Candy Spelling Expects Her Future Relationship With Daughter Tori Will Be “wonderful”

The 64-year-old author is “thrilled” to have reconciled with ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ star Tori – who she has been embroiled in a bitter feud with for years – and is looking forward to a happier future.
She said: “I’m looking forward to a lot of wonderful things. We have done this privately, which is what I’ve always wanted and I think so did Tori, and I’m really thrilled.”
Candy is currently working on her first Broadway show, ‘Promises, Promises’.
However, she doesn’t think her work will ever be good enough for Tori to star in.
She is quoted by website E! Online as saying: “I don’t know that I’m as good as she is. I’m sorry, but I have to be generous there. She’s been doing it for so long. She’s much more of a pro than I can ever be.”
Candy and Tori started speaking again in September when they found themselves hospitalised at the same time.
Tori needed medical treatment for a stomach problem while Candy was in hospital for back surgery.
Candy was even allowed to see her grandchildren, 18-month-old Stella and Liam, two, for the first time in over a year, which then set the wheels in motion for a reconciliation.
The pair first fell out in 2006 when actress Tori teased her mother on her TV show ‘So NoTORIous’.
The feud worsened when Tori’s late father and Candy’s deceased husband – millionaire TV producer Aaron Spelling – left his daughter a tiny amount in his will.
