The ‘Angels’ hitmaker – who performed with the eventual runner-up of the talent contest on UK TV last Saturday (12.12.09) – told Olly he doesn’t need show boss Simon Cowell to make him a star and has offered to help him get signed.

Speaking at the launch of ‘The Gatwick Factor’, a karaoke competition being held at Britain’s Gatwick airport this week, Olly told BANG Showbiz: “I’m just a normal guy who has come from nowhere, but ever since I finished the show, Robbie’s phoned me every other day and said, ‘How are you, how are you getting on?’

“He’s really concerned about how I go on now, about my future and he wants to help me out.

“Let’s be fair, this guy’s been around for nearly 20 years, he’s got a lot of experience, and yeah, he’s had his highs and his lows like everybody else; but he’s got so much advice to give me and I really do genuinely see him as a friend now.”

Former call centre worker Olly – whose dancing and singing talents have been compared to Robbie’s – has also been offered the chance to go to the US to launch his career Stateside with the ‘Bodies’ singer’s help.

The 25-year-old singer added: “He did offer for me to go to Los Angeles with him. He said, ‘Come over and meet my friends,’ and I think he really sees a good future for me and that’s great.”

The socialite was driving to Disneyland in California with friends – who she calls the ‘I Don’t Give A F**K Crew (IDGAF)’ – when the driver lost control of the car, causing it to spin 360 degrees on a freeway.

Just minutes before the accident, the 20-year-old star tweeted: “Speeding like I have never, ever witnessed before on the freeway… feel like I’m in a scary car chase video game.”

This was quickly followed by: “Just actually experienced a full on car crash with the IDGAF crew. Wow, I guess we really don’t GAF.

“Honestly can’t believe we’re alive after that. And the front of the car is totally f***ed up and yet we’re still carrying on to Disney!?”

The female driver claimed the incident occurred when her foot “slipped” because she was so desperate to get them to the theme park promptly.

She told Peaches: “I was just trying to get us all to Disney on f***ing time! My creeper slipped on the pedals! It’s not my fault!”

Despite joking with friends on twitter about the crash, the blonde starlet was seemingly shaken up by the incident.

She wrote: “My last memories if we had all died following the epic crash – reading the NME, then screaming, clinging… what a way to go…”

Another member of the group, A.J. English – who posted a photograph of the damaged vehicle on his twitter account – was shocked the group had escaped without injury.

The singer posted an angry tirade on her Facebook page after losing custody of the teenager to late husband Kurt Cobain’s mother Wendy O’Connor and sister Kimberly Dawn Cobain.

She wrote: “I hate to sound cold but any kid of mine who pulls this s**t has lost her position … she was deceptive, she lied and she’s lying to herself.”

She also hinted that she would withhold Frances’ money from her as a result of her actions.

She added: “Frances is clearly deluded that can buy her grandmother a small house in LA (sic). I’d love to see how that works. She thinks she has all this money. The point is I have all the money she has.”

However, Courtney did add a positive note to her posting, admitting she doesn’t believe Frances made the decisions herself.

She wrote: “Don’t worry, Frances is a wonderful kid, she’s got bad people around her and wants it both ways.

“You could’ve asked for emancipation… you realise this will put you in juvenile family circus three times in your little life? I love you and always will unconditionally.”

Currently it is not known why Courtney has lost custody, although lawyers have said that it is not because she has had a drug relapse.

A lawyer for Wendy O’Connor and Kimberly Dawn Cobain, Kurt’s sister and mother, would only say the change was a “private family matter.”

Courtney, 45, previously lost custody of Frances to Wendy in 2003 after she took an overdose and was subsequently arrested on drug related charges. She won back custody of Frances in 2005 after a lengthy court battle.

A court hearing over the matter is scheduled to take place in February.

When asked if it is awkward to be busier than their partners, Scarlett quipped: “I don’t think Naomi is going for the same roles as Liev!”

When Liev confessed to wanting “a couple of roles she’s played,” Scarlett jokingly suggested it was so he could “wear the heels and the jewellery.”

Elton and David tried to adopt 17-month-old boy Lev – who has a three-year-old brother Artyom – this year but were stopped as their civil partnership isn’t recognised in the Eastern European country and the ‘Rocket Man’ singer is too old under Ukrainian law.

David – who along with Elton was offered a guardian role in the child’s life – said: “We want to support Lev and his brother and get them into a Ukrainian home and out of the orphanage.

“We were upset not to be allowed to adopt but we’ll fight and work with the Ukrainian government to change the law so that HIV positive children can be adopted.

“We’ll be like uncles. They can visit us on holidays.”

He said he and Elton – who was hospitalised after he was diagnosed with the E. coli bacterial infection and influenza in September – will be taking time out at Christmas to consider their options.

He told New magazine: “That’s part of what Christmas will be about – a chance to get out the treadmill and chill out. There is a lot to talk about.”

The ’30 Rock’ star is creating the Alec Baldwin Scholarship fund to benefit low income students who want to attend the prestigious New York University’s Tisch School of Arts.

He said: “The support I got from Tisch made it possible for me to become an actor and to have a career in this business. It’s important to give back to those institutions that give us such opportunities, and I encourage anyone to look into supporting their alma mater.”

The first scholarships will be given in September 2010, with the beneficiaries named Alec Baldwin Drama Scholars.

Eligible candidates must have good academic standing and demonstrate the need for financial assistance.

Alec recently said he plans to quit acting in 2012 once his contract for hit TV show ‘30 Rock’ expires as he no longer has the passion for it.

She told America’s OK! magazine: “The good thing about being induced is that it’s like planning a trip, just very calm. We ate a huge dinner before we came to the hospital.

“I ate a whole batch of brownies because I was nervous. No wonder he’s nine pounds!

“I was induced early in the morning; then it was wait, wait, wait. I was experiencing contractions throughout the day, and I was anxious. I kept checking the monitor every second, like ‘Is it happening yet?’ ”

However, Kendra also admitted she has few memories of the birthing experience after being stricken with “labour brain”.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress, who is on probation for a driving under the influence conviction (DUI), was ordered by Judge Marsha Revel that her classes must now take precedence over everything else.

Speaking at the Superior Court in Beverley Hills on Tuesday (15.12.09), the judge said: “I am going to order that this has to be done. It’s been long enough.

“This has to be a top priority whether she has a job somewhere else or doesn’t or something else comes up. This has to be done once a week.

“Right now, the other things will take second place and this will take first place.”

Lindsay has a deadline of July 15, 2010, to complete the six months of programme time.

In October, Lindsay was ordered to a Beverly Hills court amid rumours she was not complying with the court-ordered alcohol education lessons.

Gossip website TMZ claimed sources running the course contacted the court about Lindsay’s conduct and that she has been “outright violating the terms of the programme”.

Lindsay famously served just 84 minutes behind bars in 2007 before being placed on probation after pleading guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine, and no contest to two counts of drunken driving and one count of reckless driving.

The ‘I Look To You’ singer admits 16-year-old Bobbi Kristina takes after her father Bobby Brown in the personality stakes and believes it’s important for her to let her real feelings be known.

The British filmmaker is so determined to make the day memorable, he has promised to rustle up a delicious roast turkey lunch with all the trimmings and “spoilt them rotten”.

The source explained to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “This means stockings hanging from under the kids’ beds, presents under the tree and a massive turkey, Brussels sprouts, chestnuts, the works.

“When Guy and Madonna were together they didn’t really celebrate Christmas Day due to Madonna’s staunch Kabbalah beliefs. Now that he’s a single man, Guy is determined to spoil them rotten and give the youngsters a Christmas they’ll never forget.”

Madonna – who also has daughter Lourdes, 13, and four-year-old adopted daughter Mercy – and Guy announced they were to divorce in October 2008 after almost eight years of marriage.

It is not clear whether the girls will also be invited to Guy’s Christmas bash.

The ‘Spiderman’ actor has dispelled rumours he has signed up to play Bilbo Baggins in the upcoming movie adaptation of the prequel to the ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy and insists he hasn’t even been asked about the role.

He said: “I have not met or spoken to the director Guillermo del Toro or the producer Peter Jackson or anybody. Nobody has given me a script or approached me about it.”

It was recently reported the 34-year-old actor’s agency had confirmed he was in preliminary talks with movie producers about starring in the project.

Another website posted an alleged interview with the star, which claimed Tobey had told them he had met with the director personally and was interested in the role.

But Tobey admits these stories left him confused.

He explained to US TV show ‘Access Hollywood’: “Somebody actually sent me that link that said that I had a conversation with the director and it was just not true. I was wondering if maybe there was a miscommunication, I was talking about another director or something.”

She added to Allure magazine: “I’m not the monster I used to be in the exercise department. You get past your 20s, you’ve got kids, you’re kind of unmotivated.

“You want to be healthy and look good, but you want to do the least amount to maintain that.”

Georgette Civil, 46, is happy her 31-year-old son is apparently back with the ‘Rehab’ singer following their divorce in August, and thinks they’ll get married again next year because they’re still very much in love.

She said: “Neither of them really wanted a divorce. I hope that this time around, drug free and with their families to support them, they can work through any problems.

“I’m convinced her and Blake will marry next year. I don’t know when, where, or how it will happen. I’d like to be at the wedding this time round, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they went away and got hitched without anyone knowing about it. Whatever they do, I think it’s going to be a happy ending this time.”

Although Georgette is keen for the couple – who tied the knot in a secret Miami ceremony in 2007 – to remarry, she thinks their divorce was the right thing to do because their romance had become unworkable.

She added in an interview with New! magazine: “I thought a divorce was the best thing for both of them at the time, as they were a destructive influence on each other. But I was sad Blake had lost the love of his life.”

Amy, 26, recently spent 36 hours holed up in Blake’s home in Sheffield, England, where he is completing a stint in rehab.

According to Georgette, they started speaking on the phone in September and in November Amy started wearing her wedding ring again.

The pop trio – whose only remaining founding member Keisha left in September and was swiftly replaced by Jade Ewen – have had to deal with allegations from fans that Keisha was unfairly ousted, but Heidi says things in the group have never been better since Keisha departed.

The ‘About A Girl’ singer said: “It’s such a difference, we don’t dread coming to work any more! We laugh all the time now.”

Bandmate Amelle Berrabah – who checked into a private clinic in Austria for three weeks in October to be treated for “severe nervous exhaustion” – also insisted she, Heidi and Jade are getting on great and feels the group is much stronger following Keisha’s exit.

She added to Britain’s Star magazine: “Our personalities really gel. It feels so natural and like we’ve all been together a lot longer.

“Jade fits like a glove. She looks great, she sings great and we couldn’t be happier that she’s part of the group.”
