Pierce Brosnan has revealed his ‘Remember Me’ co-star Robert Pattinson was pursued by beautiful girls on set every day.

The former James Bond star – who plays Robert’s estranged father in the gripping family drama – had to make do with older admirers while the 23-year-old heartthrob soaked up the attention of screaming teenagers.

Pierce, who shot the movie with Robert in New York, told Empire magazine: “I remember being outside the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. We were shooting in the Oak Room and there were 2,000 girls out there from 12 to 21. Actually, there were some gorgeous looking girls out there, but they weren’t around my caravan. I had the mothers at my end and some beauties there were too! But it was very sedate by my end of the motor homes. I’d walk out and get a hearty cheer. I’d trip up the steps of the Plaza feeling very good with myself that I still have the juice. But as I’d be walking down the corridors into the Plaza I would hear this wave, this cacophony of sound as girls clamoured for Robert. His girls go through the rafters for him.”

The 56-year-old star thinks Robert – who has become an international heartthrob after playing vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’ movies – will be able to handle his enormous fame, but he personally finds it almost incomprehensible.

He added: “I never experienced anything like that as a young man of 23. I’m sure he’ll weather the waters swimmingly. He’s a grand lad and I wish him well in every way.”

Robin Williams doesn’t know how John Travolta coped after his son died.

The actor – who stars in family movie ‘Old Dogs’ alongside John, whose 16-year-old son Jett passed away in January 2009 following a seizure while on holiday in the Bahamas – can’t imagine there is anything “tougher” than outliving your children.

Referring to the Governors Ball, a party that took place after the Oscars ceremony in March, Williams said: “That’s the worst thing that can happen to you, to have a child die before you. It doesn’t get any tougher than that. There’s such a kindness to him. Sitting there at the Governors Ball, to hang with him for a minute, that was the best moment for me.”

The ‘Good Will Hunting’ star – who has three children, daughter Zelda, 20, and sons Zach, 26, and Cody, 18 – says his friend is like a “sweet panda” because he has dealt with Jett’s passing with such dignity.

He added to the USA Today newspaper: “He’s such a sweet man. He’s the human equivalent of a panda. I saw him after the Academy Awards. It was good just to sit with him and say, ‘How are you doing, man?’ He said, ‘I’m OK.’ “

Williams, 58, also admitted the time off work he had last year following surgery to correct an irregular heartbeat had given him the opportunity to reassess his life. He said: “It’s so nice having time off right now. There’s no rush. Enjoy it. When you have something like heart surgery, you appreciate the simple things, like breathing. I’m taking it a lot easier.”

Jesse James has reassured Sandra Bullock that she can still see his children.

The motorcycle enthusiast – who is accused of cheating on the actress with at least four other women – has reportedly told his spouse that the problems in their marriage won’t come between her and his three kids, in particular his six-year-old daughter Sunny, who she is especially close to.

A source said: “Jesse told Sandra he’s going to make sure she sees Sunny as often as she’d like when he has her. She’s spoken to her and the other kids and has said she’s not going to lose them.”

Despite his reassurances, Jesse is said to have found it difficult to explain to Sunny – whose mother is his second wife Janine Lindemulder – why Sandra isn’t spending time with her at the moment.

The source added to America’s OK! magazine: “He told Sunny that he made some mistakes that really hurt Sandra’s feelings and made it impossible to trust him right now, so she went away to try to not be so angry.”

Despite her closeness to Jesse’s children, including his son and daughter with first wife Karla, sources have insisted that 45-year-old Sandra – who is in telephone contact with Sunny every day – has no plans to bid for legal custody of the children if she and the ‘Monster Garage’ host divorce.

Her representative said: “There have never been any plans for Sandra to adopt any of Jesse’s children.”

Jesse – who is also accused of sleeping with stripper Melissa Smith, photographer Brigitte Daguerre and an unnamed mistress who is represented by high-powered lawyer Gloria Allred – has spoken about his regret over the upset and hurt he has caused Sandra.

The 40-year-old TV personality said: “There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgement that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.”

Despite Jesse’s regrets, it has been claimed that Sandra is planning to file for divorce.

A source told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “He has asked Cheryl to fly out to Los Angeles for a secret date with him over Easter. He’s having a big family get-together and he wants her to be there.”

The 35-year-old pop star has worked with Cheryl, 26, on many occasions, first duetting with her on his 2008 single ‘Heartbreaker’.

He then went on to co-write and produce most of her debut solo album ‘3 Words’, which was released last year.

Will Smith is reportedly causing huge disruptions to his wife’s TV show.

The ‘Men In Black’ actor has been spending a lot of time on the set of medical drama ‘HawthoRNe’ – in which his spouse Jada Pinkett Smith plays a nurse – because his lack of filming commitments have given him more time to devote to his role as producer on the show.

But he has allegedly been infuriating cast and crew by submitting “pages of notes and rewrite requests” every week.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “He is not currently shooting a movie, so he’s been a constant on the set in recent weeks.

“He’s been inserting his input and requesting so many changes to the script that it pushed back the production schedule tremendously and caused everything to spiral out of control.

“Everyone is praying for him to book a new movie so that he will go away.”

Will is currently making a decision on whether his next movie will be ‘Men in Black 3’ or ‘City that Sailed’ but has no definite filming commitments lined up.

Rihanna is reportedly stepping up her personal security after receiving X-rated letters from a crazed fan.

The ‘Rude Boy’ singer is said to be shocked by the graphic fan mail and her rumoured boyfriend, baseball player Matt Kemp, is believed to have stepped in to make sure the obsessed letter writer, who calls himself ‘Buster’, can’t get to her.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Matt has asked Rihanna’s team to be extra cautious since she was sent two very steamy letters.

“Her friends are also concerned about the situation. They spent a long time talking about it when they dined at the Spanish Kitchen in West Hollywood last week.

“They are really worried things with this guy are going to get out of hand.”

In what could be a result of her new security measures, the 22-year-old singer reportedly had a gold golf cart when she appeared at the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday night (27.03.10), which took her just 17 metres from one side of the backstage area to the other.

The sexy singer – who wore a revealing nude-effect leotard in her ‘She Wolf’ music video – has poor self-esteem regarding her figure and she started going to see a therapist in 2001 to overcome her negative feelings.

She said: “It helped me so much with every aspect of my life, from body image to relationships. My therapist told me why I behaved in certain ways and not to feel so pressured. It’s incredibly liberating to spend an hour talking to someone and not caring about what you sound like. It’s about understanding myself. Sometimes I’ll speak to my therapist for an hour a day. It’s become part of my routine.”
The Colombian-born beauty says therapy helps her on the inside, but it takes a lot of hard work at the gym to give her the figure, which is the envy of women all over the world.

She told Fabulous magazine: “All through my 20s I spent more time worrying about what I didn’t have than thinking about what I did have. I wished I was taller, had longer legs, slimmer hips, a smaller bottom, even straighter hair. I’m just like all women – we’re born to criticise ourselves.
“I’ve worked my butt off to look like this. I’ve achieved the body I have now through hard work and careful eating. I’ve worked out every day, either running, doing gym work or dancing.
Nowadays, the 33-year-old pop star looks at just her body shape, and not the bathroom scales.

The actor voices a Viking in new animated adventure ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ and although he believes his natural dialect was perfect for the role, he worried it had softened too much from living in America.

He said: “This was the only movie that I’ve ever made or will make that, after watching it for the first time, made me realise that my accent was not Scottish enough. I was like, ‘What is that?’ I was stuck in the middle, so I felt that it needed a bit more.

“I think a strong Celtic accent lends itself to Viking-ness, or any kind of warrior breed. It was the same in ‘300’ as well.”

The ‘Bounty Hunter’ actor also revealed he enjoyed the freedom of working on an animated movie because he didn’t have to wear costumes that would make him the subject of ridicule.

He explained: “It’s freeing, in the way that you’re not constrained by false beards and uncomfortable costumes, and you can do what you want in there. You don’t have to look at 150 extras, who you know are sitting there going, ‘What the f**k are you talking about? You look like an idiot whose wearing leather underpants.’”

Sandra Bullock’s friends will be “shocked” if she reconciles with Jesse James.

The ‘Blind Side’ actress has been left rocked by allegations that her husband of almost five years cheated on her with several women and pals say she can’t even “look at” her spouse because she is so upset.

One source said: “Knowing the kind of person she is, I’d be shocked if she contemplated going back to him.

“It’s as bad as when her mother died in 1997. She just can’t look at him and can’t talk to him.”

Another source close to the actress – who won Best Actress at the Academy Awards last month – told RadarOnline.com: “She’s devastated. She’s beyond upset. And she has every right to be. She was on top of the world with her Oscar victory and now this. It’s such a difficult thing to deal with.

“How can their marriage survive this?”

Despite her devastation, friends insist Sandra, 45, doesn’t need to be pitied as she is strong enough to survive the damage to her marriage.

Close pal Joel Voorhies told UsMagazine.com: “It is probably one of the most devastating pieces of information she’s ever gotten.

“But don’t feel sorry for her. Sandra is one of the most intelligent, thoughtful, strong women. Everybody gets hurt. She will rise above it. She will make a decision that will work for her. This moment in time does not define who she is.”

Last week, Jesse,40, said the “vast majority” of claims about his behaviour were “untrue and unfounded”.

However, he added: “I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment. There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me.”

Cheryl Cole is the celebrity most searched for on mobile phones.

The Girls Aloud singer has been named as the personality most searched for by people playing on the internet on their telephone handsets, and her ‘Fight for This Love’ video has been crowned the most downloaded song and video clip.

The 26-year-old beauty strolled ahead in the results – which were put together by the Orange Digital Media Index (ODMI) – and received over 40 per cent more phone searches than ‘Hannah Montana’ star Miley Cyrus, who came second, and ‘Twilight’ hunk Robert Pattinson, who was placed third.

Paul Jevons from Orange, said: “Mobile searches are a real barometer of fame and reflect the public’s fascination with celebrities when on the move.”

Cheryl also fought off stiff competition when she topped the most downloaded music tracks and video download polls.

The Black Eyed Peas song ‘Meet Me Halfway’ was the second most sought after track, while Lady Gaga’s single ‘Bad Romance’ came in third.

Robert Pattinson made another appearance in the top 10 video downloads, as droves of fans of his ‘Twilight’ movies downloaded the ‘Twilight: New Moon’ movie trailer – making it the second most popular video.

Miley Cyrus isn’t perfect.

The singer and actress – who is best known for her role in Disney TV show ‘Hannah Montana’ – believes it is normal to make mistakes and tries to learn from any wrong decisions she makes in her work.

She said: “Every career thing I do can’t be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong. I always say the minute I stop making mistakes is the minute I stop learning, and I’ve definitely learned a lot.”

The 17-year-old actress recently appeared in drama movie ‘The Last Song’, where she met her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

Miley is convinced she will need to book herself in for acting classes once she has watched the final version of the film.

She explained to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “I’ve not taken like acting lessons or anything, but it doesn’t mean I don’t need to because I’m sure I do. Once I watch this film in the theatre, I’m probably going to go book an acting coach.

“I’m kind of bi-polar in my acting choices because I just want to do a little bit of everything. One day I’m telling my mom I want to do an action movie and then I was to be doing comedy and then all different types of things. I get a little bored so hopefully I’ll get a chance to do a little bit of everything.”

Miley Cyrus is the complete opposite of her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

The ‘Hannah Montana’ actress – who has been dating her ‘The Last Song’ co-star since they met on set – says even though they don’t have very much in common, she is amazed at how similar their upbringings were.

She explained: “He’s a 6ft 4in Australian surfer, and I’m 5ft 4in, from Tennessee and I couldn’t surf if someone gave me $10million. So we couldn’t be more opposite.

“But I went to Australia to visit him and his family, and I was like, ‘Omigosh, this looks like Nashville.’ There were like cows everywhere. I am like, ‘How are you from the opposite side of the planet and your world looks just like mine?’ ”

The 17-year-old starlet also admitted her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, is just thrilled Liam isn’t a “psycho”.

She explained to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “My dad’s just happy that I have something going on in my life with someone normal. No psychos, so that’s good.”
