Ashton Kutcher Talks About Love And Relationships
by cyan on Feb.04, 2010, under Love, Relationships
Ashton Kutcher Knew Demi Moore was ‘The One’ when he realised he could hate her.
The ‘Valentines Day’ star – who married the actress four years ago – believes the key to a lasting relationship is being able to put up with another person’s bad habits and still loving them for their flaws.
He said: “I think one thing sort of defines it which is, it’s not how much you love someone when you love them, but it’s how much you love them when you hate them. It’s when you’re in that moment where you cannot stand what the person you’re with is doing, but you still love them. When things get tough it’s not what you say, it’s about what you do.”
Ashton, 31, also claimed good manners are the key to being a good partner, and says he learned how to treat women properly from a young age.
He explained to Parade.com: “My brother had a heart transplant when he was 13, and my parents were at the hospital a lot so I went and I stayed at a friend’s house. And his mother was this really wonderful, wonderful woman that sort of taught me a bunch of things like table manners and how to treat a woman – pulling out her chair, opening the door for her.
“So while my brother was in the hospital, I basically learned etiquette and how to use it when you’re dating a woman.”

Claire Danes Thinks She’s Lucky To Have An Actor Husband
by cyan on Feb.04, 2010, under Husband
The American actress – who met British spouse Hugh Dancy, 34, when filming the 2007 drama ‘Evening’ – said being in the same profession means the couple can pass on tips, especially when one of them is due to start work on a particularly challenging role.
She said: “He did play an autistic person six months prior to my doing ‘Temple Grandin’, which was a really odd coincidence. And it was very convenient for me, because our bookshelves were already stacked with all of the required reading. It was a great gift to have him understand what I was doing in such an intimate way.”
The 30-year-old star – who plays the title role of autistic author and animal behaviour expert Temple Grandin in her new film – said she was so desperate to get the part just right because the writer is still alive and she didn’t want to “disappoint” her.
She explained to the USA Today newspaper: “I read some of her books and started exploring who she was and became enraptured. It was totally daunting, because she’s wired and organized in such a fundamentally different way from myself. She’s alive and would ultimately see it, and I didn’t want to disappoint her.”
Claire spent an afternoon with the author as part of her research and was delighted to gain her approval.
She said: “She really liked it, which is a profound relief. She was the only critic I cared about. Once I had her validation and her appreciation, I felt very, very good.”

Brittany Murphy’s Husband And Mother Were Questioned By Coroners
by cyan on Feb.04, 2010, under Husband, Mother
Brittany Murphy’s husband and mother were questioned by coroners at their home yesterday (03.02.10).
The late ‘Clueless’ actress’ spouse Simon Monjack and her mum Sharon Murphy – who lived with the couple in Los Angeles – were visited by Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter and queried about the circumstances surrounding the 32-year-old star’s death on December 20.
Leaving the building, he told TMZ: “The investigation is continuing. The family is very cooperative and we will continue with our investigation.
“They were able to fill in some questions that we had involving the case. But I really can’t comment on it.
“We actually interviewed them together.”
Brittany is believed to have died from a suspected cardiac arrest, but her death certificate lists the cause of her death as “deferred” and the manner of death as “pending investigation”.
Following her passing, there has been much speculation about Brittany’s use of prescription drugs and weight issues.
Ten different types of medication were confiscated from her bedroom after she was found collapsed in the shower.
It is believed the coroner paid the pair a visit to find out more information after being unsatisfied the toxicology report – which has not yet been released – told the full story.
This news comes shortly after it was claimed the coroners had been warned prescription medications used to arrive at the property every week, addressed to someone called ‘Lola’.
The gossip website reports: “Sources tell TMZ a man who worked at Brittany Murphy’s house has told the Coroner’s Office that someone would deliver a sealed, manila envelope to the house every Friday filled with prescription medications in bottles. The name on the envelope – ‘Lola.’
“The ex-employee told the coroner drugs were also mailed from Los Angeles to Louisiana – where Brittany was shooting a movie and Simon was tagging along – in the months before she died.”
The official cause of death is due to be announced shortly, when toxicology test results come back and the autopsy report will be released.

Did Alex Reid’s Parents Know About His Marriage ?
by Alice on Feb.04, 2010, under Marriage, Model
The cage-fighter’s mother Carol and father Bob are thrilled their 34-year-old son jetted to Las Vegas to marry the former glamour model on Tuesday (02.02.10) – even though they only found out about the nuptials following a late night telephone call.
Carol, 69, told the Daily Star newspaper: “We had no idea but we’re so happy for him. This is what he has always wanted. He called in the middle of the night and I spoke to both of them. They were really, really happy. There is no disappointment for us about not being there, we are just genuinely pleased for them.”
Bob, 71, added: “This is magical for him.”
Katie, 31, and Alex were married at the Wynn Hotel on Tuesday afternoon, before spending their wedding night at a strip club with friends. They claimed they hadn’t signed a magazine deal because their union was based solely on their love for each other.
However, it has been revealed their “secret” ceremony was actually being recorded by two camera crews, who were capturing footage for her ITV reality show.
As well as filming the ceremony, it is believed the crew also attended the pair’s raunchy wedding party at the Spearment Rhino strip club afterwards.
The newlyweds and crew were joined in the club’s private room by her best friends, Gary Cockerill and Phil Turner – who gave Katie away during their $635 ceremony – her agent Diane Colburt and Alex’s best man, fellow cage-fighter Josh Hathaway, 22.
During the alcohol-fuelled evening, the group are believed to have spent over $31,750 – most of which was their bill for champagne.
At one point, the outspoken model is said to shouted: “We’re Mr. and Mrs. Reid, the haters are going to love this. This will show them.”
The pair were reportedly intoxicated as they watched the exotic dancers strip and perform in the private area. The group was later spotted leaving the Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club, after spending four hours in the club’s private room called The Skybox – which costs $1,000 an hour, and showcases their best dancers.
One club source said: “All sorts of stuff goes up in The Skybox. That’s where you get the best treatment. Anything can happen in The Skybox – the girls really let go.”

Charlie’s Angels – Valentine’s Day ?
by Alice on Feb.03, 2010, under Actress
The 34-year-old actress – who is rumoured to be engaged to actor Justin Long – tries to be a loving girlfriend every day and so doesn’t want to turn the romantic festival into a big occasion, opting to spend it with her single pals instead.
She explained: “I don’t really think about it very much other than just to be with the people you love. I don’t think I’ve ever done that really conventional romantic thing.
“I like being with my friends and having a fun time. I feel so bad when that holiday makes people feel really bad, it’s not fair.”
The ‘Charlie’s Angels’ star – who recently made her directorial debut with ‘Whip It!’ – also spoke about her love of filmmaking, saying the best part of being behind the cameras is finally feeling able to put across her true self.
She told Self magazine: “Just being able to convey my own human heart into a cinematic venue. I just wanted to talk about family and life and love and friendship, and trying to find your way into empowerment in life in a way that’s also fun and funny. For me, it’s just really trying to express myself into a film.”
Drew sparked speculation she and Justin – who she has been dating for two years – were planning to marry after her relationship status on her Facebook page was reportedly changed to ‘Engaged’.

How Katie Price And Alex Reid Celebrated Their Marriage?
by cyan on Feb.03, 2010, under Love, Marriage

Katie Price
The glamour model was seen heading to Spearmint Rhino with the cage-fighter and an unnamed male friend shortly after their 22-minute wedding at Las Vegas’ exclusive Wynn Hotel yesterday (02.02.10).
They are also believed to have later visited Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club, where they watched more pole dancers before returning to their $10,000-a-night penthouse honeymoon suite at the Wynn.
Although it was believed the couple had shunned publicity for the wedding, it has now been claimed a camera crew from Katie’s British reality TV series ‘What Katie Did Next’ were present to see the 31-year-old star given away by gay best pals Gary Cockerill and Phil Turner.
A source told the Mail Online website: “Her ITV2 camera crew were with her and could well have filmed the wedding.
“But Katie is not sure yet whether she will allow the footage to be aired.
“She has not signed any magazine deal for the wedding photographs, but they are likely to do an interview about it when they get back.”
According to friends of the couple, Katie was determined to make the ceremony as different as possible from the lavish, star-studded nuptials she had when she married Peter Andre in 2005.
A source said: “They wanted to have the ceremony as soon as they got to Las Vegas, but the bridal stores weren’t open so she couldn’t get a dress.
“She had her fashion team trawling all over town for a gown. In the end she just had to make do.
“It was nothing like last time when she’d spent months designing her perfect dress. Her last wedding – with all her celeb pals and a huge fuss – ended in disaster.
“Kate wanted a no-nonsense do this time, with just her nearest and dearest.”
Katie and Peter’s divorce was finalised in September, four months after they announced their separation.

What Peter Andre Has To Say About His Ex-Wife Katie Price’s Marriage?
by cyan on Feb.03, 2010, under Relationships, Wife
Peter Andre doesn’t care his ex-wife Katie Price has got married – as long as her new husband is a “positive influence” on his kids.
The 36-year-old singer was stunned when he discovered this morning his ex-wife had wed cage-fighter Alex Reid in a Las Vegas ceremony yesterday (02.02.10), but insists he isn’t upset that she has moved on so quickly.
Peter – who has two children, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii, with Katie, and is stepfather to her seven-year-old son Harvey from a previous relationship – said: “I’ve thought about this, all of this morning, and I thought as long as they’re a positive influence on my kids that’s all I care about. If they’re happy great, it’s none of my business.”
Pete – who only divorced Katie, 31, last September – had no idea about the nuptials and admitted Katie hadn’t contacted him to tell him her plans before heading to the US city.
He said: “I didn’t know anything about it. I haven’t spoke to her. I do speak to her, you have to speak to each other because you have kids and you have to keep things up for them.”
Peter was being interviewed on the Radio 1 breakfast show this morning (03.02.10), and although he was reluctant to discuss Katie’s marriage outspoken host Chris Moyles quizzed him about it.
At one point, Chris said to Peter: “I think the marriage is madness. In the circus that is Katie Price’s life as long as the kids are alright that’s all you should care about.”
Peter replied: “That’s exactly what I think. Bottom line is I love those kids, they’re my entire life, maybe I’m over-protective of them. But as long as they’re looked after that’s all I care about.”
Chris added: “If I were you I’d try and get custody of the kids, I’d get them out of there. But I don’t have kids, what do I know?”
Katie – also known as Jordan – and Alex, 34, tied the knot in a ceremony at the exclusive Wynn Hotel yesterday afternoon.
The couple announced: “We are very much in love and look forward to the future together. We can’t wait to get back and celebrate our marriage with our friends and family who we know fully support our wishes.”

Katie Price And Alex Reid – Marriage
by cyan on Feb.03, 2010, under Love, Marriage
Katie Price and Alex Reid have got married.
The glamour model and the cage fighter – who have been dating since last July – tied the knot in a ceremony at Las Vegas’ Wynn Hotel yesterday afternoon (02.02.10).
The couple announced: “We are very much in love and look forward to the future together. We can’t wait to get back and celebrate our marriage with our friends and family who we know fully support our wishes.”
A spokesman for Katie and Alex insisted they hadn’t signed an exclusive deal with a glossy magazine as their union was based purely on love.
He said: “Their decision to marry has not been made with any pre-conceived commercial plan or media deal in place, and their reason for getting married is purely down to their love for each other.”
Katie – who raises three children, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii, with ex-husband Peter Andre – had been keen to wed Alex as soon as the couple arrived in Vegas earlier this week.
Sources claim she didn’t even have time to get her wedding dress and sent a group of pals to find her ideal gown.
A source said: “They wanted to have the ceremony as soon as they got to Vegas, but the bridal stores weren’t open so she couldn’t get a dress.
“She had her fashion team trawling all over town for a gown. In the end she just had to make do.”
The couple – who were spotted shopping for rings just hours before the 22-minute ceremony – had recently spoke of their plans to get married this year.
Katie – also known as Jordan – said: “This year I will marry Alex and I’m going to have his kids. I wish I’d met Alex six years ago. He’s perfect in every way.”
The couple met just weeks after Katie had split from husband Peter.

Johnny Depp – In A Classic Role
by Alice on Feb.02, 2010, under Actor, Films

The 46-year-old actor – who stars alongside Anne Hathaway and Mia Wasikowska in the upcoming Tim Burton film – has revealed the 3-D reinterpretation of the Lewis Carroll book will contain plenty of new twists, plots and visuals and is not solely based on the original story.
He said: “It doesn’t look like any ‘Alice in Wonderland’ that’s ever been before. It’s a completely new story – it’s Alice returning back to Wonderland.”
Movie producer Suzanne Todd is convinced movie buffs will be thrilled with how they have modernised the classic storylines, taken from the ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ and ‘Through the Looking-Glass’ novels.
She said: “We took the combination of this classic story and new technology and pushed it into something like nothing you’ve ever seen before.”
Anne was impressed with the complexity of the film, and detailed illustration of the stars, the animated characters and their settings.
She said in a video interview with Radar Online: “You’re seeing so many different wild characters and great locations come together.”
Ken Ralston, senior visual effects supervisor, added: “We’re just trying to put you straight in the middle of this strange world and take you on this journey.”
‘Alice in Wonderland’ was filmed using live action and motion capture techniques, and will be released in 3-D on March 5.

Uninvited Jackson’s
by Alice on Feb.02, 2010, under Award

The late ‘Thriller’ star – who died from an acute Propofol intoxication last June – was honoured with a special musical tribute to mark being given a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award but organisers failed to invite his siblings, including those who performed in The Jackson 5 with him, to the star-studded music awards show in Los Angeles on Sunday (31.01.10).
His brother and former bandmate Randy tweeted: “So proud, my brother being honoured tonight with the Lifetime Achievement Award. My family would love to be there but, truth is, we weren’t invited.
“Do you want more truth? Let me be clear. When I said ‘my family’ I meant my brothers, sisters and parents.”
Michael’s three children, Paris, 11, Prince Michael I, 12, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II – aka Blanket – were there to honour their father but Randy is convinced the children were only invited as an afterthought.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Randy was incandescent. He believed the Grammys only thought of including Michael’s children at the 11th hour as dad Joe Jackson complained there was no family representation.
“The brothers were hoping to attend and wear their silver gloves and matching suits to honour their brother. They feel insulted and hurt that they have been snubbed in this way. Michael would’ve wanted them there.
“The Jackson 5 was where the magic began. They’re a huge part of his story and felt they had been horribly overlooked.”
The eldest children took to the stage wearing black suits with red armbands to accept the late ‘Thriller’ singer’s award – which he was given for his contribution to the music industry, while Blanket remained backstage with his grandmother Katherine Jackson.
A source said: “Michael’s children themselves decided just Prince Michael I and Paris would speak on stage and accept the award on behalf of their dad.”
Meanwhile, Michael’s older brother Tito – who along with the ‘Billie Jean’ star, Randy, and siblings Jermaine, Jackie, and Marlon had performed with The Jacksons – is being sued after allegedly failing to perform at a tribute show for his brother in the US.
Promoter Roy Isaac has told Tito to repay the £4,700 he was paid for the concert within 30 days or he could face legal action.

Alex Reid Says Katie Price Is ‘The Perfect Woman’ For Him
by cyan on Feb.02, 2010, under Relationships
Alex Reid admits Katie Price is ‘The One’ – and has hinted he is ready to propose to her.
The cage-fighter – who was crowned the winner of British reality TV show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ last week – is madly in love with the model and is getting ready to pop the question.
He said: “She’s ‘The One’, 100 per cent. I’ve completely realised how fantastic she is. How generous and kind she is, and how much I fancy her. She is just the perfect woman for me.”
When quizzed on whether he was on the brink of proposing, Alex replied: “That’s a secret. I’ve got lots of plans but I’m going to keep them a mystery.”
Alex, 34, also hopes the public will stop giving him and 31-year-old Katie such a hard time.
The couple endured a torrid few months when they started dating following Katie’s split from now ex-husband Peter Andre, but the muscle-bound hunk believes people will now be able to see they are not bad people.
Alex added in an interview with Britain’s Star magazine: “She’s my girlfriend, I love her and I don’t want to see her suffer like that.
Perhaps I can help change that now. I hope I can. That’s part of the reason I did the show – I wanted people to stop giving her grief because she was with me.”

Cheryl Cole Was ‘Heartbroken’ Over The Plight Of The Haiti Earthquake Victims
by cyan on Feb.01, 2010, under Singer
The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer was overjoyed when Simon Cowell approached her to appear on his Helping Haiti charity single – a cover version of R.E.M.’s classic hit ‘Everybody Hurts’ – because she had been desperate to do something to help the disaster-stricken Caribbean nation.
Cheryl – who is joined on the record by a host of music stars, including Kylie Minogue, Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey and Jon Bon Jovi – said: “Simon asked me and I didn’t hesitate in saying yes.
“First and foremost, the cause was what struck me as the most important part. The fact it is the most amazing line-up and such a legendary song makes it more special.
“I think the plight of Haiti is so important. To see anyone suffer so much and those heart-breaking images are enough to move anyone to want to help.”
Alexandra Burke also features on the single and admits she wasn’t surprised when Simon announced he was embarking on the project.
She said: “I agreed in a beat. Simon has a big heart and he always steps up when it matters.
“Recording was amazing – I will never forget it. It was an incredibly emotional feeling.”
The recording of the single was completed on Saturday night (30.01.10) and it is released on Sunday (07.02.10).
Leona Lewis – another of the 21 artists who feature on the single – has urged fans to buy the track when it is released.
She told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “Haiti has really affected me. With all my heart, I urge you to help and support Haiti.”

Katy Perry Found Out From Google That Russell Brand Was Shopping A Ring
by cyan on Feb.01, 2010, under Engagement, Love
Katy Perry found out Russell Brand was going to propose to her through Google alerts.
The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer – who got engaged to the British funnyman over the New Year – discovered the proposal was imminent after reading about Russell shopping for a ring on the internet search engine.
Katy, 25, said: “Unfortunately, I still Google myself sometimes, I saw it on Google alerts. I’m going to be honest!”
Russell admitted: “I was buying rings.”
Despite having the inkling that Russell was going to propose, Katy was stunned when the 34-year-old comedian made his grand gesture while they were holidaying in India.
Russell, 34, explained: “There was an elephant involved. We were on an elephant just before it.
“We were in India, It was at midnight, and it is not a good idea to be on the back of an elephant during a fireworks display.”
Katy added: “They can’t tell the difference between an apocalypse and New Year’s Eve.”
The couple attended an exclusive pre-Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles last night (31.01.10), and Russell was in a mischievous mood.
Joking about the cocaine, former drug addict Russell said: “Grammys. I know why it’s called that. That’s how much coke you need to cope with it.”
Upon hearing this, Katy got upset and told him: “Stop it and behave! I don’t want to upset the Grammys, I want one.”
The Salute To Icons event was held to celebrate the work of Universal boss Doug Morris before the Grammys ceremony.
The big winner on the night was Beyonce Knowles, who scooped six honours – a record for a female artist – including Song of the Year for ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)’ and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for ‘Halo’.

Prince said: “We are proud to be here to accept this award on behalf of our father, Michael Jackson.
