50 Cent Wants To Star In A Romantic Comedy

The rapper-and-actor – who has a 12-year-old son Marquise with former partner Shaniqua Tompkins – wants to challenge himself with a new movie direction away from his previous outings in action adventures as he believes it would show off a softer side to his personality.
He explained: “It would be interesting for people to see that side of me. It would be a challenge, but I’ve seen artists like Ice Cube transition and challenge themselves.
“It’s easier if a woman accepts you as a manly man. But a softer moment works, too, because then she’ll suddenly see you as a romantic!”
The ‘Before I Self Destruct’ star recently admitted to having a vulnerable side, revealing he spends tens of thousands of dollars protecting himself.
He said: “I spend $20,000 a week on security. My home is surrounded by cameras.
“I need surveillance not only to look out for me but also to protect me. You get all these crazy lawsuits and I need cameras to check on things.”
