‘New Moon’ Soundtrack Has Reached No. 2 On Billboard 200

The soundtrack of’ ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ has already grabbed the No. 2 slot in Billboard 200 chart. The score for New Moon is being composed by Alexandre Desplat while the rest of the soundtrack was chosen by music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas. In the UK the album debuted at number 1 on the compilations chart.
The ‘New Moon:Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’ album was released earlier this month by Patsavas Chop Shop label, in conjunction with Atlantic Records. The soundtrack would feature songs from Radiohead, Muse, and Band of Skulls.
Alexandre replaces Carter Burwell, who wrote the score for the previous film, Twilight. In Australia the soundtrack rose to number 1 on the iTunes Store.
