his attitude may have contributed to his unpopularity.

Pattinson – who was a pupil at The Harrodian School in west London – said: “I got beaten up by a lot of people when I was younger. I was a bit of an idiot, but I always thought the assaults were unprovoked. It was after I first started acting and I liked to behave like an actor, or how I thought an actor was supposed to be, and that apparently provoked a lot of people into hitting me.”

Although the 23-year-old star avoided violence at school, he enjoyed getting physical for his role in new movie ‘Remember Me’, in which he plays Tyler Hawkins a rebellious young man living in New York city and trying to cope with the suicide of his brother.

He added in an interview with Parade.com: “I related to Tyler in that I wish I could have done things like he did when I had the opportunity. There is something quite satisfying about being a little bit more reckless and even fighting. It’s quite cathartic to just sort of randomly start hitting someone. It was fun kind of, letting all your rage go on the set. We had this big scene where I punch out some guys.”

Corey Haim has died.

The ‘Lost Boys’ actor was found unresponsive at the Los Angeles apartment he shared with his mother at 3.30am today (10.03.10), according to KTLA TV.

Canadian-born Corey, who was 38, is believed to have passed away from an accidental drugs overdose at the property in Oakwood, near Burbank, California. His mother was present at the time.

The star was taken to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to sources at the Los Angeles Police Department’s North Hollywood Division.

Coroner’s Lieutenant Cheryl MacWillie has already revealed an autopsy will be carried out to determine the official cause of death.

Corey shot to fame in the 80s after appearing in ‘Lucas’, werewolf movie ‘Silver Bullet’ and cult vampire film ‘The Lost Boys’, which also starred Kiefer Sutherland.

He also briefly dated former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham in 1995.

Corey had made no secret of his battles with drug abuse and in 2000 he confessed to taking large quantities of the sedative Valium every day.

But he appeared to be a battle he had won and in 2004 he claimed he had overcome his substance abuse problems, saying: “I’m clean, sober, humble and happy.”

The 60-year-old actor, who has been married to his wife Susan for 33 years, claims sex can ruin a person and he would never be tempted to cheat on his partner.

Cheryl Cole is planning to move out of her marital home.

The ‘Parachute’ singer wants to quit the house she shared with estranged husband Ashley Cole in Surrey, South East England – who is alleged to have cheated on her with a string of other women – as soon as possible because it holds too many painful memories.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Cheryl does not want the separation to be a long, drawn-out affair. She wants to find somewhere quickly so she can regain stability and become settled once more.

“If she can’t find somewhere she likes she’ll consider rented accommodation in the short term.”

The news will come as a further blow to soccer star Ashley, 29, who is presently in France receiving treatment for a broken ankle, which has stopped him returning to the UK for crisis talks about his marriage.

Ashley was due to fly home yesterday (09.03.10) but is said to have chosen to stay on at the clinic longer in an attempt to get fit to play for England in the World Cup in South Africa this summer.

The comedian insists that people should work hard for their money and he wouldn’t want to make anyone’s life easier by bequeathing them his cash, so would rather donate to charitable organisations which care for living creatures.

Sandra paid tribute to her fellow Best Actress nominees – Dame Helen Mirren, Carey Mulligan, Gabourey Sidibe and Meryl Streep – in her acceptance speech, singling out ‘Julie and Julia’ star Meryl, calling her “my lover” in reference to their shared kiss at the People’s Choice Awards.

She also jokingly thanked all the Hollywood stars who had been nasty to her in the past, including George Clooney, who she said had once thrown her in a swimming pool.

Despite making the audience at Los Angeles’ Kodak Theatre laugh with her speech, she then became tearful as she thanked her late mother Helga D. Meyer.

She said: “Thank you for not letting me ride in cars with boys until I was 18. And for reminding her daughters that there’s no race, no religion, no class system, no colour, nothing, no sexual orientation that makes us better than anyone else. We are all deserving of love.”

The 23-year-old star – who is dating his ‘Twilight’ co-star Kristen Stewart – hates watching himself on screen because he always feels like a “fraud” who is ill at ease with his emotions.

He explained to Live magazine: “I took my mother to the ‘Twilight’ premiere and squirmed through the first ten minutes. But in the end I couldn’t bear it, so I had to leave and went out and sat in the car.

“I hate watching myself on screen, because I’m constantly worried that I’ll look like a fraud. Even before I started acting, I was constantly thinking I was faking my emotions. I remember when I was a teenager thinking my girlfriend was cheating on me, and going around riling myself up, pretending to cry. It was totally illegitimate – I actually didn’t feel anything.”
