The New Zealand-born model is said to be getting over her split from ice hockey player Jarret Stoll – who ended their relationship just seven weeks before they were due to marry this year – by spending time with the former Formula One racing driver.

Guests at the Cinema Society’s after-party for ‘Broken Embraces’, which was held at New York’s Standard Hotel, saw 40-year-old Rachel “giggling and flirting” with Eddie.

Rachel – who was previously married to singer Rod Stewart – was heartbroken when Jarret walked out on her in June, leaving her to email guests and tell them their August wedding was off.

A source said at the time: “Rachel is absolutely devastated. Everything was in place for their wedding – she had the venue, the designer dress, the guest list.

The actress admits she and husband Tony Parker can only get steamy between the sheets at weekends because of her filming schedule in Hollywood and his commitments to his basketball team the San Antonio Spurs, who are based in Texas.

She told Joy magazine: “I work three to four days per week. And then I fly to Texas to spend a long weekend with Tony. So we only have sex during the weekend.”

Eva and Tony’s lovemaking time is further reduced by her interests away from the US TV show.

The 34-year-old actress has set up her own production company and owns a Hollywood restaurant Beso, which serves Mexican food, and admits she hates not being busy.

She added: “I can never sit still and must always be doing something. I founded my own production company. We have already developed three TV shows and are currently working on two film projects. At the same time Tony and I are building a house in San Antonio and this takes a very long time. Luckily, I inherited my mother’s multi-tasking gene. But you have to set priorities!”

The 25-year-old presenter is concerned she will lapse back into substance abuse when she has more time on her hands but is doing her best to avoid repeating her self-destructive habits.

Kelly – who is in the final of the US TV talent show – said: “When I’m busy and not left with me in my own head I’m fine.

“I worry about when the show stops – slipping back into negativity, drink and drugs. I’m taking precautions so I won’t get in that position. My life when I drink is so dark and miserable.”

Although Kelly has been sober since she left a rehab clinic in February, she has no problem with others drinking alcohol around her and has even postponed her wedding to 19-year-old Luke Worrall until he is old enough to drink in America, where the legal age is 21.

Kelly – who mainly lives in the US – told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Luke and I are engaged and we’ll get married when I want to. But he isn’t even 21 yet, so he can’t drink in America so what’s the point in getting married until he can?” Luke turns 21 in December 2011.

A source told Life and Style magazine: “He’s spending more time with the family and doing less of these appearances, even though it’s a huge sum of cash.”

A spokesperson for the event – which featured performances from Beyonce Knowles, Aerosmith and Timbaland, and raised money for clean water charity Fresh2o – admitted Brad had been expected to attend and was unsure why he had shunned the huge appearance fee.

The future of Aerosmith has been thrown into doubt after the singer said he wanted to take a year off to pursue a solo career, but the frontman’s bandmates are “suspicious” of his current behaviour.

Guitarist Brad Whitford said: “I suspect there’s a lot more going on than we know about. He has a well-documented history of drug abuse, and I find myself very suspicious. I haven’t seen him do this or have any personal knowledge, but the isolation is very typical of addictive behaviour, and his – what I call – irrational behaviour.”

Drummer Joey Kramer also urged 61-year-old Steven – whose daughter is Hollywood actress Liv Tyler – to seek help and “get healthy”.

Joey said: “Steven has made some poor choices as of late, and he’s got some bad influences around him, and I think that for the most part he’s his own worst enemy “.

A spokesperson for the ‘Crazy’ singer – who gave up heroin after completing a stint in rehab in 1986 – is not commenting on the drug claims and insists Steven is busy writing a book.

The diva reportedly wanted the young felines and 100 white doves to accompany her at the extravagant switch-on ceremony at Westfield shopping centre, in west London.

She also requested to be showered with butterfly-shaped confetti – her favourite insect – while standing on a pink podium and waving a magic wand.

The American singer will arrive in a Rolls-Royce car and be accompanied by 80 security guards as well as her 15-strong entourage.

But while most of her demands have been met, health and safety officials refused her request to have kittens and doves – because animals are not allowed inside the complex.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper: “We did manage to source the doves that we were going to release into the sky, but the kittens proved terribly difficult.

“In the end, it was made clear that due to health and safety, there was no way we could have the animals at Westfield. Pets are not allowed in Westfield – that rule would apply for everyone.

“We have worked extremely hard to make sure that Mariah’s event is fantastic. Even the model of car had to be changed six times to one that her people liked.”

The ‘Hero’ singer, who is appearing on UK TV talent show ‘The X Factor’ this weekend, recently admitted she loves being a diva – but doesn’t think she is demanding enough.

Officers were called to the socialite’s Los Angeles home after neighbours allegedly saw her and Doug Reinhart “shoving each other” and screaming loudly.

According to gossip website TMZ, Doug went to get into his car, prompting Paris to scream, “Don’t go, don’t go”, before they started rowing, eventually going back inside the property.

Police responded after being alerted to “drunk people arguing” and spoke to the 28-year-old heiress before leaving.

Despite the reports, Paris insists her neighbour was mistaken and she and Doug, 24, were not involved in the altercation.

She said: “Doug and I were in bed, sound asleep, when Doug’s houseguests from hell got into an argument. We had nothing to do with it. Doug told the LAPD that his guests’ fight was over and that we had nothing to do with it.”

The 37-year-old singer has been working with every member of Oasis, except brother Noel who quit the group in August, on fresh material and plans to have an album out by July.

He told MTV Italy: “We’ve been demoing some songs that we’ve had about, that we’ve had for a while. Just doing that, on the quiet, not making a big fuss about it.

“After Christmas we might go in the studio and record them and hopefully have an album out in July.

“We’ll do it in a different kind of way now. I’ll try and reconnect with a new band, new songs, and I’m feeling confident about the songs.

The band broke-up last summer after Liam’s older brother Noel quit following a backstage fight before a concert in Paris, France, which saw them smash up each other’s guitars.

He explained in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Deejay: “To be quite honest, I think Noel wanted out.

“I jumped in a freezing cold lake. They told me that it was really good for my skin so me and this other girl just threw ourselves in. You literally can’t feel your legs and your hands because it is so cold. It was just a really refreshing time away.”

In September, Keisha Buchanan – one the pop trio’s founding members – was ousted from the girl group after months of feuds and was replaced by 21-year-old Jade Ewen.

The reality TV star was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after complaining of feeling unwell and doctors quickly diagnosed her as suffering from the illness.

Her representative said: “Nicole has checked into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia. She is doing well.”

Over the weekend, Nicole – who has two children, 22-month-old Harlow and two-month-old Sparrow with partner Joel Madden – had spoken about not feeling well.

Earlier this week, Nicole was granted a restraining order against two paparazzi who she claims caused her recent car accident.

Speaking at the premiere of his new film ‘Me and Orson Welles’ in London’s Leicester Square last night (18.11.09), he told BANG Showbiz: “I would love to if I could find the right opportunity, I think it’s a matter of time to be honest but I don’t know, I just want to make a break, so it’s harder to be very specific.”

In coming-of-age-drama ‘Me and Orson Welles’, Zac plays a teenage student who, by luck, gets to work with a young Orson Welles – the acclaimed American writer and director, who is played by Hollywood newcomer Christian McKay in the movie.

Zac – who spent time meeting his dedicated fans while walking the red carpet yesterday evening – revealed he gave Christian acting advice on set.

He said: “He had like small questions here and there. But he is a quick student that guy, in a matter of weeks he had completely transformed, he just fully immersed himself in a way that I can’t even do.”

She said in an interview on fashion news website WWD: “There are loads of mottos. There’s, ‘Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels’. That’s one of them. You try and remember, but it never works.”

Similar phrases can be found on pro-anorexia websites such as Starving For Control – which can be found at the web address www.freewebs.com/toxicana/tipsandtricks – which carries the slogan “nothing tastes as good as thin feels”.

The 35-year-old British beauty – who has a seven-year-old daughter, Lila Grace – has now been accused of encouraging young people to develop eating disorders.

Dr Anthea Fursland, a psychologist who specialises in treating eating disorders, told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper: “The term is used in anorexia websites to reinforce to themselves and each other to pursue thinness.

“I think it could have quite a large impact having someone so famous saying that. She is just giving credence to a belief that we are trying to move away from. If they’re at the cusp and feeling vulnerable, that might send them back into the pursuit of thinness.”

Model Katie Green – who launched the Say No To Size Zero campaign in the UK earlier this year – also blasted Kate’s remarks, warning that websites which encourage eating disorders will “go crazy” over her comments, believing she supports their cause.

She said: “There are 1.1 million eating disorders in the UK alone. Kate Moss’s comments are likely to cause many more.

“If you read any of the pro-anorexia websites they go crazy for quotes like these.”

The former Pulp frontman – who has a six-year-old son Albert with former spouse Camille Bidault-Waddington – admits he hasn’t always been hygienic but has made much more of an effort since he embarked on a new romance with a mystery woman.

The ‘All For You’ singer says she and the rest of the Jackson family knew the late pop legend – who died in June from acute Propofol intoxication – was abusing prescription drugs but their attempts at an intervention were unsuccessful.

When quizzed about her sibling’s drug use, she said: “Those are the things you do when you love someone. You can’t just let them continue on that way. And we did a few times but we weren’t very successful.”

Despite the family’s best efforts, Janet claims Michael – who had a cocktail of prescription drugs in his system when he passed away – wouldn’t accept that he had a substance abuse problem.

She added to ‘Good Morning America’ host Robin Roberts: “He understood our efforts were out of love, because of caring. But when people are like that they tend to be in denial. But I wish he could answer that question for you and not me.”

Janet is not the first member of the Jackson family to reveal they had tried to get the ‘Thriller’ singer off drugs.

Tito – who was a member of the Jackson 5 along with his sibling – accused his brother’s employees of helping him obtain and use prescription drugs against the wishes of his family.

He said earlier this year: “I think he was encircled by enablers. It was always a difficult situation, some people care about their job more than the person’s health and wellbeing and I think that’s what we experienced, some of the employers, security or whatever, were more concerned about their pay cheques than letting us check on our brother.”

The British actor – who plays Edward Cullen in the vampire franchise which has taken the world by storm – felt completely overwhelmed when he had to film a scene where he strips off.

He told Parade.com: “I felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square, ripping my clothes off. I was essentially doing a striptease.

“But here’s the irony, it was also one of the moments where I’ve really felt closest to people’s attachment to Edward. There were so many extras in that scene who were ‘Twilight’ fans who had flown in just to be a part of it. It was quite uplifting and it was also very nerve-wracking.”

The 23-year-old star also said he felt a little resentful about how muscular Taylor Lautner managed to get for his role as the werewolf character Jacob Black in the film.

He said: “I didn’t see Taylor until just a little bit before we started shooting. I had the same reaction as everybody else. Its like, ‘Jeez, now I have to go to the gym.’ ”

Speaking about the incident, which happened following a lunch with her mother, Nicole recalled: “I was on foot, I got in my car to drive east to go to a business meeting. They were cutting each other off, to lobby for a better position. They were trying to get in front of me or beside me, I was following my mom. I crossed on yellow. They ran the red light in order to follow me. Then I stopped, then out of nowhere, a car slammed right into me.”

The judge has ruled the two men are to stay 50 yards away from Nicole and her two children – 22-month-old Harlow and two-month-old Sparrow – for the next three years.
